For you zaun family au when do they get the last drop?
During the pregnancy with Claggor. Claggor wasn't conceived there but he was born there.
I think they get the keys a little before the 3 month mark of the pregnancy (which is relevant to the earlier ask this week because heats are 3 monthly in my verses so Vander wants them moved and in before Silco’s next heat only to be informed that, actually that won’t be an issue because they’re isn’t going to be another heat for about a year, and, oh).
It's somewhat connected to the last member of Vander's family dying (I don't know which one). I don't know if it was that member’s previously or the money Vander got from the little inheritance he received from his family brought it but it's definitively tied up with them... somehow.
It also happens to be at the time when, while their focus is still on rebelling against Piltover, they've managed to build The Lanes up to something actually sustainable. With them at the centre of both those networks. So a place where they can have people coming and going all hours without it looking suspicious is very much necessary (and it’s a good time to focus on setting it up while Silco is out of revolutionary action because pregnant). And a bar is kind of convenient for that. Especially seeing the Last Drop seems big enough I feel like it has rooms upstairs - both the conference/meeting and... short stay variety (plus a basement that honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was or ended up connected to underground tunnels).
Also, you know, they're about to have another kid! A bigger space for themselves and their family is something they were already looking for.

do you have a lake territory map that's color coded?
I didn't, so I pulled it up into paint and quickly slapped some color on it!
Blue is RiverClan, Purple is ShadowClan, Yellow is ThunderClan, Green is WindClan
And everything in red is contested. And this is BEFORE SkyClan moves in. I tried to wrench out lots of the 'clear' landmark boundaries so the borders are waaaay more arbitrary.
ThunderClan fights WindClan over the dry gorge and the sparse forest beyond it, and fights ShadowClan over the mixed wood to the north.
ShadowClan's territory is quite small, but contained behind the diamond-shaped steam. I wanted to keep the vibe that the streams veer inward and crush the border, causing them to have to throw their weight around when they need hunting space.
WindClan has lots of territory, to the point of not really needing the contested land except in dire situations. That said, Onestar still thinks it's important to assert dominance. They also have access to some highland area, and an alternate path to the Moonpool.
RiverClan's territory is deceptively large but not bountiful. It's mostly barren, with a lot of human settlement (need to add in the next draft). They get most of their food from the central river and lake; but fight for the southern delta and northern islets when they need more.
And speaking of the northern islets? That ball of red just below ShadowClan is contested by THREE clans. Shadow, Thunder, AND River fight over it all the time, it's Sunningrocks times two. And!! More importantly!! Now ProtagonistClan can access ALL of the other clans easily.
No more RiverClan exclusion. The two clans that find it hardest to meet up are WindClan and ShadowClan... and I'm planning on giving them tunnels to use, if I ever need a Shadow/Wind warrior interaction.

“The Blackened hand of God. Jigen Daisuke.
That man is known to be the most dangerous in the west. He’s killed so many men, theirs souls blackened his army jacket to the point where you can’t tell who he used to fight for. He doesn’t say either.
Actually he don’t talk much at all. Just as good, the man’s a bad omen. Steer clear of him.”
Jigen Daisuke, a civil war veteran who now roams the desert as a gun for hire for anyone who can afford him. The best damn gunman the west has ever seen. And the bloodiest. People call him a grim reaper. Or the “Blackened hand of God,” coverd in soot for all the hellfire he’s rained on poor unfortunate souls.
He’s also very gay.
also I may have Jonah Hexed him... sorry

PJO TV SHOW Reaction Episode 4
Alright, time to see how he went from the Arch to the River (As a midwesterner, that always bugged me). As always, at least slight spoilers for potentially future seasons
But first, flashbacks! Baby Percy is scared to swim and that is frankly adorable
This wholesome flashback is now interrupted by a terrifying nightmare
Thalia discussion!!!
Ah Lil Annabeth has a cute sleeping cap
Thalia and Luke! and Little Annabeth! I hope we can see that flashback
Where is grover in their sleeping area?
Ah more Godly Criticism about their shitty ass parenting. And shitty mortal parenting from Frederick and Stepmom
Oh there's Grover. Cute Lil grouchy sleepy Grover
Sorry, these kids are adorable and I am not ready for the horrors they are about to face
Oh sweeties, never try and figure out a prophecy. You'll just get a headache
Centaurs!!! And pollution :( Pan mention!!!
Oh good, Annabeth is speaking truth about the prophecies.
What is up with their cabin?
Oh Annabeth...
Percy, trust me, you don't want to meet the werewolves
Oh! Echidna! So she trashed their room for the bolt? Makes more sense than Zeus sending her to kill Percy and preventing them from getting the bolt tbh
Echidna, you are being very creepy, and cant Grover smell her? Oh but he did figure out the smashed window, good for him
I'm sorry. But cute little Percy is not very intimidating. Don't worry, you'll get there eventually
"This has always been a family story" Yeah i guess that's true. I love this conversation of Monsters and Demigods
Ok nevermind she does want to kill them. Was she sent by Zeus tho?
And Percy got stabbed. That's not good
I love a good ole creepy train scene
Oh, we are making the Arch an Athenian temple? That's pretty cool actually... I think? If we ignore the whole racist/entitled Manifest Destiny aspect of what the arch represents and how it led to the genocide of Native Americans, destruction of nature, and the near eradication of wild buffalo and wolves....
(I just like the idea that monuments are secret temples. I wonder if Hoover Dam is one too. That could actually lead to a whole debate/discussion/headcanons. Is it just Greek? What about the Washington Monument as an Egyptian symbol? What about Leif Erickson in Canada? What about Museums? Is the Statue of Liberty a temple for Libertas?)
Well, at least Annabeth and Grover briefly discussed it the aspect of what it is and the architectural significance vs the historical significance
The poison!
Just uh...casually bath him in the fountain. I don't think the Mist can help much with that
Honestly, if their best plan is to pray to the Gods for help they are kind of fucked and very desperate
Oh wait, they think Athena sent Echidna? Or at least won't help them
Eh, kinda tracks with how horrible the Gods are to Demigods
Ooh, Annabeth vs Chimera? Brave girl but Percy is too loyal for that shit. And Reckless
Go Percy go!
Oh! So the River is just going to grab him. That works. I guess
Honestly if I was the Mississippi River God I would be pretty damn pissed at mortals, that poor river has been through A Lot. I wonder how it worked when the gods came over, was it kinda like when they went to rome and integrated the local gods? Because the Indigenous Tribes already had gods and what not, especially for nature, or is it more like the distinction between Greek/Egyptian/Norse?
Anyways, pretty good episode, the pacing seems a bit weird, but I liked it overall.

(if you want :)
List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you! get to know your mutuals and followers <3
Sure!
The fact that humans everywhere tell stories to each other. We connect and find meaning in small things, or create age-old legends and pass them to each other as part of our communities. I don't know, I think it's beautiful :)
I love when people light up and ramble about their favorite things. Like, stammering and tumbling over words, glowing with excitement, passionate.
I like wildflowers! Very much. They're nice.
I like when artists decide to paint something with a brilliant amount of color. Not really a reflection of reality, but I love the joy that emanates from very colorful art.
Lastly, the company of friends. Whether across the internet or all gathered into one room, it's lovely to share moments with dear ones.
I'm not sure how many people follow me as of yet, so think of this as an open invitation to join or make your own list of things you love!
