After having to deal with your family, you wanted nothing more than to never come home.

When Suga met up with you after school, as he always does, he noticed how your mood was…off

“Hi (Y/N)! How was your winter break?” He asked you with sparkly eyes.

“Oh… it was, great.” You replied quickly, showing him a fake smile.

He ushered the two of you to sit down on the bench by the gym. You both have basically claimed this bench as your “spot”.

“Good to hear! What did you get for Christmas?” Suga inquired, swinging his legs childishly.

As you finally smiled for real, explaining what you received from your family, it was quick to fade.

“Woah, hey, what’s wrong?” He turns his knees to face you and holds both of your hands.

“Sorry, just a bad thought.”

“That’s okay, bad thoughts are normal.”

“Yeah” you replied with a forced grin once again.

“(Y/N), will you please tell me what’s really going on? You’ve fake smiled twice, and when you really did smile it dropped in an instant.”

As he exposed your true actions, your face fell into a frown.

“(Y/N)…?”

“I’m sorry.” You whisper, removing your hands and averting your gaze from his eyes.

“Hey, hey, hey. You know you can tell me anything, right?” He asked gently, “(Y/N) look at me please.”

When you turned back, you were sniffling as tears welled up in your eyes.

“Okay that’s it. Who’s making you cry like this? I will sicc Hinata, Noya and Tanaka on them in an instant. I promise I won’t hesit-“

(Belos sits on his throne with Hunter to his side. Hunter has his cardinal buddy hidden away.)

Belos: Is there something that you are neglecting to tell me, Hunter?

Hunter: No, uncle.

Belos: I can't help but notice that you are fidgeting. You've been awfully quiet ever since encountering the Blight girl at the Eclipse Lake.

Hunter: She was just...really strong than I had anticipated is all.

Belos: Regardless, you have acquired the Titan's blood, an important ingredient for the Day of Unity. I am quite certain your parents would have been proud.

Hunter: Yes, uncle. Thank you.

Belos: Fret not on her or the human. The Day of Unity is an inevitable fate that will come to pass no matter if any covenless witch has any say about it.

Goon: Lord Belos, Kikimora approaches.

Belos: Aw, she must have come to report on the events at the Eclipse Lake.

(Kikimora walks in with the coven heads. She briefly looked at Hunter with her one eye, but she kept her focus on the Emperor.)

Belos: Speak, Kiki.

Kikimora: (bows) Lord Belos, I have been a faithful servant of yours for I'd say thirty years. Ever since you found me and entrusted me with this position, I have nothing but appreciation for that.

(As she spoke, two of the Abomitons walk in; Hunter notices it but is cut off from voicing his concern.)

Kikimora: I was loyal to your cause of the Day of Unity, and your vision of a world bereft of wild magic. However, during the last few years, and certainly when your little "muse" came into the equation, I felt that you were gradually neglecting your ideals and missing out on the big picture.

Belos: What is the meaning of this?

Kikimora: After the blunder that was the excavation of the Titan's blood, I rolled around in my bed until a thought occurred to me: I have the nagging sense that you are being too soft on what you say the will of the Titan desires.

Belos: What?

(Kikimora lifts "the finger" covering her left eye and the claw pointed in Belos' direction. Before Belos could respond, vines erupt from the ground and wrap around Belos' body. Belos' mask falls from his face hitting the ground with a thud. From his facial expressions, he is in physical pain.)

Belos: This is treachery!

Kikimora: What good is it to just stop at eradicating wild magic? We should be the ones ruling over the wretched lot?

(She goes Belos using her finger to drive the Emperor on the ground to his knees. His neck was stretched back by an invisible force. Kikimora produces a knife and walks towards him. Belos tries to squirm against the heavy restraints to no avail. The vines compressed his chest, crushing his lungs.)

Kikimora: But in order to do that, the old must be done away with.

Belos: What did you promise the coven heads?

Kikimora: Once I ascend, I will remodel the coven system giving them more control over the new world. But, this is too much chit chat, don't you agree?

(Belos goes to speak, but he winces. The invisible hold on the back of his head evaporates and he tilts his head forward. Green blood leaked from his cut and fell to the floor in a large puddle.)

Belos: (whispers) K-K...

Darrius: What shall we do to the boy, Empress?

Kikimora: I don't care. Feed him to a Slitherbeast for all I care. But it is quite the predicament isn't it? The human girl has assassinated our great leader in an unprovoked attack, and in a position where he could not fight back, and the Titan has appointed me as his heir.

(Kikimora siccs the Abomitons on Hunter; before they could capture him, Rascal flies out and forms the staff. Without as much warning, the staff gets into his hand and propels him out the window.)

Darrius: What are we going to do now?

Kikimora: Don't worry about him for now. Perhaps he'll try to alert the Owl Lady and her pupil on the coup. For right now, it's best to give the announcement to the children of the Isles. Remember to act distraught even if it means ripping a few eyelashes out here and there. Changes are definitely in order.

Some Red Canyon head canons...

Wish I had a better grasp of drawing so I could do some of these. Anyways. Head canon that for all the awful Mac and Cain were, there were times where:

Mac would tease him, nothing serious, and if they got in a fight about it then it wasn’t a harsh one (at least from Mac’s side). Ear flicks, pinching, shoving, soft punches, headlocks, ruffling hair. Schoolyard crap. Mac thought the kid needed to lighten up.

Cain would sit with a smoke or a beer and watch Mac work on the truck. Cain could fix his bike himself, but sometimes he’d ride over with a six pack of beer and takeout as payment and sprawl on the stoop, watching Mac for once go quiet and tame in the yard. Even Mutt would be alright, flopped in his pen with pizza crust tossed his way and the hose dribbling for water.

Mac would get harsh sometimes because Cain needed to be, if he was going to make it. Couldn’t be in their work and be soft, and Cain would have to get double because he was young. Folks would think he was soft even if he came around the bar with scraped knuckles or a temper. So Mac would freshen those scrapes and sicc that temper on himself, it’d been a while since they fought and Mac wanted to make sure Cain wasn’t tucking his thumbs, would break something that way.

Cain would catch little signs of Mac drawing: eraser shavings, graphite or marker smears on Mac’s fingers, pages torn from notebooks left out. He could tell if it was something random or that Mac took care of by if the perforated line was left intact. He’d go hunting for whatever Mac drew, just to see, but never found the hiding spot.

Mac would feel weird those times when he was actually doing something that didn’t have a catch and Cain gave him a look like he was putting a knife in his back anyways. It wasn’t hurt, he didn’t get hurt, least of all over some runner with trust issues.

Cain would keep his medicine cabinet stocked with Orajel for when Mac’s teeth bugged him.

Mac would set out plots to draw game because he remembered Cain saying how he wanted to bag something that wasn’t vermin, like a real hunter. It paid off, sprinkling cereal in the trees and field across the road. Walter was over working on the genny and Cain was around when Mac spotted a young buck, eight point. He shoved his rifle at Cain before he could think about getting subtle. Cain got it. Walter wanted a picture for the bar, had his Polaroid, and when Cain griped Mac shoved him at the deer. He stayed there so Cain wouldn’t bolt; it was his rifle and on his property, anyways, his deer as much as Cain’s. Mac stuck his tongue out and Cain wasn’t mean-mugging for once, holding up the antlers. Cain asked once why Mac bought Raisin Bran when he didn’t even like it (got stuck in his teeth) but Mac was pretty sure Cain never figured out what he’d been using it for.

It's seriously disheartening to think certain folks on this site consider the feelings of fictional characters worth damaging real lives over. Have some empathy, maybe? Or at least stay in your lane?

This is how Stans operate - They tend to be so obsessive, including over their imagined version of their sainted character (Which often doesn’t bear much resemblance if at all to canon), that they get very defensive, very sensitive over criticism even when it’s well-founded and rational.

To the point that anyone who dares to say it like it is or even state a personal opinion over why that character is not the hot shit they’re made out to be and why they’re an awful person in-canon and hence unlikeable, it’s fair play to try and decimate their reputation over, something not even relevant to the criticism of the Stanned character. I’ve had this from Gitzy before - SuperEmeralds spread libellous bullshit about me and this is what she had to say to their post promoting their avoid page on which it was stated;

Here’s the thing regarding what’s stated in the above - I’m polite to people who act as such in return, I don’t sicc followers on anyone, they don’t kiss my ass and I’m not a snob. Just because some people haven’t seen my good side doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist - They just don’t deserve to see it.

Thoughts on the SU hour long special?

It rushed to bring an end to the series; so having learned about an upcoming 6th season was confusing.I disliked the speed in which White Diamond turned around, and I still don’t understand what made her change her ways. Because.. Steven gave her a “sicc burn”? I equally don’t understand what made her turn into a dictator in the first place. Who was she trying to impress? There’s no good reason for her behaviour, unless there’s some power out there greater than these diamonds, who’s forcing them to be stern and flawless, but introducing such a character would be jumping the shark. White Diamond is supposed to be this character.The first time I saw her, it was perfect, I felt intimidated, but just like they did with Stevonnie; the second time you see her, the art style has been downgraded immensely and she’s no longer interesting to look at or listen to.To see Jasper’s story arc get concluded as a 3 second clip in a music video was awful. After the show revealed what/who Steven was, I would’ve expected Jasper’s return to get its own episode. She could’ve been recruited as a Crystal Gem after Steven freed Bismuth to be a guest at a wedding -which was inappropriately selfish, in my opinion- but the writers seemingly forgot Jasper was ever in the show. And now we’re at the last episode of season 5, and this is all we have. It’s not the grand return I hoped for. Same goes for that corrupted gem Steven kept as a pet.If a 6th season is planned, why did they rush to take care of all loose ends? Why couldn’t the battle against White Diamond continue in this new season?Sadie’s character development in the show was a mess, and this special reminded me of that. That she and the once dead Lars couldn’t even greet each other with an embrace says everything. She did not care about him during his disappearance and pursued a career as an objectively shitty singer in an objectively shitty band. Lars was a pathetic character hardly worth anyone’s time, but to have no one be emotionally invested in him while he was lost in outer space makes THEM look bad, not Lars. Wasn’t Sadie supposed to be his friend, still? They spoke to each other like they were strangers. Perhaps that was the point, but it’s not pleasant to look at.I have alot of thoughts, but they concern the show as a whole, so I’ll stop here.
