This has been sitting in my ask box cause I've been running low on energy so sorry it took so long for me to reply! Here's 5 things that make me happy at the moment: 1. Sun is shining more often now but there's still snow on the ground aka my fave time of the year is here! 😍 2. Music always makes me happy but right now Käärijä, Blind Channel, and Bad Omens are the ones giving me happy happy joy joy feelings the most 3. Studying in university has gone quite well and I'm really glad I found the courage to apply and start studying again 4. I gotta mention my near and dear ones but also the fandoms I'm in deserve a shout-out. Life would be boring without them! 5. Last but not least: my itty bitty kitty 🖤

‘electric splash on a midnight drive’. it’s a fic i described to @tomorrows-unknown as ‘a relationship can be two guys on a road trip through a foreign country and the accidental dead body they acquired in the trunk’. it’s archie/eemi and projected to be about 15k words. currently it’s at 7k

there’s one called arttu/eemi based off another conversation i had with maddy of eemi getting his shit wrecked whilst he wears bondage cuffs. i haven’t decided a proper fic name yet

im stuck with skydweller four at the 1k mark. it’s from a new character pov, and nailing it is pretty hard. once i’m past that tho it should be plain sailing.

answered already here but another thing is that i'd like to actually do something for my birthday. every year i spend my birthday alone (mostly because it's hard to meet up with anyone on weekdays) and usually don't celebrate it even a few days later. but this year a couple of friends wanted to throw a joined party for their birthdays and i went like "fuck it, i'll ask if i can join too, we have a lot of common friends anyway". and i did and celebrated my birthday a month later than my actual birthday but it was very nice 🥹 i'm hopefully seeing joker out in Padua the day before my birthday in 2024 so idk, let's see how this one goes

1.Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike? - I try to write it as soon as the idea strikes, then use daydream to elaborate/make it more visual.

53. What is the most-used tag on your ao3? - AO3 is currently down so I can't check, I'll come back to this. But I suspect it might be smut lol. We'll see hehe.

Are there any fics that influenced you to write the way you do? - there have been a number of fics in their way of prose that made me go: holy shit I want to write like this, some kpop fics, dunkirk and sas: rogue heroes fics, but I never kept track of them because I don't want to be able to go back to them and just copy the style.

77. Why do you enjoy writing fanfiction? - I'm a creative at my core and fanfiction is my primary way of letting out these bursts. When inspiration strikes, if not given a proper way to vent it out, it will fester and poison the soul. I also paint and draw, but those take too long/too much care/too much space etc, and wielding words have just always been a tad closer to my soul, like how one is born with a prominent hand. I can 'paint' a 'picture' better with words than any brushes on canvas, which is strange if you think about it because I am a visual type through and through--but the picture I see in my head, I can translate it better with words.

Almost 10 years (would be in October) and Tumblr deactivated my account (askeataiho) for no apparent reason.

Online said reactivation can be anywhere from 2-3 hours to 2-3 weeks to never. So creating this now that I'm at almost 24 hours.

Hopefully my main will be back soon, and I can leave this account to gather dust.

I don't remember all the people I followed (only about 78). Also had more than 13,000 posts.

🎶 What music do you listen to when you write?

Either I listen to a specific playlist crafted especially for the fic (I have so many), or I listen to my indie pop songs. Most of the time indie pop songs are on my playlists. I know y'all don't read my non-rpf fics but most of them have the corresponding playlists linked on ao3. Built To Roam (vedenemä!Aleksi fic), the mer!Joel fic and my ferret fest fic all have playlists on spotify, too. Not sure whether or not I linked them or if they are even public. 🤔

🗑 What is one fic idea that you loved at first but then scrapped?

Listen, unfortunately, I don't scrap ideas. They go in the Google docs to die, always hoping to be written one day. Forever incomplete at like 500 words or just a paragraph of a plot in my ideas doc... I want to write all of them but I can't really accept that it ain't gonna happen.

💡 What’s the weirdest thing you’ve been inspired by?

Ferret fest? Tbh, someone else already did the "heatfic inspired by ferrets"-thinking by the time I saw it and executed my own spin on it 😂

Otherwise writing a fic in which Olli loses a finger in a fence-climbing accident after hearing about it happening in a first aid course.

Only difference is her finger was able to be reattached. unfortunately for Olli our instructor told us about common mistakes that lead to fingers being "too mushy" to be reattachable. And i love gore with absurd comparisons. 😬

“Do you have a bucket-list planet you want to visit?” Olli blurted.

Hokka barely missed a beat before he gave his answer, like he’d thought about it for a while and had it ready to go. “San Trevira,” he said, a near manic smile spreading across his face. “The fallen planet. Think about it,” he grinned, “that red dust everywhere, the howling winds. It’s a whole rocky desert, but there’s the biomes with the undying lights! There’s the cave holes from some ancient species too, and no-one knows if it was them or the first humans who built the bio domes. Some of the domes even lead into the cave holes. No-one even knows what the domes are even for. They could be for early terraforming, or for supporting early colonists during the terraforming years, like what happened with Mars. Or they might once have belonged to San Trevira’s old indigenous people, and so have nothing to do with humans at all. We just don’t know!”

🏅: What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).

chapter 16 was written in one day. i haven’t written more than 3k in a day since last february and i haven’t written more than 1.5k a day since this february

🌈 : What inspired you to write insert fic here?

the song skydweller by rave the requiem

well that and @rem-oscar’s space pirate fic. those two were the spark for the og plan, though for what it became, orphan black and the last of us were major inspo too

I have a few, but this one from 5 times Joel saw too much and 1 time he got lucky made me laugh writing it, poor Joel listening to his band mates in the bunk above him and just spiraling.😂

Would it be worth it to cough or something so they knew he was awake? What if they didn't hear?

Oh fuck, what if they did hear him and they kept going? he didn't know what they were into, maybe they would like having an audience!

💕 What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Oooooh that's hard, I have a few… I think I'll go with Heaven (and Hell) on Earth because it's so much fun to play around with angels and demons

🌻 How often do you read your own fics?

Not super often, if I'm writing in a series I'll reread to try to keep continuity. Occasionally I'll read some for fun though.
