I loved the Zeus - Posedion conversation so much because it is the most sibling tm scene in the show so far (after Posedion intervened and stopped his brother from literally murdering his son). They're literally at war one second, there's some levity a second later when they decide they're on the same side and then the youngest brother has to rub in the fact that he won and that he's going to tell everyone else in the family ASAP much to the older brother's absolute annoyance as he rolls his eyes. Not to mention "Who knows about father?" "... Hermes " "So... everyone knows?" Hermes canonically being the biggest blabber in Olympus lmao.

just saying, if Annabeth was forced to leave Percy there, she would have marched into the underworld, threw hands with Hades, and carried Sally Jackson out in her teeth if she had too. There would be nothing stopping that little killing machine if she was forced to leave Percy after all that

tv show annabeth is off putting and I love her for it. What else would a neurodivergent girl with trauma and an obsession with proving herself be? She's so very gifted kid coded

i cannot stop thinking about those few seconds where percy slices luke and then luke attacks him and how they perfectly encapsulate their fatal flaws.
percy apologizing because his fatal flaw is loyalty and no matter what luke was his friend.
luke lashing out like a wounded animal because his fatal flaw is wrath and his instinct is to harm back.
i'm screaming crying throwing up y'all

The other gods: Hades is the king of the dead, he is bad, he was definitely the one who did it all
Hades: hi guys, sorry for the tortuous path it takes to get to my house, would you like some pomegranate juice? A snack?

I’m sorry but the little squeaky noises that Grover’s stress ball were making while the trio was in the literal UNDERWORLD was so FUNNY!!
On screen: jagged rocks, dramatic music, dark and gloomy atmosphere, the souls of the dead
Off screen: Grover frantically squeezing the stress ball like his life depended on it

I'm still losing it over Posedion saving Percy in episode 8. I was a bit wary when the show had them miss the solstice deadline, I'm not going to lie, but that payoff was so beyond worth it. Percy had resided himself to his fate, he closed his eyes and waited for Zeus to smite him, he didn't pray, and he didn't plead or beg for his life; he had accepted that he was on his own, but Posedion decided that his son, that Sally Jackson's son, mattered more to him than his pride. He made the decision to intervene and surrender. He chose to set aside his pride, his pride, which is a defining part of who Posedion is as a God in the stories. Yet he surrenders without hesitation. He does set his pride aside for percy in the books too in tlo, but Percy had to ask him to do so. Percy in the show never had to ask. I want to jump off a cliff but like in a good way

Nothing will be as funny as the utter confusion in Ares, Annabeth, and Grover’s faces when Percy challenged Ares to single combat
