WTF ?!

Rhaenyra had no choice but to marry Laenor ! Viserys vetoed this in episode 4 ! It was an arranged marriage that was imposed on her !

Did this person even watch the show ?! Or rather as she likes to say, did she watch the show with her eyes closed ?!

They were forced to marry, but the agreement was made that once their duty was done, namely to provide an heir to the kingdom, they could sexually do whatever they wanted !

Unfortunately, they tried to have children, but were unsuccessful. So Rhaenyra turned to Harwin for agreement with Laenor.

That's what happened.

My god, the Green stans are pathetic, on top of being disgusting.

Haters open the book only when it comes for Eustace's nonsense. He is the one who crowned Aegon, he is a green supporter, he writes how Rhaenyra cut herself on the iron throne while wearing armor. My first impression about Alicent!show is that the writers are using her to mask the Greens true nature. Because by making her a victim and at the same time pushing her as the poster girl of the Greens, they can justify them and make look what the Green men (who are making plot go forth) less guilty.

Also, if I was not rolling my eyes about the changes in Alicent character (i like book alicent) I would clap at the demonstration of victimhood as a weapon they are doing without wanting it.

Well, at least that is my first thought.

Can someone fill me in?

What is this that I am hearing from greenies about HOTD possibly keeping Jaehaera alive and married to Aegon III and have Viserys II marry Daenaera Velaryon instead?

What about Larra Rogare, the actual wife of Viserys II? Not to mention that Viserys doesn’t show up until many years after his brother is crowned king.

Are they that desperate to keep the green bloodline in the line of succession that they sprout these tales?

Sorry darlings, but that bloodline is gone. And it never should have existed in the first place, that’s why GRRM wiped it out.

Jaehaera will be replaced with Daenaera Velaryon and there is nothing you can do about it. Just because the writers take certain liberties which could make sense, doesn’t mean that they are going to change the whole line of succession just so your greenie feelings don’t get hurt.

The greens were always gonna green. Rhaenyra’s children being bastards has nothing to do with it. Greens want power. They want the throne. Most importantly, they want Daemon as far away from the Iron Throne as possible. They legitimately cannot stand Daemon because Daemon is the only one who sees their ambition.

Just accept it, the greens usurped Rhaenyra because she is a woman and they also wanted power for themselves. It didn’t matter how they were gonna get it.
