Baby daddy Chronicles (1)
A/N: Here is the link to the full collection
Baby Daddy Attuma Chronicles on Ao3
“So,” Attuma popped a fry in his mouth and leaned into the table. His twins giggled, mimicking his motions and leaning in with him.
In a hushed tone, he asked. “What’s new in mommy’s life? Hm?”
The girls giggled again, looking between each other before going back to their dad. “We think she has a boyfriend.”
Attuma choked, hacking up a fit of coughs at the information. His girls laughed heartily as their father was on the verge of death. “Boyfriend?!” He said once his throat was clear. “Who is he?”
“Mmm. She told us to call him Mr. W’Kabi.”
“Who the f-“ The man caught his words as he realized where he was and who he was talking to. “What does he do while he’s there hm? Do mommy and him talk a lot?”
“No daddy. They kiss a lot and I don’t like him.”
“Yeah me neither. When are you coming back daddy?”
“Soon, baby. Real soon.”
————
It took him about half an hour to finish eating with his kids and shove them off to his mom’s house while he took a trip to the house he once called his own.
A navy blue hellcat was parked pretty in the driveway.
“Mother fucker.” Attuma grumbled as he marched across the yard and pounded on the door. “Okoye!”
He didn’t let up on the wood, only growing rougher when she took longer to answer.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?! Where are my kids?!” Our kids, he thought. But her nagging was ignored as he looked into the house.
“Where is he?”
“You have no right to know who’s here.”
“You got that man around our children and in our house. It’s my right as much as yours.”
As he took a breath, he took in what she was wearing, or rather not wearing. Just a silk robe, wrapped around her frame and leaving nothing to imagination. It made his blood boil.
“Oh so you hand the kids over so you can fuck him huh.”
“Fuck you Attuma!”
“I wish you would.” He stepped forward, welcoming himself through the threshold.
“Back the hell up.”
“I don’t see you making a move.” Attuma shrugged as they stood with no space between their bodies. His was hot, she could feel the heat radiating off of him as she resisted the urge to touch him.
The tension was thick as Attuma towered over her and Okoye failed to keep herself composed. Damn him for having such an affect on her. “Put your clothes on, kick him out, let me in.”
“This is over Attuma.”
“Is it? Haven’t noticed.” His arm snaked around her waist as she shivered. “Come back to me. I’m sorry.”
“Attuma-“
The creaking of the steps caused the hair on her neck to stand and suddenly she was pushing him as far as her strength would allow.
Before Attuma could invade her space again, W’Kabi came down the stairs. He was similarly bare, just a pair of jeans over his hips.
“Who’s this?” He questioned, looking between Attuma and Okoye.
“This is my ex. Father of the twins. He was just letting me know how they’ve been.” She lied through her teeth and nudged Attuma to go along with it.
“You couldn’t have called?” W’Kabi crossed his arms, giving Attuma the dirtiest look he could muster.
Attuma laughed, doubling over as he did it. He laughed for what seemed like an eternity before he spoke.
“This jackass? Really baby. Come on. If you’re gonna try to replace me at least do it with someone who could actually compete.”
“Get out, Attuma.” Okoye pushed him through the door slamming it shut behind him.
The man chuckled all the way back to his truck and waited there. It only took a minute before W’Kabi was following, getting into his car and driving away.

Stupid, silly Namor or Attuma fic ideas. Don’t think too hard about these they’re just funny little ideas. Pls tag me if you write or get inspired by any of these. Like always, there are no rules:
1. The reader is labeled as the village idiot because she likes to sing with her head underwater to "sing to the mermaids". The village ridicules her for it. One day, she is swept out in a riptide, and no one is willing to come to her aid—no one from the village, that is.
2. Reader is full of bad puns and dad jokes, much to the chagrin of Namor/Attuma. "Why are seagulls called seagulls?"
“Stop now.”
“Because if they flew over bays, they'd be bagels! Oh hey, What did one wave say to the other?"
“I swear, if you make one more ocean related pun, I will murder you on this island and tell everyone you died in a shipwreck."
"...well, someone's salty."
3. You put a message in a bottle and set it out to sea in the hopes it’ll reach Namor/Attuma so you can be pen pals. “Oh my god I love you but you’re so stupid.” They say because you have no idea that’s not how mail works.
4. You’re in love with Namor/Attuma, but you’re also obsessed with monsters and cryptids so you keep asking them questions like “Is the Kraken real?? What about 6 headed hydras? Have you seen Nessie?? Are they friendly? Darling tell meeeeeee”
5. Reader does that stupid prank thing where she pretends to do a magic trick with an egg and a bottle of water. She’s like “Ok now look inside” and squeezes the bottle, spraying water in Attuma/Namor’s face and runs away cackling.
6. You introduce Namor/Attuma to a wonderful human invention - Water beds. They are less than amused. Reader, consider your sexy time privileges revoked😑
7. Attuma/Namor trying to teach reader combat and how to fight like a Talokanil but reader keeps making it sexy and Namor/Attuma is like “Ok maybe we should stop. You’re not even listening to me or learning anything properly!” And reader is like “Oh I’m learning all the right techniques perfectly. 😏😘”
8. Those videos from EVNautilus of the people in a submarine coming across a dumbo octopus and a googly eyed stubby squid but instead it’s scientist reader being shown Talokan by Attuma or Namor and fawning over the sea creatures because they’re just little guys. Sweet underwater babies. And reader being like “it’s just a baby can I adopt it pls” 🥺 and Namor or Attuma being like “pay attention. Remember why we’re here.”
Tumblr media
9. “Your child brings home a raccoon, mistaking it for a cat and begs to keep it” trope but instead it’s Namor/Attuma and their child has brought home an anglerfish or some other hideous abomination of the sea. It’s surprisingly docile and follows the child around like a pet anyway so can we keep it??? Please father 🥺
10. Namor and Jeff the Land Shark crossover. That’s it. That’s the post. Reader wants to adopt Jeff as their child. He’s just a baby 🥺
11. Peter Pan “They were just having a bit of fun, weren’t you, girls?”
“We were only trying to drown her” Mermaid Lagoon AU
12. “General, I’ve brought the cartographer into the war meeting today. I believe you owe her an apology for ruining all her maps when you stab them to dramatically mark a location.” (What if the “cartographer” is actually Attuma’s small daughter or sister drawing doodles of maps and playing pretend/mirroring what her dad or brother does because she wants to help and it’s all in jest hehe)
13. 2 days ago you went to an animal shelter and adopted the most adorable cat. What you don’t know is, he’s the reincarnation of an Aztec god. Your food offerings are unacceptable and that ugly small box that feels like it’s made from scratchy carpet will not do. No. He’ll be sleeping in your bed with you. Don’t try to lock him out; he’ll just scream and sing the songs of his people until you let him back in. (Or maybe through a magic mishap Namor has been accidentally transformed into a cat. Yeah Namor as a cat AU. I told you these ideas were silly.)
14. “Would you still love me if I was a worm” meme With Namor or Attuma but instead it’s “Would you still love me if I was a sea cucumber” or something ocean related
15. Namor or Attuma are taking their daughter trick or treating this year and ask what she wants to be for Halloween. A superhero, a mermaid, a princess? No. She wants to be a horseshoe crab. Possible Modern AU.
16. Reader goes to the beach often and befriends the seagulls/pelicans. So they start to bring her gifts like shells, rocks, etc. Except one day they bring you a golden bracelet, beaded necklace, or jade earrings (your choice of which). It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. A few days later, Namor shows up at the beach, looking very annoyed as he asks for his necklace/bracelet/or earrings back.
17. You and Namor or Attuma meet on the beach in your special spot. You don’t get to be with him often considering he’s kept away by his responsibilities and loyalty to Talokan, and you’re human. It’s usually your only chance to have time where you can just quietly love each other. Except a stupid fucking seagull or pelican has been following you to both the beach and your home; squawking incessantly, wreaking havoc and basically cockblocking you. Untitled Goose Game AU but it’s a seagull/pelican.

New kind of family
A/N: I wanted to do a headcanon to get out of this writing slope I'm in right now. and I wanted to write a modern AU! with step-daddy Attuma cause why not. Here you go!
Tag Gang: @somethingcleaverandwhitty @pantherheart @mal-urameshi @xblackreader
When Okoye and Attuma finally realized that they wanted to take their relationship to the next level. They knew they would have to do it slowly because Fourth grade! Riri.
Riri was pretty cool with Attuma and viewed him more as Mama's "friend" like her Auntie Ayo would say in passing.
Riri is a nosy girl, hearing things she shouldn't be hearing. Then repeating it not knowing what she just said. She would be the one confronting her mama about her "friend." "But do you like like him?" Riri asked following her mother around. Okoye was trying to avoid the question because she had a certain way she wanted to tell her daughter, but Riri wouldn't be Riri if she learn to let things go. "I- mean he's okay, "Okoye would answer, Riri gave a groan at her mother's response she should be in love like all the Disney princess movies she watched with Shuri. "But do you like like him?" Riri repeated as she came closer to her mother, "Like you want to kiss him and get his cooties?" Okoye quickly shuts this conversation down, "Did you finish your Lego set yet?"
Attuma would try to be the best stepdad and young kid could ask for. Attuma quickly learns Riri's likes and dislikes.
Attuma definitely loved helping Riri in building Lego sets.
they also bound over swimming.
Youtube would be his friend when he wanted to learn how to take care of Riri's hair when Okoye sprain her wrist.
Attuma would be extra gentle when doing Riri's hair and though the parts would be wobbly Riri loves it because he would put beads in it.
Riri would be interested in Attumas culture. Attuma was more than happy to teach her about it.
When Riri and Okoye went with Attuma to visit his family. The family accepted them like their own.
The only rough path was Riri and Namora. Attuma was not really sure why the pair hated each other but it took some years for the pair to stop being snappy at one another.
When Riri showed interest in going to college outside of New York, Okoye wasn't having it.
"There are great colleges here," Okoye argued. not liking the thought of her only daughter going somewhere she couldn't be there if something happen.
When Okoye and Riri argue, Attuma learns quickly to stay out of it. He would rather be a fence sitter than pick a side between them.
But Attuma was able calm down Okoye's worries and Riri was able to go to MIT.
Attuma loves being a dad, something about loving his child in always but blood.

Do you have any headcanons and thoughts for Attoye babies (either bio and/or adopted)?
Hmmmm.
I always thought they adopt one Wakandan kid and one Talokanil kid to make it fair, a boy and a girl. But as they're going through the process of adoption, they find out Okoye is pregnant. Attuma LOSES HIS MIND in the best of ways and is super protective of Okoye. She's pretty much like "I'm pregnant, not dead, CHILL," lol. They have a girl and Attuma is totally a girl dad. Okoye is a little overprotective because she's been out and about in the world. The adopted kids fall in love with their baby sister of course and they are all equal siblings. Their daughter can live on both land and sea. But she does have to stay more hydrated on land and can't go super deep all the way down to Talokan on her own because she can't hold her breath indefinitely and take the full water pressure. However, Shuri develops a suit for their daughter and their fully Wakandan child so that the whole family can visit Talokan together (it's based on the same design Shuri did for Okoye as a wedding gift so Okoye can spend time in Talokan too).

In Normal au, it'd be hilarious if Erik, Attuma and Namor were roommates/friends.
Because I 100% just imagine Erik and Attuma doing this when Namor finally brings home the girl he's been "courting like a gentleman"/he thinks is the love of his life for montys.
Namor is torn between embarrassed, laughing and wanting to kill his friends. Shuri thankfully thinks its hilarious. So they got dressed and opened the door.
Erik stops dancing when he sees Shuri
"SHURI!"
"N'Jadaka!" Shuri looks like she's seen a ghost, Namor completely misreads what is happening.
"How does she know your birth name?" Namor pinning Erik to the wall. Not realizing, Erik can't explain with a tight hand on his windpipe. Attuma grabs Namor trying to keep him from breaking Eriks neck. (Erik guards his birth name to avoid dealing with his dad's family. So Namor only knows it because he's been friends with him for seven years. So Namor assumes they had to be close lovers.)
"Namor let him go, we're blood cousins he's turning Blue!"
Namor let's go.
"Oh....sorry."
"I'm just surprised you're cradlerobbing Namor. Thought you'd have taste for older ladies or at least your age."
"What are you talking about? She's in a masters program." (Namors in his early 30s, and assumed Shuri was like 27-29)
"A program she's been in since she was 17. She's not even 22 yet."
*Namor flustered and looks like a soul left his body. Because this means Shuri's rhe same age as his baby cousin Namora. He's overthinking so hard , smoke might come out his ears. But looking at Shuri , he still had deep feelings. But holy hell he feels like a creepy old guy hitting on a college freshman.
Attuma is just quietly watching this live soap opera now the fighting stopped.
"Sooo, Shuri hows auntie?"
"N'Jadaka for the love of Bast, shut up."
---
OP, Namor doesn't know how to move forward with this scene either 😭

» Domestic!Attoye || Attoye Prompt Drabbles || Master List « » Domestic Establishment #2 — Continuation of We need more room «
The scan Okoye had performed with her Kimoyo Beads had informed her that none of the bones in her foot had been broken, but the throbbing, which had just begun to settle down after five minutes of icing, had her doubting those results. On a positive note, her ears had finally stopped ringing. Instead of crying and shrieking at deafening decibels, her boys both sat happily in their highchairs. They babbled at one another as they ate the food, she’d hobbled back and forth in the kitchen to prepare for them.
They were the only babies she’d ever seen who ate everything placed in front of them without fuss or delay. They inherited their father’s appetite, she thought to herself, smiling as she remembered the antics she’d witnessed, as a teen, when her younger cousins had fought and cried, throwing food about because they didn’t want to eat. That could never be her boys. The most they did was bang their little plates, demanding more.
Her amusement with her sons’ stomachs was interrupted with the entrance of her husband and daughter. Uproarious laughter came from the pair, Attuma tickling Naleli as the girl snorted and begged him to stop, that was until he took note of the ice pack Okoye had placed on her foot, the limb elevated on the seat in front of her. Naleli, following her father’s eyes, also glanced at her, cackle stopping short.
“What has happened, my love?” Attuma asked over their daughter’s, “Are you okay, mom?” Attuma unhanded the girl, and she promptly made her way to her mother, engulfing Okoye in a hug.
“I’m okay, sweetie. My foot just had a run in with your brother’s highchair. It hurts, but the pain is fading.”
“Oh, okay,” Naleli smiled, “Should I kiss it to make it better,” the preteen joked, eyes bright in good humor.
As always, Okoye’s heart melted, everything within her chest turning to mush, when confronted with the adorableness of one of her children. Naleli had taken after her father, his dimples carved into each of her cheeks and creating the sweetest, most charming expression whenever she smiled. Okoye was hard-pressed to deny that face anything, but had learned early on that allowing her daughter’s every whim would lead to ruin.
“That won’t be necessary,” she answered, wiggling her fingers into Naleli’s abdomen. The girl giggled then jumped back out of Okoye’s reach.
“What you can do for me is take your brothers into the living room so that your father and I can talk.”
That piqued Attuma’s curiosity—drawing his attention from his sons, who both had begun gurgling and vying for his focus, while attempting to climb from their highchairs, from the moment he’d arrived. Placing the boys, who’d been climbing all over his person, on the ground, to their loud protests, he sat in a chair he moved adjacent to Okoye.
“Let’s go Eloy and Taavi. It sounds like dad might be in trouble,” Naleli threw over her shoulder as she dragged her toddling brothers out of the room.
Attuma snorted, but turned soft eyes on Okoye, faking a pout when he asked, “Am I in trouble, my love? What can I do to win your favor?”
Okoye gave him a hard look, glaring briefly and crossing her arms before sighing deeply to relax her face and limbs. She rolled her eyes, sighing again, unhappily.
“You were right,” she finally admitted. “We need more room. We have to move now, sooner rather than later.”
“I was right? It is not often that I hear such from your lips.” He leaned back in his seat, smug as he moved her foot from its perch on the chair to rest on his lap. He removed the ice pack to scrutinize the damage that had been done. He noticed several of her toes were swollen, but was satisfied that she was able to move them without difficulty.
“It doesn’t hurt as much,” she supplied, watching while he began to massage the rest of her foot.
“Does this have something to do with your sudden acceptance?”
“Yes, that and having to climb over your gigantic furniture and all the kids’ stuff in order to get across a room. The house is always a mess, and I can’t organize anything because there isn’t room for everything! We just need more space!”
Attuma increased the strength of his kneading, silently urging Okoye to calm.
“While I never want you hurt, I am pleased that you have finally agreed with me, especially as I have commissioned architects from both our nations to collaborate on the design of our new home.”

King Namor would always tell his two children stories of people who lived in the sea. These stories were their favorite bedtime stories when they were younger. Now, when their father tries to tell them more stories of people who lived in the sea, Prince Attuma and Princess Namora would just roll their eyes at their dad. The brother and sister duo liked to explore by way of sea constantly and had never seen these so-called people who live in the waters. Even though the two would constantly bicker while at home in the kingdom of Talokan they worked well together while sailing. They’ve been to multiple countries and most of the other continents together. They got their love of sailing from their father who would be at sea most of his days before Attuma was born. Then, he started sailing less and he kept it to a minimum when Namora was born. After their mother died in an accident when they were little King Namor gave up sailing all together. When his children were old enough he taught them to sail and had them continue in person trades with other countries.
Attuma watched as his sister swung gracefully over his head through the sails. Namora preferred to work the sails and observe the sea while he preferred to steer the ship. There were numerous Talokanil sailors tasked to go with them both for company and to keep them safe. Attuma was softly humming a tune that he remembered his mother singing to him and his sister. He heard a soft thump on the deck behind him and turned enough to see Namora behind him. Her long black hair was twisted up on top of her head, she wore a dark blue dress that went just a little past her knees and no shoes. She swore that the lack of shoes helped her get around the sails easier and he had shrugged in response. The crew was entirely men besides one other woman, their cousin Itzel, who was the ship’s cook. The crew had expressed concern over a woman working the sails but Attuma shut that down immediately. His little sister was perfectly capable of working the sails and she’d ask for help if she needed it, which wasn’t often. Underneath the crystal blue water off of the continent of Africa, there was an underwater kingdom called Wakanda. The kingdom housed an entire population of merfolk throughout their land. King T’chaka and Queen Ramonda had three kids, two daughters and a son. T’challa was the oldest, followed by Shuri and then Riri as the youngest. The three siblings were thick as thieves and constantly got into trouble together along with their cousins Eric and Okoye. The five young royal merfolk were giving King T’chaka gray hairs but his wife just laughed at their shenanigans. She was always telling him to let them cause trouble for now so that they’ll be better to rule their underwater nation together. Okoye and Riri always wandered too far from the castle while T’challa, Shuri and Eric preferred to stay close to home. Shuri could always find whatever she needed for her experiments not far off from the castle. T’challa and Eric were always either helping her gather things or trying to keep the wanderers close by. It could be exhausting being the only men out of the bunch but they wouldn't trade it for the world, they loved their sisters and would do anything for them.
Okoye and Riri had just returned to their little cave with more human items that they had found while exploring. The woman and young girl worked together to place the items with other ones like them. The two swam back and admired all of their human things that they’ve collected together over the years. “I wonder what it would be like to live on the surface.” Riri said to no one in particular. Okoye nodded in agreement then the two of them swam back towards the palace. On their way back they were accosted by a crab and a fish, Ayo and Aneka. Ayo was a mostly red crab although she had some purple dusting her shell. Aneka was a small but beautiful fish and she was mostly purple with some orange in the middle. “Where have you two been? We’ve been looking everywhere for you.” Ayo questioned as they all began to move towards the palace. “We’ve been out exploring, don’t worry we were being safe.” Okoye replied to the crab. Ayo began muttering something under her breath about not wanting children and Okoye rolled her eyes.
When the four entered the palace they went right to the throne room. King T’chaka, Queen Ramonda, Prince T’challa, Princess Shuri and Prince Eric were already there and waiting for them to arrive. “I’m sorry we’re late uncle, we lost track of time while exploring.” Okoye explained to the king. “Don’t worry dear niece, you aren’t that late. You’ve arrived before the council has.” Queen Ramonda answered in a gentle tone. Okoye nodded, then she and Riri took their places in their seats as the royal family waited for the council to join them for the meeting. It wasn’t long after Okoye and Riri joined their family that the council joined them as well. Ayo was standing on the armrest of King T’chaka’s throne while Aneka swam around The Princes and Princesses. Okoye looked at her brother and cousins and could see that they were all bored out of their minds. She was as well and wished she could just leave, the king along with his council weren’t ready to step down from ruling yet so why were they even here? The meeting felt like it lasted for millennia rather than the hour it probably actually lasted. As soon as they were excused the cousins left as fast as they could.
Namora sighed as she stared at the water over the side of the ship. Attuma had asked her to stay on board with Itzel and a few crew members because the person they were at port to trade with didn’t like women being present during negotiations. Her older brother had promised to take her to the market afterwards so she supposed it was ok that she was stuck on the ship. She never understood why men in other countries had such backwards thinking, maybe it’s because she was raised as an equal to her brother her whole life. She is an equal to her older brother and didn’t know why others didn’t get that. Namora paced around the ship while waiting for Attuma to return to take her to the market. He returned two hours later and took her with him to the market. The two looked around together when something caught her eye, it was a jade statuette that had a family of merfolk carved on it. She wordlessly held it up to her brother and he nodded then turned to the vendor to buy it for her. Once it was purchased she happily slipped it into the little satchel that she carried. Their father had made it for her on her twelfth birthday and it’s held up since then. She skipped along behind Attuma and got a few more trinkets to add to the collection in her room.
When the siblings returned to the ship that got ready to set sail to Africa. They had a client there who was willing to give them cloth and other things in exchange for some weapons. Talokan always kept enough weapons for its military but they preferred not to use them. They were more than happy to give others who needed them the weapons that sat collecting dust. Namora was back up amongst the sails while Attuma was behind the steering wheel. Several of the other crew members hoisted the anchor so they could set sail again. Once the anchor was up they slowly moved their way out of the harbor and towards the open sea. When they hit open water they were met with a strong gust of wind and started to travel faster.
Okoye and Riri decided to head towards the town on the west coast of Africa where they liked to watch the townsfolk. They watched people walking around the market that was near the water from behind a rock. They were far enough out that hardly anyone looked that way and even if they did, they wouldn’t spot the mermaids with the way they were looking around the rock. Okoye saw two people walking by together with a few men trailing behind them. The two seemed to be brother and sister so the people behind them might be a crew or guards of some sort. The tall man that was walking alongside the girl was a handsome man. His long dark hair was tied back into a ponytail and he watched his sister as she sometimes skipped a ways ahead of him. “Wow, he’s gorgeous.” Okoye whispered. “Where is he? I want to see the man you’re looking at too.” Riri whispered excitedly and Okoye showed her. Her eyes widened as she looked at the siblings. “Woah, he is gorgeous and so is the girl with him. They look like they’re away from home though.” Riri babbled with excitement. Okoye had to admit that her young cousin was right, they had never seen these two around before. ‘I wonder where they came here from.’ she thought as the two continued to watch them.
Namora sat outside their clients home and was pouting, of course he was another man that looked down on women. She was grateful to be off the ship this time and on solid ground. She turned and looked out to the vast expanse of the sea, hoping they’d return home soon. She loved to travel with her older brother but they’d been away from home for a while now and she misses their father. While she was looking at the sea, Namora could’ve sworn that she saw two heads out in the water. The girl shook her head then rubbed at her eyes, it’s official, she’s been at sea for too long. Attuma had promised this was their last trading destination then they’d head home. He didn’t return to her until nearly three hours later and he took her to dinner at a place that their client recommended, this was his way of apologizing for taking so long. After dinner they went back to the ship and decided to stay in harbor for the night because some fishermen and other sailors said a storm was going to blow through a few miles out from the town. Namora slept buried against her brother’s side that night due to the thunder and he held her tight.
Okoye and Riri decided to recruit the others to follow this ship they had seen to see where it went back to. T’challa, Eric and Shuri agreed to follow them and told the king and queen that they needed some supplies further out from home. The ship stayed overnight in the town’s harbor due to a bad storm a few miles out. The next morning the five cousins tailed the ship as it headed out to the sea. They knew it’d be a while before they reached wherever they were going. They coasted in the wake coming from the ship and would take turns popping their heads up to look at the people on the ship. They all agreed that the crew of the ship were very beautiful people. This knowledge made them eager to see where the ship returned to. It took a few days but they finally entered the waters close to the continent of North America. They followed the ship cautiously but they didn’t head towards the country now called The United States. The ship pulled into a harbor that was outside a kingdom and was met with a man on the dock that had graying hair. The girl half launched herself off the ship and into the man’s arms causing them to realize that this was the siblings’ father.
Attuma was happy to be home but he couldn’t help thinking that he was going crazy. Occasionally on their voyage home, Attuma could’ve sworn he’d seen heads in the water. Namora agreed with him and said she saw the same thing in the water. One of them was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, she looked a little older than him and had long hair that was braided. When asked about it Namora said she’d seen a girl about her age who also had braided hair. They wondered if they’d be able to somehow meet these people who live in the water. One night, the siblings go down to the dock to see if they could spot the people again. It wasn’t long before five heads emerged from the water. There were two men and another woman with them, he assumed they were family members. They all talked to each other for hours and the merfolk even showed off their colorful tails. There was even a fascinating colored crab and a beautiful colored tropical fish.
The group of royals discussed random topics until Namora and Attuma saw a lantern coming towards them from the palace. The group split up with promises of seeing each other again as soon as they could. By the time the guards reached the brother and sister the merfolk were already gone. They walked back to the palace with questions on how to help their new companions live on land with them.

Homecoming (Namor X Black OC) Chapter 3
Read On AO3 Previous Chapter Next Chapter
description: After being away from home for so many years due to school keeping Adella busy she's finally able to go home after her hard work pays off but what she didn't expect was such an eventful homecoming.
Four days that’s how long I’ve been here four days. It’s not that I hated it here it’s quite peaceful. I’m sure someone is worried about me there but non other bit the king himself lets me know he has everything under control.
At least I’m not kept in this room by force. Everyone I met so far has been nice except the girl named Namora. I don’t know what her deal is but she’s constantly side-eyeing me as if I called her dog an ugly rat or stepping on her white shoes.
Attuma, on the other hand, has been very friendly well that’s whenever he does come around.
“The shaman is here to speak with us.” I jump from the sudden boom in volume. I clutch my chest and turn around.
“ I’m gonna need to put a bell on you or something because you can’t keep doing that.” He smiled and crossed his hands behind him.
“ I did make myself known you simply were deep in thought.” He gestured to the door and we exited the room
“Did you enjoy your breakfast?” He asked trying to make small talk as we ventured down the hallway.
“Mhm it was nice but lonely….. the only person I talk to is Attuma but he isn’t always around and you.”
He hummed “ what about-“
“She does not like me K'uk'ulkan.”
“You don’t know that.” I stopped mid-stride and stared at him.
“ I know when someone likes me and when they don’t and she does not either you have seen the looks she has given me or you choose to be oblivious to the fact that she believes I don’t belong here.”
He took a deep breath but didn’t say anything only clenched his jaw as if I had disrespected him.
“We should go before we are late.” He cleared his throat and waited for me to start walking again.
He held the door open for me and I walked in greeted by a couple of people.
K'uk'ulkan and the others conversed back and forth then the man led me to sit down.
“Since you don’t know the language yet I’ll translate.”
I nodded my head and sat there. Hopefully there’s some clarity from this because things are still not making sense.
“There was no escaping this even if we wanted to essentially everything was planned out by our god.”
“So your god had my life planned out how does that make any sense when I don’t worship him?”
“You might have not but your ancestors did well your other ones.” I assume he’s talking about my nonblack ancestors the ones that come from my dad's side
“ I’m not sure that’s true just like the other indigenous people. My ancestors were colonized by the Spanish, and all the families that I know of are Catholic.”
He hummed and looked back at the man who just stared at me. He shook his head and started talking to K'uk'ulkan
“He said our tribe wasn’t the only one who believed in the same god…the name of them is unknown seeing as how they got forced by the Spanish but they never consumed the plant but they farmed with the same soil it came from.”
I nodded my head all of this was just crazy to me. What is that supposed to mean?
“ so….”
“ meaning that your ancestors only got part of the gift from our shared god.”
Gift? What could that-
“So that’s why my family were good swimmers and always loved by the ocean.” I gasped and bit my thumb nervously.
“ which explains why you were dangerously deep in the ocean.” He said watching me nervously nibble at my finger.
“ I happen to be a great swimmer with excellent lung capacity that depth was nothing compared to what I could really do without needing an oxygen tank and before the pressure gets too much.”
“You still shouldn’t have been that far down not for a surface dweller.” Is he scolding me? Sure it’s my fault but I was trying to help.
“Well, excuse me for putting my marine biology degree to use. I don’t just go frolicking around hoping to get killed but saved in the last minute by a handsome man that I saved hours  before.”  He raised an eyebrow
“The gods definitely picked a good one out for me.” He scoffed.
“You know you’re the last person that should be talking because look how many times I saved you that night?”  I rolled my eyes and huffed some nerve of that man.
The man cleared his throat and we both looked at him. He gave both of us a serious face but only  K'uk'ulkan had a face that expressed terror.
“What? What did he say?”
“The more we reject our fate of being destined for one another, spending time apart due to quarrels and fail to consummate our marriage bad things will continue to happen which will eventually end in both of our deaths.”
I gulped and ferociously started to move onto biting on my nail so being able to leave is out of the picture. Going back to my regular life is long gone I’m stuck here.
I lower my head and cover my face with my hands overwhelmed by feeling tears begin to fall from my eyes.
I’m never gonna get to see my only family left, they are probably worried sick I should’ve minded my own damn business.
I soon felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me only making me cry harder mourning the life I once had. All because of a god I don’t even worship had my life planned out.
I felt his plump lips briefly press against my forehead shocking me but the tears still flowed. Was this his way of trying to comfort me?
“We will figure it out okay.” He rubbed my back and hummed. I blocked out the rest of the conversation they were having. I no longer was interested and truthfully I was over it. Shortly after he lifted me up placing his hands under my butt I instinctively wrapped my legs around him not wanting to fall. Once again his lips met my forehead, “if there were another way I wouldn't put you through this.”
-
He dropped me back off to my room and talked for a bit before he had to leave once again, but Attuma kept me company when he stopped by to talk
As I conversed with Attuma joking around and enjoying downtime with him I felt a pair of eyes burning holes into the side of my face.
I look over and see K'uk'ulkan glaring at me while clutching his jaw. I raised my brow confused if something was bothering him. He needed to say something I don’t read minds.
“Once you're able to come out  and meet everyone I’ll take you to where the whales stay.” My eyes went wide and clapped my hands
“No, you're pulling my leg you guys have whales.”
He nodded, “yes, when we have long trips we take them out as transportation.”
“So how does dating work here fill me in? I’m sure it’s much different than what I’m used to.”  Attuma went to open his mouth but got interrupted by a scoff coming from the corner of the room.
“Um,” he cleared his throat, “yes though I don’t know too much about how surface dwellers date we do courting it’s a process.”
“Ah I see, I’m sure that’s a wonderful experience.”
“  Yaan deberes ku, kin tsoolik u xeej a beetej le je'elo'”    (You have duties to attend to I advise you to go do that)
I jump from the sudden base in K'uk'ulkan voice. I shoot a glare at him and Attuma swiftly stood up. I go to reach out for his hand
But once again I’m startled by his shouting. Attuma nodded his head and didn’t look back.
“Why did you do that why did you make him leave?” I stood the only person that  wants to talk to me forced to leave because someone wants to have a hissy fit
“You learned nothing today did you?” He cursed under his breath and walked closer to me.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
He scoffed, “you act like you don’t know what I’m talking about how can someone so smart be so-“
“Don't you dare finish that sentence!”  I said sternly
“You bat your eyes at my best worrier and reach out for his hand, YOU ARE MY WIFE ADELLA!”
I chuckled and rubbed my temples, “you mistake my kindness for flirting”
“ I didn't mistake anything I know what I saw!”
“Well, get your fucking eyes checked out because you saw wrong. And it’s clear you need that hearing if yours checked as well because if YOU recall I told you he’s the only one that talks to me!”
“Bullshit Adella BULL FUCKING SHIT if you just tried to be nice to nam-“
I scoffed and threw my hands up in the air. “ I’m done with this conversation.”
I walked away only for him to grip my wrist trying to pull me back. I look at my wrist and up at him and snatch it away from him.
“How can you call me your wife when  you don’t care to spend time with me, stick up for your cousin when she’s the one being rude to me respectfully, fuck you K'uk'ulkan.” I scoff. “It's funny that I thought when you were comforting me this morning that I could accept my fate, but no, I think I would rather die.”
I didn’t care to listen to his response I needed to get away from here.
_
I sit at the edge of the cave with my toes dipped into the water that delves deeper into the ocean. I couldn’t help but admire the glow worms they mimicked the night sky. Who would have thought I would have missed something as small as that something that’s a given and often taken for granted?
Will I ever be able to go back home? What’s the point of staying here especially when it feels like I’m not wanted?
My breath hitched as I heard footsteps moving closer to me. I turned around to see
K'uk'ulkan was not dressed in his usual royal attire his eyes were soft as if they were calling out to me.
“ Adella.” His voice echoed bouncing off the cave walls.  He gestured to the spot near me and I hesitantly nodded my head. He owns the cave after all who am I to deny him?
“ I want to apologize to you.” He cleared his throat and looked over at me, “I'm disgusted and disappointed by the behavior I exhibited hours ago. It wasn't right for me to curse at you much less raise my voice. I let jealousy blind me.”
“I-I'm just new to all of this. These emotions six days ago I was just a king looking after my people and keeping them safe then out of nowhere I get hit with this intense feeling towards you….that’s why I was trying to leave so quickly when you saved me… I didn’t like the feeling because it was unnatural to me unknown but how I acted back there is not how I was raised and I feel ashamed that the side even got out.”
He looked away but quickly pinned his eyes back on me.
“ And you were right about Namora. You are my partner now my wife In reina I should have believed you when you expressed how you felt. As for my cousin, she simply doesn’t do well towards people outside our tribe, and I’m not taking her side when I say this nor does it excuse her behavior but she just doesn’t know how to properly express herself.”
All of this could have been avoided if he had just talked to me and listened.
“And with that, I'm sorry In reina” I looked at him he didn’t have that stern look on his face he was extremely apologetic. Not that his words hadn’t expressed that.
“ I’m sorry too I also shouldn’t have cursed at you or said I would rather die that was a little bit extreme. I accept your apology as well…after having some time to cool down I realized I was just hurt by your actions and acted on emotions.”
He nodded his head and maintained eye contact. I looked down at my feet feeling intimidated by his gaze. “I just felt attacked. Attuma is the only person that talks to me. The women who come and bring me food and clothes just smile and don’t say a word. You're never around only when it’s important matters or to see how I was doing. When trying to talk to the girl I thought looked like a fun person to be friends with constantly looked down at me like I was chum it hurt.”
“ I wasn’t trying to come off as flirting in that conversation I had with him I simply wanted to know more about the people I would be spending my life with. And knowing that you guys haven’t been taken over by the Spanish made me wonder what are the differences and dating was the first thing that popped up.”
“My mother would be very disappointed in my actions and I’m deeply sorry for that not just because I know my mother would disapprove but because I misunderstood you.”
I looked up from my feet and our eyes met. I had him a soft smile. I laid back on the surprisingly warm rock and started up at the glow worms.
“Emotions are crazy,” I said. He chuckled softly and joined me in laying on the rock.
“Out of the  five hundred years I’ve been alive not once have I met a woman that drives me crazy as much as you do.”
“If I were given the chance I wouldn’t have turned you right away. I would have courted you taught you my language showered you with your favorite fruit and jewels.”
“It's not too late for all those things. We might be married but we know nothing about each other.” He hummed agreeing with me well at least I think that’s what he was doing
“ You're right.” He got up and held his hand out for me to grab. I take it, “come on let me take you somewhere.”
He smiled at me and before I knew it we were in the water. You know that feeling you get when you get a strong gust of cool air that’s what I felt like being in the water again.
He smiled at me and gestured for me to follow him. I didn’t stall to see what was in store. This was the first time I actually had left the cave. I was excited to be anywhere but there.
“follow the current, don’t fight it.” He said shortly after I felt a rush of water push past me he grabbed my hand and nodded his head to reassure me that everything was okay.
I wasn’t used to this speed back on land. If you get caught in something like this it meant death but here it meant faster transport to wherever we were going. The feeling almost replicated what it was like going head first down a slide in those play areas they have at fast food restaurants.
But soon enough I was there.
“ welcome to Talokan.”

Raising Kids: Attuma's Version 🩵 ft. Tadeas
Tumblr media
Updating My Universe Read on AO3
Warm reds and yellow over their windows cast a homely cozy feeling in his brand-new home. He was grateful and blessed to have the life he did.
The suds and warm water always made Tadeas happy as a baby. He would fall asleep in his father's hands. Attuma had to hold his little arms up to bathe him gently. A low melodic humming as his father kisses his curls.
Tadeas sleepily pushes his father's face away for the fifth time as he kisses his fat cheeks and whines, huffing.
As he pulled his son from the bath and enveloped him in a towel, Attuma sighed, he was always happy to pamper his children his way because they were the cutest things on Earth to him.
Tadeas drooling on his chest and gripping at his hair in a tiny hand… He was smitten from the day he first set eyes on his two children. Even when…
“Weee!” The quick and sloppy pitter-patter of wet tiny feet echoed through the home, creating puddles on their new wood flooring.
“Xyanza! Come back here at once!” His wife called, and he turned to see her running full speed through the lounge room with a towel.
Tiny, soaking wet, and naked as the day she came into this world, Xyanza ran through their home, the bubbles in her hair leaving a trail of destruction throughout the house. “hee hee hee!”
The little eel slipped and pattered around her mother, a defiant wide smile on her perfect chubby face as Okoye, swatted at her with a towel like it was a fish net, trying desperately to catch her daughter, “Slippery bitch…” She hisses when Xyanza slipped between her legs. The tiny toddlers brightening laughter filled their home and warmed Attuma’s heart. It was Okoye’s turn to bathe Xyanza and while he loved his daughter more than life itself, she could be a handful.
“Okoye…” Attuma sighed, drying off his son and playfully biting one of his little fists when Tadeas made to punch him with a giggle. “My love, please do not call our daughter a ‘slippery bitch’.”
Okoye wrinkled her nose at her husband, “She doesn’t understand… And she is being evil on purpose.” The evil eel in question blubbered at her mother’s glare as Okoye finally caught her arm and scooped her up, ignoring how Xyanza kicked and pretended to cry. “You will bathe!”
Attuma snorted and ran the towel over his son’s neck, “Well, she may not be able to understand now, but when they can speak, she will ask you why you used to call her a ‘bitch’.”
“Bitch…” Tadeas said, poking his head out from his father’s arm.
A tense silence shrouds the room.
Tadeas had been a late bloomer. He had been walking and crawling and was picking up on running, but at 18 months old he still had not said his first word… Attuma thought it was because his son seemed more of a ‘reserved and observant type’. Okoye said he had sharp eyes that cut words and large pupils that seemed to absorb everything they could.
Attuma stands stock still and Okoye holds tight to a squirming girl she gave birth to.
“Okoye… Was that his first…” His tone was void of emotion and Okoye did not want to be blamed for this, even though she was certainly to blame for this.
“Bitch!” Tadeas said again, thinking no one had heard him.
The wife in question, spun around and made a guilty face. “Oop-”
“Okoye! See what you have done! You’ve corrupted my son!”
Okoye spun back around incredulously and placed her free hand on her chest. “How is it that I am to blame?! You said it!”
“You said it first!” Attuma ran a hand over his face and groaned pitifully. His son’s first word…
The toddler in his arms looked about his family and tried something else. “Yuum… Yum…”
Attuma didn’t even bother to acknowledge the uncharacteristic gasp that left his throat as he looked back at his precious son again. The smile and pride on his face emboldened Tadeas as he wanted to show his father all he had learned!
“Bitch! Yuum, Bitch!” Tadeas tried again, grabbing his father by the face and asking for a reaction. Attuma holds up the baby glaring at the chubby kicking legs. He whispers to Tadeas, “Someday I will punish you for this. Not now, You are too young to punish now.”
Attuma kissed his child on the head and swaddles him deeper in the towel, ignoring how Tadeas flailed, and walks away toward the children's room, without another word.
Xyanza looked at her mother, deciding to behave now. Okoye looked at her daughter.
The tiny eel’s smirk grew. “Oooooh…” and Okoye kissed her teeth, pouting and tossing Xixi over the shoulder. “You’re taking an extra long bath.”
“Mm No!” Xyanza cried but did not have the vocabulary to tell Okoye why.
However, needless to say, Attuma did not speak to Okoye for the rest of the day. He is pouting and gives her the cold shoulder for almost a week until she convinces Tadeas to say “I love Yuum.” and then all is forgiven.
14 years later…
The bowl of fruit in Attuma’s hand was light. It reminded him of how easily his daughter used to fit inside his arms. Now she was taller than her mother and nearly as tall as him. It seemed like yesterday all his children were just younglings… reaching up to him when he came home asking to be picked up and swung around. Attuma sighed wistfully and smiled. He had six beautiful children now.
Tadeas is training outside, while the rhinos watch him. He flings his axe, forward and sideways as he attempts to get a handle on the newly added weight of the vibranium blade. His oldest moved growing locs from his eyes and took sporadic moments to swing the staff in his other hand and gain momentum on his perry. A few moments later, his daughter comes down and joins her brother, waving to her father when she spots him. His son follows her wave and spots his father as well, rolling his shoulders back as he prepares to put on a show.
Cocky with something to prove… he was just like how his father had been at his age.
Attua thinks back to when his son was different and yet the same, quiet and reserved but for reasons unknown, He thought back to holding him and…
His first words…
Attuma grimaced as he scowled toward where his wife was resting with the baby in her room. He was still mad about that. Attuma turned back toward his children to watch them train, as his youngest daughters, Kuhle, Yolotli, and Nobomi ran from the grass to sit and watch Tadeas and Xyanza train together. Spears and wood clashed as Tadeas advanced on his sister, shooting looks at his sisters when they cheered him on, and kissing his teeth when they cheered for Xyanza…
Someday I will punish you for this. Not now, You are too young to punish now…
“Hm.” Attuma sniffed, placing the bowl of fruit on the counter. "Mm." He made up his mind.
Xyanza turns her attention toward the house when she sees the creak of the door closing. Her father silently makes his way over and the triplets stand to greet him, chirping in his ear as two of them jump on his back and arms. “Yuum! We went to the reef in class today and caught our own pearls!” Attuma made an affirming sound as he never ceased his walking toward his two sparring twins.
Xyanza jumped back from Tadeas and faced her father, “Any notes, Baba?”
No response except a head shake as Attuma finally makes his way to tower over his rapidly growing eldest son.
Tadeas puffs out his chest proudly and looks up at his father preparing for some notes or sometimes just praise.
His father looks down at his son for a few moments and firmly pushes him to the ground.
His sisters all cackle wildly while their brother sputtered in surprise and dusted the dirt off his skirt and chest. Even the rhinos snort with laughter, and Tadeas glares at them.
Attuma nodded to himself and scooped up his triplet daughters; smiling at his thoroughly embarrassed son triumphantly when all his girls laughed. Then he walked back into the house wordlessly.
Tadeas shook in disbelief, “Why? I- Wha- YUUM! WHY?!?”
"You know what you did!"
info on the Attoye kids!
A/N: The way Attuma must've been in the house proudly watching his son and then suddenly reliving that moment, and his face suddenly went from happy to more and more furious until he just flew out the door. 😂
“Let me go push my son, let me go humble my son.”
his son will be reporting this transgression to their commander in chief…
“MAMA! Mama! Dad shoved me!”
“He is lying. I did not.”

Omg, I had no idea you also eat balut! I looked it up and the banana leaves, the vinegar, the spices. I looked up some other Cambodian food and it reminds me of this Instagram video I saw the other day with this Cambodian girl visiting her mother. Her mother made shrimp fried rice and a couple other dishes and it almost made me tear up a little because of how familiar it looks. It looks like the fried rice my mom taught me how to make, especially if it's cooked in a big wok that's scratched and slightly burned at the bottom from years of use. Plus the little vinegar on the side with minced garlic and chili peppers. If I ever find it again I'll send it to you. I'm looking at desserts now and you're right too about the coconut and palm sugar! We also use banana plantains and mangoes, and let's not forget the banana leaves (what is NOT wrapped in banana leaves or rice paper, lol). You're right that there's similarities between our cultures even if we speak different languages, and I just love that about us. And what I find especially endearing is our abbreviation as Southeast Asians, it's SEA. It's just so 🤍
*hugs you tightly* I remember learning a little bit about that in school, it's sad it's briefly talked about in class and I only learned more about it from reading YA books at the library. There was a book I read from the school library when I was 12 years old that I cannot remember what it was called, but I vividly remember the cover and the story because it stuck with me more than 10 years later. It was about a Cambodian girl where she and her older sister were put in a camp and she loved her sister dearly, but her older sister died before they could make it to the United States. Her memory of her was them dancing together and she carries her memory with her whenever she dances. I feel the 70s was a hard time for SE Asia because my dad was in college, my mom in high school at the time too when the Philippines was put under martial law during the Marcos dictatorship. Particularly in the province my family is from, there were a lot of massacres and brutality from the dictatorship. My dad told me he even remembers there was a time a lot of Vietnamese people came to the Philippines to escape the war. Not pitting us against other Asian nations, but you are right and I feel that SE Asian nations have a specific kind of generational and cultural trauma from colonialism that is different compared to other nations, even if some of us are separated by a sea. It's a pain we all feel and a wound we all suffer from in some way. But we are stronger when we stand together 🤍🤍
I know that got kinda dark so back to the lighter stuff! I can totally imagine Namor and Namora casually eating Cambodian food, not minding the spice but don't tell Attuma it's spicy until he starts coughing and sweating. That's what he gets for oversleeping and missing their morning meeting 🤣🤣🤣
For balut, we call it something else lol (pong thea koun). But yes, many dishes we do share, and i think it’s the infuences from trade route and such. We eat rice with spoon and fork too, and if we do it traditional way, definitely by hand, on the straw mat 🤣 Also we use banana leaves, lotus leaves, and palm leaves as well ! the thing that I miss the most while living here is drinking palm juice out of bamboo tubes. The taste just so distinct, and there’s nothing like it. I remember when I was young and visited my grandfather’s hometown, and the island was fully of mangoes! I remembered eating the green ones because I love sour mangoes more than the ripe one tbh, dipping them in spicy shrimp paste or spicy chili salt.
The 70′s was truly a really tragic time for most SEA people. My in-laws were actually among the Vietnamese refugees a then camp at the Philippine. I think they were there for about two years before they managed to come to the US. My relatives were refugees in Malaysia/Indonasia. Everyone was trying to escape war and find a better life. They have to leave everything behind, and honestly, that sort of trauma does stick with you to these days, even generation later.
But yes, moving from the dark stuff, I need Attuma to introduce me to fresh water dolphin! There’s a legend about it, and I need to know if it’s true 🤣🤣🤣 I imagine him just hanging out by the river dock, and calls me over to meet his friend, the fresh water dolphin that everyone thought went extinct.

TL,DR at the bottom. I'm gonna talk alot.
🎆✨️ And with that, the 2022 season has come to an end. What do I say about that? ✨️🎆
Life's wild, ain't it? This time last year, I had covid. Had to quarantine for two weeks in my apartment and settle for watching the distant fireworks throughout the neighborhood from my living room window.
It was the beginning of many things. I took the two weeks to try to be more than a human whose whole personality was working all the time. I started to learn how to cook. I began to practice yoga. I watched a LOT of YouTube video essays.
Tumblr media
Shortly before I got covid, I was trying to watch all the relevant Marvel movies and shows to see No Way Home in theaters. Depression really liked to eat my memories and keep me from watching any of the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Which broke my heart because Spider-Man was my first and favorite Marvel character for the majority of my life. I'd never seen Doctor Strange (2016) before, and after six years, all I got out of it was my dilf fetish and comfort character, Doctor Stephen Strange. Armed with a new fictional boyfriend and time on my hands, I got back into ❤️‍🔥𝖋𝖆𝖓𝖋𝖎𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓❤️‍🔥.
Tumblr media
Reacquainted myself with ao3 and eventually followed my favorite writers back here.
Tumblr. The Doctor Strange fanfiction community. The Benedict Cumberbatch fans. You guys truly make this place feel like a site I WANT to be on. How happy you are to interact with your readers. How you actively crave and encourage it. How you'll talk about your real-life problems and stresses. How you remind me every day this site is horny jail, and we love that for us. People like @wint3r-h3art and @dino-fart have become people I enjoy seeing a message from.
Its been said before, but fuck it. Reading your writings has been a spot of brightness in my life. A breath of fresh air after working inside a stuffy room all day. A candle you protect with your hand against the wind on your way to light a birthday cake. You people took a strictly completed works only, explicit rated smut reader and have me equally as happy reading about queer platonic dynamics with this old white man. Can't forget to shout out a little love for my Namor y Attuma homies, too. I want to sit on Attuma meaty thighs and be baby girl. 🎀
I'm very behind on a lot of stories from various people on here. But my goal is to catch up a little every night so I can enjoy all the hard work and love you guys pour into each one.
Tumblr media
Most of my life, I felt limited. I didn't deserve love, kindness, boundaries, or space to express myself freely through my bedroom or clothes. Dad died of cancer when I was two, and I had an abusive stepfather until I was seventeen. I never traveled outside of Chicago or the Chicagoland area in general more than once every five or six years. I worked jobs since I was sixteen to struggle to pay to have some sort of life. I had some wack ass core beliefs about myself.
I'm currently in New York with a good friend of mine and fellow artist Claü. Her Instagram is @claudiarts because we support the people we love, goddammit. We celebrated the new year at a dive bar, eating grapes under the table so I can finally get some decent dick or pussy from a decent human this year. Maybe a real cool friend with benefits. Maybe a Splenda Pappy that I can work some unresolved issues out on his dick.
Tumblr media
After that, I had a nice blackout that led to us losing half the next day and finally trying New York pizza.
New York is Chicago with organized chaos. Surprisingly, the people are not as mean as I was led to believe. It's like how everyone talks about all the gun violence in Chicago. Meanwhile, Peoria, IL, is sitting in the corner hoping nobody notices it. Everyone looks so fashionable. The food is mouth-watering. The architecture is spectacular. This place is ALIVE. It makes me want to travel even more. Become more cultured. Worldly.
Gotta make sure to go take a selfie in front of Doctor Strange's place.
I've been tattooing for a little over two years now. Managing it for a year and a half. It pays more than enough. I can afford insurance. I have an apartment by myself. My fridge is always full. I still sometimes can't believe I'm a real successful tattoo artist. I've debated posting my art and tattoos on here or linking my actual Instagram. I'm grateful every day I get to do my dream job.
Tumblr media
I still daydream of affection and love. But, I have a small group of coworkers at the shop who I can truly call friends. I have male friends who actually like me as the perverted, all black wearing, tomboy who likes to draw dicks. They're some real ones. With the support system I'm building, I can eventually tackle dating dating. Just gotta keep working on myself and wait for the thumbs up from my therapist.
Unfortunately, a few minutes into the new year, my mom's apartment was part of the apartments in her building that got damaged by a fire. A fire started by a 90 something year old neighbor lady who never thought leaving a candle next to a Christmas tree was somehow a bad idea. So that leaves my mom, brother, and sister without a place to stay. Except now, they're sleeping over at my apartment, and I knew I should have put my dildo and Hitachi away before I left. Fuck my life, Bing bong. It be like that sometimes.
Anyways, I've been typing this for over an hour already. So Happy New Year, wishing everyone a better year than the last, and to never lose sight of who you are.

TL,DR: Happy New Year, Tumblr writers make the world a better place to be in, tattooing, Doctor Strange, I deserve things, and my mom's homeless.

Bored Writer
So thanks to the ever so frickin amazing artwork of @angerydj I've been craving to write an au where The Cabal from Avengers Assemble find a baby and have to settle their differences with one another AND get used to being 'dads' I also wanted to do a thing where they're all associated with a different word meaning "male parental figure" Papa - Modok (it was the only one left, prolly gonna make this the baby's first word, directed only at him because he's gonna have a harder time getting used to putting aside his work for this "little crotch goblin") Pop - Red Skull (he's old) Father - Attuma (he didn't want to get fully attached because his daughter's kind of a... female dog) Padre - Hyperion (he thought it sounded cool) Dad - Dracula (daddy drac~) When the Avengers find out why they've been slower with crime and such they try to help out with the baby stuff but get immediately rejected with a tidal wave pointed at the tower, a hyper beam from God knows where that destroys an entire lab, a visit from vampires lead by Hyperion, and some fun Hydra leads that were all false and go absolutely no where. Also no, none of them will be in relationships with one another. But Dracula's wives (from Blood Feud for like 2 second grabbing at iron Man, it's an entire headcanon I don't wanna get into) might show up, Attuma's ex will definitely make an appearance to try to fight off the new girl only to see that the other parents are men, then she'll prolly just laugh at him for a solid 3 sentences. Red Skull, being the old man he is, also has a headcanon about him getting a cat and embracing being a grumpy old fart. Hyperion doesn't think anyone is worthy of 'loving' him and Modok left the dating game out of disappointment a while ago.

My Attoye’s Kids Headcanons!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
💗 They have two twins (16 a boy and girl) three triplet daughters (10) and one last son (4) 🧞
• Names:
‘Rhino and the Eel’ Twins: Tadeas and Xyanza (16)
Piranha Triplets: Yolotli, Kuhle, and Nobomi (10)
Youngest son: N’kani (2)
• info:
The triplets and Xyanza can all breathe water and air. Xyanza also has siren song.
Tadeas can not. His bones are dense and his blood can withstand deep water pressures but he cannot breathe water. So when he visits Talokan he has to only wear a mask. Tadeas wants to be just like his Father and trained hard to be able to hold his breathe for a long time and swim like his sisters but he still is jealous.
His sister has always been very sweet but a great protector of her brother and often of others. She hates bullies and does not like it when people are harmed or picked on without reason. The twins used to be attached at the hip until they started training.
Tadeas showed no mercy and Xyanza was disgusted by his indifference to innocent lives. Now they fight often (verbally and physically).
Their oldest son had the same kinda relationship with rhinos as his dad does with sharks. He loved the rhinos since he was very small.
He’s very large like his father and has long dread locs and wears rhino horns and armor like his fathers, he uses an axe that’s wider and flatter than his fathers battle axe.
But when he’s really young he witnesses a bunch of poachers kill one of his favorite rhinos. He tells his dad. And Attuma absolutely slaughters them for trespassing and just bc
and since then Tadeas kinda has always had a distaste of people from colonizing countries. In his mind, they are good for nothing but stealing and murdering. He has no empathy for most colonizers or even just surface countries at all.
He has no problem killing many even if they’re innocent but his twin sister who is a training Dora/midnight angel always stops him. She’s the voice of reason.
His sister is a tall muscular but pretty lean woman who is more of stealth person rather than a mercenary like her brother. They call her the eel bc on her missions she is able to slip on and out of licked down high security easily. She doesn’t like to kill but she’s very quick and her blade is untraceable so if she must take a life, it won’t be torturous even if they’re a monster. She’s the little assassin.
Xyanza was trained to be a part of her mother’s Army, but she decided instead, she wants to be a war dog like Nakia. She hasn’t told her mother though. She’s a bit rebellious bc she doesn’t really listen, where as her twin brother absolutely worships the ground their parents walk on with some exceptions .
She and Nashuri’s daughters are a war dog team but keep it secret from their parents.
Then there are the three triplet 9 year olds, Yolotli, Kuhle, and Nobomi. the village calls them ‘the pirahnas’. they all have sharp teeth and speak very little, people don’t usually listen to them so they keep their opinions to themselves, but they be plotting
though they are sweet young girls,, they’re just… feral. They like going on hunts with their brother and they’re just ‘cute little piranhas’. If a diver looking for vibranium is seen by them, they will try their best to tear the diver apart.
The youngest son is just a baby and doesn’t have any nicknames or anything but does have the cutest little baby hands and is very chubby.
Okoye is still a war general, but strays away from the battle field these days. She could still kick ass but she chooses to step back from the physical field unless absolutely necessary.
Attuma is still a general as well but he has continued to serve under Namor and chooses not to retire. not much WAR going on lately though so he is a very present and loving father. Okoye’s more of the busy one, though she tries her very best to be active and it works for everyone.
• Scenario:
I’m imagining maybe while Xyanza and (Nashuris daughter) were trying to free some Prisoners of war from a British battle ship on the Indian Ocean, she gets found and cornered but her brother is there to not only save her, but bust her. Saying he’s going to tell their parents what she’s been doing. He’s a snitch fr but he has her back.
She tells him how they can’t just let this ship leave and he says it wasn’t for no reason - he found some vibranium that had obviously been smuggled from Wakandan borders. They had figured out the export was being sold by black market traders disguised as tourists. So Tadeas says he’ll help them take the ship down and then take all the credit when they’re back home 🙄🤣. Nashuris daughter is like fine idc
Then he is stabbed through the shoulder with a vibranium whale gun by a surviving ship captain, they’re both captured and Xyanza is knocked out.
They wake up to find themselves in a vibranium cell on another ship heading to an undisclosed location to be tested on. They’re all trapped there as their weapons have been confiscated.
Then they hear a bunch of screams, gunshots and commotion and who bursts into the door.
Shuri. The Queen of Wakanda. The Black Panther.
Her mask falls and she is relieved to see all the kids but also furious that they not only left but engaged without authority.
They can only imagine what their other parents are feeling.
So the parents are all there, Namor is getting rid of crew members who turn out to be American Marines and Other Goverment Allies. Shuri is hacking into the system and releasing the kids. Okoye is observing the ship and interrogating the captain. Attuma is in a rage he is absolutely wrecking the ship, it’s sinking.
The kids are soon faced with their parents, being scolded mainly by Okoye and Namor, Shuri is jumping in sometimes but Attuma is deathly silent.
Nashuri! Kid and Tadeas are facing most blame. They will all be punished however.
“Baba! Please I was trying to help Talokan and Wakanda. You must believe me!” Tadeas pleaded.
Attuma stepped forward and looked down at his son, who he left in charge of all of the kids.
“I have given you far too much responsibility. This has proven to me you are not ready to handle that.”
Attuma takes his sons axe, which he gave to him on his 11th birthday. And His son is devasted, shocked into silence.
All the children are ordered to return to Wakanda and told they are forbidden to leave until further notice. They’ve all been benched from their training and anything except school.
Nashuri kid is taken from public schooling and absolutely grounded.
