As your common mythology enjoyer I always adore seeing the way myths evolve and transform through the times and end up adapting to the people’s views and needs.
Since any good mythological pantheon has its own clashing sources, do you think there would have been some myths pertaining to Savior’s and Oizys’s relationship? Even though it is quite clear that they had a strong friendship that is never stopping the people from fantasising and over glamorising their dynamic into something leaning more towards the romantic?
I don’t know why but ever since seeing Pierro’s heated reaction after his battle with that corrupted version of Oizys… I couldn’t stop wondering how would he react if some of his subordinates discovered some rather… interesting representations of both those deities during their glory days… (I pity his subordinates sm sometimes)
I’m mainly bringing this up because I’ve recently had to do some research concerning art in Ancient Greece and Rome and the things those people would depict in public spaces or simply in their art is wild 😭
Read my Yandere! Pierro fics first!!
Disjecta Membra ✧ Chess Piece
Naturally, there are several references to Savior and Oizys’s millennia-long friendship. On the tamer end of the spectrum, they often appear in each other’s religious art. A pair of figures in pottery fragments. The recurring motif of mist in paintings of the Child of Night. Myths of their first meeting, their glory days, Oizys’s role in Savior’s birthday festivals, etc.
Those artifacts don’t really bother Pierro. He already knows that they were close in the past, and why should he feel threatened by a ghost? And the more relics of his darling, the better, right? The romantic interpretations of their relationship say otherwise.
A few ancient texts call them “lovers.” Another cites their living arrangement as the guide to a proper marriage. One sculpture imagines them mourning Pasithea’s death…in a rather intimate embrace. And according to ancient Miserian tradition, gifting someone embroidery is equal to a love confession. The origins for the last one are long-forgotten, but Pierro easily connects it to Savior’s craft and Oizys’s fashion choices.
The last straw is the erotic art. To think that Pierro used to “appreciate" artworks of Savior in her old, skimpy attire; now he glares at Oizys’s indecent figure and tells his subordinates to erase it. Come to think of it, didn’t Savior once say that they shared a bed?
One day, he casually mentions it to Savior and her immediate reaction is laughter. Yes, those misunderstandings exist. Sure, there were a few times that she and Oizys satisfied each other’s physical needs, but lovers? No, they were dear friends and that was their preferred label. And Pierro would’ve been satisfied with that answer had she left it at that.
“Funnily enough, Vesta and I were never portrayed as lovers even though we were. Probably because most humans thought we were related—um, Pierro? Why are you looking at me like that?”
The next day, the Fatui is given orders to destroy every temple and relic belonging to the Lord of the Hearth.
As a fellow mythology enjoyer, I had a lot of fun writing this. Thank you for sending this ask, Anonie (⭒•͈ 𓎺 •͈ )

Some Mars/Jadeite headcanons for an AU that I may one day write. These mix the manga and the 90s anime.
Rei knew he was familiar when he started working at the temple and just couldn't accept it when he was revealed to be working for Beryl. So she consulted the fire and realized the truth about him.
So we're getting rid of that sexist line from the anime because it honestly makes no sense because he works for a Queen and because I say so.
But during that airport battle, Rei pleads with him to remember their past. It takes him getting run over by a plane to come to his senses.
After being purified he starts working at the temple once again.
In the past, Mars fell in love with him after bonding over shared annoyances over their princess and prince. Rei and Jadeite were very stressed that the prince and princess were always sneaking off to see each other. Jadeite also always gave her the space she needed. The two were able to have separate lives outside each other.
This is the same in the present. They give each other their space. The two would be very happy in a long distance relationship if that was ever needed and are happy living in the temple together.
They were very slow to get intimate with each other. Jadeite had trauma from being under Beryl's spell and also needed time to adjust to the 20th century and Rei was not ready for a romantic relationship. They had a more than friends but less than lovers thing for a long time and, despite being the first two reunited, were probably the last to become romantic again.
Besides Rei, the Guardian Jadeite gets along best with is Usagi. Usagi was always visiting him at the temple after he was purified. Rei was a little jealous because they seemed to get along so well. But Usagi was only doing it because she wanted to help him and she was totally into his and Rei's romance.
Usagi and Jadeite go on undercover missions together. Usagi has her disguise pen and well, when Jadeite was working for Beryl he always seemed to have a different job so we're going to continue that. Whatever they need a disguise for, Jadeite always happens to have an outfit for it. Rei originally asked him to go with Usagi on a mission because she didn't want her going alone and soon it became their thing.
The Shitennou Rei gets along best with besides Jadeite is Kunzite. He's (usually) one of the more serious of the group.
Jadeite makes amazing tea. If the girls are meeting at the temple, Jadeite has tea ready. If Rei and Koan are hanging out, he's got tea for them. He eventually, after trying several, to settle on a career of being a tea shop owner.
By their own choice, Jadeite and Rei do not have any biological children, but they do adopt Vesta and raise her.

My Analysis about Binan Koukou Transformation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you remember magical girl? Being female and has superpowers from aging up to fighting baddies weren't a rarity in the genre today. But what if we gender swap them and make some parody about something?
That's where Binan Koukou comes in. Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu (or "Boueibu" for official short name) is the series where the male quintet from Defense Club are forced to fight the monsters created by people with negative minds, and there's a villain trio (or duo in one case) that were responsible to this. If you watch Binan Koukou franchise until the end then you'll know how those teams will end up. And it's one of the anime series where All characters are boys! Even children are boys too! Whereas there's some characters mention girls on it, there's no single female shown in this Binan Koukou universe.
*cough* Well that aside, let's jump into the transformation part, shall we?
First off, are you familiar with Sailor Moon? For me, yes since it’s one of the anime I watch when I was young and it’s the first anime to have stock footage henshin. Unlike Sailor Moon, Binan Koukou has five members start transforming all at once in the first episode, so what will the staff do then? You’ll find out soon enough...
Protagonists
Tumblr media
First off, Battle Lovers from LOVE. The red one, Yumoto has to kiss the bracelet after saying ‘Love Making!’, and the scene goes of him naked, he then creates glazes and start forming his battle suit step-by-step, before introducing himself as Battle Lover Scarlet (those familiar with GoPri that aired on the same year will compare him with Cure Scarlet by name). Notice these scene one by one?
Tumblr media
How about the rest of the team? Just look at them, they just form a glaze to surround them, and burst off in full cloth, unlike Yumoto. Long story short, they make a similar case to Sailor Moon’s member. They even keep their hairstyle and even glasses for Atsushi/Epinard (green). The main point of this henshin is the dark-colored background turned lighter upon the completion and the colored naked bodies. Out of all the kissing scene, Ryuu/Vesta (pink) has the best one because of happy face and open eyes during kissing. Anyway, does these scenes remind you of Sailor Mercury’s transformation? Yep, because they’re showing back by the revealing the clothes instantly.
Now you understand? Then let’s move onward to the second season of the first series.
Tumblr media
Even with less step, Yumoto still show that he’s the only one with step-by-step henshin. Now with expression to put the cherry on top. The henshin was completed with the formation of the ribbon.
Tumblr media
The rest of the team are still shortened and it’s not even good. They surround themselves with the glaze in different way and without any revealing sound, they appear in full cloth. The main point of the henshin is the colored line of their naked bodies and the sparkles in kissing scene, which has different fist pose before kissing. They keep both henshin sequences from here and the first series in the OVA.
Now we'll move on to the second team: Karurusu Knights from HAPPY KISS. Given the same studio that animate the previous season, they kept the traits of: theme color lined nude body, and the activeness. But this one has a weird start.
Tumblr media
(unlike previous seasons, these transformations from HAPPY KISS were darkened a LOT, so most pictures are corrected by me. I know that the BD version will fix this, but I can’t find the torrent anywhere...)
The mascot transforms into human and lands to create a wide water barrier. Then the user enters the barrier without getting wet and the mascot reveals a symbol on his hand to be kissed by the user, with no incantation! Although not pictured, there are 5-colored rays of light surrounding Kyotaro/Fiore before activating his transformation.
Tumblr media
And in the stock footage, the red leader, Kyotaro, appear naked alone and perform magic by the rod to form the suit step-by-step, starting with right boots. I kind of not liking the one with short shorts because only showing navel at first, and a rising shoulders before summoning gloves. Like Yumoto, Kyotaro completed his henshin by forming a ribbon.
Tumblr media
The rest have almost the worst shortened henshin. With similar method (minus the rays of light). They spin their rod (except Ichiro/Spazio [pink]) and encase their naked body in ice shaped in respective theme and quickly breaks. As the scene fades in, they’re fully clothed, keeping their hairstyle like Kyotaro and even glasses for Taishi/Neve (blue). Sailor Moon fans will notice they’re similar to Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus henshin from the first anime. Sailor Neptune and Sailor Pluto are also the same as the four from Happy Kiss, but without lip scene. Does Ichiro’s full cloth scene reminds you of Atsushi’s from the previous season?
In case of the name, I've been wondering upon watching it: since the series named HAPPY KISS, why they need to have ‘Kiss’ in their warrior name? (like Fiore Kiss, Stella Kiss, Luna Kiss, Neve Kiss and Spazio Kiss) But since they kiss the mascot’s hand, it makes sense, however at that time they felt unmatched for me at all.
Villains
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How about the villains? Well, let’s see... for LOVE, there’s Caerula Adamas. For Kinshiro (Chevalier Orite) he scans his right leg and he’s done. The rest of the trio (Ibushi/Argent and Akoya/Perlite) aren’t even a sequence at all aside of roll call and pose.
Tumblr media
They’re pretty much the same in terms of the two version of their battle costume (S1's black and S2's white) so I’m not gonna say much, but Kinshiro’s pose with his ring in S2 are very badass at least.
Tumblr media
Season 2 introduces the singer duo Haruhiko/Salty Sol and Akihiko/Melty Luna from VEPPER. Where Sol handles the arm, Luna handles the leg. Then there’s split screen then another separate scene for them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HAPPY KISS introduces Edelstein with the same treatment as Caerula Adamas and Karurusu Knights because their mascot must be in human form to activate their battle form. Ata (Ritter Diamant) has the full body ping while Taiju/Rosenquarz and Masa/Amethyst aren’t even a sequence. But posing-wise they’re better than the previous trio, especially Masa/Amethyst.
Tumblr media
And their pose with the rings are cool too, and I especially love their transformation phrase. "Die Verwandlung!!"
Now can you realize the similarities? If you’re familiar with Sailor Moon then yes, the trio are alike Outer Senshi while Beppu siblings are alike Sailor Starlight. In my opinion, among all villain transformations in the franchise, Beppu brothers from S2 are the best one.
Others
Aside from those, there's some transformations where it occurs very short with just posing, though it's reasonable for a number of reasons.
Tumblr media
Battle Lovers are forced to de-age into kids that their battle outfit were oversized for them to wear. And the group roll call at the end is simple but cute.
Tumblr media
Karurusu Knights reversed this as they become grandpas! I can't imagine them actually transforming in that state, but I really like Taishi/Neve's pose here, it's so funny.
Tumblr media
Okay, guess I covered the entire thing from the series and let's end this session with ''Happy Powder!''
In conclusion, these two series has only the red leader performing like the regular transformation do, and the other four and almost all villains just do something to be instantly appear in full cloth afterwards, just like the rest of the member of Sailor Moon. While LOVE members can transform by their own, Happy Kiss requires their respective mascot in human form which it felt a bit like PriMagi (for beginning part, at least). I’m feeling the rest of the four’s transformation animation are just getting worse season by season, but the flow without worrying about it is still awesome, though. But give this franchise a pass if you want all members including the leader have longer step-by-step henshin because you might be disappointed if you watch Binan Koukou and even Sailor Moon’s transformations (because I'm a fan of step-by-step transformation and that's why the males from non-magical girl shows had one of the best transformation in my opinion). That’s enough analysis for now and I’ll see you in my next post!

Brainrotting about student council member Io because episode 6 has ruined my life,
but isn't it interesting that out of all the Battle Lovers, only Io has an alias that fits the Caerula Adamas' naming convention based on minerals?
For the Battle Lovers we've got:
Scarlet and Cerulean named after colors,
Our beloved spinach boy Epinard,
Vesta (named after a Roman goddess of all things, I have an entire thing to say about that but not here),
and Sulfur.
While the Caerula Adamas has:
Aurite (gold),
Argent (silver),
and Perlite (the show likes to use pearls for his visuals instead of actual perlite, but either way, it still fits).
Laying it out like that, I would say the name Sulfur actually fits better with the Conquest Club than it does with the Defense Club, though admittedly the latter's naming convention is rather all over the place.
Actually, I find it funny that in the Conquest Club, Sulfur as a name fits better than Perlite does despite Perlite being part of the original group. Think about it, if in this hypothetical scenario where Io did actually pull through on the whole betrayal arc and becomes Chevalier Sulfur or whatever, their individual names would be:
Chevalier Aurite (Au), Chevalier Argent (Ag), Chevalier Perlite, and Chevalier Sulfur (S)
See which one of them doesn't fit? That's right, it's Perlite! Sorry Akoya, you should grab yourself a new name from the periodic table, then you can come back to the club.
Jokes aside, I just wonder how on purpose this was. They did tease the concept of Io being a turncoat in episode 6 after all, and consequently gave me permanent brain damage all these years later.
Io: Money doesn't betray.
Ryuu: But you do?!
Like come on, as if my gay brain was going to let all that angst potential go just like that. And the fact that the narcissist Akoya saw Io as fit enough to join the student council despite clearly seeing the Defense Club as beneath him shows that Io has the potential for... well, something. What that something is I don't know yet, but clearly he has enough of a 'dark side' to consider abandoning his friends for money, even if he did turn back on that decision in the show proper.
That, or Akoya is just hella gay for Io and wanted him to spend more time with him instead of Ryuu.
My money is on both ;)

Chapter 15, Mars and Vulcan
PART I
The three children of Jupiter and Juno were Hebe, Mars, and Vulcan. Hebe, goddess of youth, was cupbearer at the feasts of Olympus and poured from golden flagons the sparkling, ruby-tinted nectar. Many times were the brimming cups emptied and filled again, for the gods loved long draughts of the life-giving nectar that kept off all sickness and decay. No wine of earth's yielding ever appeared at these royal banquets, nor were there seen here the heaped-up platters of food such as mortals crave; for the gods ate only of the divine ambrosia which insured to them eternal youth and beauty.
For so long a time had fair-haired Hebe served at the feasts of Olympus that the gods never thought that she could be deprived of her office; but once, as she was handing Jupiter a well-filled cup, she stumbled and fell, and the ruler of gods and men was so angry that he vowed that she should never again be cupbearer. Since no one among the gods116 was willing to fill this humble position, Jupiter was obliged to seek over the earth for some mortal to take the place of poor disgraced Hebe. To make the journey as speedily as possible he assumed the form of an eagle, and spent many days soaring over the land before he found the youth whose slender grace made him feel assured that its possessor would be able to serve the gods less awkwardly than Hebe. On the sunny slopes of Mount Ida he saw a group of youths playing games, and among them was one whom Jupiter determined to bear away at once to Olympus. This was Ganymede, a prince of Troy; and the fact that he was no common mortal, but a king's son, did not deter Jupiter from swooping down upon the astonished youth, and carrying him aloft on his wings. Whether Ganymede was happy in Olympus we do not know; but the story goes that he remained forever at Jupiter's side, and the city of Troy never saw him again, nor did the king his father ever know the reason for his strange disappearance.
PART II
Mars31 was the god of war; and though he was the least loved of all the deities in Olympus, he was the one most feared by the people of every land. As he was always a hater of peace, and would117 stir up strife among men for the mere delight of fighting and bloodshed, the poet Homer calls him "the slayer of men, one steeped in blood, the destroyer of walled towns." His shrines were never wreathed with flowers, nor were children often found among the people grouped about his altars. Instead of the yearling ox with gilded horns, men sacrificed a savage bull to the god who took no pleasure in the tame shedding of blood. Sometimes Bellona, goddess of war, accompanied Mars in his chariot to watch over his safety; and since she was equally eager to urge men on to bloody fighting, their appearance together on the battle-field brought terror to the bravest heart. Seldom were prayers addressed to these two deities, except those of vengeance upon enemies; and there was little hope of peace for the nation when men thronged the temples where Mars and Bellona were jointly worshiped. The fiercest passions were kindled at their shrines, and their altars were the only ones that were ever defiled by human sacrifices.
Though so fierce in warfare, Mars was as susceptible to love as were all the immortals; for he was not only the chosen one of golden-haired Venus, but was also the devoted lover of the vestal Rhea Silvia.32 This maiden, being dedicated to the goddess Vesta, did not dare to listen to any words of118 love until her time of service in the temple was over; for the penalty of breaking her solemn vows would be the terrible one of being buried alive. But Mars was not to be denied; so at last the vestal yielded, but kept her marriage secret and continued to live in the temple until the birth of her twin sons Romulus and Remus. When her parents learned that she had failed to keep the sacred promise made at the altar fire of Vesta, they demanded that she should suffer the prescribed punishment. She was therefore taken at night into an underground room of the temple and inclosed in the wall which had been built to allow for just such a tragic event. As her children were declared outcasts, they were taken into the forest and left to perish by the teeth of wild beasts. Romulus and Remus did not die, however; for a she-wolf carried them to her lair and reared them with her own cubs. Later on they were found by a kindly shepherd who took care of them until they grew to manhood. Then they left him, and went out into the world to seek adventures, which soon ended in Romulus killing his brother Remus and himself becoming the founder of Rome.
When this new city was well established, Mars was made its patron deity and protector; and before an army set out on any military campaign the leader would first go into the temple where the sacred shield—the Ancile—hung; and touching it fearfully119 would pray, "Oh, Mars, watch over us." This shield was carefully guarded in Rome, for upon it depended the safety of the city. It was a special token sent by the god of war to show that the people of Rome were under his protection; for once when a plague was raging among them and the dead were numbered by thousands, the Romans fled to the temple of Mars and begged him to help them. As they were praying, a shield fell from the skies into their midst, and a voice told them that as long as this—the sacred Ancile—was with them, no harm could come to Rome. That day the plague ceased, and ever afterward the shield was jealously guarded. To insure its safety, eleven other shields were made so like the Ancile that no one but the Salii, the priests of the temple, knew which it was. These were carried in the streets during the festivals in honor of Mars which were held in March—the month that bears his name; and as the priests bore aloft the shields they sang war-songs and performed rude war dances. Sometimes the shields were displayed on the broad grounds where the soldiers and youths of the city held their exercises. This place was dedicated to the god of war, and was called the Campus Martius, or Field of Mars.
During the war between the gods and giants, Mars was so eager to prove his skill in warfare that he engaged in a fierce battle with Otus and Ephialtes.120 These two giants were only nine years old; but they were already of immense size, as they increased in height at the rate of nine inches every month. The young giants were very proud of having conquered the god of war, and carried him off the battle-field in triumph. They bound Mars with iron chains, and kept a careful guard over him so that none of the gods could set him free. Whenever Mars attempted to escape at night, believing that the giants were asleep, the rattle of the chains woke his guardians, and all hope of rescuing him was over. In this disgraceful bondage the unhappy Mars lingered for fifteen months until Mercury, the prince of thieves, unfastened the chains and restored the god to freedom.
When Cadmus went on his search for his sister Europa, whom Jupiter, in the form of a white bull, had carried off to a distant land,33 the devoted brother was at last bidden to give up his hopeless quest, to settle in the country, later called Bœotia, and to found a city there. Cadmus was glad to rest after his long march, and he sent some of his men in search of a spring. When they did not come back, he sent others to look for them, and when these did not return, he went himself to see what had caused all this delay. He carried his sword in his hand, and also a long spear, for he guessed121 that some disaster had overtaken his men. He wandered some time before he discovered any trace of them, and then at the edge of a forest he came upon the lifeless body of one of those who had first set out to find the spring. As he went farther into the forest he found others of his men, all of them lifeless, and soon he came to a large cave, at the entrance of which bubbled a fountain of purest water.
Not knowing that this was a grove sacred to Mars, and a fountain that had never been polluted by mortal touch, Cadmus stooped to drink, when suddenly, out of the deep shadows of the cave, rushed a huge dragon with crested head and glittering scales and a triple tongue vibrating between triple rows of teeth. This monster, twisting his body into a huge coil, darted toward Cadmus with gleaming fangs; but the young prince dealt his assailant a terrific blow that pierced the dragon in a vital spot, and it rolled over dead upon the floor of the cave. Then Cadmus heard a voice telling him to take out the dragon's teeth and to sow them in the ground where he wished to build his future city of Thebes. As soon as the teeth were sown, a crop of giants in glittering armor sprang up out of the ground, and when they were about to turn their spears upon Cadmus, he again heard the voice—this time bidding him throw a122 stone into the midst of the armed men. This caused a terrific battle to begin among the giants themselves, and soon they were all killed except five who laid down their weapons and offered their services to Cadmus.
As a punishment for the desecration of his grove and the slaying of its sacred guardian, Mars compelled Cadmus to serve him for eight years. At the end of this time the prince was made ruler of the new city of Thebes, and Mars so far forgave the sacrilege of his grove as to give Cadmus his daughter Harmonia in marriage. The career of the new king was very prosperous at first, and Cadmus was supposed to have contributed a great boon to his people by the invention of the alphabet. Later on he incurred the wrath of the gods by forgetting to offer them suitable sacrifices, and both he and his wife Harmonia were changed into serpents.
Just above the city of Athens was a hill called the Areopagus (from the Greek word meaning Mars Hill), which received its name from a famous trial that took place there. Neptune's son had carried off the daughter of Mars; and when the god of war learned of the abduction, he hurried after the daring youth and killed him. Then Neptune demanded that Mars should be punished for his deed of blood; and to decide the matter, both123 were summoned to appear before a court of justice, which was held on the hill above Athens. As it was the custom for all important cases to be tried at night, so that the judges might not be prejudiced by the favorable appearance of either party, the court assembled in the darkness, and Mars told the story of his daughter's capture and his own subsequent revenge. In spite of Neptune's objections to what he considered an unfair verdict, the judges decided in favor of Mars, and he was therefore acquitted. The hill was afterwards called by his name, and the judges of the principal court of justice were always termed areopagitæ.
PART III
Vulcan,34 god of fire and the forge, was not often seen in the halls of Olympus, for he knew that the gods despised him for his ungainly appearance, and he preferred to stay in his own sooty workshop. He had also no desire for the society of his divine parents, since his mother had never shown anything but indifference toward him, and his father had been the cause of his deformity. Jupiter was once so angry with Juno for interfering in his love affairs that he fastened her to the end of a strong chain, and hung her out of heaven. Vulcan, seeing his124 mother in this sad plight, dragged at the chain and finally succeeded in drawing Juno into safety. Full of wrath at this defiance of his wishes, Jupiter kicked his son out of heaven; and as the distance of the fall was so great, it was a whole day and night before Vulcan reached the earth. Had he been a mortal, there would have been nothing left to tell the story of his meteorlike descent; but being a god, he still lived and had only a slight deformity and lameness as the result of his fall. When he learned that Juno was so unconcerned over his fate that she had never even inquired whether he was badly hurt, he would not go back to Olympus, but shut himself up in the heart of Mount Etna, where he established a mighty forge that poured out fire and smoke for many years after.
Vulcan did not forget about his mother's heartless indifference; but none of the gods suspected him of harboring any revenge, until one day a beautiful golden throne arrived in Olympus as a present to Juno from her son. The goddess admired the exquisite designs carved on its polished surface, and seated herself in it proudly. Now Vulcan had contrived to hide some springs in the interior of the throne, and these were so skillfully arranged that the moment a person was seated, the entire structure quickly contracted and held the occupant prisoner. So in a moment proud Juno found herself securely125 caught, and no assistance that the gods could render her was of the least avail. Then Jupiter sent Mercury to the grimy abode of Vulcan to beg politely that the god of fire would honor, with his presence, the feast that was that day to be held in Olympus; but Vulcan was not to be moved by any flattery, for he well knew why he was so much desired at this particular time. So Mercury returned alone to Olympus, and Jupiter was obliged to think of some other device for luring Vulcan from his forge. This time he sent Bacchus, god of wine; and when the scowling deity of Etna saw Bacchus's jolly red face and heard his hearty laugh, he welcomed the jovial visitor and drank freely of the wine that Bacchus poured. The roisterous god of revels, who dearly loved to see good wine flowing, beguiled Vulcan into taking draught after draught of the choice vintage that he had purposely brought, until the sullen master of the forge was unable to tell what was happening, and allowed himself to be led unresistingly to Olympus. Once there the gods persuaded him to release the repentant Juno, and to allow himself to be reinstated in Jupiter's favor.
Though Vulcan grudgingly complied with these requests, he would not consent to live in Olympus, but returned to his workshop in Mount Etna. There he made many things out of gold and precious stones and gave them to the gods as an evidence126 that he no longer bore them any ill will. Their golden thrones were made by Vulcan's crafty hands, and the wonderful palaces, with all their costly furnishings, were the best result of his skill. He also forged Jupiter's thunderbolts and fashioned the weapons that the gods used in battle. He made Apollo's marvelous sun-chariot, and even deigned to use his skill in shaping the arrows that Cupid used in his golden bow.

Finally, it's here! The Magical Boy Bracket round 1! Polls will start being posted hopefully some time this week, with one post every 5 minutes.
Polls will last one week. Any losers for this round will be sent to the losers bracket the week after.
Please be reminded of this very important rule when reblogging or commenting on posts: "Don't be an asshole to me or to anyone else in this tournament, and please no excessive hate towards a specific character or source material. Otherwise, you will be blocked."
Text version for easier understanding under the cut! Has full names of characters, alter ego names where it applies, as well as source titles! (Some longer titles are shown in full the first time they appear, but are then shortened the in their next appearances (which will also be done for the polls). Also, please let me know if I wrote any names or titles wrong.)
