Characters baring a mouth full of sharp fangs as show of aggression is top tier but can we talk about how sinister a flash of smooth square omnivore teeth can be. The implications therein? The difference between facing a carnivore vs a member of the terrifyingly, aptly named 'opportunistic eaters'? so we suspect one of our dogs grew up abused which is. a terrible way to start this. but we've had her for five or six years now and she still retains a lot of her habits but its very cute to see how our love for her has changed her. youll see her all curled up tail tucked in ears flat as you approach but shes making these tiny little tail wags anyway.

#when we first adopted her she was soo scared she hid and bit and ran away. and shes still very scared but in a shaky way not a running way. #she loves getting pets from me lol. #and she could not handle my dad for the longest time and she still fairly cautious but now she'll come up to him for pets! its so sweet #and when a lot of people when come over she used to nip at heels but i think shes taught herself to just hide under the bed instead #and even then! sometimes she comes down of her own accord! #she loves belly rubs. and when i hold her tiny head between my hands and grind down on her skull. #now that shes getting up there in age + we think she was a mom before we adopted her she has difficulty getting onto couches #and shes been doing this thing where when you sit down and she wants to join when you bend down to pick her up she'll run from your hand #and i think she likes it because shes like running and jumping and wagging her tail and showing her belly. shes such a freak. #and she jumps like a bunny rabbit for treats its so cute its my moms nickname for her. #and shes always walking underfoot because shes a freak #and occasionally if you pet her wrong she'll snap and you and then immediately get really apologetic and wanting pets its so sad #this has just been me talking about my dog. i love my dog. ill post a picture of my dog.

correct me if I'm wrong but I was just thinking about the roykeeley in season two of it all, and that fight where Keeley loses it at Roy for being clingy because she can't handle how close they are now that they work in the same building but like,,, Keeley and Roy would have been working in the same building while dating for a good chunk of season one as well.

She started working at Nelson Road before Jamie was even sent back to Manchester. They would of had months working in the same building, so either Roy has always been that clingy and Keeley just didn't mind at first, which I found doubtful given that it only takes her like a week to blow up at him for it in season two, or Roy being clingy is an out of character thing for him to be doing that should've raised some kind of red flag to friends and loved ones that I feel like from what we know about Keeley as a character would've been treated with more empathy than she actually had in the show.

hc that when sasuke returns, naruto tries everything to get sakura and sasuke together. he starts off slow with arranging meetings where both of them are present at the same time. he has to work extra hard because sasuke and sakura, while still connected, are not entirely comfortable post THE incident (naruto has started calling sasuke’s defection a pilgrimage).

then he ups the ante. naruto starts nudging them towards each other. assigning missions together, scaring away any other potential suitors, even stealing certain things from sakura so that sasuke can get over his constipated self and make a move.

and naruto is happy when he finally spots sasuke exit sakura’s flat in the early hours of a day with rumpled clothes and doing the classic walk of shame. he expects to be told that they have started dating when sasuke says monotonously that sakura and he have started a fwb arrangement and sakura felt weird about telling naruto that so as a sign of good faith,  sasuke agreed to let him know.

cue naruto losing his patience and shouting at sasuke for being an idiot and promising to end sasuke if he continues being a scoundrel (do you even know what scoundrel means, dobe?) when sasuke loses his patience and hisses:

“it’s between us, you idiot! besides, why do you care this much?”

and naruto stops because how can he say that he’s sick of sakura going out with men and not getting laid and being bitchier than usual? sasuke might be his best friend, but sakura is his person, you know. yes, she doesn’t make sense to him, but naruto would rather die than take sasuke’s side rn after sakura didn’t abandon him for all those years

It’s Sunday! You know what that means! It’s Doe’s time to pay the Mapplethorpe tax! What is the Mapplethorpe tax? Well, for a person as coloured and chaotic as Mapplethorpe, a tax can be a good many things: sacrifices of snacks, comics, pilfered goods from the killers to make it easier to escape his thoughts at the quietness of the campfire. OR, attention.

Mapplethorpe’s do love their attention! But being that Doe and Mapplethorpe already spend as much time in each other’s company as they do. A bit of playing around and trouble-causing would be a bit mundane. It’s hardly worth paying the Mapplethorpe tax with! So, instead of a chase or mischief in a harmless light, Doe has sought to pay her tax with a particular sort of mischief.

Comfortable with the taller man settled in her lap and her legs wrapped around his hips, drawing him against her chest. Doe focused on the task at hand, one hand curling gently around the mass of blonde curls, delicate to ensure her fingers didn’t become caught, as she brushed them over his opposite shoulder to expose the delicate skin of his neck to the cold air around them. It was cute how quickly it always seemed to redden despite Mapplethorpe’s best efforts, but she wouldn’t stop to stare long, not in a position like this, at least; his neck called to her something fierce. Taking her unused hand, Doe pushed aside his hoodie ever so slightly, giving way just enough space to bury herself at the juncture of his neck and sweater.

It was a familiar, comfortable position that felt like belonging, like home, only accentuated by the shaking sounds she could hear escaping beneath Mapplethorpe’s breath at the feeling of her fanning over his skin. Doe wants to giggle and titter with him then, to breathe in the scent of warm spice and cotton linen that clung to his skin and take in the moment unabashedly, greedily.

But she would be merciful this time around, pressing her lips to suck a kiss into his skin, mercifully without her lipstick this time. No, she’d give the blonde a break; it would break her heart to see his poor skin rendered red from scrubbing and baby wipes again. Besides, this was for the Mapplethorpe tax, not the Doe tax, which could come at a separate date! Oh, she’d hold him to that.
