Mm didn't miss the feeling of no one actually care about what i say and if they do then right after ignore me and talking with someone else and if i try to join the conversation it's somehow almost always something related to them that i have nothing to add to or if it's a subject i do have something to say then i actually feel like I need to fight to have the ability to talk cus they keep talking and not carrying I'm there but i can't fucking look like I'm feeling sad because then the some times they talk to me they'll just be like heh she's just not in the mood and leave me alone which isn't fucking helping being ignored even more and then we come to situations like now where everyone's talking and I'm in my phone feeling bad inside and kinda wishing it wasn't, simply bad

It's St. Valentine's Day and what's a better day to dedicate a post to my fav ships? 

Ships of all the time and from everywhere. Not just couples I love, but my best ships ever.

Ships don't always have a reason, you just see them and you love them, just like love at first sight. Unfortunately often I fell in love with ships that didn't end up as canon, but I still had some happy ending. 

Here you go (they are in chronological order and not by preference): 

Jason and Trini (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)

I started to ship them before the word "ship" was even invented. I think the main reason was the chemistry between the actors who had a very lovely friendship off set. ASJ himself ships Trason! I waited about 20 years to finally see them kiss in one of the comics... It was so cute!

Chandler and Monica (Friends)

Sadly, the only ship on my list that I actually can see being realised as a couple. Not the only canon but the only one with hugs, kisses and more.

Taichi and Sora (Digimon)

They were perfect. The custest best friends, they cared for each other, they understood each other more than anyone else. But writers decided to ruin everything in S2 when she fell in love with Yamato. After decades Tri and the new Digimon Adventure still gave us many moments between them, but never ended up together.

Ron and Hermione (Harry Potter)

Finally a true victory! After years and years, 7 books and a lot of shipping battles on Internet, Ron and Hermione were finally canon! The kiss in the book was so sweet and I couldn't wait to see it in the movie... only to find myself admiring Ron's neck! A bit disappointed, but still happy.

They really seem to me like a married couple, but I know Oda will never ever make them canon in the manga. I have only a tiny hope for Opla, and maybe I'm just being delusional, but I think we constantly need to root for a ship and It was a long time this didn't happened to me. What if Danny were half human, half ghost; as in half of the time?

Kind of like how werewolves have a schedule based on the moon, halfas have a schedule based on the sun.

So, he's completely human by day, and as the sun sets he turns ghost.

Perhaps his parents' inventions won't register him at all, or perhaps they would still be sensitive enough to pick up on something. But the situation would lead to more problems at night.

Since he can't shift between forms at will, it's like the fics about him being stuck in ghost mode, only every night.

Maybe his parents wouldn't notice during summer months. He goes to bed a little early; but that's good, his parents think, he's responsible enough to have an early bedtime for school. (when... school is in session, at least. He apparently wears himself out every single day during summer break?)

But in the winter months, when the sun sets before dinner, he never eats that last meal with his family. Always either not hungry or already ate. (is he... mad at them about something...?)

He's barely seen around the house in the evenings. They know he's around, but they only catch glimpses of him as he goes between rooms. And why is he wearing so many clothes does he have a fever here let me check—

And any event that takes place at night would be worrisome for Danny. Dances, going to the observatory with his family, camping... Even mornings can be iffy during the time of year when the sun rises late; when he has to get ready for school before dawn.

Vlad doesn't have much trouble with being a halfa, though. No one ever notices that he only makes appearances during the day.

Though the Bitter Reunions episode would have a few small changes. It might be easier for those two to recognize each other as halfas. At least if Vlad happens to see Danny Phantom in Danny Fenton's bed, or Danny noticing a ghost doing stuff Mr. Masters would do. Or Danny hearing Vlad's watch alarm going off just as Danny glances at his own watch as he wonders how to politely ask about the guest rooms. He doesn't even open his mouth before Mr. Master starts pushing them up the stairs, talking about how it must've been such a long and tiring trip.

Unless they're both pretty clueless and things happen more similar to in the episode. Except for them discovering each others' identities, because they don't go ghost at will. ...Though at least one of them would probably find out the other's identity anyhow. If they end up fighting until dawn they'd both find out quick. Or if Danny's defeated before sunrise, then he won't turn human, so Vlad might lock him up or something, and then Danny Fenton would be mysteriously missing the next morning. After determining he isn't in the castle or anywhere on the grounds and the vulture ghosts have not killed him, Vlad would probably put it together.

As for the reunion... those typically take place at night. But Vlad would probably have it start an hour or two before sunset, do a little mingling, and have his revenge plan take place after dark as Plasmius.

...The Maternal Instincts episode might be a little more iffy, though. How hard it would be to want Maddie to spend the night, to want to romance her, and yet, he can't be around her at night. He would need a butler or someone to greet her and Danny when they show up after dark, and it would be horrible to have to watch from a distance without being able to speak to her. ...Then again, she'd probably be too worried about her son disappearing out in the woods. When she's told that Mr. Masters has retired early but has a guest room for her, she would say to wake him up, her son is missing in the woods and she needs help searching. ...Although... Danny is probably having a very bad time if Maddie happened to lock the Specter Deflector around his waist during the day and he hadn't been able to sneak the key away before sunset.

Another thing that would be interesting to note is what would happen to a halfa during a solar eclipse. With the sun covered during the day like that, he might have some unique-looking features, stuck between ghost and human.

...Would Danny turn even more ghostly during a lunar eclipse? The sun's on the opposite side of the earth, but now even the moon is in shadow. He might run on ghostly instincts during new moons and lunar eclipses. (which doesn't necessarily mean evil. And that could possibly change the Control Freak episode by way of Danny knowing how he would behave as a full ghost.)

actually the funny thing is i have so many things i'm really solid on abt this character except for her uhhh. name. my first thought was anita virosa joy as a shortened form of amanita virosa (we'll get to why) but there's already a character in unova named after amanita so it feels... weird... and then i was also thinking about shepard joy, bc i think shepherd/shepard is a sort of fun thing to call both her and the subway bosses, and also bc it sort of nods to the only unovans with a full canonical name, the harmonias, who are named after musical tones (ghetsis specifically is named after a tritone), as a reference to shepard tones. but then idk if i want to change anita.

and uh. oh god this post is gonna be 50% talking about names, fuck. but unovan names are generally three parts. they use the roman tria nomina, so it goes first name-last name-last name part 2. which is why AVJ/ASJ, and not just AV/AS or AJ. the majority of the time, the last last name denotes a branch of the family, generally stemming from one person who was notable enough to earn a new one.

anyway, the last part of her name is definitely Joy. this is... getting into the region of hcs where i always sort of stop and go "dude this is pokemon. where are we going with this." but anyway, Pokémon Center Nurses in this hc are also generally referred to as "Nurse Joy," like the anime nurses, because their actual legal name is, always, Joy. this is bc the Joy Nursing Order is very intense as an organization, and it's kind of a requirement to adopt the name as a symbol of dedication. this is also why they all look the same like, down to the hair. Nurse Joy is almost like a character you adopt during work hours. most regions just have the family name and personal name, so you'd be XYZ Joy or Joy XYZ, but since unova has three names, it's not uncommon to see people preserve one part of their family name alongside Joy. i guess she could also be joy shepard? hmm.

...anyway. so yeah. she's a pokémon center nurse! or, a retired one, by the time of bw. and the reason why i'm not sold on her being like their, birth mom? or "adopted through normal legal channels" mom? is i don't think she intended to have. kids. being a nurse joy is kind of a demanding job and she's also super single (albeit pretty extroverted with a large social circle, but not really anyone that's like, coparent-with-me close). this is one of those things i keep going back and forth about, but right now what i'm thinking is that maybe the twins were originally the kids of friends of hers, who were very not prepared for having twins or kids as uhh. demanding. as they were. it might have originally been a temporary thing, where said friends went "hey anita i'm sooo super sorry to do this to you but can you watch them for a while while we uhhhhh leave. thx." and then she was like fucka you i'm keeping them. and they were fairly young but not like, babies at that time, probably somewhere in the 8-12 range. but this is all maybe things. if this IS the scenario, i think they're still vaguely in touch with those people (bc extended family interactions with other bw chars maybe) but probably don't consider them family. anita is their mom, thanks.

outside of being a nurse and their mom, her main hobby is pokemon fostering/rehab. she does both. her home's always overrun with little guys. she'll take more or less any of them, as long as they fit physically in her home lmao, but SPECIFICALLY she really likes poison types. her main partner's probably an amoonguss. (this is why the amanita virosa connection.) her one major deviation from the Nurse Joy Uniform is all of the bandaids and such because her hands & arms are perpetually fucked up. it's fine tho. she's used to it. a small price to pay for poison type.

relatedly i think the garbodor on the subway boss teams is actually from her originally. one of her major life goals has been a campaign to get larger unovan cities to shift from trubbish eradication efforts & perceiving them as pests towards actually treating them as worker pokemon, and giving them better care, with alolan grimer and muk and galarian weezing being a major source of inspiration. garbage pokemon are a known phenomenon! if you treat them right they will not be deadly!! she's actually been making pretty good progress on this one, esp. after she retired and could devote more time to it, and esp. in nimbasa city for no reason in particular.

while a lot of it is their own personal thing, i think she also encouraged parts of the twins' specific attitude towards responsibilities and like, general life philosophy. like, "you always have a duty to work with the task or the problem that's in front of you, to improve things for the people around you," etc. which is also sort of a joy nursing order attitude but she takes it to heart and applies it to the rest of her life in a very specific way. and then they took that and put their own spin on it.

i think she lives in anville town, maybe? somewhere where she can have a big enough house and yard to have two kids and a rotating cast of pokes, so not the city, lol. she's close with them still, and they visit pretty frequently (it helps that it's so easy for them if she's in anville) and also sometimes have pokemon for her or will help rehome some of them. and then she's friends with quite a lot of the town, and has established favor exchanges with them (mostly consisting of "anita my purrloin has a cold" or "anita i have a cold") so she was able to lean on quite a few other people to help look after these twins she'd... acquired... when she was busy with work. although they would have probably also come in to the pokemon center with her sometimes!

aaaaaand that's pretty much the whole character brief i think! there are other more minor things but i don't want this to be a mile long, lol, and most of it is "idk maybe" stuff. if you read this the whole way uhhh. thanks! i hope you enjoyed. like i said i had a lot of thoughts about her lmao.

I made a post like 1 month ago talking about my thoughts on Jason x Kimberly ship and how I think it was literally meant to be but was cut off due to salary’s fight on BTS. It isn’t a post to hate on Jason David Frank, but it’s like an explanation about JDF x ASJ legendary rivalry. Our Vegeta VS Goku lol.

The special episode about 30 years of Power Rangers is closer than ever, so I was watching MMPR S1 and it took me to some trivia on Google.

In this link I put here (all in spanish) it was basically what I thought. According ASJ, all the six actors from MMPR cast were unhappy about their salary and the amount of hours of job they had, the six had issues with Fox and tried to do a riot about it.

It happens that Tommy would appear for a few episodes, but everybody loves a bad boy and Fox received like a plenty of letters asking for Tommy to stay. His popularity was instantaneous. So, in that time, the actors needed the six to make a difference, specially JDF, the MVP in that moment. So, fighting about it with Fox, the six actors threatened to leave the show if the payment wasn’t fair. That’s when the things got harder, Fox offered to JDF the lead role as white ranger (the white ranger would exist anyway, but an actor called Brad Hawkins had been cast and, after all this, replaced by JDF). JDF knew he was the most popular character at this point, he knew about the movie and convinced David Yost and Amy Jo Johnson to give up and stay with him.

ASJ, Thuy Trang and Walter Jones had no idea about the caracters’ popularity, like ASJ said, they hadn’t social media in 90s, they worked so hard, they didn’t even know the hit the show was. Maybe they didn’t expected that Fox actually would fire them and the other three actors would give up the fight. The fact is that ASJ told Fox mocked they about Tommy’s popularity factor and said basically they didn’t care because the viewers wanted green ranger and they would make Tommy greater. And, well, they made everything about him without doubts. His image was already saturated. And that was the factor that cut off all the team when JDF decided to leave.

It makes sense to me, I respect JDF and I understand his reasons but I understand ASJ’s reasons too. Also I know ASJ isn’t a saint and neither JDF, but we can’t deny JDF was always a little egocentric and always wanted to be linked to PR franchise in some way, like “the best ranger ever” and things like that. The comic about Tommy is an example, the independent movie he was filming too. It’s ok, it’s ok to be ambitious. I can’t say he did wrong when I don’t know his versions of the sams situation.

So I was searching an answer because my ship didn’t sail back to 90s’ and we have that much of BTS.
