Lola and Jay approached that entire situation like they'd decided to adopt a dog or something. And no, Ben didn't overreact. It was poorly thought out and not a rational request. Even Callum was put out by it, and he's the sensible one! Hopefully this is all just leading to Lo finding out about Ben's assault because its too dumb to contemplate otherwise

So Ben and Callum look like they will be spending some time apart. As the characters interact with other characters. If going with the spoilers, Callum has some police story and Ben has boxing with Phil.

Is it odd that I’m happy about this?

Look being a couple and spending time together as a couple great.

But we are not a sum of our other half.

There are other people in our lives, and since Stuart, Rainie, Vi, and Mick left. Callum has been with mostly Ben and Ben’s lot. That’s not a bad thing, but Callum does have a life outside of Ben.

So seeing Callum working with Jack (unfortunately) and Denise and others is good to see. Have Callum have ties/interactions with a lot of the other characters in the Square.

I don’t know the legality of custody arrangements in the UK, but if the PR can’t be finalized for six weeks, and Lola is going to die on the 31st, then that means the PR dies with her, right? Jay can’t get PR if he’s no longer married to Lola because she’s dead?

The hypocrisy is real. Callum literally cheated on Whitney to get with Ben. Would I have wanted either of them to be kissing someone else once they were married? Hell no. But sober Ben on an even keel would not even dream of going there… I don’t see this as cheating as such because the demons are already in control in Ben’s head.

They were rooting for a more explicit affair between Ben and Callum too.

Idk i hate cheating storylines, but I really don't think that's what we're getting.

Looking at the EE spoilers, like seriously they are still dragging their heels at Callum finding out the truth about what happened to Ben?

I get that they want to keep Ben and Callum separate right now, especially as they want Callum to be focused on Stuart’s storyline. Since Stuart is leaving and Callum should be around for Stuart’s exit storyline since they are brothers after all.

But it’s getting ridiculous that Callum is still in the dark over what happened. Especially as more and more people are finding out the truth every day. The “cheating” was the final straw that broke their marriage’s back. And still Callum doesn’t know that it wasn’t cheating, but a sexual assault. 

I don’t think the show has any plans for Callum to find out soon. Hopefully they will have Callum find out by September and not drag it out to October.

I really really wish that EE would stop dropping spoilers and let things play out, it'd make being a fan SO much easier.
