so uh fun fact! my ex-boyfriend and I became close to each other because we made an agreement to watch each other's favorite media, so I played danganronpa and he started watching merlin.
we got together, and then we broke up (on good terms), and I teased him about never actually finishing merlin even though I got through all of danganronpa. well, flash forward to about half a year after breaking up. we've only sent a few texts during this time, but one day, I check my phone and see-

The great tragedy of Merlin is that he always put Arthur first and it ended in tragedy. But if he'd put his people first, it probably would have ended well for all involved. :(
Y’know, BBC Merlin feels like,, it’s actually more like some mirrorverse Merlin or something, like so many plot lines feel like “hey what if this actually went wrong?” especially Arthur dying at the end instead of fulfilling his destiny, I just. 100% it feels like it’s actually the “nothing went as it was supposed to” universe, the branched off universe, the doomed universe, etc
I get why we’re all still talking about Arthur’s death in the finale - I’m still pissed, too - but what about Gwaine? I’m not over that either. Where’s the outrage? We should be rioting at the BBC
