he’s very iffy about affection, especially from you

he doesnt want you thinking he doesnt have rock hard abs all the goddamn time

but that’s pretty much inevitable, considering youre a cuddle bug and he cant say no to you

he cuddles with you all the time, but will absolutely not even hold your hand in public

JOHN BENDER//the criminal

john is not into it

the sore spots of his body are often your favorite to cuddle, which leaves him to despise cuddling at night

he tells you its because he overheats at night, because he feels bad turning down your affection

but he does give you the occasional hug, and tons of kisses

CLAIRE STANDISH//the princess

claire is pretty iffy, because she’s never ever been the big spoon

you tell her you dont mind being the big spoon, but she still hates knowing you might, in some impossible universe, be mad at her for not wanting to be the big spoon

claire takes things slow. so if you even think about touching her ass, or chest, or thighs, she’s out.

ALLY REYNOLDS//the basket case

ally doesnt cuddle.

she likes being held, but she doesnt cuddle

she cant stand the feeling of being so loved

she feels like she doesnt deserve all the affection you give her, so she avoids it

and that breaks your heart, but you know theres nothing you can do to help her except take it slow

what does it mean to have daddy issues?

that was his first question

you tried to explain it to him, describing the absence of a father figure or a troublesome relationship with said father, and thus personality traits that had been inherited from that

brain didn’t really get it, but he tried his best to understand for the sake of being there to support you

he tried to do research on it, but didn’t get far, because it’s the 80s. 

but he learned from you, and tried to understand. he did his best, and sometimes made mistakes, but overall tried his best to be there for you

ANDY CLARK//the jock

when you explained it to him, andy understood immediately 

he told you that he has the same thing, though he didn’t totally understand the term for it

trust issues, uncontrollable outlashes, easily influenced anger, etc.

he sympathized with you, as you did him

you were both there for eachother during hard times, but especially when it came to daddy issues because you both understood the struggle

JOHN BENDER//the criminal

john called you an idiot

he said it wasn’t anything special, no one truly likes their parents

you tried to explain to him that, no, its not just that. 

its so much more than that. bender’s daddy issues were apparent, but he didnt believe a word coming out of your mouth

he tolerated you talking about it, but he got agitated when you did

claire was understanding, though she didnt understand

she thought you meant issues with your parents, like you didnt like them

you explained to her that, no, it was deeper than that

and she nodded, rubbed your back, and smiled. 

“you don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to. but i would appreciate if you explained it to me. just for future reference, yknow?”

ally didnt say anything

you worried a little bit, sitting on your bed next to her. she wouldnt look up from her hands

“sorry.” she murmured, rubbing her eyes with the bear paws of her coat. 

she was very sensitive about the information

she found it difficult to talk about, and preferred that there was consent granted before anyone talked about it

she often had issues with it herself, and cried to you. and you did the same thing to her. you both supported eachother, regardless of whether or not you broke up in the future
