You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).

Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

while im at it neopronoun opposition is weird to me as a swedish person.. the whole debate is so anglocentric that they assume every language landed on the same solution they did, to reuse a plural pronoun as a gender neutral one and then they think any other solution is absurd or unheard of. what do you mean you just made another pronoun up you cant do that!! etc

coz its like here in the 2014 the swedish academy accepted 3rd person pronoun "hen" (as opposed to hon/han) like officially into our word list after it gained some popularity in the 2010s. like that is a NEOPRONOUN that someone just Came Up With in like the 60s and then people just started using it and now its just a recognized part of our language. sure we could've also reused our plural pronoun "de/dem" as a gender neutral one but we just made up a new one instead. and to like imply that mainstream use of a neopronoun is just UNHEARD OF and that neopronouns is something the mainstream could NEVER GET USED TO EVER!!! is... your perspective is very limited to the english speaking world is all i can say

In wake of the stupid shitshow that is this dumb coronation, I saw someone going 'oh protests are illegal in the UK? Ireland we've got to get you out of there' and I've seen a lot of other stuff to that effect of 'oh poor Wales', or 'get out of there Scotland' (from people outside the UK) and like!!! people in England are also suffering this impacts people in England!

I agree and fully support all kinds of independence for the other countries in this shitshow of a nation- do not twist my words with this one, I support independence, and when I see folks from those countries only talking about this, obviously I support them because their primary concern is independence.

But!! It's fucking infuriating to see people from outside the UK acting like the other countries just have to get out of the UK and then no more innocent people will suffer, as if that's the only problem, as if there aren't plenty of people in England who don't deserve this nonsense either

BYYYYY THE WAY AGAIN. I love love LOVE and adore evil Sun's use of "you're a dead one" bc it feels like SO MUCH TO UNPACK.

It could mean Sun believes Moon to be a non-threat because he knows this means he isn't effected by the kill code anymore. It could mean that Sun has deemed him unworthy of his time because he isn't the original Moon. It could mean that Sun can target him in the future because he knows that means it'll probably be easier to get under his skin.

It also just has this inherent vibe of like... idk, being a walking corpse almost???? Like, the sort of vibe of "the old Moon used to live in this body but he's dead now and I'm here in his place." It felt like Sun viewed the Moon in front of as a grave for what used to be rather than what is there now and that, in itself, says a lot about him methinks.

Like idk if any of this makes sense but it is so fascinating to me. If a perfectly functioning Moon qualifies as a "dead one" to him, who else goes under the same category? Does he view his own Moon as a dead one? Does just wrap any Moon that isn't the "first" Moon into that category? Is this a common category?? Can other people go under the same title or is it something he made only for Moons? WHAT DOES IT MEAN BOY...... AAUAGARRAA IT'S SO COOL IDK. CHEWS ON HIS METAL ARMS

Mountain always feeling like he was broken due to his asexuality. especially considering hes meant to be a lust filled demon just like every other ghoul hes known. just feeling so out of place with his packmates, scared they'd find out he was damaged. imperfect. so he keeps his distance, both physically and emotionally. when hes forced to step out of the greenhouse and interact with his fellow ghouls, he keeps conversation surface level. he's polite but oh so distant. Mountain's a quiet ghoul by nature but he makes himself go days without speaking to anyone. but he tells himself its for the best. if they got too close they would see the dropped stitches and splintered edges of his being. that doesnt mean he's free of yearning though. his soul still craves for closeness from his pack. especially from one particular ghoul. Dewdrop. the most beautiful being Mountain had ever laid eyes on, with hair like a silver waterfall and a soul that sung like a siren, luring him in closer, breaking down his boundaries and convincing him that he was safe. he found himself smiling at the water ghoul's words, laughing, even. he started doing more work by the edge of the lake, any excuse to be closer to the ghoul with the eyes of ice that somehow warmed his heart whenever they looked his way. Mountain eventually allowed himself the closeness which he had denied for so long, not just with Dew but the rest of the pack too. but he cant deny he felt the closest to Dew. and it was Dew who was the first ghoul to look deep into his eyes and tell him that he was not broken. there was nothing broken about him. Mountain had accepted that Dew would never love him unless he put his own feelings and needs aside even if the thought made his skin crawl and his eyes water. Dew had been there to reassure him that he didnt have to do anything he didnt want to do. that he loves him. that he didnt and shouldnt think any less of him. that hes perfect just the way he is. and Mountain cries. he sits in Dew's lap and cries as he finally begins to come to terms with and accept himself, he finds the flowers that had bloomed in spaces he thought were empty inside. Dew tells him that hes beautiful. Mountain might just believe it.

Fun fact about my time watching rtte: In the episode where it’s revealed that Dagur and Heather are siblings there is a moment where Hiccup thinks she might be his sister.

I paused it then, wandered around the house in a daze, to me it made a lot of sense, but of course, I forgot to think about the fact that Hiccup was clearly an only child in httyd 2 and it wouldn’t make sense to introduce Heather as his sister in the series, but yeah, I spent about an hour in a weird headspace, went back to my laptop awaiting Stoick’s explanation….

Cue Dagur actually being her brother and Ane dying inside.

You know, while Salem has had really strong villain moments, she really does continue the rwby issue of villains not feeling as they honestly should. And the issue as always has to do with her inner circle. They tell us Salem has been around since back when magic properly existed in remnant. That she's become horrific and immortal and experiments with humans and Grimm, but truthfully the hound being a more recent abomination just makes it feel like her timeline is much shorter than it should've been.

She should have an inner circle full of people like Cinder and the hound, sure we can still have those that are fully mortal and were offered something they so desperately wanted that they joined her, but she should've had loyalists who were corrupted by Grimm experimentation and made into beasts.

Tyrion 1000% should've been one of these with how much of a fanatic he is towards her, even going so far as to consider the action a "blessing". It could add more tension between him and Cinder when she gets her arm because despite her failure he sees her as being rewarded when obliteration or torment would've been his choice for her failing Salem.

You could start introducing monsters from myths and fairy tales who had been created by Salem. Vampires, demons, sirens, harpies. Various other creatures who wouldn't appear at the start but become far more common as salem's power grows and the group gets closer to her. Creatures that are more cunning than regular Grimm but still inhuman enough to give us horrific visuals and fit in with the Grimm they originated from.

Her threat is world wide, her subordinates should be numerous. Her experimentation should've started centuries ago making it so that now her creations are far more advanced, enough so that they can come to view her as a God in her own right. It could even be that tyrion is a descendant of one of these experiments leading to a stronger reasoning for his unhinged fanaticism and desperation for her to approve of him.

As for the humans/faunus of her circle, that would be a much more recent addition. It could be that for a long time she didn't believe men could be trusted without a little bit of intervention, but her studying of them and their habits let her to believe there was a chance that with the right strings she could predict them far better.
