because the reason vampires cant see their reflections (in classic texts) is because mirrors were considered reflections of the soul, and vampires are soulless, which means regardless of what the reflective surface is, they cannot cast an image.

i'm not a snob, i love modern vampires as much as classic vampires, but please remember that classic vampires are soulless monsters, not misunderstood sadboys of the 00s>.

season 9 has been amazing but i’m kinda excited to be around for the beginning of a hermitcraft season, they were well into the empires crossover arc when i started watching double life (which was pretty much my introduction to mcyt in general) so this is gonna be my first time actually being around for the early game

I think Peter's love language is physical touch (like a sign of care and trust, conveying something words cannot etc). Tyty!! So I had the idea that all the patron trolls would get the members of boatem, with Sollux being a weird exception since he was going to be a patron troll before vriska stepped in so he gets impulse and iskall. I had chosen everyone else before I got to kanaya so that left her with pearl! But tbh it’s still a good fit- pearl is still prankstery but she doesn’t go quite as crazy as grian, her builds, imo, are the most beautiful of any hermit’s (because I’m biased towards the natural organic look) so kanaya would appreciate that, and also I feel like she can be even-tempered like kanaya when she needs to be :)
