Ben saying to Jay he doesn't want him to make the same mistakes he did, and Ben haters (some also hate Callum) are still like "Ben is a hypocrite, he is not perfect" Did you purposely ignore the part where Ben doesn't want Jay to make the same mistakes he did?

Okay but the fact that
I painted this, relating each of the women to six of the seven deadly sins, then jokingly decided that whoever ended up assigned the missing sin would be the victim—
NOW HOW THE FUCK HAVE I DONE THAT

“I’m still carrying it…. I just don’t know what I’m carrying”
I just love that line. All Ben’s been hearing is how he ‘makes his problems everyone else’s’ (including Callum himself telling him that last year) but Callum’s telling him here and now, in a really lovely way, that Ben’s ‘problems’ aren’t the issue for him. It’s Ben not sharing his problems that he’s bothered by… because seeing him in pain and acting out pains Callum.
He’s not ‘sparing’ Callum by not sharing stuff with him. Callum is just carrying it without knowing how to help and support him.

America?! Jesus, I know they like to make Ben suffer, but that's a bit below the belt. Hopefully, whatever move Callum makes it so that at least he can stay in the UK, because at least that prison system is fair.
Plus, I'm not sure how that would work. Is he going to be stuck there forever? I know the US won't let people who have a criminal record leave and the UK has a list of people who can't come in because they have criminal records. Would he just get deported back when Chris Clenshaw fucks off?

Lola didn't allow Ben near Lexi when she found out he was taking drugs. Why should Jay be allowed near her then? Ben took drugs to deal with the trauma of rape, Jay is taking drugs to deal with grief. Why should only one of them be an exception?

I don’t know about England, but in the US it takes a lot to get a kid away from a parent to allow them to be adopted by someone else. It would take a lot of time, a lot of money in legal fees, and a lot of proof that the bio parent was abusive - none of which Lola and Jay have. So they can talk about it all they like, but Callum has a better shot of adopting Lexi after Lola is gone than Jay does now.
