A suit perhaps? Anything new. "Something interesting like a suit-gown but relatively easy to move in."

"I'd also like something that shows off a note of power or based on the constellations if at all possible."

Azure slid the card back, saying, "Payment only upon delivery of the outfit, not before. To make sure our dear customers like what they see. It'll be no trouble...come back soon for your suit. I have something in mind..."

Azure took down the details of the suit, nodding occasionally and humming something to himself in affirmation when the description was over. He thanked the customer for choosing their shop and got to work on making the request...

And after some time, here it is. Azure brought out the suit with a grand aplomb.

"The inside of the suit duster has a lining of dark blue satin, with constellations meticulously hand embroidered in. We chose the best ones to denote power, practically imbuing this. We kept it on the inside, as to only be shown off if you 'cut loose', as it were. Whether dancing or Pokemon battling, you'll be cutting a powerful figure. We also gave you a brooch, so that can be hinted at. Of course, we kept the theme to be that of a shiny Umbreon, as you requested. We hope you like your personalized design."

Yes, it's lore focused and WAS on the front page, and could technically still be there, but in an effort to shorten the pinned post, I'm trying something, since linking to already made posts is actually pretty easy-especially on mobile!

I might or might not add more/do another post like this at some point, I don't really know! 😅

-Her father was a Zorua among Zorua who was one of the best shape shifters out there!

-Her father is called Leo, short for Leonardo! (Not Ninja turtle related, I just liked the name! 😅)

-He may have ties to N's Zorua, and taught his family how to talk to humans/read.

-He's the local sheriff.

-He's old, but still has a mischievous streak.

-He disappeared for a long time to Arceus knows where some time ago, but is back to being the law.

(Hisui was not a thing back then, but it is now, so what if perhaps he was briefly sent to Hisui? Maybe he came back as a ghost???)

-Lola can shape shift because of him- with some differences-

-She can maintain form in battle, even when hit, she just can't hold it sleeping, or knocked out!

-Her main form is her pink Umbreon with shiny Latias wings.

Her Mom's a Vaporeon, who can color change at will!

-She's a famous model, a twin, and a December 25 hatch.

-She can be vain, but she's not mean in the slightest!

-Lola can always breathe underwater because of her genes, and even has webs in between her paws!

-Her Mom is Azura- no relation the the FF(?) character- I just liked the name, and Azure means blue! 😅

-They're married.

-Leo and Azura adopted a female Fenniken

-Her name is Scarlet Rose

-Scarlet is mostly red, with blue ear tufts/tail/eyes

-She's immune to water, and is the only Fenniken to actively seek water out

-Found on Cyllage beach on a family walk at sunset, passed out in the waves

-Loves pranks

-Used to talk with a country accent, but I dropped that! 😅

-Is younger than Lola

Inari- female Vaporeon, twins with Azura, baker extraordinaire, and Head chef at the hotel, makes the best sweets!

Sparx- male Jolteon, is part of leadership of a rescue team- teammate is a female Vulpix, he can come and go whenever he pleases, he's a good mon, but likes pranks, and often gets into wars with Scarlet

-Leader of two teams, a Red Rescue team, and a Explorers of Sky team, the co leader is the Vulpix whom I have not named!

Carrie- female Flareon, quiet, professional glass blower, sells her stuff in the hotel gift shop (when I created this, she LOVED MLP- the one with Twilight Sparkle!), NEVER feed her chocolate, as she'll bounce off the walls- literally!- Sparx will do it just for fun/to mess with his sister! 😈

Destiny- female Espeon, nerd/scientist with a temper- insult something she loves and incur her wrath! 👹

Flurry- male Glaceon, quiet librarian, introvert, runs the hotel library

Napalm- male Leafeon, quiet, respectful Doctor who specializes in aromatherapy, has an area in the hotel where he sees clients, and sells healing items- once had a trainer before I decided my OC's were caught- respectfully- like James, by mun- all in Luxury balls are they're my favorite.

The grandparents-

Alabaster- male Umbreon, OLD, still kicking, so is part of hotel guard, staunch rule follower, has trouble sleeping- might be white with blue rings, and yellow eyes.

His wife- Moonbeam- female Sylveon, typical sweet grandma type, who likes to bake cookies with Inari, and spoil kiddos, often reels Alabaster in when he gets too tense,/doesn't take care of himself, passed the color shifting on to her kids- but prefers to be the usual colors.

Lastly, not family by blood, but still in the fam!

Mystery- female Eevee, mischievous, LOVES pilfering cookies/sweets from mons- especially Inari- may call Azura, and her siblings Aunts and Uncles, likes to get into prank wars with Scarlet and Sparx, may not evolve/doesn't know what she'd be if she did- that's well...a Mystery! 😁

She gets away with it because she's cute, and Lola also likes sweets and it's kinda her hotel, so it's her rules! 😎😁

All mons are caught by mun, so Pokéballs don't work on them!😋

Introductory Post

Hello and greetings, my name is Indigo, I'm a traveling artist. I grew up on the outskirts of Driftveil City in Unova. I am not a competitive battler, and haven't done any gym challenges due to my own health issues. I do however, have five Pokemon of my own. My service Pokemon, Sweet Potato, Espeon ♂ My partner, Thin Mint, Umbreon ♀ Red Velvet, Shiny Chandelure ♀ Snickerdoodle, Mimikyu ♂ Angelsfood, Kirlia ♀

Some information on myself as well, I suppose. I use he/they pronouns and identify as demisexual. I am trans. I'm 22, my birthday is the 13th of November. I find myself most drawn to Dark, Ghost, Psychic, and Fairy types, so I suppose those are my type specialties.

I draw mainly in colored pencil or regular pencil, and I tend to draw Pokemon and their interactions with each other or with their trainers outside of battle.

Hello, I'm the man behind the blog! You can call me Azure, my main blog (the one I follow and like from) is @/anxiousazure and I am very new to the pokemon irl community! As mentioned, Indigo grew up on the outskirts of Driftveil City with rather overprotective parents. General TW for discussions of Indigo's past - manipulation, parental issues, ableism, mentions of transphobia, and mentions of dissociation. Anything about Indigo's past will be labeled with the tag "The Artist's Origin" and labeled with appropriate trigger/content warnings. Indigo's parents essentially felt he was too frail to protect himself given health issues he has (more info on that either in rp or via dms - i'd like to keep a few surprises here) and kept him super isolated because of it. It only got worse when he showed an aptitude with ghost type Pokemon. Eventually Indigo ran away and became the traveling artist we now know. However, due to that sheltering and his own travels, he's pretty out of the loop on any major events that occurred - add in the multiversal nature of Rotomblr/Rotumblr, well... Poor bestie is going to be real confused. Please feel free to take advantage of this.

Sorry for the delay, but welcome back to my Pokemon Legends Arceus nuzlocke run! With all 5 regions and nobles beaten, we've reached the endgame. Can I beat it?

Part 6: The Shattered Sky

The morning after I finished the Icelands, I and everyone else in the village woke up to find the sky… not right. Naturally, bossman Kamado blames me, and I get kicked out. Volo decides to help me out, and I meet Cogita. If you know the story of Legends, you know how this all goes, and frankly I don't have much interesting to report when it comes all this. I did go back to the Icelands for a hot minute to catch some pokemons, and picked up Dinah, an Alpha Froslass, and then my team solidly trashed the alpha pokemon at the lakes with ease, so making the Red Chain was painless. From here though, I have to go back to the Mountain. The Icelands may have taken the most from me, but that Mountain wanted blood, and I have to go back.

I head up there, and my first test is Beni. Beni has a Mismagius, a Sneasler, Gardevoir… and a Gallade. The Mountain, and a Gallade? The death flags are piling up, and I don't like it. 

Mismagius is his first pokemon, and its a little tricky, as my easy answers to it (Azure and Adapt) will die rather easily to the rest of his team, and LadyRidge will die to it.  I can go Goop, Dinah, or Batgirl, and I decide to go Goop due to his defensive capabilities, and the fact that the next pokemon on his team will be Gardevoir. Goop finishes it, but then something I didn't expect happened. See, I assumed Beni will throw out his pokemon in order, like a decent chunk of trainers in pokemon games do. Oh no. He sends out Sneasler, who is so fast compared to Goop it gets off two Quick Attacks and then a Strong style Close Combat. Goop… is gone. 

Batgirl comes in and takes out the Sneasler, but I'm devastated. It's not been that long since I lost Kodiak and Lilith, and while Goop hadn't been around as long as them, he left an impression (1 person on twitter even replied to the tweet saying Goop was dead with a emoji screaming "no", so I'm not the only person who loved him). What's more, Goop was essential to my battle plan versus the next fight, Kamado. But I pushed that aside and kept the attack on. Batgirl finished off Beni's Gardevoir, and then the Gallade came out, and immediately Agile  styles a Psychic, than a normal one, and Batgirl falls as well. I send out Dinah, and she finishes off the Gallade, but I leave that battle once again down a third of my team. 

Congrats Mountain, you got 2 more kills. And I can safely say I've developed a burning hatred of Gallades.

At this point I took another break and time to train, and Twitter didn't hear from me for almost a solid month (for comparison sake, everything before this  happened roughly in 1.5, 2 weeks). I looked at all my potential options, trained several, did some research, and then put together this team for Kamado: 

Azure (Samurott), lvl 74

Adapt (Umbreon), lvl 74

LadyRidge (Lilligant), lvl 75

Dinah (Alpha Froslass), lvl 78

Underdog (Garchomp), lvl 61

Chaucer (Arcanine), lvl 63

Chaucer made his return to the front lines (he had shown up once or twice for random fights in the Icelands, but this was his first return to consist teammate), and I introduced Underdog to the group. That Gible, when I caught him, had been a measly lvl 30-something, so it took AWHILE to get him ready, but I valued a ground attacker, and no one can argue a Garchomp is a strong asset to any team.  I would have preferred to get the two of them to 70 like the rest of the team, but to be honest, I was tired, and in the process of training Underdog the others had naturally grown 7 or 8 levels since the Beni fight, meaning Chaucer and Underdog were actually pretty close to where the team had been when I last progressed the story. So with that determined, I went after Kamado. 

So Kamado has 4 pokemon: Golem, Braviary, Snorlax, and Celfable. Azure takes down the Braviary, and the combination of Dinah and LadyRidge take out the Clefable. Kamado sends out his Snorlax, and I take a second to determine my next move. LadyRidge is currently out, and while the Snorlax is weak to fighting, it also knows Zen Headbutt. Leaving out LadyRidge is a risk, but I decide to take it. Sure enough, that headbutt hurt bad, but Lady's Drain Punch  heals her up and takes out the Snorlax. One weak Golem later, Kamado is finished. The training paid off, and everyone survived. Didn't even use the new mates. 

A bunch of story stuff happens now, as you know, and long story short Adapt holds the line until I can acquire a Palkia now affectionately named… Frank. Dialga (aka the soon to be Bob) pops out, and with the mcguffin (aka Red Cord) gone, we retreat. We need to build a special ball to catch it, so LadyRidge and Chaucer take down the thieves one last time and we acquire the ore we need. We get back to home base, where I'm reminded I have to take Frank with me to fight future-Bob, so Underdog stays behind (don't worry, I wasn't planning on keeping Frank on the team, Underdog would return). Time for another boss fight.

Either I've gotten good, or this boss battle is different, cause as I ducked, dodged, and threw balms, I got future-Bob's bar significantly down before I had to throw out a pokemon. LadyRidge comes out, I have her do a Victory Dance first, and future-Bob tries to take the opportunity to gut punch her out of time. She survives the hit though, and double Drain Punched future-Bob down to oblivion. I begin to throw the balms again, and somehow… I finished it. The easiest boss fight yet. I catch myself a Bob, and with a Frank and a Bob in my possession, the sky returns to normal.

While everyone celebrates, and the "Thank you for Adventuring" card pops up, I almost consider this nuzlocke a success. But no. I have one more fight left to do. The real villain needs to be brought to justice, no matter the price.

Journey’s Start... Maybe

“Swirl, come on. It’s time to set off.”

Azure tried his best to keep his voice steady, loud and clear, as his Umbreon usually responded to that best, but this time around, it was just no use. They had finally gotten off Cinnabar Island and were in the thick of Celadon City, where Azure had hoped to be able to afford at least some items that would help him out in battles, should it really be necessary. But so far...

Swirl, ever air-headed and completely absorbed with whatever caught its attention at this ten second intervall, was chasing after a Growlithe, which apparently had taken this as a sign that it was time to roughhouse especially thoroughly. Azure was already trying his best to apologize to the owner of the Growlithe, who was not best pleased with the Umbreon having disrupted his quiet walk, and only with a small sprint and almost tackling Swirl off its feet, Azure finally was able to stop this impromptu playdate.

“Really? You just had to do that, didn’t you.” Azure leaned slightly away when Umbreon nuzzled him, for fear that it would headbutt him like the last few times. With a resigned sigh, he stashed the Moon Ball again without recalling Swirl and just set off along the streets of Celadon.

At this rate, I’ll never make it anywhere.

- Held Item: Reveal Glass; took a shard of the mirror that shattered connecting the two worlds together

- Evolved when he first helped temper the Four Sword and by using the light force

- Held Item: Amulet Coin; given by the Minish so they will know that he is a friend and leave more gifts in the grass

- Ability: Synchronize; shares the same status condition with attacker (their is four of him and one of you, feel the fire)

- Big believer on unity from peers and from within

- Sun’s Pokedex Entry: It can instantaneously sense its opponent's movements by feeling air currents with its fine fur.

- Nature: Mild

Warriors; Flareon - Firestone

- Evolved when battling Dragon Knight Volga, the great fairy sent him bombs that he touched

- Move Set: Quick Attack, Fire Blitz, Giga Impact, and Attract

- Held Item: Focus Band; an item received when training in the army

- Ability: Guts; won’t back down and gets an attack boost (the passion in his eyes will destroy you)

- Does everything with a fiery passion

- Will keep you warm with that blue sash

- Sun’s Pokedex Entry: When it catches prey or finds berries, it breathes fire on them until they're well done, and then it gobbles them up.

- Nature: Brave

Wild; Glaceon - Level up in Cavern

- Evolved during his slumber inside the Sheikhs Cavern

- Move Set: Endure, Natural Gift, Ice Beam, and Hyper Beam

- Held Item: Icicle Plate; the sheikh slate left to him by Princess Zelda

- Ability: Snow Cloak; Boosts evasion (with all them clothes he gets…you’ll never see him coming)

- Doesn’t remember the Eveee he once was

- Moon’s Pokedex Entry: It freezes its fur into icicles, spiky and sharp, and tackles its prey.

- Evolved during his stay with Marin and Tarin

- Held Item: Yellow Shard; the Triforce that he keeps safe and put back together

- Ability: Adaptability; powers moves of the same ability (wont back down in a fight, time to be ended son)

- Crystal’s Pokedex Entry: Its ability to evolve into many forms allows it to adapt smoothly and perfectly to any environment.

The Alola Pokemon League is coming to an end in the anime, with Ash vs Gladion in the finals. I’ve translated some snippets of the interviews that Okamoto Nobuhiko (voice actor of Gladion) did.

Okamoto’s first encounter with Pokemon was Green, which he bought when he was a second year student in elementary school. At that time, his home was very strict with the rule of ‘Only one hour of gaming per week.' When his friends played popular RPGs, they would clear the story before he even got past the first stage. When Pokemon Red/Green were released, he was playing it behind his parents’ back. He was to be in bed by 9pm, but he would hide under his futon with a light and play until midnight.

During that period, Pokemon was highly popular even in school, and he would battle his friends. In his first battle, Okamoto’s highest levelled Pokemon was a Nidoking at Lv. 80, but his opponent had six Lv. 100 Mewtwos. He was roundly defeated, but despite feeling upset about the loss he also developed a strong resolution to win.

Interviewer: “The bitterness of defeat became a springboard for you.”

Okamoto: “Yes. Somehow I really wanted to defeat the opponent’s Mewtwos without using Mewtwo, so I went through a lot of trial and error. First I tried Hypno, who could withstand Mewtwo’s Psychic, and used a combination of Hypnosis and Dream Eater, but the opponent quickly countered that with Substitute.”

Interviewer: “Huh? Weren’t you in elementary school?! That sounds rather like some high level strategising. (laughs)”

Okamoto: “I think we both took it pretty seriously (laughs). The next thing I tried was to use Chansey with Minimize. It doesn’t matter how powerful the attack is if it can’t hit.”

Despite his efforts, he never managed to defeat the Mewtwo team. Both he and his opponent were crazy about the game at that age. In middle school, he still played Pokemon, but he didn’t really continue with competitive battle after clearing them. When he entered university, his passion for Pokemon battles returned again with Diamond and Pearl.

During that time, Okamoto was spending so much time raising Pokemon that he sometimes forgot to eat or sleep. He was pretty serious about competitive battling then, creating teams around Garchomp.

When XY came out with Mega Evolution, he often used Mega Kangaskhan, armed with Power-Up Punch.

Interviewer: “In the anime, Ilima also used a Mega Kangaskhan with Power-Up Punch.”

Okamoto: “Yes! As expected of Ilima, he knows what’s up (laughs)“

Interviewer: “It’s amazing how Guzma’s Scizor managed to take those blows (laughs)“

Okamoto: “Guzma’s strategies worked out well for him. It’s not possible in the game, but in the anime, trainers can call out to warn their Pokemon to dodge attacks.”

Interviewer: “’DODGE IT!’ That's the dream of every Pokemon Trainer's in this world…”

Okamoto first started watching the Pokemon anime every week in elementary school as well. The SunMoon anime has a peaceful, slice-of-life feel, but he remembers many touching, tear inducing episodes in the original anime. He was especially touched by the scene where Ash was using his body to protect Pikachu from the Spearow. Pikachu hadn’t wanted to listen to him before, but that was the turning point where their bonds began to grow. Other memorable episodes include Bye Bye Butterfree.

When his manager said that he had an upcoming job in Pokemon as the heroine’s brother, he thought “Isn’t that Gladion? Awesome!!” 

Interviewer: ”How did you feel when you were casted as Gladion in the anime you love?”

Okamoto: “I was just really happy. When I said the line ‘Ash!’, it really felt like I was having a conversation with the Ash I watched in my childhood, and my heart was shaking.”

“My character Gladion is a cool character. The process of recording him really dug deep into the question of ‘Why is he cool?'"

"Gladion is a trainer who analyzes battles in real-time. 'If they use that move, I'll counter with this move'. He's always thinking. That's why he doesn't speak much, and watches the battles calmly, rather than getting heated. That's why he's cool.”

With Lillie and Lusamine, he shows a softer side, more of him as a young boy, because they are his family. The cool side of him retreats when he's with them. When he battles Ash, since he's older, he behaves more like an older brother teaching a younger junior.

Interviewer: “Teaching Ash sounds like it’d be rather stressful (laughs)“

Okamoto: "Yes, I almost wished to erase Okamoto Nobuhiko's memory. In my mind, Ash is this amazing skilled trainer who has gained lots of experience. But in the SunMoon anime, Ash is still young, and has less battle experience than Gladion."

Interviewer: ”Did you also have difficulties playing Gladion because there was an established impression of Game Gladion in Okamoto memory?”

Okamoto: “It was hard (laughs). I had to think of it as a different world from the game. Game Gladion was in Team Skull, but in the anime he wasn’t, and there were various other small differences. I managed to make that shift smoothly.

“His relationships with his family are quite different too. Game Lusamine had a terrifying side, while in the anime, she's a kind mother. Lillie, too, was slightly different. Though this may be different depending on person, I could sense a bit more pushiness in Game Lillie. When I was playing through the story, I suddenly found myself fascinated by Lillie. In the anime, however, I never really felt that pushiness. Though perhaps that’s due to Shindo Kei (CV for Lillie).”

Interviewer: "Lillie's speech when she performs Z-moves are totally influenced by Gladion…”

Okamoto: “She became an edgelord too (laughs). Lillie, you too!? I laughed without thinking.”

Interviewer: “How would you fight Ash if you were using Gladion’s Pokemon?“

Okamoto: "He'd definitely use Pikachu, so I'd have Silvally hold the Ground memory. I’d start with sending Umbreon out and observe how he goes. Umbreon would hold Lum Berry, moveset would perhaps be Curse/Payback/Hypnosis/Quick Attack or something. Depending on what Ash leads with, it could work. But Ash's Melmetal has extremely high defense, so I wonder if I can beat that… There are no Pokemons with really high Sp.Att in Gladion's team, so defeating Melmetal might be difficult.”

Interviewer: “That’s more from a game POV, how do you think it will go from an anime POV?"

Okamoto: "I believe the key would lie in how Zoroark uses his Illusion. It will break if he gets hit by an opponent's move, so I’d use the DODGE IT quite liberally (laughs). Maybe he could turn into Umbreon and use Dark Pulse, to continue fooling the opponent.”

Okamoto: ”Anime Silvally can change memory mid battle, so he can switch to whatever type he wants. Theoretically that makes him the strongest. But Ash’s Lycanroc is probably going to be a tough battle. He has Counter. Moves in the game that would KO can be survived in the anime with effort, so we'd have to watch out for the Counter after that.“

Okamoto: “Gladion is a composed character, so whenever I put in a bit more energy, I’d be advised ‘That’s too desperate. At this point, it would feel too much like he’s on the losing side.’ I struggled over how to play Gladion as a cool character without losing that intensity.”

“Although I’ve played other cool characters, the approach to playing Gladion is different. He’s not exactly just cool; instead, he’s rather passionate. In spite of his heated passion, he analyses based on observing the Pokemon’s moves, so I thought ‘It’d be good if he could appear cool.’ (….)

“Gladion says things like “Rocks drenched in the Z aura of the azure moon” “Demonic eye of the moon! Shine upon the labyrinth of darkness!” and other edge-y lines, but I was tasked to voice them in a way where those are the ways he cheers on his Pokemon. It’s kind of like his routine towards victory. Other characters don’t do speeches like that, but his sister Lillie does the same, so perhaps it’s in the blood. (laughs).”

“There was a scene where Guzma’s partner Golisopod, returned to his pokeball after being damaged by Pikachu. At the recording studio, people were asking ‘Why did he go back into the ball?’, and I really wanted to tell them that ‘That’s Golispod’s ability, Emergency Exit.’”

“With regards to Golisopod, the staff did actually give an explanation. What surprised me was that they told me “The only one who’s ever been able to talk about the Pokemon games like this at the recording studio is Okamoto-san.” People who have been in touch with Pokemon since a young age (like me) are called ‘Pokemon natives’ by the staff.”

Shoreline, shallows, coastline, tidal, azure, tempest, nymph!

shoreline: if you could become fluent in another language, which would you pick and why?

Irish Gaelic or Japanese; because of all the languages I want to learn, those two are going to be the hardest. They’re not Romantic languages and work on a completely different system. Though, I might go with Irish Gaelic because it uses the same alphabet, just wildly differently. I can work with a different alphabet. Reading the one I’m familiar with all backwards and differently? Not so much.

shallows: what is your typical Starbucks order?

Vanilla bean frappaccino no caffeine two shots toffee nut two shots caramel with whipped cream and chocolate / caramel drizzle. Sometimes made as a steamed milk drink instead of a frap when it’s cold out. A variation on the Starbucks Butterbeer.

coastline: what is your favourite flower?

Bleeding Hearts wildflowers- they bloom in the summertime around this are and I adore them. Little lavender heart-shaped blooms with bits of yellow poking out the bottom. Foxglove, carnations, morning glories, and roses are close in second.

tidal: what is a colour that best describes your personality?

Porble. Love me that royal violet spectrum.

azure: what is something that you do that makes you happy?

I got a motorcycle, highways, and gas.

tempest: your favourite Pokemon?

Umbreon!

Height: 5′10″ ish Time right now: I began this earlier, but now it’s 2:12 PM.  Last thing you googled: I googled ‘inspiration’ to make sure I spelled it correctly; I did. I’m a horrible speller, so I try to double check.

Fave music artist: I respect music, but rarely go out of my way to listen to it. I don’t have a fave artist. I’ve never owned an iPod/or music playing device so maybe that’s why?  Song Stuck in My Head: ‘Bubble Gum Bitch’ because @theheartspeaksloudest reblogged a Katie McGrath video that I’ve been watching semi-religiously…So that’s why. It’s probably tied with ‘Sweet Serial Killer’ because of a Morgana video I’ve used to supplement the Katie one. I guess I come into contact with music from tribute videos?  

Last movie I watched: I watched Freakdog for Katie McGrath. I did not see a point in finishing it. The movie was not the best (imo); it would have bled me dry if I had to watch it all. ;-) . However, skipping to Katie’s parts made up for it bc Harriet=awesome.   Last tv show I watched: Uh, intentionally? That would be Supergirl. I turned on the TV this morning and half listened to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I needed noise while I was outlining a chapter and there was nothing else on that early. I wold rather listen to Mickey tell me what a pentagon is than hear about the P90x or Oxiclean. 

What I’m wearing right now: Black wash jeans, lumberjack (black and red) plaid over a black and red waffle texture long sleeve shirt, and blue/green sneaker. I guess the sneakers kill the checkerboard look that I just realized I was going for. I had on my Slytherin beanie earlier bc it’s windy af for some reason right now.

When I created this blog: Not sure, maybe in December? It’s been fun with my mutuals and followers so thank you all. :-) The kind of stuff I post: Hmm, mainly : Supergirl, SuperCorp, and Katie McGrath. 

Along Slytherin/Harry Potter related things, quotes, a bit of Star Wars, a dash of Carmilla, Katie Mc-Ohmygosh she’s so amazing, semi-frequent things about the ladies of Marvel (sometimes DC movie verse) etc. 

Do I get asks regularly?: Not especially. To be fair, I’ve not asked for them. You all can ask me things, if you wish. :-) I have gotten some great advice about watching some of Katie’s shows though and a few interesting asks. Why did I choose my url: Welp, I do have misanthropic tendencies, haha. I just went with it. 

Gender: Female Hogwarts House: A proud Slytherin. (Also, my wand is hornbeam. I forgot the rest. I might edit it in later because I was rather proud of my fictional dueling stick of death).      Pokémon team: Hmm, the last game I played was White/Black 2. I love them all and this is a tough question.

Welcome back to my Pokemon Legends Arceus nuzlocke run. Today's entry is where things started to go wrong.

Part 5: Heartbreak

It should come as no surprise to those who have been following along that if Goop is staying on the team, he needs to train. I use this time to catch more pokemons, and slowly, but surely, get Goop fully evolved and ready to go. Was kind of fun, having the full team hanging out at night in the rain so Goop could evolve (Goop snoozing in his shell, Lilith asleep on Kodiak, Azure and LadyRidge curled up beside me, and Adapt awake staying on guard because of course an Umbreon is awake at night). He's a force of nature, and hopefully will be useful in the days to come. 

The Icelands are pretty, I'll give you that, and the team, though a bit somber from TimeLord's death, is ready to go. I took this a bit slower, enjoying hanging out with my pokemon, including a fun moment where several of us relaxed in a hot sauna. It was a good time, maybe the last good time. But I'm getting ahead of myself. 

I met Gaeric and Sabi, and defeated Gaeric without too much trouble. Started chasing Sabi across the map, and she led me to the Snowpoint Temple. Azure had been feeling a bit left out after the Electrode battle, so he rushed ahead, taking care of much of the pokemon on the first floor, though he overstepped himself and Adapt had to save him from a Golbat. 

Solving the puzzles one at a time, I reach the top, and come across the Gallade. If you don't know, a lvl 70 Alpha Gallade guards the top of the Temple, and if I have to fight it, it will be bad. I think I can sneak past, but a Kirlia spawned with the Gallade, and I need to get rid of it so it doesn't alert the Gallade.  I wait till the Gallade is on the far side, away from the Kirlia, and throw out Lilith to quickly and quietly take it out. 

What happens next is probably the worst luck I've had in this game… cause somehow, that Gallade joined the battle.

I have no idea how this happened - I made sure the Gallade was far away, I didn't alert it, I hit the Kirlia before it noticed me. But the Gallade still joined the battle, and it outsped Lilith and immediately hit her with a Strong Style Psychic. She was dead mere seconds from leaving her ball.

I leave the battle and try to run, but Gallade does his triggered Alpha attack, blowing me into a corner, and then runs forward to strike me again. My screen is red, the next hit kills me, and I'm trapped.

I paused the game here and thought about my options. I had no good ones. Azure was in the red, Lilith was dead. The Gallade's psychic will kill LadyRidge, and its fighting moves could do serious damage to Goop, Kodiak, and definitely kill an already wounded Adapt. I have no good options. Kodiak has the best bulk and defense of my group, so I decide she's probably my best bet. My next decision is to use a Strong style move or not. If it doesn't one shot the Gallade, it will get two attacks on Kodiak, which will definitely kill her. I have to risk a normal move, and hope Kodiak doesn't get one shot as well. 

And I chose wrong.

Kodiak's move drops the Gallade to the red, and I realize that a Strong style would have killed it. As I make that realization, the Gallade uses a Strong Style Close Combat that crits, and Kodiak falls. Goop races forward to finish it off, as I fall to the ground in shock. Lilith and Kodiak, the girl bosses, are both gone.

I'm panicking now, because I know what's next. What's next is a 3v1 battle that I was counting on Kodiak to handle. Sabi sends out her Rhyperior, Magmorter, and Electivire, and I send out Goop. Goop kills the Magmorter quickly, but takes serious damage, so I swap to Adapt. She takes out the Electivire, but the Rhyperior gets her to the red as well, so LadyRidge comes out to finish the fight. Now, just gotta take out Braviary. My only pokemon not in the red is LadyRidge, but she's at a huge type disadvantage, so I'm forced to bring out Adapt again. Adapt gets a Dark Pulse off, and by some miracle the Braviary tries to use a psychic move, which doesn't affect Adapt. I beat the Braviary, defeated the temple, but… at a huge cost. 

I take a few days off, as losing Lilith and Kodiak really messed with me. When I come back, I decide to train Justice, a Rufflet to the team, only for it to die as well. I'm about ready to take another break, but I decide to instead to pick up Cranky, an alpha Infernape I was able to catch, and Batgirl, a Gligar. I trained a bunch, but I could tell the team was off. Kodiak and Lilith had been core members, Lilith was even on the original 6. But we trained, and were ready to fight Avalugg. The team's levels:

Azure (Samurott), lvl 63

Adapt (Umbreon), lvl 64

LadyRidge (Lilligant), lvl 65

Goop (Goodra), lvl 60

Cranky (Alpha Infernape), lvl 68

Batgirl (Gligar), lvl 60

I go into this fight, dodging and throwing balms. LadyRidge comes out, and I decide to risk a Victory Dance. LadyRidge gets knocked to the red by the Avalugg, but then she Drain punches it and knocks it out. I begin the dodging again, but it hits me, and the black lines begin to creep in. Cranky jumps in, but misses a close combat, leaving him open, and the Avalugg Strong styles a ground move, killing Cranky. Nonononononono. Goop comes out to finish it. It's back to me, and immediately I get hit again. I'm in the red, but I don't care. For Lilith, Kodiak, Justice, and Cranky, I'm finishing this, and go full offensive. Right before I would be hit, my last balm finishes it, and it's over. I'm battered, mentally crushed, and about to enter the end-game.

Yay.

Icelands completed.
