Ray would be overwhelmed. He's not against it. He would never be against receiving affection from you. The only thing you need to focus on is the fact that he doesn't know how to receive affection. It's definitely strange to be on the receiving end because he always imagined himself to be somebody who would need to fight to get love in any capacity.

The fact that you give it so freely floors him. What's he supposed to do in that situation? He's not going to tell you no because this is everything he's ever dreamed of. But, he's going to gawk at you for a little while with a silly little look on his face until he's able to process that you really do want him as much as he wants you and this kind of affection is just proof of that.

GE Saeran would never turn you away when you come to him filled with love and affection. That's his lucky day. The two of you do not know how to let go of each other and that is canonically proven. You are always doing something mushy, gushy, and sappy. It's normal for the two of you to express yourselves in a way where you don't show any embarrassment or shame at being with the person you love more than anything in this world.

So, frankly, if you do this, he's just going to return everything you have to give him 10 fold. He's happy to be with you. Just to be prepared the more cuddly you get, the more likely he is to try and overwhelm you with his adoration. He likes it when you get flustered. It's not as easy when you're enthralled by him but hey, it's a fun little game.

By far the weirdest common Superman criticism I see is "Lois Lane doesn't (andnever had) personality/character". Like, I'm NOT shocked anyone can dislike Lois, she fucking rules, but I ain't baffled by it. Even when it's just straight up sexism (and I don't treat disliking her as that by default), I'm not confused-people are sexist, nothing new. But that just seems... Objectively wrong, however hyperbolically it's meant to be taken? Like, not even a value judgement, you can think she's an asshole or whatever, but just as a neutral description, she does and always has. In fact, her having an obvious character and dynamic with the hero, is what made her stand out back in the day, and is the reason she's in the movies, but Batman ain't dating Julie Madison in his.

That criticism is idiotic and nobody who has ever watched/read/played anything with Lois in it can truly believe that, her personality is well-defined and is the template for scores of other superhero love interests.
