LOOK AT WHAT OUR AMAZING ART HUMANS HAVE CREATED!
These human pig smellies that will be helping to make future AVTP episodes got together to draw their mighty Irken overlords (except Dib) in their own artistic likeness! They call this a "draw this in your style" event. This earthoid event is quite peculiar, but seeing all of the styles together (except Dib) is very pleasing to Zim.
Just the other week I finished up my 3rd redo of my AVTP Tallest Red and Purple models. Here they are showcased in a lil scene that might be familiar to some of you.
Back in October of 2022 I finished version 1 of Red and Purple. They were my first ever finished character models. To showcase them, I put them in a little restaurant scene.
When I finished my 3rd version of them, I decided to put the new models in that same scene to compare the differences.
And DANG! What a difference! It really blew my mind hahah. The background was barely touched, the only significant difference is the character rigs of Tallest Red and Purple from Version 1 to Version 3!
Yea, the old models are lookin a bit like handsome Squidward. You can make fun haha.
This is why I tell folks, you gotta keep pushing to get better at something. It is achievable, but it's not without perseverence and time!
Alright, I'm finally allowed to post it so here's a thing I've done a couple of months ago as a test task for my application into @averytallproblem :D Now I'm an official member of the team, yay!
I'm still really proud of it, all the struggles I had in the beginning were worth it
I'll also post some bonus stuff under the cut
p.s. If you were thinking about applying but haven't yet, I highly suggest to give a try!
Hey everyone! For those who followed our Invader Zim content and the AVTP project as SMP developed it from the ground up, I have a few things to update you all on.
SMP is no longer connected to AVTP, and as proxy, I won't be moving forward with the project either. AVTP is still a concept and idea owned by SMP as well as some of its narrative ideas, and there are many original characters within the series we still hold copyright over, but the project in total has been fully separated from SMP management-wise, and will be moving forward independent of SMPs resources and support.
We at SMP wish the project the best moving forward, but it is unfortunate to say we will no longer be featuring any content on our channel of AVTP, and we likely in the future will be making minimal content relating to IZ. It's simply a personal preference from here, so I apologise to any people to enjoyed that content!
We wish them the best, and the separation was certainly for the best.
So I'm a little late announcing this, because I wanted to time it with an event of some kind, but I can't keep it in any longer. I've been accepted as a colorist to work on the fan show A Very Tall Problem! I'm very excited by this, because
A: I want/need experience in the field to better my chances of getting into the animation field and out of my current vocation. (Yay for career changes) and
B: It's invader Zim, how could I NOT be a part of this? I was a teen when that show came out and I've been a fan of Jhonen's work for years. Needless to say, I'm very excited. Like shaking like a chihuahua excited.
So yea, keep your eyes open, because I'll be posting things AVTP related as allowed. In the meantime, please enjoy my long overdue redraw of Migz and Gra! My oc's. And Mad Tallest Jade, a mad max themed concept piece I played with when I first got accepted onto the team.
The wait is finally over! Our pop-up restaurant has finally arrived and is open for business! Please review our eclectic menu of mildly painful offerings and join us on our server to place your orders! They’re Dib-licious!!
I made something incredibly stupid and really funny last week.
I would tell you the context if I knew the context myself (I don't)
Some might say an obscure dream, some might say its things to come. But one thing is for certain, between Zim and a rapidly approaching mini cooper, my money is on the Cooper.
Although... he is Zim after all, so you never know what could happen.
