ASHI’S MONOLOGUE:

Sometimes I wonder why I ended up here.

A place named “Twisted Wonderland”, and at a school named “Night Raven College”.

At first, I figured that I was the odd one out— Y’know, the Ramshackle prefect and everything. The magicless girl at the magical all boys school? Nuts, ain’t it?

I’m known for a lot of things. Things that are different from the others. The fact that I stand out is part of the Ashi charm, something I’m known for.

But… Over time I found myself sorta feeling in place here.

Because as much as I try to believe it, I can’t safely say that I’m better than anyone else here.

I’m a fake. I make conversation and lots of friends, but for what? A backup in case something goes wrong? A sense of protection for my reputation? In what case are any of those friendships something I truly want? In what case are any of these strings more than just a tool instead of a thread made of my real feelings?

Behind this, I’m no different from any other student here. Even through my individuality, my cheerfulness, my endearing oddness… I’m still a horrible person. Using people to get what I want, toying with people and their feelings in order to gain power and gain a spot the top. All to become untouchable. It’s screwed. It’s not right.

My insides are ugly. The truth of me is something I want to keep tucked away deeply, because I don’t want people to see this part of me. A brash, annoying, selfish version of me, everything people hate to see. I don’t want this side of me to be seen because people will run away— people I don’t care much about, sures, but people I love, too. I don’t want to drive them away. So I keep quiet and give them a shallow show.

I give them a source of entertainment that’s controlled by the real me, every calculated movement translating into a marionette-like response. The only show I allow you to see is one that’s so carefully crafted by the chaotic clown backstage. The one that is shunned away from the light, the strings being the only hint of the puppet’s phony existence to the foolish audience.

But suddenly, I feel as if being here has started to let this side of me come crawling back into the spotlight.

It scares me.

It scares me to be vulnerable, let all of my faults lay out on the table like playing cards. To take the risk without the protection, to gamble everything I’ve built up away just like that. But you…

You.

You make me feel safe. You make me feel as if I don’t need to hide anything. I can give you the key to my heart and you would have no malicious intent. You wouldn’t cut out the parts people don’t like. You would enjoy the performance in full, every bit of it.

You make me believe that I’m nothing special, and yet something so valuable at the same time.

It’s silly. You’re silly. And yet that’s something that’s helped me.

It’s helped me realize that that truly is just how people are.

We aren’t villains. We aren’t antagonists. We aren’t monsters.

We are nothing but people, with faults and feelings that should be valued.

I am more than just a jester, a sake of entertainment.

I’m a person who is entirely worthy of love. All of me.

It reminds me that I must’ve came here for a reason.

Because this is where I belong.

I'm loving all the neverafter ocs I see so much. Would love to post about mine someday but that means making the effort to write it down and draw them 😭 I need the motivation.

In short terms it's from the Princess and the pea. Including the princess, the prince she marries, and the pea who is evil and the prince and princess are it's warlocks and basically run a cult for the pea (because I love dark/horror comedy so much). I kinda went crazy with it cos most Princess and the pea stories are sooo overly simple that there isn't much more I could riff on lol.

If anyone is interested in knowing more let me know, and also let me know if you have your own neverafter oc! I would love to maybe doodle them, or draw our ocs interacting. I haven't drawn too much d20 stuff in awhile so I'm certainly open to prompts!

My sona!! They're not really canon to the actual story (not this version atleast, Apricot still is) so they look/function a bit extra weird even for my oc standards, but they're cool I like them.

Also to clarify Apricot isn't my sona anymore, she's just a normal oc, the also-being-my-sona part is Rivvy's job now which is part of why they're non-canon. I made this username a good few years before rivvy was a thing tho so I'm gonna stick with it lol

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

Hello, dear Apri! thanks so much for asking. I have quite a few of these. I would never say never and in fact I have started writing all of these, to various extents, but they have been languishing in my docs for many years now so may never see the light of day.

First we have the Theo Knot fic (my eternal thanks to the Theo Knot anon) and I do really want to write this one because I think it would be really fun to tease out the tone? Like, would it be more cracky or more angsty? I think in my planning doc for this one I had the idea to bring adult Teddy into it too, with a werewolf inheritance and maybe him having a crush on Theo and that would bring tension between him and Harry... Or maybe he even has a crush on Harry and his wolfy instincts just make things worse. anyway I am mentioning this here because I really want it to happen sometime!

I also had an idea for a sentient homes fic where Harry finds out he has a country house (also left to him by Sirius) but that the house is actually "mated" or paired in some way with Malfoy Manor. Harry and Draco hate each other, and their house start ruining their lives by trying to shove them together. Lots of potential fun for healing/ redemption arc/ post-war reparation stuff. Plus country squire deliciousness.

Aaaand one other fic I have a good few thousand words written of is a multi-POV quidditch fic where Harry is a washed up somewhat slutty Quidditch star, and Draco comes back from France and buys the team Harry plays for in a last-ditch attempt to save them from relegation. I had eight scenes planned in the POVs of people like Pansy, Lee Jordan, an OC who is a young French seeker Draco recruits, Oliver Wood, Ron, and so on. I think I also had a scene with Draco wearing... gold... shorts? and then the final sex scene would be in Harry/Draco POV. anyway. i think that would be fun as I've never done a full multi POV fic.

Updating my Introductory post because it’s been Nine Months since then and some things have changed !

Hey, hi, and a quick Hello to everyone ! I’m Maki, but I go by many other names such as Stripes, Apri, Mity, Olli, Sunny, Mono, Huxkeys, and dozens of others that I don’t quite feel the need to type out, but will gladly share the list of !

I’m still just a sunflower slash Sushi Roll who doesn’t do much but draw and write, along with all and none of the in between !

I write fanfiction , my own stories, headcanons, and a couple other things, and along with that I like to draw my ocs, characters I enjoy, or just something silly.

I’m a very multifandom account some of the time, but as of current I believe my primary focus will be Inazuma Eleven and my ocs. If that’s not your cup of tea, that’s fine by me ! But feel free to stick around or check in now and again to see if there’s something that is ! I’ve gotten very used to reblogging posts, so I tend to reblog a lot of my dashboard since it’s stuff that has my interest :].

moco aka monicolora, (fordic, cuvier, pallas, nuptus, etc) is my and apri's OC universe we built together. originally they were characters for our own homestuck fancomic! now they're humans.. or whatever we want them to be, honestly. they exist for us to play with, with no official plot for them (aside from AU plots we have cooked up, but they're not ~canon~ so to speak)

LoFA (where crest is from) is apri's own story and world and game she's been working on for years! go ask her about it, it's so cool...
