I have a hard time believing that AFO loves Izuku and Inko more than anything if DFO is canon, because if he did then why leave to fight All Might? He knew ahead of time that All Might was getting closer to him, so why didn't he decide to run away with his family to somewhere better and just give up his criminal empire? He could've done it if he tried, but he didn't he just went and faced him.

I already answered a similar ask once, so here is a link about my "afo loves his family" meta. Warning its pretty long. 😅

About why afo didnt took inko and izuku with him. Well, first we dont know yet if all might was the reason he left (maybe he left because his love for inko and izuku was starting to affect him in archieving his dreams, because he lost interest in his goals) and second we dont know WHEN exactly afo left. Was it pre potatohead or after? Because if afo left AFTER the head injury it makes perfectly sense why he wouldnt take his family with him, right? What was he going to tell inko how he got the head injury? And if not, maybe afo believed hiding them in plain sight from the heroes was a better move. No hero in his right mind, would guess that japans nr 1 super villain would hide his family so near to ua, the heart of japans hero society. We just dont know yet WHEN afo left. Was izuku still a toddler, was it before or after izuku was declared quirkless? We dont know!

What we DO KNOW is that afo tried to FLEE in his fight with all might and that izuku was around 9 years old at that point. In this fight afo gave all might his terrible stomach injury, but instead of finishing him or lets say keeping him barely alive to obtain ofa, afo tried to RUN AWAY! He almost killed all might but DIDNT keep fighting and instead tried to get away while all might just lost half of his stomach. It was all might who managed to follow afo despite his terrible state and punched his face off. Also there is something very interesting going on here:

You can see that afo is not wearing his usuall black suit and pants. He wears casuall clothes. A (most likely) white shirt and pants with a light colour. He was in civil clothes. Include the fact that afo was trying to flee and was obviously in some kind of panic. He was cut off guard by all might showing up. So my guess is that at that time afo was either with his family, or at least near them (lets say he was on his way home) and all mights attack surprised him, so he took his feed in his hands and lured all might away from their home (interestingly afo did exactly the same thing in kamino, by luring all might away from the kids hiding behind the wall just a few meters away from them). About the part why afo doesnt give up his empire for them. Afos empire and his rule is a way to protect his family. Because if he is the ruler over the world NO ONE can harm them or take them away from him. Ultimate protection. Also its a dream afo had for a long time now, so of course he wouldnt just give it up and instead would try to find a way how he can have both! That was already his kind of thinking with yoichi back then. We also need to remember that afo is a very VERY selfish bastard! "Everything is for ME!" He also said about himself that he is a kleptomanic. "If I see an interesting quirk, I want it for myself. I just cant help it." (Its the negative effect of his quirk on his psyche, turning his owner into a very greedy and power hungry person). And I think this kleptomanic part of him also includes other thinks as quirks. He likes to have a family, even loves them, so he wants to "keep" them. Their are his possession. But I believe that at the very end afo has to make an decision what he wants more or what he wants to protect more. His "demon lord" dream ruling over the world OR his family, because its pretty clear he cant have both, no matter how much he trys to make it happen.

Also the story needs a counterpart for endeavor. Endeavor "the hero" choose his hero carrier and to protect strangers OVER his family and treated them like trash. Was a terrible father and husband.

Afo/hisashi "the villain" chooses his family over EVERYONE else and wants to rule over the world to make sure they are safe and under his protection (and to turn the world into a "better place"). Before he left "overseas" he was a good and loving father and husband.

Things now are more complicated, because he needs to take ofa from izuku and that wont happen without izuku putting up a fight. Afo showed zero mercy towards any other past ofa user, not even en, who seems barely older then izuku (I guess mirios age) and when all of them STILL had ofa. He left banjo and en to die when he realized he couldnt steal ofa from them. He was ready to give ofa up. ONLY with izuku he is hesistant to the point that him using AIR CANON, one of his most destructive moves and the very attack he destroyed half of best jeanist lungs with, didnt even left a scratch on izuku, just pushed him back and INSTEAD it was afomuras hand bleeding, because afo surpressed the truth power of the attack.

You know what grinds my gears?

When they(nrs/midway/mk game devs) tried to have others basically steal what makes shang tsung. Well...shang tsung.

His ability to control souls,his downright dangerously calm demeanor,basicly his devil charm. His cunning. His ruthlessness. His devious and scary smart intelligence. But mainly his soul magic.

Like sure you can have characters similar,quan chi or kollector even.

(I dont count shao kahn cuz he barely uses it and its practically all abandoned cept when plot is convenient plus he's not a sorcerer type. He's a tyrannt warrior type)

But to have characters that never were sorcererers or mages basically take shang tsungs whole character from him and his purpose. It pisses me off not just because I love this character.

But because thats lazy,its insulting to the characters in question and it just doesnt make sense.

Shang tsung is cursed to use soul magic by the gods to replenish his life. He has no choice but to use it,he cant just "get rid of it" or "transfer his power or being" without severe consequences to said person taking it. So to take that away so easily is ignoring that characters whole fucking shtick.

It just pissed me off when they had the likes of sindel n mileena do that. Its stupid to me. Like hell they'd be able to control it. Shang tsung is a master of soul magic for a reason.

Quan chi might but even he has limitations as a demon.

But oh because its so plot convenient its ok?

Thats what always bothered me about mk games storytelling.

Like stop trying to make characters "obsolete" because you have a hard on for another character. Just make more mage characters then. Dont try to steal another characters purpose. Or better yet actually use shang better.

11 despite my gripes with it personally. Did shang tsung justice and im glad they did. Because he's the og bad guy for a reason and it pisses me off when they try to "replace him" when none can ever come close and least in impact.

Quan chi did damage sure. Shao kahn is a beast of a bad guy but he too is limited. But shang tsung knows how to make it hurt worse and longer. And whats worse is....the other characters....especially our earthrealm warriors....they kinda need him at times.

Shang tsung is the devil you know. Keep your friends close,enemies closer type of character.

And people need to put some respect on this og big bads name. Fr.

Like me being a shang tsimp aside. I love me a good bad guy. And shang tsung is in my top 5,probably at number 2 or 3. In my fave fictional bad guy villains of all time.

He just has that swag.

You cant ever hope to fill his shoes.

🍁🍂🍁🍂Alright, since its mid-September, its time for my annual spooky movie reccomedation list! I include ratings, and I can include trigger warnings for any of these films upon request as well! I'm also looking for horror movies to watch myself, so feel free to comment/ask any as well!! So, here we go, in no particular order...🍁🍂🍁🍂

Fantasy/sci-fi horror:

The Thing 1982 [R]: A group of scientists find a shapeshifting alien underneath the ice in Antarctica, and they just survive as it imitates them. Trust no one. The Thing is one of my favorite movies in general. Its scary, retro, and the special effects are insane. It reminds me of classic Lovecraft, but better. Very terrifying. 10/10

Pan's Labyrinth 2006 [R]: During the Spanish Civil War, a young girl named Ofelia enters a world of twisted fantasy while above, her step-father's brutality causes trouble in the midst of a rebellion. Genuinely a beautiful movie. It's like a fairy-tale, and sometimes you forget it's a horror movie. It's simply magical, but frighteningly real. If you love classic fantasy, monsters, history, and horror, you'll love this movie. 10/10

Alien 1979 [R]: A team on a shipping vessel in soace come in contact with a parasitic alien within the clausterphobic confines of the ship. A classic, and it's still absolutely terrifying. Sharp insight on early 80's consumerism (in more than one sense), and a marvel of alien horror. Its very claustrophobic, tense, and 100% worth watching, especially if you love scifi. 10/10.

Aliens 1986 [R]: Continuing the story of Alien, space marines must investigate a distress signal from a colony, and what they find is more horrifying than they could have imagined. Full of retro action, humorous quips, scares, and plenty of bullet spray, it's a terrifying and fun watch. I enjoyed it just as much as the original, and its just awesome, while being scary at times. 10/10

Annihilation 2018 [R]: After the mysterious death of her husband, a Biologist goes into Area X to discover what horrifying cosmic entity his team found there. Not nearly as good, or accurate as the book (I CANT reccomend the Southern Reach trilogy enough), but this movie genuinely frightened me at points and the setting is simply beautiful. Its clever, creepy, and it's a strange watch. 8/10

Signs 2002 [PG-13]: After strange symbols appear in the cornfields on a family's farm, they must protect each other, and their faith, during the invasion. Love this movie, it's just spooky enough, but outside if the monsters, the people in this movie are what really matter. It's compelling, and a beautiful story. Simply excellent. Plus you'll know where the screaming guy in a closet meme comes from after seeing this one. 10/10

A Quiet Place 2018 [PG-13]: Could you survive a world where making a single sound could spell your death? Monsters decend upon the Abbot family, just as a baby is on the way. One of my favorite movies ever. Its beautiful and ABSOLUTELY horrifying. I think I forgot about eating my popcorn while watching this one. Overall, the desperate survival of the Abbots is heartwarming, but oh so stressful. If you can, PLEASE watch the sequel right after this one. 10/10

A Quiet Place 2 2021 [PG-13]: The Abbots face new challenges as they traverse a devestated landscape, and monsters wait around every dark corner for them. An EXCELLENT sequel. I caught myself actually going "NOOO AAAA" at some points, and its totally a worthy sequel to the scares in the first one. Again, great story, great characters, great cinematography, great message. 10/10.

Coraline 2009 [PG]: Coraline Jones, unhappy with moving to a new house, suddenly finds a whimsical world in a little hidden tunnel inside the house, but she learns the sinister truth behind the candy-colored world beyond the wall. Dont let the stop-motion animation confuse you; this movie is terrifying. A classic from my childhood, and its a treat to watch every Halloween. The Beldam has to be on the list of the most horrifying villains ever. 10/10

Zombies, ghosts, ghouls, and everything in between:

The Haunting 1963 [G]: Based on the novel The Haunting of Hill House, a group of people must stay in a supposedly haunted mansion. Eleanor, one of the women, suddenly believes that the house is talking directly to her. One of the many adaptations of the book, it's spooky, and it's very disturbing, while also having a nice theme. Perfect for setting the mood on a October night. 8/10

Night of The Living Dead 1990 [R]: Survivors take shelter in an abandoned farm house while the undead attack. Can they work together, or let their own prejudices get the best of them? I havent seen the original yet, but I love this movie. Very scary, and its directed by Tom Savini, so lots of good ol zombie gore. Not only that, there's a good bit of social commentary here on racism. The classic was the original zombie film. 9/10.

Dawn of The Dead 1978 [R]: As the undead rise up, survivors take to a shopping mall in order to survive. I don't know how to describe this movie's vibe. It has this weird retro 70's feel, mixed with uncanny horror. It's campy at times, but it doesn't take away the scariness. Very fun in a weird way, and its an on-the-nose satire of american consumerism. 10/10

Train To Busan 2016 [R]: While the world crumbles around them, a small group of survivors must learn to protect each other on a train headed to Busan. Seriously, please watch this one. It's completely unique to any zombie film I've seen. It's scary, but you genuinely care about the characters, and its VERY intense. Love this one. 10/10

Murder and ect:

Scream 1990 [R]: A masked serial killer stalks high school students in middle class suburbia. Its a parody of the modern horror genre, clever and scary all at once. I enjoyed it as a classic and I liked the commentary on how violence with no essence effects people, especially when glorified with horror films. Definitely not for everyone, but its good never the less. 8/10

Wait Until Dark 1967 [NR (I give it a PG-13)]: A gang of criminals looking for heroin attack the home of a blind woman, and it turns into a horrifying game of back and forth between them, until it can go on no longer. Literally one of the best thriller movies ever. Genuinely scary, and genuinely clever. This was actually the first film I saw Audrey Hepburn act in. Super tense near the end, I was biting my nails the whole time. 10/10

The Village 2004 [PG-13]: A rural community is faced with a hard decision as the monsters in the woods leave bloody warnings around their small town. I watch this one every autumn. Its atmospheric, the score is breathtaking, and its a great story. Its beautiful, gently frightening, and its overall a love story. I love this one a lot, even though I know a lot of people didnt like it. Don't go in expecting a great twist at the end, and you'll enjoy it. 10/10

Jane Eyre 2011 [PG-13]: Jane Eyre becomes the governness to an estate, and find a dark secret there. Not necessarily horror, but its gothic and absolutely beautiful. Its the perfect october movie. I love it lots. Nothing hits different than a rainy october day, a cup of chai tea, and this movie playing. 10/10

TV Series:

Stranger Things 2016- [PG-13]: After a child is taken by a supernatural force, the small town community of Hawkins must search for answers and find him before its too late, but as they search, a horrifying conspiracy comes to life before them. I adore this series. Its a love letter to the 80s. Cant reccomend it enough. 10/10

The Twilight Zone 1959-1964 [PG]: A serialized series featuring many different stories ranging from scifi to horror and everything inbetween. Its genius honestly. Each story is compelling, and thought provoking. A great Halloween watch. 10/10

The Walking Dead 2010- (seasons 1 & 2) [R]: A sheriff wakes up from a coma to find himself in a terrifying world of the undead. Its a decent series, at least in the first two seasons! Its pretty scary. Its great if you like zombie movies! 7/10

Over The Garden Wall 2014 [PG]: Two brothers find themselves lost within the world of the Unknown, a place where time is blended together and reality isn't quite right. Ok, real talk here. Its my favorite series of all time. I could go on and on and on about it. If you haven't seen it, please I beg you. Theres nothing like it. Its literally the BEST autumn show to watch. Clever, funny, lightly disturbing, deep, nostalgic...its fantastic. 11/10

Angst #7: “You’re going to be ok, please be ok I can’t lose you”

Warnings: mentions of injury/blood, Angst ending in fluff, I tried to keep it gender neutral so lmk if I missed anything, No proof read, I think that’s it.

You sat stared at the passing landscape as you and the rest of Uhtreds group traveled towards Aethelflaeds army. You fiddled with your necklace as you tried to count the trees, or day dream, or anything to try and forget about the impending battle that would be taking place tomorrow. You were a skilled warrior, having been raised as a Dane when you were young but that didn’t make having to fight your people any easier.

You had left for Cookham when you had heard that your mentor, and old friend Uhtred had land there and began gathering warriors to fight for his land in Bebbanburg. He had taught you everything you knew, so it only seemed right to come and assist him in his time of need when he had done so much for you, but now as you approached the battlefield, an uneasy feeling had began to settle in your stomach and it was becoming impossible to ignore.

You were snapped out of your thoughts when Sihtic, your boyfriend rode up beside you with a grin that changed the feeling of unease in your stomach to one of butterflies.

Sihtric had become a good friend, so had the others of course, but something about the way Sihtric made you laugh, how he never underestimated you and how he always wanted to make sure you were ok made your heart flutter.

“Say Y/N, what do you call a priests that’s been stabbed?” Sihtric suddenly asked

“What?” You asked

“Holy”

You couldn’t help the snort that left your mouth, quickly covering your mouth to stifle your laughter as Osferth looked towards you both with narrowed eyes.

“That’s not funny!”

Immediately any attempt to try and hide your smile failed as you and Sihtric both fell into a fit of laughter, much to the young monks dismay.

“Its not! Finan, do you think its funny?” Osferth asked, trying to defend his claim

“Its a little funny” Finan replied, working to hid his own smile.

You were about to respond when Uhtred suddenly raised his fist, motioning for everyone to stop.

“We’ll make camp here. Get your rest, you’ll need it.”

And just like that, the feeling of dread returned.

You couldn’t help it, whether you were collecting water, or fetching firewood, or sharpening your sword, you couldn’t get the intrusive thoughts out of your head. The thoughts of having to face the people you once saw as friends, the possibility of watching the people you’ve grown to love die, of watching the man you love die.

You walked back to camp with another armful of logs, placing them down by the campfire before taking a seat. Most of the others had gone to sleep, leaving you to keep the fire going. Or so you thought.

“You’re up late” A voice said from behind you, causing you to reach for your sword, only for you to turn and see a smiling Sihtric looking back at you, obviously amused by your reaction.

“One of these days you’re going to get stabbed” You grumbled, turning back to face the fire as Sihtric laughed.

“Nice to see you too” He replied with a grin, kissing the top of your head before taking a seat next to you, shifting to a more serious tone. “Can’t sleep?”

You didn’t answer, just shook your head. Sihtric wrapped his arm around you, allowing you to rest your head on his shoulder as you both stared into the fire. You and Sihtric had spent many nights like this, both of you having trouble with sleep, you would spend hours in bed, or in front of a fire talking about your pasts, your hopes, your fears, your dreams. Its how you eventually found your relationship growing from friends to something more.

You knew everything about each other, which is what made what happened next so much more surprising.

“Here, I want you to have this” Sihtric said, making you lift your head off his shoulder as you watched his hands move to his necklace which adorned Thor’s hammer. Your eyes widened as he removed the article and held it out towards you.

“I cant accept this” You replied. After all your years of knowing Sihtric, his necklace was the one thing that was always with him. It had been a gift from his mother, a charm or protection to keep him safe. It was the only thing he had to remind him of her, and now he was giving it to you.

“Y/N, I insist. You’re an absolutely amazing fighter, and you probably don’t need the extra protection, but I want to make sure my love is safe.” He persisted, keeping your gaze with an expecting look, before you finally nodded your head, allowing him to put the necklace over your head, letting it fall to rest on your clavicle.

“I love you” You murmured, returning your head to rest on his shoulder.

“I love you” He replied.

You had spent the night either in the fire, or in each others arms, both too nervous to fall asleep. However, as much as you would hope the night would last forever, the sun still rose, and soon you were off towards the battle field.

You stood near the edge of the field, looking over the land as your hand fiddled with the charm around your neck. It was a beautiful place, and you almost felt sad for the place, the land so unaware of what was about to come.

You were brought out of your thoughts as you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your torso, pulling you towards them so your back was now flush against Sihtrics chest. He pressed a kiss to the side of your neck before resting his chin on your shoulder.

“Its going to be ok” He whispered, holding you tighter to him.

You turned to face him and opened your mouth to reply, but before you could you heard hoofbeats from across the battle field, followed by the sight of a wall of Danes heading your direction. It was time.

“I will see you again soon. I swear” Sihtric said.

You grabbed the back of his neck and pulled his face down to yours, capturing him in a deep kiss. It felt like an eternity, but still, it was not nearly long enough.

“You better”

It must have only been a few hours, but to you, it seemed as though days had past on the battlefield. Sweat and blood coated your body as you continued wielding your sword. You and Sihtric had stayed close together, and while you wanted to make sure he was ok, you also couldn’t get distracted. You felt a blade glide past your face, causing a cut to form on your cheek but you were quick to retaliate, ignoring the sting and burying your sword into the man who had cut you. You were exhausted, and feared the battle would never end, but after a few more slashes of your sword, you watched as the last Dane took off running into the forest. The battle was finished.

You had won.

You looked over the battlefield and met eyes with Finan and Osferth who stood a bit aways. You threw your arms in the air and cheered, watching as they returned the action. You turned around, expecting to see Sihtric standing behind you, but he wasn’t where you had seen him last.

Your heart dropped into the pit of your stomach as your hand rested on the necklace he had given you. You and Sihtric had been in many battles together, and after each one he had always been the first one to greet you, pulling you into a hug as you let relief wash over you.

Your attention was quickly brought to the sound of groaning, causing you to look over just in time to see a hand raise in the air before quickly falling, to exhausted to stay upright. You ran towards the noise, relief filling you as you caught sight of Sihtric, but the feeling was short lived, as your eyes soon landed on his hands resting over his abdomen, which was now covered blood.

You closed the distance between you to and sunk to your knees, moving his hands to reveal a large stab wound. You quickly replaced his hands, putting your own on top of his to put more pressure on the wound.

“I told you I would see you again” He said, his voice forced, like it was taking all of his energy to form the words. “I’m just not sure how much longer I’ll get to”

“Its not that bad, your going to be fine” You said, trying to keep your voice steady though the lie as you thought to make a plan as to how to get him back to the medical tent.

“Y/N, we’ve known each other for years, I know when you’re lying” Sihtric said, his face beginning to grow more pale.

“Ridiculous, I have never lied to you in my life, you just need some rest is all, here, you need this” You moved your hand to remove his necklace but he shoo his head stopping you, your eyes now brimming with tears. “Uhtred!” You yelled, but he was too far, he couldn’t hear you.

Sihtric brought your attention back to him, moving one of his hands to rest on the side of your face as your eyes met his “I want you to keep it. You have done so much for me, I never knew I could ever love someone as much as I love you”

“You’re going to be ok, please be ok I cant lose you” You said through sobs, your tears leaving trails down your blood stained face.

“I love you” He choked, giving you a small smile before closing his eyes, the hand that was on your face falling to his side.

“No no no Sihtric!” You yelled, trying to shake him awake “Don’t you dare, don’t you dare leave me here. Help!”

You finally caught Finans attention, who saw your face and was now sprinting towards the two of you, gaining the attention of Osferth and Uhtred as well.

“I love you, please be ok I love you so much” You cried. You were only met with silence.

After the others had gotten to you, they helped to carry Sihtric back to the Medical tent to get stitched up, but he had still lost a lot of blood. The healers had told you that they did everything that they could, and all you could do now was wait for his body to heal. Two days later, you had yet to leave his side. Uhtred, Finan, and Osferth had offered to watch him for you, to allow you to take a break and get some sleep but you had refused, preferring to stay close just in case he woke up.

You sat on a chair next to the cot, holding his hand in yours as you watched him sleep. He seemed so peaceful, like he was only resting and not recovering from a stab wound.

“You remember the day we first kissed?” You asked, not expecting an answer. You had been talking to him the last few days, both in hopes to wake him, and also to keep yourself sane. “We were practicing with those wooden swords out in the field, and obviously being the better fighter I knocked, you on your arse. I expected you to be somewhat angry, or bitter but you just laughed, which made me laugh, which distracted me enough to let you knock me on my arse. We just laid there laughing forever, and then you leaned in and kissed me” You said, smiling at the memory.

“I let you beat me” A voice mumbled, causing your gaze to shoot up from the floor to Sitrics eyes, which were now open and looking at you, a small smile on his face.

“What?” You asked, not quite believing what you were seeing.

“You didn’t beat me, I let you knock me over, so that I could finally kiss you. It was all part of my pla-”

You didn’t let him finish his sentence, instead (making sure to avoid his wound) you wrapped your arms around his neck and fell into his chest, hugging him as you sobbed.

“I thought you were gone” You managed to say through sobs, pulling back to look him over.

“You couldn’t get rid of me if you tried” He mumbled with a smile, moving a hand to brush a strand of hair behind your ear, then cupping your cheek.

You couldn’t contain your smile as you laughed through tears at his remark. You moved your hands to the sides of his face and closed the space between you, connecting your lips to his.

He was quick to respond, moving one hand to the back of your head to bring you closer and the other to your hip. You only broke away when you heard the flap of the tent open, revealing a surprised Finan, Uhtred, and Osferth on the other side.

“Well I see you’re feeling better” Uhtred said

“No kidding, Y/N what kind of magical healing kisses have you been hiding?” Finan joked, causing you and Sihtric to laugh, which made Sihtric wince a bit at the pain in his abdomen.

“Well, leave you alone, you still need your rest. We’re glad to see you’re better” Osferth said, motioning for the other two to leave before closing the tent flap behind him.

“Now, where were we?” Sihtric asked after he was sure they were gone, moving his hand to dip underneath your shirt, making a face when you slapped his hand away.

“No, you heard what they said! You need your rest” You argued, making Sihtric give you an annoyed look.

“But how am I supposed to heal without your magical healing kisses?!” He replied, making you laugh.

“You’ll live” You said playfully, smiling as Sihtrics face softened, noticing his necklace still dangling from your neck.

“I’m glad to see it worked” He said, lifting his hand to play with the charm.

“Oh yeah, its seems like you may need it more than me” You said, moving to remove the necklace, to which he refused once again.

“Its yours. You’re the most important part of my life, and I want to make sure you’re safe”

You sighed, knowing it was useless to try and argue. So instead, you pressed your lips to his once again, this kiss shorter than the first.

“I love you” You said

“I love you too”

Mk11 doesn't have plotholes

IT HAVE PLOT CHASMS. PLOT ABYSSES.

Plots so huge,so confusing,so stupid. It makes the old sub zero mythologies,and special forces side games look like decent plots.

The only thing good about it is the og actor is back as shang but even then it's still painful.

9,story is garbage. But the gameplay is amazing.

10,gameplay is out of this world. Story is mid,horrible for some characters but solid main big boss. Online i heard is better than 11. But i hate online competitive gameplay. It kinda sucks the fun away. And not worth it. Plus the amount of guest characters because they killed half the roster. It's ridiculous. And unnecessary. So yeah.

11. *breathes in*. 11. Again they knew the story was crap,half baked. So they made a whole ass expansion to a lukewarm story nobody cared for. To retcon a retcon THEY MADE. And guess what? It's that "we are gonna take everything you love about this series and take a huge fat shit on it. For profit" if you like shang tsung,you may love 11. But even then it feels off. But again thats the best they can do. And you damn well we ain't gonna have this again. If there ever will be a 12. Because at this point im not so sure. And honestly i don't care if they dont make a 12.

It would be a shame. But honestly I'd rather take a non canon ACTUALLY GOOD MK GAME. no bullshit. No fillers. No guest characters. No micro transactions. Just a good ol fashioned mk game. Pick a character,pick an arena,and fight. No complicated over explained story. Simple and to the point. Let the audience and players make a story. Or at least,bring back the spirit of mk. Bring back the ACTUAL CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY part in mk,with more than 2 choices. More than "good" vs "evil" actually have real constructive morally grey areas. Like it's not that hard.

If you know your story isnt solid. Get better writers. Or tell your writers to stop relying on dumb tropes. And have actual creativity.

You can make things modern without pandering.

You can have nods to nostalgia without pandering too.

Subtle is better.

If the motives aren't solid. Then things fall apart.

Like they knew that if they dont bring back shang tsung as a big bad boss. It would suck.

Because how can they top corrupt form shinnok. Let's be honest....that was badass.

Nothing was ever really changed. And its a waste of time.

We get nothing but absolute perfection from tagawa's performance. But other then him. Mk11 is weak af.

So again. You like cary hiroyuki tagawa? Good. You're in luck. You like shang tsung? He's the man of the hour.

If you like anything else,anybody else,NRS said fuck you.

Which sucks. Because as a shang tsimp. It pisses me off that that's all they relied on.

And they can't pull that shit again. Because people will know. They already probably do.

They rely on cheap gimmicks,to prey on non mk fans,new fans who haven't touched mk in their whole ass existence and are just getting into it,and y'all fall for it. Because people seem to have short attention spans and need their gatcha fix no matter how poor quality.

Like im sorry. Even if you are new. Have better standards in storytelling. This is a professional company. They shouldn't be worse then us fans telling fart jokes in a fanfic about silly fighting game characters in colorful jammies.

Nonny Nr. 1: we are never seeing the kids travelling w them anna. you will never see them at one aiport, then at the second airport in a way that PROVES the kids were ON THE PLANE w them, because they would need the real parents to be with them, or permission to fly w them. they would also risk being seen. its too complicated. these two don't have any kids, so its too complicated to have two live children travel w them

Anna: Complicated yes, impossible no. If Ben really wanted to make it work, he could. Then again, if Ben really wanted to make it work, he’d smile more when he’s walking / standing within a 5-foot radius from his weird wife.

Nonny Nr. 2: if they had kids at one end of the trip, and kids at the other, they can't guarantee that a fan won't take a sneaky pic, and if that happens they can't guarantee that those pics will be blurred. w a professional they can make prior arrangements that the pics be blurred. if they can't guarantee that then people will see the kids aren't the same on both ends

Anna: That’s why they have to rent the same pillows we’ve already been shown in HD pics in NYC and the Heath Nonny.

Nonny Nr. 10: theres better things in the world than obsessing over a celebrity and his wife and sayin his babies are fake, u ever think that? im only sayin this because ur friends need help and you have to stop for your own health, u know?? are you really happy doing this all the time?? cant you appreciate bens work as an actor anymore rather than sayin he looks tired and that hes been shunned? what abt patrick melrose and doctor strange and all the sunnymarch stuff coming up?? HE IS NOT A FAILURE!!!!

Anna: Nanny Nonny, you must have me confused with other Skeptics.

I haven’t said he looks unhealthy / tired since October of 2015.

I haven’t said he’s a failure either; in fact, I applaud his efforts to create work for himself through SunnyMarch since he obviously has stopped being offered new work from major Hollywood studios. Kudos to him for not only choosing roles that showcase his talent when it comes to SM projects, but also producing two very good films (The Child In Time and what we’ve seen so far from Patrick Melrose).

As far as Doctor Strange is concerned, I wasn’t a fan of the first movie for various reasons you can look up in my archive, but I’m very much converted on that front having seen the potential the character has when he’s being written by someone who knows what they’re doing. In case you didn’t get that, it was a dig at the way Scott Derrickson handled DS.

Anyway, in answer to your question, I am really happy running this blog and having a laugh with my friends. If you’re not as happy reading what I and other Skeptics have to say, feel free to stop paying attention to us and go back under your bridge. Happy trails! :o)
