Moderna booster shot update:

I got my first Moderna booster shot on Wednesday, February 22. Day 2, I have a fever, headace, and nausea. I did take medicine for the side effects. Day 3, I feel better.

Whoah DST OC. Her name is Dr. Wexler (full name Wexler Flavia Ana-Maria, 20 years old, she/her/any pronoun she doesn't care about gender) and she is a doctor. I'm not sure for now what kind of doctor exactly (she is still in "beta") but probably a surgeon. In her quest to find a cure for all imperfections in the human body she decides to listen to some cryptic dreams she had involving the... moon? More rambling below cut.

She was a "gifted kid" so to speak. She has been training to become a doctor ever since she was a child, mostly pushed by her parents, especially her father. She shone as the most intelligent between her other 4 siblings and it sort of gave her a superiority complex. She is indeed smart and a quick learner but she is also pretty immature and has no concept of personal space. She'll ask you a million questions with no filter. She grew up to be a Bastard but a Bastard with ambition and a goal: perfect the human body. Not in an eugenics way but rather in a weird bio-transhumanism/finding the panacea way. She worked day and night but eventually all progress came to a halt and she slipped into despair with each moment that passed. She stopped sleeping to dedicate herself to her work and the sleep deprivation caused her to start hearing weird whispers and seeing bizarre wisps of light vaguely shapes like people in the corners of her vision. It all culminates in her passing out due to exhaustion. Wexler has a dream during this slumber about what she thought was the moon "watching her". When she woke up, a considerable amount of time had passed and on her desk there was a sheet of paper with writing in a language she didn't understand. Since then she dedicated herself to deciphering these texts and she got better and better at it in time. Now she was intentionally depriving herself of sleep in order to pass out again and have the same "moon" dreams, only to wake up to more pages with unknown text she had written presumably while unconscious. But at one point, she got a bit too close. And the next time she woke up, she was in The Constant.

And that's the basic outline of her story for now. Obviously it will be subject to change and tweaks. The real idea behind Wexler is that I think a character that got into The Constant via a deal with Alter rather than with Them/Maxwell is pretty cool.

As for her physical design I think I'll play around with the hair more. I like the idea with the spirals being implemented since they're used in so many of the designs in DST but I'm not sure exactly how. (The white streak is a side effect of using Moon magic btw, she is not getting white hairs naturally at 20 years of age lmao). The outfit I really like. It's simple and it gets the job done. This was drawn in a sorta pseudo DST style. I'm mainly just playing around with ideas here :P

As for how she would integrate in gameplay... definitely some sort of offensive support character centered around giving buffs to your teammates. Though I'd like if she could also use those buffs on herself so she isn't obsolete in solo. I mean she'd be able to craft boostershots, healing salves, honey poultices, whatever the weed healing item was called and telltale hearts straight away that's something I guess lol. There are sketches of how some exclusive items to her would look like up there.
