My updated rankings/reviews of all the k dramas I have seen so far (up to 54 now). I would recommend any show I gave a C grade or higher, which is most of them. I bolded recently added shows.
1. Hometown Cha Cha Cha: An absolute masterpiece. It’s a heartwarming fish out of water story about a big city girl who finds herself in the quirkiest little seaside town. I wanted to stay in Gongjin forever. Grade: A+(Netflix)
2. Extraordinary Attorney Woo (S1): Delightful! Never have I ever rooted for a lead harder. She is the most endearing lead you will ever find. And the male lead is so so swoony. Grade: A+(Netflix)
3. Alchemy of Souls: The wildest of rides and the perfect blend of fantasy, adventure, mystery, comedy, and romance. The characters are just so lovable, you’ll never want it to end. Season 2 just as good as Season 1. Grade: A+ (Netflix)
4. Love To Hate You: New fastest binge of my life. 10 episodes and I didn’t fast forward at all. There were no bad/slow parts. Also the funniest KDrama I’ve ever seen. Just watch it. You won’t regret it. Grade A+ (Netflix).
5. My Demon: This show had me utterly enthralled, it was so mysterious and suspenseful and yet incredibly goofy and romantic. My new favorite main couple in all KDrama land. Yes it wasn’t perfect but I enjoyed it so much, it really encapsulated everything I love in a tv show. Grade: A (Netflix)
6. Business Proposal: It’s got every trope you can think of and it does them all to perfection. Plus it’s hilarious. Grade: A (Netflix)
7. Healer: This super romantic action mystery drama will keep you on the edge of your seat. Ji Chang Wook is equal parts sexy and adorable which is a seriously winning combination. Grade A (Viki). One caveat: I was very disappointed by a certain wardrobe decision in episode 3.
8.Her Private Life: Super funny and charming. The romantic leads have incredible chemistry. The premise is so good! Might be the one of the most rewatchable kdramas. Grade: A (Netflix)
9. Castaway Diva: Just utterly heartwarming. An instant classic. Ultimate underdog, redemption, story that teaches us what real love and family is. Also Ki-Ho is the new standard by which all men will be judged. Grade: A (Netflix)
10. Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung: Great strong female lead. Very good messages. Couldn’t stop watching. The most adorable prince I’ve ever seen 💜Cha Eunwoo💜 Grade: A (Netflix)
11. Bad Prosecutor: Absolutely thrilling and hilarious. It’s like a heist, detective, lawyer, action comedy that will keep you wondering who is outsmarting who? Super shocking plot twists. Amazing OST. Stuck the landing with a truly satisfying finale. Grade A (Viki)
12. Sh**ting Stars: Probable the biggest turnaround of any show I’ve seen (The “Africa” part was so problematic). However it turned out to be one of the funniest and swooniest KDramas out there. There are 5 couples and you will cheer for all of them. Grade: A- (Viki)
13. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon: The main couple is absolutely everything! Just fast forward through pretty much every side plot (they are not important) and you’ll love it. Grade: A- (Viki)
14. So I Married the Anti-Fan: It’s campy, fluffy, goodness, with a fierce female lead and a K-pop star enemy/love interest. 2nd fastest binge of my life. Grade: A- (Viki)
15. 100 Days My Prince: An absolute classic period drama romcom. Who knew D.O. could kiss like that? Such a great strong female lead. I LOVE a show with adorable, quirky, townspeople. Grade: A- (Netflix)
16. Romance is a Bonus Book: Might be the most romantic K-Drama I’ve ever seen. Nothing about the trailer or setup intrigued me but I’m so glad I watched it anyway. It was a truly beautiful love story. Grade: A- (Netflix)
17. Because This Is My First Life: This drama really does everything right for me… A slow burn romance built on mutual love and respect. Supporting characters who I genuinely cared about and had incredible side stories of their own. A critique of the patriarchy. Women supporting women. An adorable cat. Maybe a bit melodramatic at times but not too much. Grade A- (Netflix)
18. Start-Up: Exceptional acting, compelling storylines, intriguing plot twists, great cinematography, intense love triangle. It’s just all around high quality. Grade: A- (Netflix)
19. Run On: Cute, fun, silly and pretty light. I especially loved the supporting cast. Strange storyline but it was a fun easy ride. Grade: A- (Netflix)
20. Forbidden Marriage: This is a weird show, but weird in the best way. It’s like a comedy, horror, romance, fictional-historical. I don’t know how to describe it but it’s really fun. B+(Viki)
21. Soundtrack #1: Short and beautiful. I just loved it. No one does heart eyes better than Park Hyung-Sik. Grade: B+(Disney+)
22. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo: A bad-ass yet vulnerable female lead. The main couple just had a lot of fun together. Refreshing. Grade: B+ (Viki)
23. Doctor Slump: This show was a really nice journey of both mental health and romance. Grade: B+ (Netflix)
24. Welcome to Samdalri: Very heartwarming and beautiful story about love, family, friendship, and going home. It has quirky townspeople and Ji Chang Wook 😍 what’s not to love? Grade: B+ (Netflix)
25. My Lovely Liar: Creative and engaging premise, intriguing mystery, and a swoon worthy romance. A very fun viewing experience. Grade: B+ (Viki)
26. King the Land: This drama pretty much has no stakes or conflict and the main couple has THE MOST chemistry I have ever seen in my entire life. So if you just want to turn your brain off and be happy, this is the drama for you. I absolutely loved it. Grade: B+ (Netflix)
27.Law Cafe: This drama has so much to love, a strong/fierce/brilliant and morally righteous female lead, lovable side characters, steamy romance. But what I loved most was how the show spotlighted important issues like consent and abuse in nuanced and progressive ways. Yes it’s a fun rom-com but it felt like the beginning of a new chapter of more egalitarian storytelling which made me really excited for the future of k-dramas. Grade: B+ (Viki)
28. Not Others: A lovely Gilmore Girls type show about the relationship between an immature mother and her very mature adult daughter. It was a pleasure seeing them grow in their relationships with each other, others, and themselves. I want more! Grade B+ (Viki)
29. Cheer Up: Sports, comedy, romance, mystery, suspense, coming of age, this show had everything. The female lead was the lovable, feisty, driven, and brave. The male lead was adorkable, considerate, and sweet. It’s all very enjoyable and wholesome. Grade: B+ (Viki)
30. I Am Not A Robot: Zany premise but it was surprisingly pretty grounded for how crazy the set up was. It’s funny, emotional, good story telling. Great character development. Grade: B+ (Viki)
31. See You in My 19th Life: The shared experience of watching this mystical mystery drama week to week made it a really enjoyable watch. Not sure if it was totally satisfying, or that any of the couples’ chemistry felt authentic, but it was a very interesting and creative storyline. Grade B (Netflix)
32. Summer Strike: This show made me cry a lot. It’s heartbreaking yet healing. I’m still not sure if I liked watching it or not but it was a beautiful story of found family. Grade B (Netflix).
33. Shopping King Louie: Adorable! So many light fluffy feels for this show but it does drag a bit in the second half. Grade B (Viki)
34, Fight For My Way: Such lovable leads. Love the fierce female lead and adorable himbo male lead. It’s like a coming of age story but for 30 year olds. Storyline was ok. Second couple was skippable. Grade: B (Viki)
35. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim: More PSJ is always a good thing. This drama did all the tropes in ways that didn’t always feel fresh, but it was very romantic and hilarious. A true classic. Grade: B (Viki)
36. Touch Your Heart: If you can just stick it out through the first few very shaky episodes, you will enjoy this adorable, fluffy, series. Grade: B- (Netflix)
37. Doom at Your Service: It was sometimes real sad yet ultimately a heart warming mystical story. Grade: B- (Viki)
38. True Beauty: Fun, cute, teen drama however, it’s a little too “antsy teen” for me. Cha Eunwoo though💜 Grade: C+ (Viki)
39. Destined With You: The chemistry between the main couple was absolutely sizzling. Rowoon was both hilarious and next level adorable. However, the plot and the characterization of women occasionally made me very frustrated. Grade: C+ (Netflix).
40. Suspicious Partner: Great story, great characters, attractive actors, beautiful romance, interesting plot, sometimes funny, sometimes suspenseful, but with 40 episodes, the plot was dragged. Grade C+ (Viki)
41. Crash Landing On You: The first half is GREAT but the second half is way too melodramatic for my taste. It’s a very interesting storyline, the main couple has insane chemistry, and there are very lovable side characters. Grade: C+ (Netflix)
42. Secret Romantic Guesthouse: First few episodes were a fun scooby gang mystery, middle episodes were super boring, last 3 episodes were crazy fast paced and thrilling. It ended well- I’ll give it that. Grade: C (Viki)
43. Dear.M: It was inoffensive and decently entertaining. If you like school dramas, you’ll probably enjoy it. Grade: C (Viki).
44. A Good Day To Be A Dog: The storyline is bonkers but very intriguing. It started off so well but the storyline lost its way in the back half. But hey, Cha Eunwoo + dogs, it’s worth the watch. Grade: C (Viki).
45. Angel’s Last Mission: Love: This drama was very similar to Doom At Your Service but it was more a bit more redundant with all of the tragedy and crying. I LOVED the chemistry of the main couple but I found myself fast forwarding a lot. Grade: C- (Viki)
46. Marry My Husband: Episodes 1-11 were phenomenal. Such an interesting premise with shocking twists and turns. After episode 11 it seemed like there were new writers who had never seen the show. Very disappointing but top tier villains. Grade: C-
47. Our Beloved Summer: I LOVED V’s “Christmas Tree” OST however I struggled to keep watching. Boring storyline but great acting. Grade: D+ (Netflix)
48. Heavenly Idol: An absolute hot mess. It was completely convoluted and just low quality but I also weirdly liked it. I can’t bring myself to rank it higher because I know how bad it was but I actually enjoyed it better than many shows I ranked ahead of it. Grade: D+ (Viki)
49. My Secret Romance: The story of a total screw up female lead falling for a manipulative, gaslighting, hottie. It was problematic yet fun? So 🤷‍♀️ Grade: D+ (Netflix)
50. My Man Is Cupid: Pros: many cute dogs, sometimes those dogs wear human clothes, cute ending. Cons: Makes no sense, not much chemistry, murder plot takes up too much time. Grade D+ (Prime).
51. She Would Never Know: As handsome as Rowoon is, I found his character problematic at the beginning (no means no buddy) but he did get a lot better as the show went on. I just ended up skipping to watch just the scenes with the main couple, which made the show way more enjoyable. Grade D (Netflix)
52. My Love From the Star: I found myself fast forwarding a lot through all the parts that didn’t involve the main couple and most of the flashbacks. Grade D (Viki)
53. Goblin: The age gap is too disturbing for me, like call the police disturbing. However, the Grim Reaper who is one of the most adorable characters I’ve ever seen. Grade: D- (Viki)
54. Extra-Ordinary You: I have never felt so betrayed by a second half of a series as I did in this one. All of the character development that it seemed to be leading to was replaced by a pretty sickening codependent relationship. Grade: D- (Viki).
Currently Watching: Wedding Impossible (I think I like it)
Dramas I’m Thinking About Watching: Gaus Electronics, Bad and Crazy, Hospital Playlist, Another Miss Oh, Oh My Venus, My Roommate is Gumiho, She Was Pretty, Crash Course in Romance, Soundtrack #2, Queen of Tears
Dramas I just couldn’t Finish (I’m sorry I tried): Today’s Webtoon, Once Upon a Small Town, Love in Contract, Hotel Del Luna, Kings Affection, Record of Youth, Behind Your Touch, Sparkling Watermelon, Tale of Nine Tailed 1938, Strong Girl Nam Soon, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract
What are your thoughts on these shows? Do you agree or disagree with my rankings? Any k-romcom recommendations that are not on the list yet?

K-Dramas For A Rainy Day
I don’t know, it’s raining where I live and I just wanted to make a list of K-Dramas that either have rain scenes I like or that I would want to watch on a rainy day.
This obviously isn’t going to be a comprehensive list of every K-Drama I’ve seen with rain scenes or anything. Honestly, K-Dramas and rain seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. You could probably watch whatever K-Drama you want to and find a rain scene.
For me, rainy days elicit a feeling of wanting to be cozy, warm and dry while nursing a hot cup of apple cider or hot chocolate. So most of these shows (unsurprisingly) are also on my Comfort K-Drama List.
Doom At Your Service
Honestly, this drama has such an iconic (in my opinion) rain kiss scene. On top of that, I love the whole “running through the rain” thing.
Tumblr media
W: Two Worlds Apart
There’s a fair number of rain scenes in this show. I’ll be honest though, even if this drama didn’t have any rain scenes, I’d watch this on a rainy day since it’s a comfort show.
Look, I never said this list wasn’t going to be biased. I said that this list was going to be shows that I would watch on a rainy day.
Tumblr media
Extra-Ordinary You
It’s fluffy, it’s cute, there’s that scene where Eun Dan Oh ran through the rain in her hospital gown to find Haru.
Even if I’m remembering the scene wrong and it wasn’t raining, I’d still have this drama on this list.
Tumblr media
Romance Is A Bonus Book
Again, I never said this list wasn’t going to be biased. Seriously though, the vibes alone are enough to make it on this list. This show just gives me the feeling of being wrapped up all warm and cozy in a blanket by a window sill while it’s raining and reading my favorite book as I sip some hot chocolate.
This show has got fluff, rainy day scenes, one of my biases, books, snowy day scenes (the kind of weather I wish I could get where I live), one of my favorite tropes (friends to lovers), one of my biases…
Tumblr media
Angel’s Last Mission: Love
You’ve got rain scenes, a cute angel, some of my favorite tropes (surprisingly), ballet (if you’re into that). Rain is actually a pretty important to the plot of this show as it causes Angel Dan’s wings to appear.
Tumblr media
Goblin: The Lonely and Great God
This show has plenty of rain scenes as the Goblin, Kim Shin, has an affect on the weather depending on his mood. Whenever he’s sad, it will rain.
That being said, not all of the rain scenes in this show happen because he’s sad.
Tumblr media
Splash Splash Love
No rainy day list for K-Dramas would be complete without this short, cute drama.
The entire 2 episode show revolves around rain. The plot is literally about a girl escaping her problems by jumping into a puddle on a rainy day and only being to get back home via the same method.
Tumblr media
Business Proposal
Rain is also an important aspect of this Netflix show as well as Shin Ha Ri finds rainy days to be romantic, while Kang Tae Moo is actually traumatized by rain and suffers from panic attacks(?) whenever he’s in the rain.
Tumblr media
Shopping King Louie/Shopaholic Louis
Another cozy, fluffy K-Drama that’s one of my confort dramas. There’s plenty of rain scenes, including some which lead to some sick-comfort scenes as the female lead, Go Bok-shil gets sick whenever there’s a thunderstorm at night.
Tumblr media
Abyss
This K-Drama is on Netflix and it has a few rainy day scenes, including one very life altering rainy night for the female lead as she happens to get murdered (but don’t worry, she’s very much alive and well and rocking a new body that matches her soul!)
While You Were Sleeping
I feel like this list is somehow calling me out because there’s like…3 shows on here with Lee Jong Suk. I mean, the list has my other biases on here at least once or twice.
Anyway, this drama has all sorts of weather from rain to snow, but there’s a very particular rainy day that is an important plot point as one of the female lead’s premonition dreams is about her dying on a rainy day.
Tumblr media
Café Minamdang
Some people didn’t like this show, I personally thoroughly enjoyed it. I only gave it a chance because of Seo In Guk and was not disappointed.
There’s a really awesome fight in the rain scene in the last episode that is basically the original reason why it’s on my list.

Currently thinking of an Angel AU where Sanji is one of Cupid's angels for the past 800 years. He makes people fall in love. And for angels of love to ascend, reincarnate or reborn they're given specific clients that he needs to fall in love.
But he has a problem. A mold problem. He only has one client left that he needs to fall in love. And it's the lone wandering swordsman with an odd memorable green hair. And no matter what Sanji does. No matter who he matches the swordsman with as every new lifetime pass, the man just never falls.
And so, as Sanji begrudgingly stands on the swordsman's grave alone, he swore that on the man's next life (11th) he will make him fall in love by hook or by crook.
#sanji#roronoa zoro#vinsmoke sanji#zoro x sanji#one piece#zosan#black leg sanji#this is slight angst yall#sanji gave up concealing himself and showed up in front of zoro in the 11th life#his last resort was to annoy zoro to death about opening up and falling in love#zoro still finds love stupid#but falls i love with sanji anyways#sanji doesn't know because angels doesn't “fall”#zoro doesn't want to admit it because he knows once he does sanji will disappear/be gone. his mission will be over.#so he tries so hard to keep his feelings and he knows its impossible. crazy even to love someone that's transcendental#because he had been following Zoro's soul for the longest time he knows he was hiding something but can't make up what it is#zoro thinks all is well until sanji had been weakening. they didn't know why. until they went to an oracle that told sanji had sinned#his wings had started to shed and he grows weaker and weaker. Sanji's sin was Zoro fell in love him and sanji was starting to love him back#to save sanji. zoro was willing to rip & offer his heart up. but doing would remove his feelings but also he can never feel love#or fall in love ever again. zoro says its okay. he didn't want to fall in love with someone that isn't sanji#sanji still doesn't want to bc its the first time zoro felt love in centuries he'd known him. he didn't want to take it away from him.#sanji “dies” but since he was able to make zoro fall in love he passed his rebirth. cupid was moved by their love#so sanji was reborn in the current lifetime with his memories with zoro intact. they met each other after 2 years he “died”#they reunited. zoro met the strawhats during the 2 years.#the end#omg that was pretty long

Note
wanna ask for any recommendations for dramas (country no matter) where a deity/god/angel/demon/higher power of some sort (not fairytale beings like mermaids) falls in love with a human. like doom at your service or bride of habaek. higher power doesn't have to be ML but preferably so
Oooh I love when a god/deity falls in love with a human!
K-Dramas where a God/Diety/Angel Falls for a human:
Hwayugi/ Korean Odyssey: A monkey god falls in love with a human who can see spirits. It's got a great enemies to lovers plot and the side characters are great! While not perfect, it's very funny and also has amazing romance.
Angel's Last Mission: Love: I'm a sucker for this romance about a blind ballet dancer and an angel that fall in love. Shin Hye Sun is everything in this drama (fun fact: registration for ballet classes went up while this was airing). Also L is very sweet and you'll totally root for them (even if it gets a little wonky toward the end)
Tumblr media
My Love From The Stars: This super popular romance about an Alien that falls for a human isn't exactly a deity but his abilities are basically the same and it feels like the same dynamic.
Goblin: One of the most popular k-dramas of all time, this romance between a god and a human is iconic. Perfect? NOPE. Did I watch it 3 times? YUP!
Hotel Del Luna: This fantasy drama is about a 1300 year old owner of a guest house running a hotel for departed souls on their way to the afterlife. I was not into this drama as much as everyone else (I didn't ship the ship!) but it is very beautiful!
Kiss Goblin: A short web drama about a goblin who wants to become human. Silly and sweet, featuring my web drama bb In Hyuk before he got major roles!
Do Gumiho's count? They are nine tailed fox spirits so if they do...
My Roommate Is a Gumiho: Super cute rom com about a gumiho and a college student living together. I LOVED the second couple so much in this!
Tumblr media
Tale of the Nine Tailed: features gumiho (s) or nine tailed foxes that fall for a human. If you liked it, there's a season two, tho the romance IS with a mermaid so it's not specifically what you're asking for.
My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho: While very popular, I'll admit I haven't watched this yet! I just know it's a rom com with Lee Seungi
And of course Doom at your Service, and Bride of Haebak (which I do not recommend lol!)
Enjoy anon!

My Favorite Fantasy/Sci-fi Rom-Com K-Dramas
One of my best friends was upset about the fact that I didn’t make a list for fantasy and sci-fi K-Dramas when I told her I made my previous list, so here I am making the list I promised I was going to be making anyway lol
This list will be easier for me because fantasy k-dramas are my bread and butter, especially fantasy rom-coms. 🍞 🧈
As always, this list will be made in no specific order as I tend to refrain from ranking things or rating them.
W: Two Worlds (aka W)
Obviously, this show was going to come in somewhere on this list. So, I might as well get it out of the way and make it the first thing on this list lol
This show is about a 2nd year cardiothoracic resident doctor named Oh Yeon Joo who happens to be the daughter of a famous comic book creator. Her father goes missing one day mysteriously and on that day, while looking for him, she ends up being pulled into the world of his comic book and saving the main character, Kang Cheol, who she finds bloody and dying. Afterwards, she finds herself being pulled back into the comic book randomly, her fate being intertwined with that of the main character.
I adore this drama and I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever be able to stop wanting to re-watch it. I will admit that it’s not perfect, but gosh do I love the plot and the actors. This show is really “whumpy” from what I’ve seen based on whump lists that I have come across, so if you’re into whump, I definitely recommend this! If you’re not, I still recommend this for the cute, soft moments between the leads as well as the comedy! ❤️
Tumblr media
Doom At Your Service
I personally love this drama, even though it’s definitely not perfect and I will never lie or pretend that it is perfect.
This drama is only the 12th drama that I have seen and it happens to be the one that introduced me to Seo In Guk. Honestly, he and Park Bo-young really carried the show (although I also loved Dawon from SF9 in this as Tak Dong Kyung's little brother).
This show is about Tak Dong Kyung, a webcomic editor who discovers that she has a terminal brain tumor on the same day that she also happens to discover that her boyfriend is actually an adulterer. One night, she ends up frustrated and wanting to put an end to her misery and drunkenly shouts up to the night sky that she wishes for doom to befall the world. This cry ends up summoning Myul Mang, doom incarnate. They enter into a contract in which he will grant her one wish and also prevent her from feeling the pain/negative symptoms of her brain tumor, in return she must wish for doom to befall the world - or else the person that she loves most will die.
Honestly, I adore this show, but I will not deny that the 2nd lead female’s love triangle is…boring. At least to me. It’s just so boring that it’s skip-able without impacting the show at all. I will continue to recommend this show though because the leads really brought their A game to this and it’s why I watch it.
Tumblr media
Extra-Ordinary You
Another entry on this list that won't come as a surprise to anyone as I love this show and it's been on a few of my lists already.
This show is about Eun Dan Oh, a high schooler with a heart condition, who discovers that she's a character in a high school romance manwha - an extra to be more precise. She is determined to change her fate though and after a chance meeting with a mysterious boy who is a no-name extra, she thinks that he is the one will be able to help her do just that.
This show is funny, charming and has adorable fluff. Though it may seem like a just your typical high school romance, it's is far from ordinary - it's extra-ordinary. badum-tiss
Bad joke aside, this drama is really good and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who has seen W and wanted something kinda similar (self-aware comic book characters wanting to change their fate) but significantly fluffier and less whumpy/has next to no whump.
Tumblr media
My Roommate Is A Gumiho
Probably not all that surprising that I'm adding this show to my list as well. I really love this drama. ♥
This show is about Lee Dam, a university student who is majoring in history and a 999 year old male gumiho named Shin Woo Yeo who has held many jobs over the course of time but is currently working as an author of history books. Lee Dam accidentally ends up being in possession of his fox bead/marble and due to this they enter into a forced living situation which involves a contract.
This show has a little whump/hurt-comfort in it, but there’s also plenty of humor as well as romantic fluff.
Tumblr media
Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (aka Goblin)
I’m starting off with what I think has become a classic? Will I swear by that? No. I’ve only been in this game a year so far lol
This drama tends to be highly recommended by many and with good reason in my opinion! This show has such a great plot, the relationships between all the characters is wonderful and overall it's a very well-done show!
This drama is about a man named Kim Shin who was a decorated military general who was betrayed by his king, he is forced to witness his family be killed and is then murdered himself. Except he doesn't really die, he is transformed into an immortal goblin. He wanders through the years in search of prophesized "goblin's bride" who is the only one with the ability to remove his sword from his chest and set his soul free. 19 years ago, he happens to save a pregnant woman from a life-threatening accident and as a result her child is able to see and talk to ghosts, but because she was never supposed to be born, she has to hide from a grim reaper - who just so happens to now be the Goblin's roommate.
Tumblr media
While You Were Sleeping
Another Lee Jong Suk drama making it’s way onto my list.
This drama is about Nam Hong Joo, a field reporter who, ever since she was a child, has had premonition dreams that always come true. These are typically always bad events and she is often powerless to prevent them from happening. One day, prosecutor named Jung Jae Chan moves in across the street from Nam Hong Joo and has also acquired the same ability as her. After saving her from a car accident that would have ruined her life and killed a police officer, the police officer also starts having premonition dreams. The three of them discover that their lives are, for some reason, intertwined through the dreams that they have of each other. Together, the three of them work together to discover why they have these abilities as well as protect those that they love.
This drama is honestly really amazing and absolutely hilarious. The only reason that I don't re-watch this as much as I do other shows is because it makes me laugh too loud.
Tumblr media
Angel’s Last Mission: Love
This drama is a new favorite, having only just recently finished watching it a few weeks ago.
This drama is about an angel named Kim Dan who is given one last mission before being able to go to paradise - he must help an blind cold-hearted and cynical ex-ballerina find and fall in love.
I found this drama to be cute and funny and I really enjoyed it! It honestly surprised me by having some of my favorite tropes in it (but I can't reveal which as they would be spoilers if you haven't seen the show).
Tumblr media
Abyss
This K-Drama is the third K-Drama that I had watched, right on the heels of Hotel Del Luna.
This drama is about Cha Min, an unattractive but rich chaebol heir to a cosmetics company, who dies accidentally and is revived by aliens using an object known as Abyss, which is then given to him. Strangely, he is not revived in his own body and instead takes on the form of his soul, which is tall and attractive. Go Se Yeon is a beautiful prosecution lawyer and a friend of Cha Min's (as well as a long-time crush). She ends up dying too, having been murdered in her apartment, Cha Min uses Abyss to bring her back. She is revived in a "plainer" looking body to match her soul. Together, they work to try to figure out who murdered her.
This is the drama that introduced me to both Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seop, this is also the first K-Drama that I ever re-watched multiple times. I really loved the lead character's romance and I also really loved the OST for the show as well.

I Am Not A Robot
This is a cute drama that’s more on the sci-fi side of things.
This drama is about a man who is a chaebol with an allergy to humans, which makes it hard for him to interact with others and basically without many friends. He happens to acquire a company which has a subsidiary(?) or a project in which work is being made to create the perfect robot AI companion. He goes to their facility and meets the robot, as a result, he wants to test it out at home and since the scientists need money to keep the project going, they agree. Unfortunately, the Aji3 runs into some problems and the lead scientist must ask his ex-girlfriend who he modeled the robot after to fill in and pretend to be the robot.
I found this drama to be quite funny, cute, and charming. I’d definitely recommend it if you like something with a more sci-fi spin.

Hotel Del Luna
I almost didn't include this drama on this list because it made me cry so much. I'm not going to lie, I was an emotional wreck for the rest of the day after I finished watching the show. However, this drama is the 2nd drama that I ever watched and while it could be slow, it was so amazing compared to the first K-Drama that I had watched that I was just...enthralled by it. So for purely sentimental reasons, this is a favorite of mine lol
This show is about Jang Man Wol, the owner/CEO of a special hotel that caters almost exclusively to ghosts, with the aim of helping them resolve their unresolved problems/goals/etc. so that they can move on to the next stage of the afterlife. Man Wol herself is neither ghost nor human and is cursed for a sin that she has no memory of, she is tied to the hotel and unable to escape it. She believes her only hope is to find someone with a worse sin than hers who can replace her, but hasn’t found anyone over the centuries and has since given up hope. When she hires Goo Chan Sung as her latest hotel manager, things start to change at the hotel and with her.
I found this drama to be really interesting and while it could be slow in places, I really do love this drama. I really came to care about all of the main cast of characters, which is one of the reasons why I cried so much at the end of the show. I definitely recommend this show if you love dramas with ghosts, but definitely have plenty of tissues on hand for the end!
