Here's another short ficlet, this time for Leshy since there isn't much Leshy love out there. He's a good little worm

The One Who Mourns

“Leader, you seem like you’re stressed. Is something the matter?”

The leafed worm heard a familiar voice ask. Most of his followers would wait to be talked to since his loss of eyesight, but not them. This follower was always making sure he was okay. Making sure things were still being taken care of.

They’ve always been like that since they joined his sect of The Old Faith years ago. They were never afraid to ask him things or to chat. Their smile was always a welcome sight to Leshy until he lost his vision. Since then they made time to help him with menial tasks and keep things in line at the temple of his sect.

“The red crown defeated another of my high priests.” He commented. “I fear I must step in soon in order to stop them from advancing further.”

“But… what if… what if the red crown defeats you too? What will happen to us here?” He couldn’t see them anymore, but he could hear them fidget slightly as their words laced with worry.

He knew that that was a possibility. He would be using the power he had left in order to stop that lamb in their tracks, but what if he didn’t succeed? What would happen to his other followers?

“That’s… something I’ve thought about… yes…” he turned his head downward towards the approximate place he could feel their presence, crouching in order to at least try to be smaller in order to comfort his loyal follower. “If that were to happen, I would want you to take care of this place. Don’t allow my name to die with my body and soul. You are my most loyal follower… and what I’m going to do… I would never want you to suffer. So please… my most loyal… promise me that if it comes down to it, you will continue to be loyal even after I am gone.”

There was a pause, soon followed by a choked back sob. “You sound… so absolute in your words.”

Leshy let out a soundless sigh and extended a hand carefully towards them. He let it hover before a smaller pair of hands took it in their own and brought it closer to themselves, pressing their forehead to his palm “but if that’s what you request… I’ll follow your request faithfully.”

A pang of sadness struck the bishop. The possibility of never talking again felt worse than anything he had faced up to that point. They never realized it up to that point, but their most loyal follower being upset by his words yet still promising to follow them hurt him as badly as when he lost his eyesight. He could feel the sting of ichor around what used to be his eyes. He hadn't been able to cry for years yet here he was, upset that they were upset.

His siblings always said he was weaker than themselves when it came to emotional connection, yet that’s why people followed him. He was willing to be vulnerable around his followers before they lost their brother to greed and power. He was always the bishop getting into trickery and prankster trouble. Always fun loving and full of joy. Yet as he felt their sobs against his palm, it dawned on him how much he had changed.

“My most loyal follower… Please don’t cry. There’s no need for such sadness while I’m still around.” He carefully moved his hand to wipe a tear with his thumb. “How about we take some time to enjoy the time we have? You can show me around the new additions to the temple or maybe you would like to go gather flowers from the woods beyond? They’re in full bloom this time of year, are they not?”

He took to bringing them close before starting to walk again. “Those who mourn early miss out on remembering the good of the past and present as they fear for the future and probable outcomes. When the time comes for you to pass on you would rather be celebrated for your accomplishments, yes?”

“W-well yes.. but-“

“Then, my most loyal follower, let’s celebrate what time is left. Mourning has its place, but that is neither here nor there and definitely not the time for that. Until it is time for me to depart, let us take the time to celebrate, the stress will disappear, I promise.”

Their follower was silent, but nodded, wiping more tears away. “I… I suppose so. How about I tell you about those new temple additions?”

“I would want nothing more at the moment.”

“The Red Crown comes for the chain I guard.” Leshy declared to the followers that gathered. “In order to stop them I must use every fragment of power I have left. In order to access that power, a great sacrifice must take place. A life in exchange for power. A life in the name of justice and our faith.”

The followers that gathered started to offer themselves to him as help with his showdown against the lamb who represented The Chained One. Tents were being emptied and giving their belongings to followers staying behind. As they did that, a hand tugged at Leshy’s robe which made him turn his attention to whomever did that. “What do you need? Now isn’t the time to-”

“Great Leader… I have a departing gift for you.” At their words his demeanor softened.

“Of course… I apologize for my tone. What is it, my most loyal follower?”

“Let me see your hand, just real quick.”

Leshy complied, extending a hand to receive what he thought would be a trinket or maybe something they wanted him to feel; instead something was wrapped around his wrist and secured. “It’s not much, but I hope you keep it with you to know I’ll be here praying for your safe return.”

Their words stung him, but he knew they meant well. They’ve talked before about this. They know what to do if he did not return. The most inevitable possibility and one he wished it didn’t come down to. He felt the bracelet with his other hand, the flowers and grass chained together perfectly. “Then I will try not to keep you waiting.”

We all know he's incredibly energetic all the time and that will translate to how he kisses and makes out with you

Not often does he have very soft kisses, but when he does it's when you catch his alone when he's incredibly tired, whether that be waking up with him or finding him/he finds you after a big heist or mission.

Waking up with him is waking up with his limbs everywhere, sprawled out starfish style with an arm smack across your face, or him clinging to you koala style with no hope of escape.

He definitely moves around in his sleep a ton so I hope you're not a light sleeper cause you're gonna get smacked.

He's the kinda guy to fall asleep a normal way and wake up completely upside down with his head where his feet were.

A massive showoff when it comes to the things he makes and his heists, loves showing you all the cool stuff he can do.

Wants Roadhog to like you, and really hopes you guys get along cause you're his two favorite people.

Does get lonely from time to time, and wishes more people would like him (his voiceline w/Bap) and when he gets like this he will get clingy and won't want to leave your side at all.

Absolutely loves listening to you talk about the things that you love and are interested in, and will just fall head over heels if you actually listen to him when he's telling you about his hobbies and stuff and loves when you show a genuine interest in the things he's saying, because nobody else will ever listens to him.

Jean is a very loving guy and absolutely smothers you in it (in a good way). He's a very respectful and attentive guy and will always take care of your boundaries and notice things about you, like the tells for when you're feeling down in anyway.

Speaking of when you're feeling down, out of this list of characters Jean, besides Lucio, is the most attentive. As a man who has suffered through most of his life due to the omnic war, falling into Talon, and the many other things that are unspecified in his lore but one can assume many other terrible things happened due to these events and just in general due to the life he has lived, Jean knows what it is like to suffer, to be depressed and anxious, to be scared and lonely. Whether your problems are smaller or bigger, Jean will always care for you and be there for you during them. Due to the suffering he has endured, Jean wants nothing more than to keep the people around him safe, and help them when he can.

Very flirty with you, just a huge flirt. Loves it when you flirt back but if you get flustered he finds it absolutely adorable.

If you get hurt he's all over you, worrying about your health if you're injured. When you go on missions he's worried when you go out of his sight but he knows you're strong enough to hold your own. When you get back he gives you the biggest hug ever and makes sure you're still absolutely safe.

Sleeping with Jean is sweet. He prefers to be the big spoon, he loves being the one to hold you, it plays in to his protective side, but if you wanted he would be open to you being the one to hold him.

My Overwatch headcanons part 1

(Please respect my headcanon there just headcanons) Also this took hours for me to do my ppor hands TvT

Lifeweaver/Niran Pruksamanee

He smells like dew and fresh leafs from the tree's, he has this nice scent to him which is very sweet but not too sweet.

My boy hate's styling his hair since it's so long but he manages to take good care of it even though it's a hassle for him.

He's very close to Sym but loves to bother her once in awhile but know's she can put up with his non-sense even though he tends to do the most craziest thing ever.

Niran love's his parents very much but honestly he wish that would would understand why he's on the run than bother him of coming home or turning his long life project in to Vishkar.

Enjoys the company of both Hanzo and Sym since he grew to bond with them but it's also nice to have someone to talk too.(bonus points there tea friends)

Loves teasing others, mainly he doesn't even realise he's teasing people until later on since he sometimes doesn't even know if he's teasing or not.

He tends to listen to some of Lucio music and give his input in by giving him some advice but so far he has no complaints about his music.

There are times were he will accidentally life grip the wrong person even though, he was suppose to pull someone else to safety but if he pulled the wrong person who happened to be in front of him as he apologised none stop but will get mad at the person he was suppose to pull for charging in blindly.

He misses his sibblings and parents but does write letters to them saying that he's still alive and well.

Him and Symmetra are still gossip buddies since he would spill some of the tea that he knows.

His date with Bap went better than expected but he might go on another dinner date with him again.

People assume he's a vegan but in reality he isn't but doesn't eat too much meat he'll have once in awhile but not everyday.

His favourite food is mainly Pumpkin coconut soup, usually his mother knows how to make it but he can replicate it with no problem.

He and Hanzo are pen pals..That's it their just pen pals.(but there secret besties)

People often tend to mistake his kindness for flirtatiousness which happens almost all the time.

Know's that the others hate when he grips them to safety even though it's for there own good since there a bit reckless(mainly Genji and Rein)

He may not look like a person who enjoys bugs but he does, he probably picked up a few of them and showed them to his parents when he was younger and maybe as well towards Sym when they were room mates much to her dismay since he finds him interesting.

While he was room-mate's with Sym he was very well organize but whenever he was working on his project he would go on a no sleep streak just to get it done (Sym had to convince him to get his beauty sleep)

Has his own skin care routine (You cannot tell me he doesn't have his own skin care routine)

In his spare time he enjoys to meditate with either Zenyatta or Hanzo since he enjoys there company.

He's known for stealing food from the fridge but as of right now he's the one who steal Hanzo cake in the middle of the night and watches the chaos ensues as Hanzo accuses a few people who had eaten his cake.(Has thrown Kiriko under the bus once or twice to save himself from Hanzo wrath)

Love's to eat spicy food and enjoys seeing people reaction since he doesn't look like the type of person who enjoys spicy food.

He has ADHD.

Hate's Vishkar with a passion and wishes that his dear friend Satya would understand his whole point of how Vishkar isn't meant to help people.(Which is another reason why he"Graduated early")

He and Ashe bond a bit on their parental issue's/trauma to one another even though there almost similar it's different in there own way.

Has a sassy attitude when things tends to go south depending on how the mission goes.

He and Hanzo are close but not that close unlike Satya since he knew her longer than Hanzo.

Enjoys playing horror games even though he may not look like the person who enjoys it .

He actually worries for Moria, since he doesn't like that fact she's killing herself all in the name of science just to help others, Even though he knows what she's doing is wrong.

Completely understands Baptiste point of few for Cassidy since he too finds the cowboy very attractive as well

Ana Amari

She has regrets on being a horrible mother to Fareeha ever since she basically disappeared but moreover she just abandoned her daughter and wishes to make amends with her

Ana doesn't feel anger towards Amelie (Widowmaker) as she shot out her eye, she has no ill will towards her in all honestly she feels upset on what happen to her that she couldn't save her

Is actually proud of Cole and does see him as her son since he was close to her as well as Fareeha.

Will never forget the day when Cole called her mom once while she was teaching him how to shoot, it actually made her very emotionally (has never let him forget it but only when there alone)

Is under a ton of stress since she worries for both Jack and Gabe, since she wants too help them but knows that there going to refuse her help since both men are very stubborn.

She does have feeling's for Rein but is worried that it might not last for them since both of them are old but mainly she worries for Rein's well being since one wrong move might be fatal for him.

She really does see herself in Kiriko mainly when she was younger and in her prime but still Kiriko is a bit reckless but is learning along the way like she did.

Really really want's to go to Fiji and enjoy her retirement but knows that she can't but only in her dreams can she relax on the beach.

When Junkrat asked her to be his mother figure it's not that she didn't want too adopt him but it's mainly the fact he'll ask to many question. Which will cause her a headache or worse she might put him to sleep if need be, cause she already has too many kids to watch after (mainly Cole and her daughter)

She's really proud of Fareeha but is very worried about her safety even though she knows Fareeha knows what she's doing.

Hopes that one day Fareeha would forgive her but knows that it'll take time when she's ready to forgive her.

Is grateful that since Genji move's around it really does keep her sharp in battle since clearly Genji is the best target for her(Though she won't tell him that since he might run away from her)

Has secretly adopted Hanzo because she knows how that he needs someone to talk too.(She also adopted Genji too)

As much as she adores Cole he sometimes get's a bit on her nerves but know he does it in the goodness of his heart and she knows that but she's too old to have competition with him on who's the better shot.(She know's she'll beat him so she's sparing him the embarrassment)

Worries about Jack but will always have his back till the end even if it maybe stupid she care's about him cause someone needs to get him out of trouble.

Is very tired and exhausted mentally and emotionally but puts up a front.

She enjoys having tea with either Hanzo or Sym but sometimes having the both of them over for tea is really relaxing for her.

Wants to help Gabe but knows that deep down he'll refuse it and it honestly hurts her since she cares about him after finding out he was alive all those years.

Basically is a babysitter to the newer recruits and always tell them to make time for themselves too relax but sometimes it tends to go over there heads.(Which reminds her of herself when she was in her prime)

Like she says hates being feared since it really hurts her since all she wanted was respect from others than fear, since it has taken a toll on her since she'll forever be known as the world deadliest sniper and nothing more just a killer.

Angela Ziegler

Is sleep deprived 24/7 and runs on energy drinks and strong coffee

Wants to help Widowmaker since she notice that a bit of her emotions are coming through but knows she can't get too close she just needs to find the right timing.

She really enjoys Genji and Fareeha company since she does tend to over work herself and they always help her out by taking her to bed.

Swiss Chocolate is her favourite but she also like milk/dark chocolate too .

Would always throw away Cassidy cigar packs but would tend to find more, which annoys her because she doesn't want him to smoke anymore.

Enjoys Zenyatta company since she wants to know how his healing works but also the fact he help Genji out more than she ever could and wishes she could have done more to help him.

Is very pissed off at Moria for her unethical medical style for "Healing " Reyes and Widowmaker by making them suffer in pain

Wishes that Gabriel would have went to her if he was suffering/ help him out with the pain he's dealing with so she can end the pain.

She has doubts that she isn't the best doctor moreover she regrets not seeing the signs that were in front of her before the fall of Overwatch.

People assumed that she resents Hanzo for killing Genji but she doesn't she actually feels bad for him since she heard him cry a few times during the night from night terrors(She talks to him during times where he wake's up from his night terrors and sits with Hanzo comforting him to the best of her abilites)

Knows she overworks herself but she can't help it since she feels like she failed so she pushes herself to work even harder were she sometimes forget to eat and sleep.

She's grateful that Genji and Fareeha will always look out her even Cassidy too though she wishes he would still stop smoking.

Moira O'Deorain

Is sleep deprived and runs on coffee as well as spite so she ends up looking very not healthy or in the best shape.

Has chronic pain in her arm but deals with it since it's only a minor setback with her experiments.

Finds joy in others misery since it makes her happy.

Loves to bring up the fact that Genji is not saint since he agreed with her that Reyes did the right thing by killing Antonio.

She and Angela tends to but heads a lot but has respect for Angela even though in the end Reyes went to her and not Angie.

She won't admit it but she does miss Cole company but still finds him annoying as ever.(Though she won't admit it too him)

Finds Lifeweaver enduring and clearly she wants to learn more about his bio-lights than ever(Much to her delight he doesn't tends to run off but also dismay that he wants her too stop experimenting on herself)

Has own a few pet bugs mainly hissing roaches since there amazing and very calm animals but owned a few pet mice and rats in her youth.(Bonds with Lifeweaver about her hissing roaches)

Thinks science is more better than medicine and will die on this hill with that statement no matter the cost.

Is tried of hearing Gabriel complain about being in consent pain so she just gave him pain killers to shut him up about it but knows it only work just a bit but it'll at least keep him quiet, Since she is actually working on a way to end his pain she just needs more time.

The tests she runs on Sigma are more brain waves activity wise.(Sombra is keeping an eye on her and she knows it)

Doesn't care if people find her experiments unethical they always get the job done for her no matter how dire the consequences are, even if it means she dies in the end.

Honestly wishes that she would have given Genji a proper body than the bare minimum that Angela did.

Has a bug collection plus has a book about different types of bugs as well.(Mainly the ones that have venom )

Zenyatta Tekhartha

Zenyatta even though he speaks in a calm voice deep down there's a huge amount of regret for things he wish or said.

He's grateful that he met Genji and he wouldn't have it any other way, he also finds the Genji is his favourite student(even though he does feel disappointed in him sometimes)

Zenyatta just enjoys pranking the others about what he did before he awoken after the crisis since too doesn't have a clue what he did so he made a few lies.

He care's deeply for Ramattra and knows that he cares for him too but he wishes he would stop on this destructive path he's on.

He finds it funny that Ramattra and Genji bicker with each other but keeps an eye on them in case if they do anything stupid to one another(Had to separated them since it getting a bit tense)

By all means he isn't a pacifist, but he does fight when its necessary(Though he has bruised Jack ego while sparring with him which was funny)

He enjoys spending time with Genji since Genji also saved him but won't admit it too him.

Zen is willing enough to help Genji brother Hanzo out since he has his door open for the elder Shimada but just like Genji when he first met him refused his offer but he knows within time Hanzo will come to him when he's ready so he's not forcing him.

He has no idea why he floats he just finds it cool.

Has actually broken down in anger and mourn for Mondatta after he heard the news his brother was killed. That will be the only time he felt true anger.

He thanks Angela for saving Genji but also encourages her that she did a good job on saving his brightest student.

Always is willing to listen too someone issues since he doesn't mind that they also vent to him.

He has wished he knew what he did before the crisis but to him it'll forever be a mystery that not even he could solve, he hopes that the Iris will tell him.

Deep down he knows Cole is suffering in silence but doesn't want to push him to talk, he knows that Cole can come too him when he needs too or when Cole requests it too him. (He knows that if he approaches Cole, he'll lie to him stating that he's fine)

He enjoys gardening with Symmetra and likes her company along with her friend Niran, their such nice people.

Kiriko Kamori

Enjoys annoying others mainly to get a rise out of them since she enjoys it.

Does see that Genji and Hanzo as older brothers and cares deep for them.

Is actually mad at Hanzo for leaving since she thought he died along with Genji when the Hashimoto took over Kanezaka and Hanamura after he left but doesn't know the whole story that it got dismantled by Overwatch

She doesn't know what happened to Genji as Hanzo won't even tell her(She thinks it was the Hashimoto clan whom brutally attacked Genji)

Loves every single type of donuts, she mainly eats them all the time even though it bad for her

She writes to her mom keeping her updated and making sure she is safe, even though she knows her mom can handle herself she doesn't want her getting hurt.

Her mom gave her a fox plushie when she was little and she still has it too this day even though Pharah makes fun it, it keeps her company knowing that her mom is keeping her company even though she's far from home

Writes too her friends as well making sure that they keep tabs on the Hashimoto but also writes down on other things they need too do which still hasn't happened yet which is arson

Doesn't understand why Hanzo won't pick up the sword and she'll never know since Genji is also keeping her in the dark about it as she asked him why.

She named the Kitsune Yanagi (Willow)

Has encourage Hanzo and Genji too name their dragons but doesn't know that they already did when they got them

Is besties with Brigitte,D.va, and Tracer. She really enjoys their company

Knows she needs to take things slow but too her slow is boring and doesn't get anything done

She learnt JSL when she met Akari which she practiced too the point she knows how to start off a conversation. She also started learning ASL as well, but also convinced Genji and Hanzo too do JSL

Wants too be friends with Illari but always gets avoid by her too the point where Hanzo tells her too stop to which she does(She's jealous of Hanzo because he and Illari talk to one another)

She's also jealous of Brigitte since she also became friends with Illari and asks how did she do it too which Brigitte tells her she has no idea

Has ask Lifeweaver for his skin care routine since she get's acne and acne scars too, she was disappointed when he told her to stop eating donuts

Find's Widowmaker such a buzz kill though has always wondered why her skin was blue

She thinks Hanzo has a crush on Cole, she's there number 1 shipper too the point were she actually tries to set them up on date's

Has stayed up all night with D.va just too play video games with her mainly horror games.

She finds Cole interesting but doesn't want to get on his bad side since he has gotten mad at D.va before in front of her.

Worries about her father every day and prays that he'll be alive the next day

Care's deeply for both Hanzo and Genji but tries her hardest not to bother them too much even though she has so many questions on what happened to them and where they went

Brigitte Lindholm

Brigitte is socially awkward when it come's meeting new people, but she's slowly getting better at it

Love's her mother apple pie and knows how too make it

She's a daddy's girl, she loves her dad but tends to worry about him about taking a break

Goes to Hanzo for some criticisms when she writes her poetry since she looks up too him for any creative ideas .

She's forever grateful that Kiriko introduced her too Hanzo, but is also grateful that she met Kiriko since she matches her energy too when they spar

Is Lucio number 1 fan but is scared to ask for an autograph from him but knows that he'll sign one for her she just doesn't know how to approach him for one.

Has taken in stray cats, much too her father and mother dismay but none the less she take's pride in her children.

The first time she adopt Mitiz, was when Mitiz was a stray kitten that she took in and cried begging her dad and mom to adopt her since Mitiz was sick.

She does find dogs cute and adorable as her siblings has a few of them but she more of a cat person than anything

Has a small crush on D.va and Kiriko but won't tell them since that's too embarrassing

Finds that Genji is a big baby when they spar, since she honestly thinks she didn't even hit him that hard(Even though she cracked his visor a bit)

She basically has to tell Rein too slow down since he's not in his prime anymore though he some how manages to convince her that he isn't which makes them spar

Has a major sweet tooth

Her cheat days contain donuts, apple pie and candies. She's trying to cut it back hint the word trying

Plays video games with D.va along side with Kiriko but usually just watches them play but is the back seat gamer trying to help them either get pass a level or point out the clues that is in front of them even though it frustrates her since they don't notice

Baptiste has a few regrets on what he's done too Mauga but he had to leave since Mauga always brought out the worse in him

He won't denied the fact that he still has a crush on Cole since how could he not, but he let Lifeweaver know about this but was shocked when his new bf agreed with him that Cole is good looking.

Was surprised when Lifeweaver asked him out on a date and is excited to have another date with him too, apparently they're going to have another soon

The only people he's truly scared of from Talon are Sombra and Widowmaker

He worries about Lifeweaver and Mauga meeting for the first time since he has no idea how Mauga would actually react upon meeting Lifeweaver. and he knows that Mauga won't kill him which is what scares him the most.

He's honestly surprised that no one has figured out that he used to work for Talon and he has Cole to thank for that.

After taking care what you needed to do y/n couldn’t help but find himself running into Ghost more often it wasn’t on purpose, but even time you ran into him you’d give him a friendly smile and a small hello most of time y/n didn’t get anything back in return to his small jesters.

Who might that be no other than Captain Price himself. It wasn’t ideal to go to a captain for something silly like this but it was killing you inside you cared for Ghost a little too much. Price wasn’t pleased, Gaz didn’t really care, Soap was worried, he had Ghost confess late at night that he loved c/n and how it scared him. Soap went to Ghost and had a long talk with him ending up getting through to him that he fucked up and need to go talk to c/n.

Eventually when Ghost tried to talk to an apologies it was clear that the damage was done, he wasn’t met with your warm smile and bright eyes that he loved but a look that made him upset c/n looked like a kicked puppy. Before c/n could walk away Ghost grabbed his wrist only to be met with you trying to get out of his grip eventually he let go.” I’m sorry”. Ghost said. You couldn’t believe it, all you got was a sorry, the man in front of you not only yelled insults at you but he also kicked you multiple times and all you got was a sorry.”I’m sure you are please go away”. You responded.” I’m sorry I hurt you and yelled I’m really sorry I lashed out… I was scared”. Ghost didn’t meet your eyes.” Are you sorry lieutenant? I was just worried about you and you responded like I did the worst thing to you”. As much as you loved him you tried to push it down. what's the right word?

my first kpop group was snsd when they first released gee back in 2009/2010 and i was 9/10.

i've been stuck in this hole of 'kpop' since. i turn 24 in april. thats more than half my life.

growing up in a conservative asian family and the elder daughter of two teachers, it's not easy to explain the grievances and troubles i feel like i've experienced. some might not even consider it a terrible thing. yes, i've had a good standard of education and had parents who took care of me but sometimes the challenge was truly connecting with people and finding an emotional support.

nobody else can replicate and/or understand the true depth of the love, admiration, inspiration and reliance a fan has on her favourite idols/groups. throughout the years, i've gone through the eras. going from the snsd/shinee/suju era, and then into the bts/exo/vixx/bap era, and then blackpink/red velvet/wanna one/nct and then i feel like my life had a significant trajectory in the 2019-2020 period because i started dancing.

after having spent a decade being so invested in the idol culture of perfecting every single performance, pushing past boundaries and the idea of 'not being enough' being the exact source of motivation, perhaps picking up cover-dancing wasn't the best idea. especially when i come in a package with a bunch of baggage, anxiety, stress, and other perfectionist ideals.

throughout the years before 2019/2020, my reliance on my kpop idols was emotional. i wrote letters to them like they were my best friends, wished them the best of health and that they were always enough, while wishing i was as good as they were (ironic?). to my past loves: sooyoung, donghae, minho, jonghyun, jungkook, baekhyun, kang daniel, irene, jaehyun and the other members who have helped me through alot - i owe my life to them. quite literally.

tbz and enhypen have a special place in my heart. because not only did they become the usual emotional support pillars i had all the while, they became my mentors. an actual source to learn and be better. enhypen even more, because i've covered at least 5-6 of their items.

this growth in myself and the growth i see in them was so quiet but so sudden last night as i filmed their performances. 'oh my god, i danced to this song back in 2022 and now i get to see it live?'

as a fan, i feel more emotional because not only am i a fan who enjoys their music, i feel like i had connected to them on the 'stage performer' level and though i'm still lacking in many, many ways, i owe my progress and improvement to enhypen. they push me both mentally and physically during practises and their want to surpass themselves always reminds me that love knows no boundaries. the love for the stage and the love to be the best version of yourself.

i'm quite sure there's some psychological term for it, when you rely on someone who doesn't know you exist, and that you gain energy just from this person's existence.

the story is much, much longer but i could write a whole fic about it if i wanted to.

i could write a billion words about you, and it would still not be enough to share how much of my life, my success, my motivation, my strength i owe to you. the love between a fan and an idol can only go so far, but i promise it will be forever.

i have a knack for choosing the members who seem to be the 'ace' of the group, but you are so unapologetically open about being a perfectionist. that's just my opinion. you know you want to be at your best, and you strive so hard to get there, sometimes i almost feel sad that you think you're not yet perfect. but then again, that's the very thing that makes me look up to you.

saw you for the first time and probably the last time last night. thank you for reigniting this want to surpass myself in every way possible. thank you for reminding me that lacking is the only way up.

(Like absurd meaningless things but still a part of their character, I personally just think those are some of the funniest/interesting headcannons sometimes)

I mean a lot of the time, certain things just kind of pop up organically in the process of writing fic. I'm not really in the habit of trying to tack things on to characters to make them more interesting, so much as extrapolating from canon to highlight what is interesting about them and how they contrast against the rest of that cast. So with that in mind...

with that out of the way i guess if you didn't know already lol !! they are my podcast ocs !!! i'm in the works of creating a horror <3 podcast that takes place in an amusement park with 5 main characters and a god <3

so this post here explains a lot about the main characters personalities and stuff and the tags #brickwoods and #bap on my tumblr have some other posts related to the crew <3 recently i've been doing some extra stuff for fleshing out their families who will eventually be showing up in podcast and i can do a quick over view of them here tho <3

oh and not necessarily crew related but the length of podcast <333 imma ramble about that for a sec <3 so season 1 is going to be all amusement park stuff and the last episode of that season will be a major plot point/death (sorta setting the darker/more dramatic scene for s2) s2 is also amusement park shenanigans however now that the stakes have been raised the rest of the cast is pretty scared now yk. but they have still their motivations for wanting to get out and so <3

s3 is going to be after our final girl rebecca escapes the park and tries to a) sorta solve why that happened in the first place (why them. who is the god etc etc) and b) try to give closure to the others families so yeah. plus some other plots things yk <3

and then s4 will most likely be rebecca trying to stop/take down the cult because she doesn't want something like this to happen again and the ending is in workshop <33 (aka i can't decide between like. a couple possible endings i have planned but main plot won't change despite which one i eventually choose :))

so david <3 ae is an only child with 2 moms, they are very sweet and amazing and extremely Extremely heartbroken when david never comes home after the park and stuff. they definitely had like plans for college visits and they had a car ready for when david was going to get aer license. the two of them are going to be pretty sad to write for in s3 i think but also i love them as characters (i was posting about them like last week lol they are very cute and fun when they arent sad </3)

hmm sophia's family <3 so her dad was born into the cult when it was a bit less strict (he was 'home-schooled' by the cult but also was allowed out bc his family is a main influential family) and her mom married in. they aren't the nicest parents by a long shot, and they only respect sophia because she became the leader. sophia does have a sibling however she doesn't know about them bc their parents kept them separate in order not to 'taint' sophia's godly touch

rebecca's family doesn't have too much going on, it is also an only child and her parents have been active in her life, not as great/caring as davids parents yet not uncaring either. rebecca really just lived with them her whole life and doesn't totally feel like it connected with its parents in any important way tbh

sunni ! so sunni grew up with only his mom and his sister and after the incident with carter (wait did i tell yall that was her name yet. thats the mutual best friends name in case i Didnt say that already <3) sunni's sister Mary ended up moving out with a friend and not keeping in touch with sunni or their mom again. she also changed her last name as soon as she legally could. but yeah so sunni doesn't have a very close relationship with his mom either and he has no relationship with his sister anymore which upests him a lot but he also keeps this close to him

and blair <3 so blair has 2 brothers (twins age 10 (i think)) named ben and bruno (named by My twin siblings so) and their parents are pretty bad. blair is very protective of their younger brothers and has been trying for a while to save up enough to move all of them out but hasn't quite yet. they fight really hard in the park to try and get out because they do not want to leave their brothers with out someone else to help and be there with them.

The One Who Helped Him

Such a daunting task for one lamb to run a cult. A cult once created for the god of death only to turn into one of worship for the one who saved each follower that came to his fold. With the Old Faith diminished, a new one was brought forth, one that took some followers to get used to, but most seemed to adapt nicely to it.

Everyone had a job to perform. Each follower a role to play, save for one.

They never seemed to have much to do save for watching their leader run off into the unknown only to come back later, sometimes with a few bumps and bruises, other times bleeding and seemingly at deaths door. Those days they would rush to his side and help him get to the medical bay, there they would dress his wounds and listen to his mutterings as he passed out. The crown on head head would always detach itself from its perch and look at the follower, seemingly unblinking, yet watching. It freaked them out at first, but after time and time again of coming back to the flock hurt and needing to rest it became almost routine to handle it with care and place it nearby for when Lambert would wake up.

The followers within the sanctum of where it all began could say that they were something of a doctor or nurse for the sect, yet they would always shake their head.

“I’m just glad to help where I can.” They would always reply. That seemed to satisfy the curiosity of others for a time.

After getting back from their most recent venture and being put on bed rest, their follower noticed how much more… chaotic the sect was. Sure, sometimes Lambert would pass out on his journeys only to be dumped back at the steps of the temple. He would always brush off the question as to why with ‘I was just tired’, but their follower could tell he was lying through his teeth. They were sure a few other followers caught onto that too.

Mutterings filled the camp about unfulfilled requests and worry started to form in the pit of their stomach. The lamb did so much for them, someone should pay it forward before something were to happen. 

Rolling up their sleeves, they got to work. Their first stop was where the beds were situated. A few had collapsed due to heavy rainfall from the night prior, but they’d watch them be built a few times, so it would be an easy task. The next thing on the list was feeding the sect. Given their leader would usually cook when he could, most preferred to fast until he was in charge of cooking. That was no good especially after two days of him being gone and most likely needing to recover for the rest of the week after his newest batch of injuries. 

They counted out the bowls, flipped the recipe book open and got to work collecting the ingredients needed for cooking. It took them roughly an hour or so, but soon, hot bowls of fresh and hearty soup was dished out and the meal bell was rung. They made sure everyone had their fill before having their own bowl of what remained. Once dishes were cleaned and stored once more, they went to their next set of tasks.

Going from one follower to another, asking for their requests and doing their best to fulfill them in their leaders place, it took almost all day, but once they were complete, they flopped down on the ground with a sigh of relief… that was until something nudged their foot and they looked up to see a deer follower staring down at them.

“O-oh. Good evening, Keim. What can I help you with?”

“You’ve been busy today.” They stated.

“W-well, yes, someone should be helping our wonderful leader out while he rests.”

“Then you wouldn’t mind helping me with something?”

They sat up. “Well no, but-”

“Excellent, I need you to fetch me some mushrooms from Anura.” They interrupted. “Usually I would ask our leader to… but since you’re substituting for him, it should be nothing you cannot handle.”

A chill ran down their spine. They hadn’t really been out of the sanctum since they were rescued from being sacrificed in The Silk Cradle. Even then, they weren’t a fighter, they could never-

“I-I’ll do my best, Keim.” The deer smiled brightly.

“Perfect! Thank you very much!”

“Oooh… I should have said no…” Armed with nothing save for a dagger, the follower had ventured through the gateway towards the mushroom filled biome that once housed the godly bishop of famine. Since she was vanquished, the biome became more hostile and bloodthirsty. Residents turned against one another, the frogs and bugs tearing into whomever dared cross into their line of sight, it was hell to hear about from those brought into the fold.

Keim needed ten mushrooms, yet they were only able to collect four so far. Night had fallen and the forest was dark, which made advancing even more difficult. How their leader proceeded onward through here when the mushrooms seemed to be alive with those sacrificed in the name of Heket was beyond their understanding.

A crunching of leaves behind them caused them to still for a second, only to dart forward in fear, whatever was behind them giving chase. Tears picked at the corners of their eyes as they did their best to weave through the forest, but a root out of place and hidden by a pile of leaves caused them to trip. Their dagger skidded off into the darkness as they rolled to a stop. With a groan, they tried getting up, only to be kicked back onto their back.

“Who told you you could stand, heretic?” Came a gravely voice above them, cracking open their eyes, the follower saw hooded figures, followers of Heket. Starved followers of Heket. “You aren’t welcome here, lamb follower…”

“I-I’m sorry. I’ll… I’ll go-”

“Leave? No no. You came to our glorious leader’s domain… Her physical body is gone, but she looks down upon us and smiles as she’s gifted us a glorious meal.”

Their eyes widened. “No… no no no, I’m not a meal. I won’t let you eat me!”

Dagger raised, a twisted smile formed on the starved ones face. “Heket, our glorious leader. Goddess of famine, we thank thee for this tasty morsel. May they fill our bellies and-” They didn’t get to finish their prayer as they were blasted off the follower with a ball of divine energy. Lambert’s follower coward as the sounds of fighting happened around them, but just as it started, it fell silent. When they sat up and opened their eyes, they saw the lamb, bandaged still with new wounds causing blood to soak into their dressings, but upright and panting, an axe in their outstretched hand as charred remains surrounded them. A wondrous sight to behold if it wasn’t for the circumstances.

The axe reformed into the crown that sat atop his head and he turned, hobbling over to them and outstretching his hand to them. “You’re either crazy, brave, or stupid to venture out here alone. What are you doing out here, my lost sheep?”

They took his hand and were pulled to their feet. “G-great Leader, I-... I was just trying to help you a-and complete some requests for some of the others back at the temple and-” He pulled them into a hug.

“What you did was almost get yourself killed.” He replied. “I do appreciate the help, I do… but you mean quite a lot to me and I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you.”

His words caused his follower to blush. “I…I mean that much to you.”

“You have no clue how much you mean to me… but please… leave the journeying into hostile biomes to me… okay?”

Their follower returned their hug, burying their face into the soft wool of Lambert. “I…I promise… as long as you take the time to get better.”

“Deal.”

Jrwitober Day 11- Ghost

An AU where William and Ashe are ghost hunters and Dakota and Vyncent are ghosts.

Winters and Co have been unsuccessfully running for a good few months failing to get many clients as ghost hunters and sleeping in Ashe’s dads basement before they find The House. It’s old, dark, and derilict, only being sold for so cheap because it would cost more for the owners to tear it down. It reeks of mildew and old memories, with every floorboard feeling like it’s either covering a body or about to fall into itself.

It’s perfect.

They make their home as cosy as can be in their situation, and by week 2 it actually feels liveable (and they stop falling through said floorboards). There’s only one problem.

There’s something in the house.

It would feel like they actually found a ghost, but 1. Non of their equipment picked them up, and 2. If they’re real ghosts, they’re really shit at their job. Sure, you get the occasional door slam in no wind, or things falling off of crumbling shelves. Even after the lighting got put in, there was a slight flicker. But the house is old, there’s no pattern or reason to suggest anything other than just a normal case of an old house getting older, and a couple months in, with Ashe taking his qualifications to join his dad’s electrical company and William getting a new job with no ghostly perks, it feels almost time to give up.

Enter ghosts.

Dakotas been trying, really he has. But sometimes it feels like even vyncent does more to spoon the newcomers, and Vyncent does next to nothing on purpose. Either way, it’s been so long since Dakota saw anyone that at this point he just needed to try and connect with them, even if it doesn’t work.

Eventually they meet each other, bing bong bap friendship, but where’s the plot without some good old Dakota angst and Clueless VyncentTM.

3. how do you get yourself out of a writing funk?

Honestly? I just wait until my brain feels like writing again. My head is kinda weird like that. If I don't feel like writing for [insert hyperfixation], then my brain usually switches to [other hyperfixation]. It's just... always wanting to do something! But every now and again it's like flipping a switch on that might turn other switches off and... yeah, you get the ADHD interest hopping, lmao.

The only times I REAAALLY get into a funk is times where I'm super stressed out abt something upcoming and I just have to sit out that storm and wait for it to pass in order for me to be able to focus on writing ANYTHING at all.

10. talk about your writing

Oh gosh, uhhh... Honestly? I think I've come to love my writing as of late! I know when I started back in the RPC like, one or two years ago that I was HORRIBLY rusty like eugh I was not hitting those notes at all for a hot minute. But that's also because I was also making some moves irl and I was juggling that at the same time (still kinda am rn! but handling it better).

Now I'm like, I kinda see how others write? And I've adjusted accordingly and I've stopped kind of overcompensating in my sentences (kinda thanks to ENG Comp rn for helping bap that bad habit out of me) and I've started to loosen up to have fun. I'm happy with my inclination to some memey humor and actual serious writing! One of my biggest things I wanna do is spruce up on my horror and suspense cause I can do that in art, but text? Hoo boy it's a lot harder than I thought it'd be. I'm gonna make it one of my goals for this summer!

19. describe love

Love is something warm. Like, wrapping yourself in a blanket when it's 30 degrees F outside and you really don't wanna go outside so you're vibing inside. It's also when you tell folks that you care about them, when you hold them accountable, when you build them up... it's a lot of things, really.

Weird thing is, in my family it's a super complicated concept. To my family, it's hugs and kisses, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and accidentally fueling bad habits just for the sake of making that person happy because you love them. But that's not right. Sometimes, love has to sting a little bit, even if you don't want to hear a harsh truth about yourself or maybe about some people you surround yourself with. It's not bashing and belittling or tearing you apart, it's grabbing you by the shoulders, sitting you down so that you can open your eyes to that pitfall you almost just stepped into.

It's so much more than giving people you love what they want. It's giving the ones you love what they need. That's Love :)

I've been really stressed and feeling under pressure for the past several weeks, so it's honestly best for all parties involved that I don't drag that into your inbox (I'll be fine, it's just that perfectionistic tendencies don't tend to mix well with heavy work loads; it's unpleasant but it's a good learning experience for me about just doing what I can/good enough). Looking forward to it being over with in a few weeks.

Other than that, I guess I recently realized how many different aliases I have in this fandom (I haven't connected any of them to each other and I plan to keep it that way, I'm still a socially anxious mess after all 🫠). Bapping prompts and ideas over to various people and seeing what they do with it is just interesting to me. Maybe it's egotistical of me, but I enjoy seeing what people think of my ideas and then how they make it their own if it happens to strike their fancy.

Anywho, that's enough rambling from me (aka I feel like I have been talking too much and am chickening out until my spine comes back 😅). I look forward to seeing what you write next, be it a drabble, headcanons, answering one of my asks, answering someone else's ask, or something else entirely. We're all here to enjoy a shared interest after all.

Favorite painter: Edward Burne-Jones. The heavy, mythic luxury of the Pre-Raphealite aesthetic always compels me, but I'm going with EBJ in particular because of The Beguiling of Merlin.

Favorite writer: All in all, probably Diana Wynne Jones. I read her early enough that she became a formative part of my psyche and writing dream but not early enough that I copied too much of her style to the point where it sometimes felt like thinly veiled fanfic (cough like with Robin McKinley cough).

Favorite band: For western music, Bastille; there are so many songs of theirs I adore. For Kpop, a toss-up between WayV and TXT.

Favorite meal and drink: Meal would be either a full Korean spread with galbi and tons of banchan and japchae and sticky bap OR Italian pasta with garlic and roasted tomatoes and basil. Drink is always black tea with milk and sugar.

Favorite outfit aesthetic: Dark academia. Love me a collared shirt under a sweater.

Favorite singer: Taemin, probably? Or Sufjan Stevens. Love me a queer-coded guy who talks about love and sex and God in the same terms.

Favorite item I own: I have to say my pair of heeled Doc Martin boots that I bought during senior year simply to impress a girl. It worked! And I got a fabulous pair of shoes out of it.

Favorite possession: IDK how this is different from the above but in terms of ownership? For another answer, I adore a typewriter-style keyboard that I (also) got during senior year...as you might be able to tell, I processed my graduation/grad school app stress with an unhealthy amount of retail therapy.

Favorite perfume: Never wear it.
