EYYYYMOSTER HIGH IS BACK WITCHESSokay adult enby obcessed with dolls cringe ahead.I am so excited for the return, I LOOOOVE figures and dolls, especially ones centered around monsters and myths, so monster high reels me in like a sucker.I really dont draw many teens, but seeing the new box art for the dolls looking more teenage than mid twenties is actually kinda nice! I like a lot of the changes, Clawdeen, whos just always pretty much the best main character in previous gens, now she's more centeral and main character I'm sooo excited! This design is kinda a combination of her box art and doll art for the new series I love that she has glasses and freckles, and just the cutest little outfit, I did forego the chain on her belt and adding details to her belt but IDC i think ti looks fine without, it was too much for me with the pattern around it, needed to have a diffrent texture between her clothes and belt.Tried to draw her with a more teen body than I typically draw (<5% of my ocs are under 20.) and I'm pretty okay with it, I think maybe her face looks a little aged tho? lacking baby fat? IDK but I'm mostly happy with her, she's just sooo cute. If you're into MH lemme know what your fave character or doll is!! I missed a bunch and I love hearing people talk about things I like that they enjoy. :lmao: (Don't be creepy about lil clawdeen, she is a child.)

How have I never drawn my original bunny waifu in a bunny suit?I asked myself this while browsing my galley so picked her for my first Bunny Suit Art Jam 2022 held by @atomictiki (RIP his tumblr lol) It's Peridot, the best design and most fun character in Puchi Carat according to me. I tried to mix in some of her original art style in making it a little more anime in the eyes and the white highlight is based directly on how they draw highlights in her official art. Anyway, I quite like this one! Hope I manage to get a couple more done for the month, but I'm taking a short holiday soon so that may interrupt that plan! I'll see what happens.

Okay I got another idea for Bunny suit jam by atomictiki, a character who's been drawn in one a few times, has a figure of her in one too, but I wanted to do some sorta classic anime vibes.

One of my earliest childhood crushes I rememebr is Ryoko Hakubi, I never got far in the anime but she really grabbed my heart with a vice like grip, I love her english dub voice too, that kinda deeper sarcastic sound? love it, it's actually what inspired me to draw Ryoko, the fact that Eda has a simailir voice, caused me to remember my love for Ryoko.

| A LOVER, NOT A FIGHTER | A GaLe One-shot | Fairy Tail |

At 4'10" most found Levy McGarden, a petite bluenette, cute and tiny and basically harmless.

Most would be right.

Levy was a lover, not a fighter. Even her admirers and companions, Jet and Droy weren't convinced their crush was safe going almost anywhere, and took it as their personal mission to guard the tiny faerie from danger. (If they ever stopped fighting, that is.)

She was a booksexual through and through however, so half the time there was no need for protecting of any sort because she had her nose buried in some book or another. (If only her friends took a hint and fought OUTSIDE THE LIBRARY. Porlyusica gave her enough nasty looks without them in the picture anyways. And why would anyone want to talk in the vicinity of BOOKS?!)

And there was no need for dating of any sort was there? As long as Augustus Waters, Rhysand and her other book boyfriends existed, her thirst for romance was quenched and that well was closed. Phew.

But then came Lucy Heartfilia, her best friend and fellow lover of intellectual pursuit. Lu-chan was currently writing her own book and story, which led to the current dilemma Levy was in. Because Lu-chan's story was based on her very own fairy tale with Natsu.

Now don't take her the wrong way, she was soo happy for her best friend! (Well, maybe not that much considering she lost a bet of 500 jewels to Cana over when NaLu (her OTP!!) would finally sail...) But when the two soulmates finally realised their feelings for each other and began dating, it opened up the box of What if's that Levy had kept locked up and she found herself craving one of her own. Badly.....

Her friends told her to try dating Jet or Droy, but she'd basically grown up with them and they were more of brothers to her than anything.

It was with these thoughts that she boarded the train to Magnolia with Lu-chan. Their favourite fantasy writer had a book launch and Levy had one two passes at a random raffle she'd entered (Porlyusica had mentioned it to her, albeit begrudgingly. Levy had squealed and hugged her so tight she'd whacked the bluenette with a dictionary. Owie! But so worth it.)

Even the rain didn't seem to dampen their mood as they stepped out the station with identical Cheshire grins on their faces.

"LU-CHAN THAT WAS SOO AMAZING!! LOOK AT THESE T-SHIRTS WE GOT!!" Levy squealed.

"I KNOW!!!" Lucy did a little happy dance that made them burst into giggles. "I feel so bad that we didn't get a sword for Erza too, you know."

"Oh we'll get her strawberry cake or something. That'll cheer her up!" Levy snapped her fingers.

Lucy grinned. "Natsu said there's a bakery right around here that sells the best cupcakes. I bet a couple 50 of those and a strawberry cake would win over our Titania!"

"Ah Lu-chan, I can't walk another minute. Tiny legs, remember?" Levy sighed. "I'll wait over here, take my umbrella! Be safe and text me okay?"

The blonde gave her a thumbs-up in response as she headed North.

Levy scanned her surroundings and finding her destination, a warm seat at just the right distance for maximum cool wind effect and minimum rain, she deposited her bags (Did they really buy so much merch? It felt like it was so little!) and perched herself on it. Now if only she had a cup of tea-

A rustle from behind had her tilting her head and just in time as she stopped herself from gasping.

There approaching her was the tallest man she'd ever seen.

Like seriously, he was gargantuan! His hair was rough looking and reached up to his shoulders. The man was decked in black and his piercings Good Lord. He looked like a mafia lord out of a Wattpad fanfic!

(And no, Levy was no fool. She wasn't gonna be kidnapped or mugged today, oh no. No amount of sweet loving later would convince her. Nu-uh. She had a working brain, aye sir!)

The giant (okay, that may be a bit ride but what else would she call him? Rust bucket? By the way, how did he keep those piercings from rusting? Did he change them everyday? What did he look like without them?) sat silently next to her. Levy sent a silent prayer to the anime gods and texted Lu-chan asking her to hurry up. Nervously fidgeting, she put her hand in her purse just in case.

A text from Lu-chan. "Levy-chan, why don't you meet me at platform 135 and we go from there? These cupcakes are no joke! I shouldn't have skipped Arm day!" Uh oh. But it was still raining and these were a lot of bags.

She took in a deep breath and stood up determined. But right as she went to pick a bag from the seat, her peripheral vision caught the stranger's hand reach out.

In a span of 3 seconds, she took out the dagger she'd bought at the book launch and pointed it at him. "NOT TODAY, SUCKER!"

Ah, now you may ask, What was the big "I'm a lover, not a fighter" bullshit you just fed us a second earlier? And to that she'd say, she hadn't a clue why she did it. She was well trained in the art of Blades (Erza was a very passionate knife-thrower and a believer of womanly self defense.Enough said.) But whip out a dagger? She didn't mean to!!

The stranger blinked at her and raised his arms in surrender. "Whoa there little Scorpion, I was just trying to help ya with those bags there. Because it's raining and all."

She squinted at him suspiciously, "How do I know that?"

"Because I told you, gihee! " He toothily grinned. Oh dear, was that the grin her book boyfriends gave the protaganists? She could totally see the appeal. She was supposed to be immune, damn it!

"I guess you can? Though I don't reckon you'd want to now considering I held you at knifepoint."

"I like a feisty shrimp. We have to work on your stance however. Someone could just go whoop and carry you on their shoulder like a sack of potatoes." He cheekily commented. She nervously laughed.

Grabbing a bunch of her bags (Looks like he didn't skip on Arm day. Oh vey....) he marched obediently by her side till they reached Lucy who had to blink several times before she realised she wasn't dreaming.

"Thank you-", she paused, waiting for his name.

"You can call me Gajeel. You can also call me." He grabbed a piece of paper seemingly out of nowhere. Before she could register what was happening, he used her head as a bench and jotted down his digits. She squeaked (Since!! When!! Did!! She!! Squeak!!) in protest earning a throaty chuckle from him and a confused sound from Lucy (Me too, Lu-chan, me too...) He handed his number to her.

"Don't get lost in the big city, little shrimp! Take care of her for me, Bunny girl!" Gajeel laughed as he went the other way.

Lucy finally turned toward her bluenette friend. "What just happened?"

"I have no idea, Lu-chan!" She was confused and kind of miffed at the teasing and confidence this random stranger had. Who did he think he was?

And yet that night, when she texted him Goodnight after a longgggg conversation, (She even forgot about the three fanfics she'd planned to binge on that night! Who would've thought?) she found herself sighing.

Yup, she was definitely a lover, not a fighter.

After the football game, Lucas took a long shower and was left at the locker room alone.

Lucas: (hears a noise) Hello?

Keeps walking until he sees a very beautiful girl.

Lucas: Hi. Are you lost? You don’t look familiar.

Maya: Hi. I’m new in this school. Don’t tell me this is the boys locker room.

Lucas: I’m Lucas, by the way.

Maya: I’m Maya. So, you here alone?

Lucas: Apparently not anymore. You waiting for someone? A boyfriend maybe?

Maya: Not really. I’m a free bird and I fly solo. How about you cowboy?

Lucas: Is complicated. I’m with this girl but she’s so self centered and sometimes I get so bored arround her.

Maya: Is not complicated at all.

Lucas: How come?

Maya: You want a girl that challenges you, that makes you fight for it. A love that consumes you. You just haven’t met her. (She leans closer to him and makes eye contact) Don’t scream and don’t fight me.

Lucas: You are so beautiful- (and then she kissed him slowly first and then a little more agressive, moving from his mouth to his neck and then she bit him hard until he bled.

Lucas was very still letting her drink his warm blood. She would have drained him completelly if it wasn’t for the interruption.

Riley: Maya! We agreed not to kill him. You were supposed to just ask him if he’s single.

Maya:I didn’t said anything of the sort.

Riley: You promissed! I told you I like him! He’s too cute to die!

Maya: Fine I won’t kill him. Jeez.

Riley: He’s nearly dry Maya. He’s gonna die if we don’t take him to the hospital.

Maya: So dramatic. Jeez. I’ll fix him. (Maya bit her own wrist and she poured her own blood on his mouth. Lucas began to heal after her vampire blood was in his sistem and he woke up)

Lucas: Hey

Maya: Hi. Jeez Riley’s right. You are too cute to die. I really like your eyes.

Lucas: what happened?

Maya: (Making eye contact) you finished practice late and took a shower. You will forget about ever meeting me)

Lucas walked out of the locker room and met his friends outside by the parkinglot.

Riley and Maya left the School and came back home.

Riley: so?

Maya: he’s apparently dating someone but doesn’t love the girl.

Riley: he seems so nice.

Maya: I bet he has several girls, never an official girlfriend.

Riley: that’s it. I’m going to high school again. And you too.

Lucas left with his friends and got in a car accident that same night.

Next day at school, Maya and Riley heard about the accident.

Lucas: Hey... I know that girl.

Zay: who? Blondie? No way, she just transfered today from a boarding school in England. Today was her first day.

Lucas: I’m telling you man. I know her. Maya! Her name is Maya!

Zay: Hi Blondy. Hi sunshine.

Maya: I’m Maya. This is Riley. You don’t look me in the eyes.

Lucas: you gonna pretend we didn’t met last night?

Maya: (looks at Riley with open eyes and whispers very low so only she could hear) I swear I compelled it out.

Lucas: You did what out? Jeez why is everyone so loud today? I can’t stand the light. Why am I so hungry.

Zay: dude, we just ate!

Maya: what exactly did we talked about last night? I must have forgoten

Lucas: you were at the locker room and we talked and then... I’m a little confused... I guess I hit my head pretty hard last night.

Maya: what do you mean?

Zay: last night we got in a car crash and my buddy here hit his head very hard and passed out but he woke up just fine.

Maya and Riley walked away and whispered

Maya: He shouldn’t remember anything from last night unless he was in transition.

Riley: He must have died with your blood in his system.

Maya: Well Shit!

Riley: we have to help him. Get him a sun ring or he’ll get hurt and we need to help him transition.

Lucas: would you explain to me all these nonesence because I can hear you talking about me but I can’t understand what’s going on.

Maya: Ok. Hopealong, come here. (Lucas walked away from school with the girls) You are becoming a vampire.

Riley: I can help you hunt bunnies or deers and control your thirst so you can feed on them without killing anyone.

Maya: he needs human blood Riley!

Lucas: I’m sorry what?

Riley: (runs away and comes back with a bunny) Look at this. (She drinks from it and the smell makes Lucas very hungry. Lucas drinks from the bunny’s neck.

Maya: he’ll trow it up! Bunny blood, gross.

And in no more than 1 minute, Lucas did trow up all the bunny blood.

Lucas: what now? How should I feed?

Maya: come on. Lets find you a warm body.(she took him to a night club, compelled a couple not to move or scream and they both drank from their necks)

Lucas: I feel so different now.

Maya: feels great right?

Lucas: how come you are a vampire?

Maya: I got turned 135 years ago. I was 16 and inlove. So naive.

Lucas: I just got turned at 18, by a very beautiful girl who told me I was too cute to die.

Maya: (facepalms herself) so you remeber that?

Lucas: is all coming back. The “lost girl” act, the kissing and the bite... do you kiss all the guys you feed on?

Maya: No.

Lucas: should I feel special?

Micah 5:1-7:20, Revelation 7:1-17, Psalms 135:1-21, Proverbs 30:5-6

Today is the 16th day of December. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian. It's great to be here with you as we close down another week. And we’ve been reading from the Holman Christian Standard Bible all week, which is what we'll do today. We’ve been reading through the book of Micah in the Old Testament, which we will conclude today, and then take the next step forward in the book of Revelation, but first, Micah chapter 5 verse 1 through 7:20 today.

Commentary:

Okay. So, let's take a quick look at what we read in Revelation today. As I said when we began this book, it’s interpretations are many. And that's a gross understatement. And these interpretations in no way agree with each other in a lot of cases because we have lots of complexity in prophetic utterances and in symbolism and no way to concretely determine time. So, our goal here isn't to interpret every nuance of the book of Revelation, or any of the associated Old Testament visions and apocalyptic prophecies that exist. We’re just trying to look at things as we go along to keep ourselves rooted in the story and have a bit of context so that we can engage with the text. So, there were seven seals. And Jesus, depicted by John as a lamb, was able to open these seven seals. And we've seen six of them opened. And four of those seals represented horsemen and their riders who were tasked with unleashing unrest upon the earth. The fifth seal had to do with those who had been killed for holding on to their faith, martyrs. And the sixth seal seems to depict the end of the cosmos as we know it. So, we’re expecting this seventh seal, but that's not what we get today. We will get to the seventh seal, but what we have today is a discussion on people who are sealed. So, we had these four horsemen that were sent into the earth and then as we began today's reading, we have four angels who are standing at the four corners of the earth, restraining the four winds of the earth. And most scholars would agree, this is symbolism that is meant to show that they have power over the earth. And then another angel rises up from the east and mentions that the earth or the sea or the trees shouldn't be harmed until the servants of God are sealed, that the seal of God would be placed on their foreheads. And the number of those to be sealed are 144,000, 12,000 each from the named tribes of Israel, but the tribe of Dan and the tribe of Ephraim are omitted from this list. And it gets pretty complicated here, this hundred 144,000. You’ve probably heard of the hundred 144,000 in a lot of ways before. And there's a wide range of speculation among scholars, and entire church denominations have been formed out of interpreting this. So, if you’re taking a literal view of the book of Revelation, then 144,000 people, 12,000 people exactly from specific tribes will get the seal of Christ. And these are all ethnic Jewish people who know the tribes that they come from, which would be rather complicated, because in a northern kingdom, the kingdom of Israel, the 10 tribes there were taken into exile by Assyria, they’re lost, like, they’re lost to history. And with the southern kingdom, which would be Benjamin and Judah, were taken in exile by Babylon. They were eventually able to go back and they were paying close attention to the Levites, like to the priestly tribe, but tribal identity was mostly lost. So, if John is talking about ethnic Jews then it's complicated. And if we were taking a presentist attitude, interpretation, like, this is all happening, or this is about to happen, then it's kind of complicated to find 12,000 ethnic Jews who know the tribe that they are from in this day and age. And it would be equally as difficult to find 144,000 ethnic Jews who live in modern-day Israel who are believers in Jesus. The number is more like 10% of that, just for a little perspective. I mean, there are mega-churches in the world that contain more people who are professing to be followers of Jesus then all of the believers who live in modern-day Israel put together. And for those who don't take 144,000 as a literal number, some would say that this represents all ethnic Israel, all those who are ethnically Jewish will be saved at Christ's second coming, while others would say the 144,000 isn’t a literal number, it's a figurative number, and it represents all who would be sealed, the people of God, and the formation of a new and true Israel. And I'm not going to unpack that conflict right now, like, we’ll wait until we get into Paul's letters next year, because it would take us on a bunny trail that would take way too long. So, I think it's safe to say that most, but not all, scholars do not take this 144,000 number to be a literal number with exactly 12,000 people from specific tribes. Like, this is more of a figurative speech representing God's true people and part of that comes from what comes next. So, we have this 12,000 from all of these tribes numbering 144,000, and we get to the end of that and then John says, after this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language which no one could number standing before the throne and before the lamb and they were robed in white with palm branches in their hands. So, if the numbers just 144,000, then the next thing we know we have people without number. No one can number them. So, more than 144,000, which leads some scholars to say, okay, there’s 144,000 and those people are being sealed in this time of testing, this tribulation, and they’re the remnant army of God. And then we move to this other visionary experience, where the host of heaven, all the souls standing before God and before the Lamb from every nation, and tribe, and tongue are standing before God. And we can easily think these are the ones that have been martyred, but the ones that are martyred are talked about here. So, who is this throng of people dressed in white, if not the hundred 44,000 and the not the martyrs? So, we get an answer that as we read along. One of the elders, so, one of the 24 elders, asks John who they are. Who are the people robed in white? Where did they come from? And, so, John's like, sir, you know. So, he’s saying, like, you would know but I don't know. And, so, the elder tells him, these are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. So, these are the ones that stay true. And some interpret this as that these are the true children of God, descended from Abraham. God's promise to Abraham was that he would multiply their descendants and they wouldn't be able to be numbered. So, these are the children of God who have come out of the great tribulation. So, for interpreting this futuristically, then there is a great tribulation to come that’s going to be very, very, very difficult on the earth. But if we’re a little more pragmatic in our interpretation, then tribulation has been around a while and Christian specific tribulation has been around since Jesus. And enduring that and growing strong because of it and allowing it to shape us and build character and make us true is part of the metanarrative of the New Testament. Either way, this throng of people from every tribe and nation and tongue are before the Lord and they have washed their robes and they have become white and they have washed them in the blood of the lamb. So, to look at this literally would present some challenges. Like, if you wash a robe in blood it's not going to come out white. And where did they get these robes in the first place? And where can one acquire one of these robes? It just becomes difficult to make literal. Symbolically, the interpretations are that, you know, those who wash their robe in the blood of the lamb and it comes out white, that is representing the ongoing work of sanctification, the process of becoming pure and clean and Christ like, which requires endurance and perseverance and all the things that we‘ve been talking about all year. And for those people, beautiful, beautiful imagery is given. These people serve God day and night in his sanctuary, in his presence, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them and they won't hunger anymore and they won't thirst anymore and the sun won't beat down on them and strike them anymore and heat won't hurt them anymore because Jesus, the Lamb, who was at the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will shepherd them. He will guide them to springs of living waters and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And I think that is beautiful no matter how you're looking at this book, no matter how you're interpreting this. It's a beautiful picture that, in the end, there is God's presence and things are as they should be, and nothing is lost, and there is no lack, and our tears will be wiped away by God himself, which is where we end today, in the book of Revelation.

Prayer:

Father, once again we’re inviting You to speak through all that we’re reading in Your word and we’re taking it all in and inviting You. And it is our hearts desire to be one in that throng with people from every tribe and nation and tongue. We want to be one of them and we have the clear picture that we must endure and that we must remain true and that our lives can’t be spent just trying to be one in that throng, but one of many that You were able to reach and love and rescue because You were able to work through us. Come, Holy Spirit, give us the eyes and the ears of the Kingdom. May we each be responsible for a great cloud of witnesses celebrating before Your throne. Come Jesus, we pray. In Your holy name, we ask. Amen.

Hello everyone. This is Abiding in Him. I’d like to pray for our sister Marked as His in Wisconsin. Lord, we thank You so much for our sister and we rejoice with her in the news that her mother is doing well after fighting cancer Lord, that the harvest has come in plentiful Lord. We just thank You for Your wonderful goodness and Your mercy to us Lord. And I also thank You for my sister’s honesty in that she’s struggling, that someone that once took advantage of her in enjoying things in life that she’s yet to enjoy, but it seems horribly unfair in a life that has had many unfair moments. Lord, I pray that You come meet with my sister in a special way, that You reach out to her in the depths of her struggle and the pain and You reveal to her a deeper love, a deeper connection, a deeper abiding that is available to those who have suffered and lost much. It seems that in this world Lord, You strip many things away from us in order to bring us closer to You. And in a way, we should be thankful for these opportunities but they still hurt. They still cause pain. So, that great mystery Lord, where You enter into our pain and You manifest Yourself as being present and close, despite our anguish Lord. I pray for that peace to come to her for my sister. She says she’s Marked as Yours Lord, so, prove it to her, in a special, individual and unique way that only You can do. Hi family. I desperately, desperately need your prayers. This is Amanda from Williamsburg, Virginia. I need prayers for my children’s school. We went to a parent’s meeting last night and they told us last night that we are going to be doing emergency fund raisers and things like that, but the landlord has really taken advantage of them and like tripled the rent and all of this. And they’re not sure how they are going to make this…through the school year. And the heartbreaking part is, this Greenwood Christian Academy is amazing. It has incredible academics and incredible teachers and it’s a small Christian academy. My 5 children thrive there. And it breaks my heart. I don’t know what to do. So, the only thing I know to do is to turn to you. Family, please, lift up Greenwood Christian Academy. Help us to raise $100,000, help us to find a new location. We just…we need God to move. And we know that He has a plan and we’re trusting Him and we’re are all working hard…but we just need…we just need intercession, please. Please just lift up the community of Williamsburg, Virginia, that they can come around this amazing school and these amazing kids and these amazing teachers and see it for the gem that it is and just be able to push forth and grow this school. We open up with the Freedom Fighters doing some training with General D’Coolette as their coach. Sally’s there too, to oversee things, and she has this chat with Armand while there.

So several things are going on here. Both Sonic and Antoine are being blamed for the behavior of their evil counterparts. (though honestly, Scourge’s flirting didn’t harm the last mission at all. None of the girls broke out into a fight or anything, and to be frank, the personal relationships of your team mates really aren’t any of your damn business Sally) However, Armand, blames himself for “Antoine’s” sudden change in behavior; thinking that the pressures of war and living in the shadow of a hero might have pushed him over the edge. It’s a poignant and ironic insight, and not just because we all know “Antoine” is really Patch. No it’s ironic because we have seen the real Antoine’s response to war and living in his dad’s shadow. It’s not cold, harsh, and standoffish behavior, rather it was arrogance and fearful cowering. But Armand wouldn’t know this about his son because he was reunited with him after all of his character development.

It’s also interesting to find out that Armand use to ship Sally and Antoine. Though one has to wonder why. Did Max inform him about the Source of All’s vision? Or was it merely a folly he had when they were both small kids? Like how adults do when they pretend about the life their children will have when they’re grown. Or did he genuinely see something between them and thought they would be good together? It’s telling that he claims that it is Antoine who is not right for Sally. Not that she is wrong for him or that they mutually might not be suited to each other. It kind of implies that it’s Patch he’s really talking about here, and that before the sudden change, he really did believe they would make a good couple.

However Armand is a stand up guy who, unlike Max, doesn’t threaten or belittle his children into complying to his wishes. Nor does he treat his son’s actual chosen significant other as being beneath him. Armand’s always been supportive of Bunnie and Antoine, no matter what his feelings of Sally may have been. And he even apologizes! He sincerely asks for Sally’s forgiveness for ever unintentionally putting pressure on either her or Antoine, despite the fact that he never ever did such a thing at all. Can Armand just be Sally’s new father now? Please! He’d be so much better then Max.

Speaking of the devil, Max and Alicia interpret them with a phone call.

Ok, so both Armand and Max have fallen ill, at the same time, with similar symptoms. And we know it’s not anything contagious because no one else has caught it. And Dr. Quack just thinks it’s some bullshit thing that happened long, long ago from the first war?

If it was radiation pensioning from like a bomb or a byproduct of chemical warfare then wouldn’t there be others coming down with it? Like Bernie, Chuck, or even Quack himself as they all would have fought in that same war. Probably in the very same battles. Also why would this “poison” only take effect so many many years later? Wouldn't a more recent poisoning be the logical answer here?

Look I’m not saying everyone should immediately suspect Patch. We the audience know damn well he’s behind this. But of course the characters still believe him to be Antoine, and well Antoine would never harm his father nor betray the crown. But it is rather convenient that nobody even entertains the idea that there might be foul play afoot somewhere and that there isn’t any investigation launched at all.

But intrigue will have to wait, because Armand soon collapses.

And of course the only person who suspects anything is wrong is Bunnie.

I mean you would think something like you’re dad dying might cause a bit of concern from your friends. Especially if you’ve completely emotionally shut down, which is a sign of denial and a stage of grief. But nope, they all decide to go to a concert instead of checking up on “Antoine” personally.

This leads into the much less interesting main story for this arc. Eggman wants Mina dead for petty reasons and hires Nack to assassinate her. Oh and more dumb relationship drama that should have been done with ages ago.

But at least Bunnie gets to do something useful and puts out a fire.

The second story this issue involves yet another AU tale where this time the cast are in a fantasy medieval setting, and really it’s just an excuse to write and draw the characters as their pre-development selves. It’s a pointless, yet simi-fun throwback, that I personally wouldn’t mind if only one small niggle.

Rosie is the one narrating this story.

And she casts Antoine as a jester or the comic relief if you will. Which makes sense from a meta stand point, and if this was a Zone Wars story that would be fine. But here?

Rosie is Antoine’s adoptive mother. She raised him for ten years after he lost both his parents. She’s basically calling her own son an idiot!

Does no one working on this damn comic understand Rosie’s character and her relationships with the rest of the Freedom Fighters?

I’m sorry, but everyone ignoring Rosie’s role and importance with in the comic is something that really bothers me. It’s such a waste of potential that’s never been fully explored even in the reboot.

Gee, it’s almost like those are legitimate criticisms that’s been thrown at the comic before and instead of learning from them and growing as an artist you gave everybody the middle finger instead just to protect you’re own fragile ego.

No I’m not bitter, why you’d ask?
