A/n; goodmorning/night/afternoon. This took me so long to write bc I keep falling asleep. Anyways. Happy reading!!

“Hi, Pretty girl” mark said as you walked into his gaming room. “Do you feel better?” He asked and you nodded feeling fresh from your shower. “Come here I’ll brush your hair” he said “I already did” you informed him and he looked up from his screen. “Oh, you did. Rude, that’s my job” he teased making you smile.

You had a bad day, it was rough. You had lunch with your family, the family you had cut out nearly 3 years ago. You left home at just 19 to live with mark,you cut them and their toxic selves out of your life. However, mark convinced you that you should try again now that you’re just about to turn 22. You’re older now more mature.

It was a total wreck all they did was complain about how you left them,abandoned them. It was awful and it made you honestly very anxious,mark could see it on your face when you came back from it. He ran you a bath and cooked you dinner and just made you feel so much better.

“What’re you gonna play?” You asked and he shrugged “haven’t decided, wanna cuddle?” He asked offering you his lap. You shook your head.

A few months ago mark did something unexpected,you were clingy to say the least and so when he would play games or shoot videos it was hard to leave you alone. You started sitting in the room but you couldn’t get comfortable on the uncomfortable couch.

So, mark bought a decent sized dog bed and stuck it under his desk, he stacked some pillows and blankets up in there and would even put a heated blanket when it was cold. It was your favorite place if you were honest,you could hear him rage at games and it made you giggle.

“You want in your spot?” He asked and you nodded. Mark rolled away so you had space as you clambered into the little hole. You sat down on the plush and squirmed till you were comfortable. “You alright,baby?” He asked and you nodded as he rolled back into place.

Mark always made sure to sit a few inches back so you’d still have room. He liked you down there as much as you liked being down there. He could just glance down and see your pretty face and feel so much better.

You shifted forward enough to lay your head on the side of his knee,you sighed deeply relaxed finally. You could hear mark clicking around and you huffed. “Daddy!” You said and mark looked down at you “hmm?” You reached up his thigh and he chuckled. “No, baby I’m trying to focus” you pouted and he smiled “oh so we are gonna pout now?” You nodded “well, you do that I think it’s cute anyway.” He said turning back to the screen.

You continued to wiggle your fingers up his leg “Baby.” He warned urging you to giggle. “You just don’t wanna sleep with me.” You said pouting, “ah, hey you know I love doing that. Stop it you’re literally gaslighting me” he said laughing at your attempts. “Here, hold on let me just do this one thing” he said followed by clicking.

Mark dropped one of his hands down glancing down at you. “Here,you can suck on these” he said and you smiled taking two of his fingers into your mouth and sucking against them. “There, we happy?” He asked and you nodded.

Mark turned his attention back to his game as you continued to suck against his fingers the action calming you.

A soft silence fell for awhile as mark focused and you could feel your body getting tired. “You doing alright baby?” He asked coming to a point he could pause. “Mhm” you babbled around his fingers. “You look so sleepy” he said chuckling,he wiggled his fingers in your mouth urging you to lean your head up to him so he could gain better access.

“See, you’re being a good girl now.” He praised and you giggled chomping down on his fingers “ow” he huffed and smiled. You continued to chomp “ow,ow,ouch. Stop it,you little brat I will spank you” he threatened trying to pull his fingers from your mouth, you kept bitting.

“I will smack you across your pretty face, fucking stop” he huffed and of course,you didn’t at all. Mark rolled back a bit his hand coming in contact with a soft sting to your cheek. You whimpered around his fingers and he chuckled. “You happy now? Did you get what you wanted?” He asked and you giggled sucking against his fingers.

“Such a little brat.” He huffed shoving his fingers into the back of your throat urging you to gag. “Dumb little pain slut.” He growled out. “Fucking, baby. You don’t get what you want so you bite me? That’s exactly why you didn’t get what you want. I should make you got to bed, it’s late you know” you whimpered. “You gonna be good?” He asked “mhm!” You mumbled.

“Good, now let daddy get back to his game.” He said turning back to the screen as you laid your head back onto his knee.

Another hour or so passes and you’re getting restless. You pulled his fingers out with a pop “daddy, want you” you said and he looked down “Yeah?, you want sleepy time baby?” You nodded “bed time daddy!” You said smiling. “I have one round left why don’t you go brush your teeth and get comfy I’ll be there soon, baby” you nodded and climbed from under him.

“Hey, baby?” He said and you stopped turning back around to him “you’re a good girl,you know that right?” You nodded and he smiled.

You got yourself ready for bed, brushed your teeth,washed your face,combed your hair. You climbed into the bed waiting for mark, you were scrolling through your phone. The door opened and mark peaked inside “psst” you looked over at him. “Do you want doggies tonight?” You nodded “yeah!” Mark pressed the door opened.

Chica and Henry jumped on the bed and you smiled “there’s the babies” you said petting them. Mark rarely let them sleep in the bed since y’all got together, it just got too hot and then wouldn’t be still. Sometimes if you were having a bad day like today tho he’d let them sleep in here.

Mark came back from the bathroom and climbed in the bed, you waited for him to be settled before scooting over and snuggling into his chest. “I love you, pretty girl” you smiled “I love you too.”

Markiplier x Teen!Daughter! Reader - Streaming Troubles

“Alright, so if we go down this hallway and to the left, there should be the exit..” You mumbled to no one in particular, your character roaming a haunted hallway inside of a horror game called “123 Slaughter Me Street”. The chat of your youtube livestream was rather slow today. There were plenty of people watching, over 6 thousand people, but it wasn’t as active as it was normally.

Maybe you weren’t seeing how fast it actually was. It was raining outside which seemed to slow the world down, and you were playing a horror game, making you hyper sensitive to every moving thing in the room within your peripheral vision. It really wasn’t the most ideal or relaxing environment, but that was fine. It was a horror game stream so why in the world would it be relaxing?

As you finally found the exit, your chat began to go absolutely nuts, comments flashing by faster than you could read it. Comments like, “BEHIND YOU!!” and “OMGOSH (YT/n) LOOK OUT!” being the most common which made you confused as you entered the lit doorway inside the game. “Chat what are you-”

A loud shout and the feeling of two hands grabbing your shoulders made you shriek and thrash around, consequently falling out of your chair and onto the floor. There above you, laughing with his hands on his knees, was your dad, Markiplier. “HAHAHA! The look on your face was priceless!” You got up, smacking him lightly on the arm. “You’re lucky I finished the level, otherwise I would’ve killed you.”

Mark smiled, looking at you with an innocent look. “Aww don’t be like that. You know you love me.” Returning to your chair, you smirked and let your hands rest on the keyboard and mouse. “I don’t know.. I think I’m starting to shift more to hate than love.” Mark let out a dramatic gasp, his hands flying to the back of your chair and shaking it as he exclaimed, “But (Y/n), hatred to the dark side leads! Has Star Wars taught you nothing??”

The chat was still thriving with the many viewers shouting compliments, hellos, and proclamations of love to you and Mark, as well as laughing at your family antics. “Anyway,” your dad continued, watching as you start up the next level, “I got some Chick-Fil-A while I was out and I have some food for you if you want it.”

“Oh heck yeah I want it. Thank you! I take back what I said about hating you.” Mark laughed as he left the room and came back a moment later with the bag of deliciousness, followed closely by Chica who stared intently at the delivery. “Alright, see you after the stream! Love you!” He said, waving behind him as he left the room.

“Love you too!” You paused the game, opening up the bag and sorting the food on the desk before resuming. Looking back at the stream, the stream of comments hadn’t entirely died down from their Markiplier high. “Oi, chat, stop calling my dad hot.” Taking a bite out of a waffle fry, you started a new level.

-timeskip a week later-

“No, Alcina Lady Dimitrescu would never be a vessel for someone so unworthy as Eva! Already perfect is what you were trying to say! Already the pinnacle of evolution! You could literally do no better than what you already have so why would you even need a vessel for Eva?” Announced Mark as he played through Resident Evil Village.

As he continued his rant, a knock came from the door. “Dad! She’ll be a fine vessel. It’s not like Lady’s alive or anything.” You called, opening the door to the room. Yes, you knew he was recording but decided to mess with him. “No! Shut up! You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Stop lying to yourself! She’s dead, she’s not real, and she’s not coming back!”

“First of all, she’s not dead, she’s just in my pocket in the form of an inanimate crystal statue. Also, I could say the same thing about some of those fictional boys you love so much.”

“At least my fictional relationships won’t try to kill me as soon as they see me.”

“Listen, we have a very complicated relationship! You wouldn’t understand our love.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say.” You promptly left the room as Mark rolled her eyes. “She doesn’t know what she’s talking about, chat.”

-timeskip the next day-

You were once again streaming live on YouTube, this time playing Fall Guys. So far you had managed to score two wins out of the seven rounds you played thus far. During a break in the game, you once again saw your chat go nuts with excited greetings to your dad. Turning around, you noticed Mark frozen in place, as if by not moving you wouldn’t notice him. The two of you stayed in that position, your interlocked gazes not breaking for about a minute.

In his hand was a small box of mocha pop tarts.

“Breaking your diet again, are you?” You said, crossing your arms as Mark started moving again, hiding the opened box of pastries behind your reading pillow and some stuffies in front of your bookshelf. The box was perfectly hidden on the lower shelf. “Don’t tell Amy.” He simply said, exiting the room.

The chat continued to move quickly, people spamming messages like:

“Don’t worry! I’ll never snitch on you 🤫”

“I LOVE YOU MARK!!!”

“Even when binge eating poptarts, he’s still friggin hot!”

And “MARK PLS MARRY ME!!”

Yes, this certainly wasn’t uncommon when he appeared in a stream, but it did get annoying at times. “Chat, calm the heck down and for heaven’s sake stop calling my dad hot!”

“An interesting comment section you have here.” suddenly came a comment from Mark in the live chat, making it blow up once again with the praise and nearly undivided attention from the excited viewers.

“(sigh). This is gonna be a long stream…” You grumbled under your breath as you continued the game.

-timeskip later that day-

Mark was relaxing in the living room when You walked downstairs, sitting down on a nearby couch. An awkward silence filled the room, the two of them not daring to break it or even look at each other. The pressure began to build with every second that passed till it reached a breaking point when a female voice entered the scene with the sound of a closing door.

“Mark, (Y/n)! I’m here!”

“I’M GONNA TELL AMY!!”

“(Y/N) NO!!!”

OPM/MP100 Characters as Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon Incidents

Dimple: Has exactly one rope tethering him, pray to your gods and your devils that he doesn’t decide to do a back flip, and then prepare, because it is not an if, but a when.

Garou: Every year he snags on at least four buildings, one time he just drifted off down the wrong street and no one realized until he’d somehow committed attempted murder on a pedestrian.

Genos: You’d think nothing would happen, but then the balloon would randomly explode because a mosquito smacked into it. If I had a nickle for every time this happened, I would have no time to count through them all because I would be dealing with the lawsuit.

Reigen: No one ever sees his balloon, somehow they always manage to time it so the ads run in place of the footage of him passing by. If they lost him somehow, they would absolutely replace him with a dollar store party balloon with his name written on it. Despite never having seen this balloon, you would be somewhat relieved by this.

Mob: Literally the most well behaved balloon, some of these fuckers are over here causing international crises, meanwhile he just occasionally gets stirred up by a strong wind and gets a little hard to handle. One year he got loose, but everybody ran to get him safely back, and now he gets extra tethers.

Saitama: Stopped a terrorist attack. Saved the president. Stopped global warming and terraformed mars. Nobody has seen this balloon in years. It drifted off one time and no one noticed. Now it’s just randomly seen in the background of major breaking news broadcasts. What the fuck is this balloon, how is it doing this. Theorists are afraid.

Mumen Rider: Has to be patched every year, sometimes more than once. It’s amazing this balloon is still recognizable. In his debut, he knocked over a stand of bikes, and promptly got run into by a spiky grey haired balloon that popped him. Tumblr posts pics of this balloon in a hospital bed like he’s Markiplier breaking his nose for the fifth time.

Tatsumaki: Is the balloon...Oh fuck...it’s ROTATING, what the fuck, holy shit MOVE, OH MY GOD IT’S TANGLED WITH ALL THE OTHER BALLOONS AND IS VEERING OFF THE PATH, HOLY- IT HIT THE PRESIDENT, I REPEAT, THE PRESIDENT IS DOWN, THE PRESIDENT IS-

King: Stopped a terrorist attack. Saved the president. Stopped global warming and terraformed mars. This balloon is front and center every year, everyone believes it is an omen of incredible luck. There’s nothing tying this balloon to any of the things it’s supposedly done, but his followers are unwavering. Catholics are afraid.

Ritsu: Almost destroyed a city block one year. Has never had an incident since. Often mistaken for another balloon.

Serizawa: Giving this balloon an open umbrella was a terrible idea. Would be the most passive balloon in the world if not equipped with Satan’s sail. Thankfully, he’s well tethered and hasn’t gotten loose recently. He usually just bumps gently into the other balloons and stops anyways.

Fubuki: Seems intent on clinging to every other balloon in the parade. They’ve tried reducing the static cling, but this balloon really just can’t stand being alone. Unfortunately, it means that smaller balloons tend to get pushed off course and damaged. Bigger balloons seem to do just fine.

Shou: Hit a power line, caught on fire, burned its tethers and flew loose over the city for multiple hours, causing dozens of injuries because of melted plastic dripping off of it. The man who made this balloon was charged with several crimes for making a balloon this dangerous and knowingly releasing it into the world. It has since been remade, and has had few incidents.

Captainsona Picrew Time!!!

Here is, as promised, the big post with the taglist and shit. I made it in the form of an FAQ because idk how to do this lol.

What is this project?

I'm making a picrew (an avatar maker on the Picrew website) for In Space With Markiplier captainsonas! If you don't know what that means, go watch ISWM, I am begging you, it is so good. Ahem. Anyway, it'll have a lot of customization, from canonical outfits to lots of facial expressions to realistic and rainbow skin colors. I will be posting updates on the project, and taking input and suggestions, during the long, long, process of making it. This post is general info and an FAQ for the project and the process.

When will this be done?

To be honest, I don't know. I have a lot of stuff going on, and while I am really passionate about this project, it takes many many hours to make even one part of a picrew.

As of making this post, I've spent around nine hours on just the drawing, not including uploading and figuring out the actual Picrew side of things, and I only have the ears and head uploaded, with the mouths almost done but not even colored.

So it will take a while. However, I do plan to post it as a WIP when I have enough of it done to be somewhat usable.

What's the taglist for? How do I add or remove myself?

The taglist is a list of people that want to be tagged when I post updates about the picrew. (You can also follow #captainsona picrew, if you want to see them but don't want to be tagged.) It'll be at the bottom of each post about the project, under the cut.

What program/brush are you using?

I use Krita, a free art program, on my Windows Surface 8 and a brush called "d) Ink-3 Gpen" (the yellow pen one that's in the favorites by default). It's a square-ish brush that doesn't change opacity, so it's good for the clean, solid lines I want in my picrew.

How do I make suggestions?

You can drop suggestions in my ask box, or message me directly! (If it's in the tags or comments of a post, it may get lost.) Feel free to just chat with me, too!

Why are you doing X that way? Don't you know there's a way more efficient/standard/easy way to do it?

Nope, I don't! This is my first time making a picrew, my first time making a taglist, and my first time making such a big project. If you have any suggestions on how I can do any of the above better or easier, please do let me know.

it is with a heavy heart that i must announce. the five nights at freddy's movie was really good

sorry for how much of a behemoth this post is im fnaf autism just bear with me also i can't keep my thoughts straight for the life of me so this will be a bumpy ride. as an additional note i got very lucky and had literally 0 spoilers whatsoever for this movie, i haven't even seen the trailer

so first of all: i thought all the changes they made to the plot to make it work for a movie were good decisions, altho some of them did take a minute to actually feel like good changes lmao. once i thought about em a bit more though they made sense.

one of the things i really liked was that they also did include a lot of the things i wanted them to, or more specifically things that you're like "you literally can't have a fnaf movie without these, it just wouldn't be right", like we got mike schmidt, we got fucking VANESSA??? altho she might be in the trailer so that might not be the same reveal for yall as it was for me but still. they heavily alluded to vanny? (altho that's a part i'm kinda sad abt is they didn't /actually/ include vanny, vanessa just makes an offhand comment about how she "wouldn't be much help" if she was around afton and then. comes to help anyways and doesnt have any issues? lame they shouldve had him hypnotise her and then she fought her way out to help mike and abby. or alternatively they couldve used the family restructuring to make vanny be a result of afton giving vanessa osdd-2, like thats kinda functionally what he does with the mask anyways but this would make it more obvious).

also swinging back to changes they made that i liked!! VANESSA AFTON?? like this is the one that took me a while to get used to bc it feels like such a cliche from an outside perspective but it also kind of Super Isn't considering what the original plot is? like all the family restructuring they did makes pretty good sense to me, i do think it loses a bit of the weight having michael be Just Some Guy Whose Brother Happened To Be Kidnapped By Afton Forever Ago and now coincidentally has this weird guy offering him a job as a night guard, but also the og lore. absolutely would not fit into a movie lmao. so i like that they kept the characters everyone wanted around while also rearranging it to keep the spirit of "learning about all of this for the first time through the eyes of a security guard" you get from playing the games. it's fun for people who don't know the lore because it's easy to follow and it's fun for people who /do/ know the lore because they can pull apart all the differences.

oh right back to things they included that i wanted them to. we gotttt chica's cupcake murdering people, we got FUCKING MATPAT? SAYING THE ITS JUST A THEORY LINE? SOUNDING THRILLED OFF HIS ASS TO BE THERE??? i dont like the man and his opinions vis a vis addressing nonbinary characters but. goddamn was that a funny cameo. why couldnt you include markiplier too you fucking cowards. who said that. anyways. oh we kind of tangentially have a canon name for crying child? aka garrett? like idk this one could go either way because like. yeah he's mike's younger brother that died tragically and scarred him for life, makes sense that theyd be the same character in function but also it is technically a different family so who knows.

umm what else. oh this doesnt rlly fall into either category i just really liked it, the intro sequence for all the animatronics? showing what they can /really/ do with the breaking and entering dudes?? that was such a cool sequence i really liked the whole thing honestly. chica being introduced in the kitchen and the dude finding the cupcake then looking back and it's gone? bonnie in the supply closet? foxysprint??? AND FREDDY!! THE BITE!!! in case anyones reading this before watching the movie so they know what to expect: youll know when this moment is coming and if youre watching it at home with friends i HIGHLY recommend having the "was that the bite of 87" clip ready to play right after, they WILL lose their shit. i had it queued up from the very beginning of the movie cause i was like. they can't not include it /somehow/, it's the fnaf movie there has to be A Bite. and sure enough. oh also it's not at the same time but the golden freddy reveal is really good too, they did a good job of setting it up so even if youre already aware of golden freddy conceptually you still go "oh freddy's here? i mean i guess that makes sense he's the leader and all. or wait what happened to his eye why's he only got one? oh. oh i see. ohohohohohohohoho" 100/10. also very funny that they just straight up. MURDER THE AUNT? AND SHE NEVER GETS MENTIONED AGAIN SHE JUST IS DEAD??? the kid isnt like. hey what happened to aunt jane?? i get none of them liked her and with good reason but youd think at least one of em would be like "damn she sucked but she didnt deserve that, rip jane"

oh and the springlocks of course the springlocks. like as soon as we saw aftons name in the cast list we all knew he was gonna get springlocked, it's such a cherished memory for so many of us and there's no way in hell The Fnaf Movie™ wouldnt include afton getting springlocked, they just legally can't leave that out. and they do it pretty well too like yeah if you know what's gonna happen you can see it coming way ahead of time and it's kind of a slow crawl to get there but like. idk i think it still works pretty well. i don't personally like how long the actual springlocking itself took, i think they couldve milked that a little bit less cause i was under the impression that if one springlock failed they All Would Instantaneously And Your Flesh Body Will Become Occupied By A Full Endoskeleton. but no we just get very slow rib beartrap. w/e though still cool and again the leadup to it was really good even knowing exactly how it would end, like just the really slow shuffling of the animatronics towards him? like yeah it's slow and kinda tedious but its also like. theres literally nothing you can do, youre surrounded and defenseless and theyre infinitely faster and stronger than you and now they remember that you killed them. and you just have to sit there and watch them slowly slowly get closer all while trying to talk your way out of it knowing youre fucked. 10/10 they did that part well

oh and that also falls under changes i liked, i liked that instead of "afton tries to escape intangible ghosts by getting into old decrepit suit which then fails and kills him" it was "afton was already in the suit to do murders in and has brainwashed the bots to follow him" wait omg point postponed i just realized that part is from security breach. i thought vanessa was the only thing they brought over from that i didnt even notice that they werent doing the theyre-attacking-all-adults-indiscriminately thing goddamn. omg wait and the fact that the restaurants already closed in this one, it really is just a blend of all the games huh. scott do you see how much more coherent your plot couldve been if there wasnt So much going on. anyways. back to what i was saying. instead of "afton tries to escape intangible ghosts by getting into old decrepit suit which then fails and kills him" it was "afton was already in the suit to do murders in and brainwashed the ghosts into thinking he was their friend so they would help him do murders while possessing the robots. then they get their memories back and the robots turn on him and.. i think deliberately? set off the springlocks, or were just aiming to regular kill him and the springlocks failing was a happy accident? then the robots drag him away as they keep slowly one by one collapsing into him", like the first one made a lot of sense for the game and the timeline and the second one just feels right for this too. it's still his hubris that kills him, still his springlocks, it's just in one version the hubris is "trusting his springlock design to still work after however many years" and in the other its "thinking he has conplete control over the ghosts he killed", plus the ghosts finally get a bit more direct participation in his death than in the other version lol.

one change i did not like. forced het romance. like i dunno i guess im happy for them, both of those characters have certainly earned happy endings by this point so its nice they can get something cutesy. but also. like cmon man it's vanessa and mike do we have to do this she just got stabbed stop holding her hand

oh also this change wasnt really good or bad i just thought it was funny, vanessas a full on cop now? like i get they prolly just dont wanna have two security guards or something but i mean. it wouldve been really easy to just say she was the day shift guard? thatd explain why she had more information on the bots and the place's history than him, why she's always Around, it wouldve even flowed into the vanessa afton reveal pretty well too because like. yeah obviously a guy doing murders would want his main security guard to be someone he trusts and who better than his theoretically brainwashed daughter yknow? as it was she just kinda Showed Up Knowing Stuff And Ignoring Questions and later afton's like "you were supposed to be keeping an eye on him" but like of course Mike was getting dodgy about the weirdo cop loitering nearby for no reason, thats sus as hell lmao. vs "experienced security guard here to show you the ropes" he would have a much easier time trusting that she actually did have his best interests at heart. idk it just seemed like a weird change to me lmao

ummm oh my roommate pointed out the fact that when they tried to springlock abby the suit they were aiming for looked suspiciously like circus baby and abby and baby are anagrams so thats fun. it's hard to tell though if shes intended to be a rework of elizabeth or if vanessa's filling that role now. cause like on the one hand, michael's younger sister whose name is v close to baby, on the other hand, vanessa is afton's daughter. so idk i feel like it could go either way. if abby's elizabeth i guess that negates the thing about garret maybe being crying child's name bc then theyd prolly just be keeping mike's name the same. w/e

oh my god i completely forgot when i was talking about changes to the afton springlock thing, they had him deliberately put his mask on after the other springlocks started releasing and say the "i always come back" line, i thought that was an excellent touch. like he's actively dying a horrific death and is like. no no. im not leaving this bot. this shit is going to suck ass no matter what so i might as well do all i can to ENSURE my soul gets locked in this fuckin thing, go on stab me in the brain lets do this. i will however also say that having him say "i always come back"... before he's even come back the first time? is a little bit weird, i know thats another one of the "we have to include this in the fnaf movie" things so im not mad but just in the moment it def flows a bit weird. like mf you don't even have one example of that yet much less several to be saying "always" about

OH AND THE BIGGEST ONE. THE ANIMATRONICS. theyre so good. like im so glad they went all in on that, i think they probably knew that if there was one single thing they had to get absolutely 100% right to avoid a fan uprising it was those and by god did they deliver, theyre so big and so unsettling and so fun. chica's wink at abby was the best part of the movie no questions asked. or alternatively bonnie falling over after they built the fort. like theyre all just so good. OH MY GOD OR IN CHICA'S INTRODUCTION SEQUENCE WHERE YOU CAN SEE HER JUST. SCOOTING BY THROUGH THE VENT?? THAT WAS THE FUNNIEST THING OF ALL TIME HELLO???

god. but yeah i was honestly expecting it to be a lot worse than it was. also this mike is a bad brother/dad figure. but i guess in the games he also kind of is the pinnacle of bad brother so i mean it couldve been a lot worse. theres definitely some rough parts, i mightve mentioned this already but i felt like a few of the dramatic pause things were a bit too drawn out, like i said the springlocks locking is one good example of that but another that i REALLY found slow was like. in the opening we watch a guy get turbomurdered by the swirly blade mask and it takes. way longer than i feel like was necessary. also unnecessary: a jumpcut a second from scared eyes to swirly blades to hands fumbling and repeating during that. oh another thing that was weird to me, why was mike so insistent on sleeping specifically at night? to the point of deliberately sleeping on the job? like i get he wanted to revisit the kidnapping dream but like. presumably he could dream just as well during the day, no? done his night shift then once it was up rolled out a sleeping bag for a quick powernap before heading home? idk that just felt. forced to me

more random things, i am sad we didnt get a whiff of henry emily (my fringe theory was that their twist to change it from the games was they were gonna make henry be evil, rip to that idea) or the puppet/charlie, and kinda sad they changed the kid possessing golden freddy to be a boy like. we love cassidy and her Undying Rage Towards Afton's Soul smh why would you get rid of her. also loved balloon boy, kinda wish mangle had gotten like a similar level appearance but thats w/e. oh also while i did appreciate the low gore level there were also a few times where it was a bit weird how minor the injuries the dead people had were. like this man just had his face put in a blender mask and he just has like. some forehead gashes or whatever? he should look like someone stirred up jello

anyways with that gross thought i think i am out of things to say about the movie for now. if anyone else watched it already and somehow read all of this blease tell me your thoughts

EXPLODES /POS FINALLY AN EXCUSE TO RAMBLE ABOUT ULTRAKILL,,,,

so. if you want to go in blind? go to the steam page and download the free demo. it lets you play the first layer for free to see if it's something you'd enjoy. while ultrakill hasn't triggered any seizures for me, it has been known to trigger people's motion sickness. it also features a...LOT of death (you killing hellspawn), blood (can be turned off though!!), and LORE!!!! i would recommend at least being a little bit familiar with dante's inferno to appreciate everything the game does with it (following it normally, following it too literally, completely subverting its meaning at times, just playing around with it!!)

ultrakill is designed to be a very hard, skill-based, bash your head into the wall for a few hours kind of game. there are assist settings to make it more accessible but you need to know if you play this game that you are SUPPOSED to suck ass at it for the first several hours until you learn how everything interacts (pro tip: learn how to use the coin gun properly. that thing has CARRIED me).

looking at letsplays (markiplier's is a personal favorite but also the VA of gabriel playing ultrakill in-character is incredible) and staring at all the art of these very queercoded robots and watching the insanity of ultrakill speedruns is also very funny, but obviously, spoilers.

So,, saw the FNAF movie...

I've been following this franchise since like,, the first game and even though it was never like a HUGE fixation that lasted super long, it was still something I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd watch all of Mark's videos every time they came out, fan game or not, and was religiously watching Matpat's theories because I just thought they were so cool and well thought out.

Anyways, when the game first came out and I was just getting into it, I was in middle school (I think) and I grew up religious so my mom naturally hated the game. She hated the game and she hated Markiplier and I remember I hated her for it because at the time I was a big fan and I loved Markiplier. I don't know how she found out about it but as soon as she heard "killing kids" and "horror" it was over.

And I remember always being so jealous every time I saw someone with FNAF merch because I wanted merch so badly but I wasn't allowed to get it. And to run salt into the wound, I always saw kids who were younger than me with the merch, and that made me even more upset because I was like, "Why do kids younger than me get to enjoy the game so freely? Why aren't their parents concerned about the content they're consuming?"

Flash forward all these years and now I'm twenty, I've got my own money, got FNAF merch for the first time ever, and got to go see the movie with my sister. Had this movie come out years earlier, I guarantee you there was absolutely no chance of me seeing it in theaters.

In the week leading up to today, I've been listening to FNAF fan music nonstop and that just made me all the more hyped for the movie. Seeing everyone else who grew up with the game and making their posts about how they're seeing this movie for that kid just got me all emotional because today I went to go see that movie for the struggling, angry, confused middle schooler who would indulge in the silly little animatronics and watch the silly man scream at them just to feel a little happy.

Let me tell you, 11-year-old me enjoyed that movie so much. It felt like a piece of me was put to rest, as cheesy as it is (and fitting for this franchise) but I had an absolute blast.

…All right, here’s the thing.

That picture is a rough approximation of how a younger me would’ve figured a sequel to Sister Location would go rather than Pizza Sim. I actually thought Springtrap/Purple Guy, Michael, and William were all separate characters at one point. Not Mike-Trap, not Will-Trap, but all three of them co-existing.

(…And Elizabeth/Circus Baby too, but I don’t think I factored in her side of things quite as much as I do now. Maybe I would’ve guessed that she just… ran away and lived a weirdly happier life for a bit?)

So, yes, I was under the impression that William was just being a sketchy dude with very faulty, cutting-edge robots. I think I was aware of Elizabeth and her haunting Circus Baby, but I failed to see how important that actually was.

Oh and I was under the impression that Sister Location was a spinoff to FNAF and not a sequel. Because… I thought the good ending was canon at the time? I think??

…Yes, my mind jumped to even weirder conclusions that they do now. I know I only followed occasionally through Markiplier and it was a different time, but I’m still baffled.

Possibly Moving Accounts (Keyword: POSSIBLY)

Yo yo, (TL;DR is at the bottom if this is a lot of reading. Sorry about that, I just wanted to give y'all as much info as possible.)

So, first actual post of mine, I think. Not super sure how to bring this up otherwise, but I've been considering moving accounts for a bit. I originally made this because my hyperfixation at the time was YouTuber-related (mostly Markiplier and Jacksepticeye), but that's not the case for me anymore. Oddly enough, I think I only got more active on this account just before my hyperfixation changed-

I've really been considering making a Mario-themed tumblr, since that's my current hyperfixation, but I don't wanna lose my mutuals, y'know? I might keep this one, mostly for liking/reblogging posts, but I think most of the activity would be on the Mario account. I was thinking I can have that tumblr for all my headcanons, maybe some writing/art here and there, etc. (This is also largely because a lot of my mutuals are Mario accounts, and I'd like to follow suit-)

Anyways, uh, if anybody would go one way or the other, or maybe if you're a non-Mario mutual that would be willing to follow me over there, let me know, I guess? I think that's the main thing stopping me at this point.

TL;DR: I'm considering moving accounts (from a YTer-based account to a Mario-themed account), but I'm hesitant to because I don't want to lose some of my mutuals. I would still use this one on occasion, but most activity would be on the Mario blog. Looking for thoughts, esp. from mutuals, Mario-themed or not.

Thanks for sticking around on this account, regardless of what I decide to do. It's been fun interacting with peeps, even though I don't interact as much as I'd like to with some of you.

Hey everyone, it’s the Leap Year, that means it Leaper’s birthday. So I did some art of them

That being said, I want to post a personal update on well… *gestures to all of tumblr*

By now I’m sure the news of Tumblr’s partnership with mid journey and other AI art making companies has already spread, it’s bad…really bad

I understand there’s the opt out toggle (which I have already opted out of) but that being said, it’s clear that it’s not even reliable and that the data of my art and posts may be taken anyway despite it. For all I know, all of my posts as far back as 2016 may have already been given to these companies and I wouldn’t know

I have tried so hard to avoid it, I have jumped ship from both twitter and instagram to avoid this issue, but now it just seems unavoidable.

I know there’s AI poisoning tools like glaze and nightshade, however the downloads only work on desktop computers and unfortunately for the time being I have only been able to use mobile devices to make and post my creations. And to use the mobile friendly version of these tools I have to be accepted into WebGlaze via DM’s by their social media staff themselves. And who knows if they will give me an invite, it’s been a few days since I contacted them and I have received no replies yet.

So with that being said, this may or may not be the last piece of art I post here on tumblr. I genuinely hope not, I hope I get access to these poisoning tools soonish. But my hope is practically non existent. The internet seems to be becoming harder and harder for small artists like me to exist in online spaces. And while I barely have an audience, I still don’t appreciate the idea that someone could be profit off mine or my other fellow artist’s stolen work while I can barely muster the courage to even open commissions (or for my friends who do have commissions open and they are barely getting any clients or the recognition they deserve)

I do plan on still being active here, even if it’s just reblogging or liking posts or answering asks, but when it comes to sharing art online I can say that I have to step away from a bit until I know I can post my art knowing it can be exploited without me knowing.

For now the only thing I can say is if you have a toy house account, you can find me and my art there if anyone l still wants to see what I make. And I still plan on participating in artfight this upcoming July as well. But until I get access to those poisoning tools or some miracle happens and AI art dies, I genuinely don’t see myself posting art here anymore.

I will pin a separate post with my toyhouse account on it if anyone wants to follow me over there. I will keep yall updated if circumstances change for any reason though.

But on one final note, if this is truly the end for me and I can’t get the resources, I do want to say thank you to everyone who supported this blog. Either it be my mutuals, my regular followers, or even people have simply liked some content from me. I would have never thought posting fanart of jacksepticeye and markiplier would lead me to meeting the people I have met through this site. Tumblr is what inspired me to make art in the first place, I just feel terrible that even watermarks can’t protect my creations anymore.

While this isn’t a permanent goodbye, all I can do is say good night to my art sharing for the time being. Thank you all again, and to my fellow creators I’m sorry you all are also burdened with fighting this fight against AI and I hope we eventually gain victory on it down the road. Nothing will replace those who genuinely pour their heart and soul into art. No matter how good of a computer can mimic it

INTRODUCTION—

i’ve been a tumblr user since 2015, middle school, and yet i have, not once, attempted to post. so here i am now, 2023, almost out of highschool, finally picking up this goddamn cursed app out of the trenches. the trenches of apps that were EXTREMELY close to being offloaded for storage saving… thats how much i used it

and now, motivated by my partner (unknowingly) to give a single shit abt this app, here i am making an introduction post.

so first off, im robbie, zara, whatever. two names because im genderfluid and have fought and been annoyed of the name i had been given at birth, only to start accepting it again when i had finally been accepted with my chosen name. i make my own problems. hence, i use both, i don’t care anymore.

i go by any pronouns, i used to have a preference but i realized…

1. theres too many people in this world that aren’t going to care about what i want, and im tired of pushing that, not that its not awesome TO push that agenda, but personally its not something i have the energy for. 2. i literally feel comfortable with one pronoun one day, and then i don’t the next, so why even bother. and im not going to bother with making people ask what im comfortable with that day, because chances are, i don’t know myself.

another awesome thing, im gay! lesbian. i fancy all types of women and don’t plan on stopping. particularly adore handsome women, or handsome people in general, that can also be cute and pretty. (is it obvious enough my lesbianism is fluid? ofc no men, but ykw i mean.)

What Goes Around... (In Space with Markiplier Fic) Markiplier x GN!Reader (Platonic…Kinda)

(Hello My babies! It's me again! So we have just had the release of In Space with Markiplier, Part 1 AND 2!!! I watched them both and I am honestly in love with it! I miss falling in love with the Markiplier Cinematic Universe! But now I am here to bring it back! And give you all some stories of my own based on the beloved youtuber and his family of lovable characters!) (As always! Requests are open! "So that was it?.... It's over?"

A breath escaped your lips, your mind racing with all the lingering presences and familiar faces that you'd seen all over this universe. You took a moment and closed your eyes carefully, letting the air pass through your lung and relieve your body of it's stress.

The silence.

That's all you could hear.

No whirr of a wormhole launching you through the fabric of reality, or echoes of the past or future screaming after you.

Just silence.

It was soothing. It made you realise how weak you felt after carrying the burden of saving the universe and everyone in it.... but now, it was just quiet.

“You destroyed it… all I’ve built….” Murmured a voice from behind you. It sounded so familiar but yet so foreign to your ears. So you turned your head slightly and looked to the source of the voice.

Mark, your Mark…. Shocked and stumbling to find his words as he stared at the powerless conductor that once held the warp crystal. There was so much confusion and hurt in just a few words, it was heartbreaking to hear. Even more so to hear his anger that followed.

“This was our last chance to fix everything and it’s gone!” His voiced raised as he shifted his gaze to look at you. Those brown eyes staring right at you with emotions that even you had never seen in him. There was immediate guilt filling your chest, a tight pressure in your chest that made it hard to breathe. But Mark didn’t seem to notice, he just kept blaming you for a choice you felt was right.

“M-Mark…. I… I…” You tried to speak, but there was no chance for you to do so, instead, Mark only exclaimed his own defeat again. He gripped your wrist tight to prevent you from backing away from him, a mindless fear that of you leaving him again. He spent all those lifetimes without you, the person he cared for the most. All those eternities of trying to fix a machine like this just for the one person he trusted more than himself, to come and throw it all away. It was like a knife to his heart. That betrayal.

This was his one chance to got back and stop you from ruining the chance of survival for the ship. But when you threw away the crystal to a place in the universe to god knows where, it was clear that you were trying to stop him. And that was something he couldn’t understand.

“I don’t know if you’re evil, or just stupid. But if I’m not back there to fix it-…” He paused, his face relaxing slightly like he was enlightened. And that’s when the room went silent again. All you could do was watch as Mark looked back to the Warp Core, watching his eyes as he tried to finally piece this all together. If he never went back, then there was no way for the ship to be sabotaged…. So you…. saved everything?

“Captain?….” Mark turned his head again to meet your eyes, he couldn’t help but stare for a moment, realising just what he had done, or what he could’ve done. In that moment, there was a realisation and understanding between you. All the life times and things you both have seen became so clear. He felt his own knees grow weak but before he could collapse, a pair of arms wrapped around him to hold him tight. It took him by surprise, but Mark smiled and returned the hug carefully.

An entire dividing point of the universe all met with a single hug between friends. The chaos of it all could finally end, and all was finally right.

“I’m-…..Captain…” He spoke, through faltering breaths and holding back tears, Mark held you tighter and closed his eyes. His body slowly giving in to the exhaustion. “Captain, I’m tired…”

He finally admitted, making you stop for a moment. Your heart sinking in your chest as he finally admitted everything to you. You pulled back and looked Mark in the eye as he continued to speak. It made you smile through the tears and laugh softly.

“Mark…. We’ve come so far… sure, the pain is still there. We’re both tired, but we’ve both done this, whether we were divided or not, we both have done this and we fixed it…” You smiled and used your hand to hold his gently. Squeezing it for comfort as the ship began to rumble and seized. This was it…

You and Mark looked to each other and smiled happily but you couldn’t help but speak up one more time. “Mark….”

“You look tired…. I think you need to get some sleep. Don’t worry… I’ll protect you.”

Love your whole thoughts on ego politics/relationships, do you have any thoughts about dr. Iplier at all? I'm of the opinion he doesn't like Dark very much though I couldn't say why

Ooooo okay I have to admit I haven't thought too hard about his relationship to the other egos before now, but I do have some thoughts on him just like. As a character. So, here's that and mayhaps some social stuff depending on what pops into my head as I type lmao

Okay so like. The one thing I have thought about with him is like. I was thinking about the differences between him and Henrik. And here's the thing, I think Henrik is a real doctor, like went to med school, has or at least at some point had a medical license. I do not think Dr. Iplier is a real doctor. I think that guy is an actor first and foremost, which is why he got hired to Markiplier TV, and then, as the egos are prone to do, they got into fights or got into trouble and everyone just kind of looked at his doctor bit and went 'yeah, this is the guy I should go to' and so he just was forced to learn how to be a doctor on the spot because everyone around him just kept getting fucking hurt and coming to him. I think he kept being like 'you guys know I'm not a real doctor right?' Meanwhile he was slowly learning how to be a real doctor just through practical experience. So now everyone is just like, 'Oh, Dr. Iplier? No, he's not a real doctor, that's just his gimmick' but then every time someone gets hurt they come to him anyways bc at this point he's so experienced he may as well have gone to med school. It confuses newbies so fucking much.

I think Henrik finds it so fucking annoying. He gets up on his high horse about his degree and his license and the law and blah blah blah meanwhile Dr. Iplier is like, 'yeah, that's cool and all, but can we please focus on the issue at hand.' Trying to deal with his stupid friends' even stupider injuries.

I think he's like a tired dad around the office when the others are doing stupid shit. Like following around Ed, Bim, and Wilford desperately trying to get Ed and Bim not to beat the shit out of eachother for the third time this month while Wilford half intentionally fans the flames of whatever fucking argument they're having that week.

I think the doctor stuff maybe weighs on him a little bit, especially when things get more serious, because obviously it is not what he came here to do or what he was hired to do, but somehow it has become a large part of his job. A side effect of this is that he gets like overly hyped anytime he is actually doing performance stuff for the network. Like you can tell when he's filming it's the highlight of his week.

Another side affect of his particular position in the office i think is that he's almost just as skilled in tech stuff as he is with repairing people, because he's probably also ended up regularly taking care of Bing and Google about as much as any of the people in the office. I feel like when Google and Bing are both busy and there's tech problems around the office people come to him and he'll fix it like quickly and flawlessly and the entire time he's grumbling under his breath about how this isn't a part of his fucking job description.

I do like your idea about him and Dark, though i definitely see some complexities there. Like. Okay, obviously Dark isn't really in Markiplier TV for the entertainment aspect. He's there because it keeps Wilford busy and happy and it funds his revenge plots. Also obviously, I think Dark's shit with Mark is like a blatant disruption of the actual work of Markiplier TV. Like. It not infrequently disrupts production, Dark regularly involves others around the studio in his plots, sometimes it puts others in danger. I think because Dr. Iplier is probably the one who often has to deal with the aftermath of Dark's failed revenge there's probably a bit of resentment that builds up from that, especially watching his friends around the office get hurt for some revenge they don't have a personal stake in. But I think there's also a certain amount of understanding/sympathy/pity/whatever that he feels for Dark. Bc. Y’know. Whether he likes it or not he's a doctor. And he's probably had to fix up Dark more than a few times. He's bound to notice the various things. Wrong. With Dark's body. He might not know the exact story behind Dark or his revenge plots, but he knows that something deeply terrible led to all this.

Anyways, this isn't anything revolutionary because I actually remember people shipping them back in the day, and while I wouldn't go that far, I definitely think him and The Host get along. Like I think once he started getting into the medical shit he finally started like paying attention to everyone around the office more and he kind of noticed the fact that the Host was just kind of dealing with all of the shit with his eyes or lack thereof on his own and one day was just kind of like, 'hey, dude, do you want help with that?' And so now he's the one who changes out the Host's bandages and helps him with upkeep and such. I think it was a probably a bit awkward at first, but they got to talking eventually and now the Host is like his one emotional confidant around the office. Like the Host was just happy to have some help with his shit so when he noticed Dr. Iplier's frustrations with his job, and with Dark, and with everyone else's reckless behavior, he decided to return the favor by encouraging him to open up a bit. Now they're like besties <3 I think they kind of bring out the best in eachother. Probably the two most frequent voices of reason around the office, though that isn't to say they don't both engage in the mischief every once in awhile
