like imagine. it's percy in a really tight situation rn. he's tempted by his humane insecurities, risking trusting a suspicious primordial goddess. but he's choked, because he wants to be perfect. he wants to be enough. we see a torn expression on walker's face. indecision and doom is hanging in the atmosphere.

then we cut to some pop music blaring in the background. leah's lips are touched up with lipstick a close up shot. her cheeks are brushed with powdered pink. we see her spinning around in some dresses while giggling with the servants (+reyna cameo). she's shooting star eyes at the mirror with someone gives her a grand reveal of her new gorgeous hairstyle.

oh, where were we again? oh yeah. we cut back to percys life or death situation or whatever.

We really aren’t exploring the Perabeth college concept nearly as much as we should be. They finally get to live in peace and enjoy their youth. They can finally go on dates to the local café without the fear of a fight; they can stay up late watching movies instead of staring out the window wondering what’s lurking in the dark; and they can spend the day studying knowing there’s no looming threat of a prophecy. They’ve gone through so much, and they deserve to spend their college days getting to enjoy being young. There's so much fluff potential here and we're ignoring it

percy and annabeth are most definitely the first of their friends to have kids, even though i don’t think they start until their mid-late 20s. in my opinion, i don’t believe many of their friends have kids. i just don’t think it’s super common amongst demigods, especially greeks and the more powerful demigods, since they have to deal with the most shit. so i think it’s always a little odd for demigods to see their friends have kids, especially if they are also demigods.

so i just know their friends are so amazed watching percy and annabeth be parents. like… imagine thalia, the girl who once watched out for and protected little 7 year old annabeth, seeing annabeth breastfeed her child? how weird would that be? and imagine grover, who’s been besties with percy since they were little grade school buddies, seeing percy rocking his baby to sleep? how weird would that be? seeing them changing diapers, doing tummy time with him/her, giving him/her bottles, etc. thalia, grover, leo, piper, rachel, nico, frank, hazel, even people like clarisse… it would just be so weird for them. amazing and beautiful, but weird.
