Howdy lads, welcome to my blog. I'm Blue, a 22 year old aspiring Blender 3D artist, tech nerd, and (soon to be) teacher! I'm also a Production Lead and the Background Lead for @averytallproblem.

On this blog you'll find a lot of Invader Zim stuff, mainly Invader Zim stuff made in 3D. "You do 3D? This looks 2D!" Yes! I specialize in a 2D toon shaded look for all my IZ artwork.

What else can you expect? LOTS OF INVADER ZIM OC LORE!!! I love doing stuff with my lads very much. Oh and also more Blender stuff, maybe some realistic looking IZ 3D art. Maybe some MINI COOPERS. Maybe some TECH NERDING. All wrapped up and somehow tied into IZ. It's gonna be a WILD RIDE.

Thank you so much for this Nox, I love this so much! I always enjoy seeing your style, and seeing him in traditional to boot is such a treat. Your blending and shading with this are a sight to behold. I love the pose and the way his coattail flaps in the breeze. Thank you so much again!

Sudden traditional drawing with Virm as a gift for @bluecolty

I just wanted to try to do something with pencils after so many years, as well as wanted to draw Blue's 2nd oc for months already, so I just did both at the same time xD

The list of materials I used is under the cut

3 mechanical pencils. 0.5 HB, 0.5 2B, 0.3 2B

Occasionally the regular faber castell pencil 3B (very rarely)

Hobby knife to crumb some graphite from 3B pencil to smudge it later (was done only on the lower part of bg)

Paper blending sticks #6, #5 and #2

Faber castell kneaded eraser

the cheapest A4 album LMAO (i swear the paper in it is thinnier than regular a4)

ITS BEEN RELEASED!

I decided to contribute to the Medea spider man meme along with a bunch of other folks. And my style of choice was 3D! I used my Medea model for this part, it was a ton of fun posing her hahah.

LOOK AT WHAT OUR AMAZING ART HUMANS HAVE CREATED! These human pig smellies that will be helping to make future AVTP episodes got together to draw their mighty Irken overlords (except Dib) in their own artistic likeness! They call this a "draw this in your style" event. This earthoid event is quite peculiar, but seeing all of the styles together (except Dib) is very pleasing to Zim.

GO CHECK OUT HOW TEE DONE DID MY LAD! Tee this art trade was absolutely perfect, I really do love it so much. I couldn't be happier with it for sure, it was super cool to see Xeon in your style. It was also a ton of fun to model Kitt as well. Too bad Kitt wasn't rigged, or I could have recreated this scene in 3D. Maybe some day...

Did a lil art trade with @tee-doodles, this was my half.

No, seriously, this is a half. A half of an Irken. This is Kitt, Tee's OC that got Blender/3D'ified. He is half metal. Why is he half metal? Tee has some classic TeeLore ™ that will fill you in. Kitt was rebuilt after an accident, and he uhh, he was rebuilt. Kitt is an absolute lad, he's a true cutie.

Below is the 2D and 3D comparison, it was a ton of fun to bring him to life in 3D. A bit painful perhaps too… Kitt is the least symmertrical character I've ever made. As well as outlines, SO MANY OUTLINES. All in all, I'm super happy with how he turned out! Enjoy Tee 🥴

Haven't had much time to check Tumblr recently so I almost missed this. The first time I saw this I was so appreciative, it was the first art gift I had gotten from someone in the IZ community. So even though its many months old, thank you so much Nox!

Today I finished up my first ever commission for @invaderlarx !

The lad in question? Carl Ridlington, a high school chemistry teacher. An oh so normal chemistry teacher. Definitely not at all the disguise for Irken Invader Larx. Nope, nuh uh.

Carl was done as a 'Basic Character Model' commission, and was only the second human I've ever made in Blender. He was a ton of fun to make, and also a good learning experience! Them dang humans, they got like, ears and noses and stuff. And HAIR. No wonder Irkens don't like people hahah.
