making a timeline for eyrie and it really is like you hit 50 and you’re life just took a downhill turn there huh
#it might have been earlier I dunno!#their dad died and they ended up on their own#and were taking on apprentices by 75 and had their first child#me handing my oc trauma liek you would be a terrible parent. you would be the best parent#listen eyrie isn’t lacking in the having had a supportive and caring family#they were well loved and knew it. they just ended up in a position#one they knew they would end up living where they ended up incredibly lonely#and that messed them up quite a bit. they’ve got some issues having been lonely for so long#issues they don’t address. impulses they rarely act on bc they’re ashamed of their loneliness#it’s why they didn’t talk to thancred about how they slept together for a long time#their secretiveness is merely forgetfulness. them forgetting they can talk about themselves#and/or it’s them realizing they’re forgetting and continuing to push that under the rug#oc: eyrie kisne#they mean so much to me even though they are so messed up#they would care for a child to a degree of unhealthiness they cannot trust themselves with#they know it and it’s why they’re so hesitant to connect w their daughters#they weren’t part of their lives so what connects them besides blood?#they’re so worried. they wouldn’t call one of their daughters their daughter bc they don’t like how it would change things#it would change nothing but they fear that change#you know after Pollux there’s something that tickles my fancy about incorrectly self aware characters#the worst judges of their own character#edit; they had other reasons for not talking to thancred about sleeping together the one time#it was an impulsive choice and one of those feelings of this is a one time affair sorta thing#they weren’t a stranger to that and neither was thancred#they probably slept together several times but you know

so for anyone interested and the others who are plagued with visions of the posts I write, here's a summary of the established lore of my Warrior Human AU:
Bluestar is 65. Yellowfang is 70. Tallstar is 75 (which makes him well over 90 during the Great Journey)
Redtail is the father of the whole apprentices poss because he's the father of Raven and Sand (and Chestnut who I raised from the dead to make her an apprentice) and the mentor of Dust. Grey is like the only one with no father-child relationship with him until Fire comes along.
At first I had this thing with Dust always taking things badly and snapping back. Now it's turned into a running gag where he snaps back at adults (Barley, Windclan warriors, etc) and his mentor is perpetually telling him ''silence Dustpaw". Particularly, he snaps back at adults who were not talking to him at all, turning this to ''silence Dustpaw, Bluestar/Tigerclaw/Lionheart is talking".
Also Redtail doesn't die before at least 2 years in Firepaw's training. This way it's really painful to see him die.
Redtail is mentionned to be of standard age to become deputy but still a bit young to become leader, so it's cool that Bluestar still has many lives to live, right?
Subsequently Fireheart proceeds to be named deputy at age 28 and become leader at 30. He panicks.
Longtail and Chestnutpaw (once she's a warrior but I don't have a warrior name for her yet) will become mates. Considering he was the youngest warrior at the time and Chestnutpaw is in the older side of the apprentices' group, it's no bigger of a difference than, say, Berrynose and Hollyleaf (which is a pairing I wouldn't chose but you get it).
Lynxkit and Swiftkit are Tigerclaw's sons and will both live old enough to be apprentices. I don't know who will become their mentors tho.
FireGreyChestnut will become mentors very early, but only because I've raised to many dead kits from the grave and I've got too many apprentices and not enough mentors (also Tigerclaw is very active and has already killed two competent warriors).
Firepaw's mentor is Mousefur.

Let’s get to know everyone a little bit better.
8. 13. 14. 21. 22. 29. 32. 37. 44. 48. 50. 68. 74. 75. 77. 84. 92. 96. 100. 108. 114. 115. 120. 126. 132. 133. 146. 153. 163. 165. 169. 172.
Bonus points if there are illustrations or quotes to justify your answers. ✨
Wow, thank you Anon! (I mean... "Anon"... 👀) You really want to read all this?!
8. Who has the worst luck?
Zak, maybe. He's adamant in staying out of trouble, but trouble keeps on finding him!
13. Do/Did any of your characters have large ears they had to grow into as a kid?
Ulrik... Nah, they're still big. 🤡 So, it would be Altair!
14. Are any of your characters nonverbal?
Ash probably, and Juliva.
21. Do any of your characters have heterochromia?
Ash! She's my only character whith heterochromia, and it wasn't even intended at first. But, writing her background story and the part where she's gravely wounded during a hunting accident changed one of her natural green eyes to a blue-ish hue.
Tumblr media
22. Do any of your characters have someone named after them? Or are they named after someone else?
Altair isn't the only "Altair" branch in his very extensive family tree, and also Mereel (one of the kids rescued by the Mandos on Aq Vetina in "The Foundlings") has obviously been named after Mand'alore Jaster Mereel.
29. Are any of your characters nameless? (In that there is no legal record of them existing, they just don’t have names in canon, or history remembers them but not their name?)
... Not one that I talked about here, but he's only known as "Sarge".
32. Do you have any characters who are twins?
Yep! Jo and Josh, Merry's cousins. And Guten and Borg, Ash's adoptive brothers (she's the adopted one).
37. Did any of your characters have a fever they almost died from as a child?
Ash again! After the hunting accident, she almost died while being treated because of said fever. Luckily, Walter and the Crone were good at healing people... 😰
44. Are any of your characters overshadowed by other siblings? Or have parents who clearly have a favorite? (ex: Boromir and Faramir)
Vivian, by her baby sister. She loved her, but so did her parents and she felt left aside. And sadly, she didn't imagine it even though she might have exaggerated it all in her child's mind...
48. Are any of your characters apprentices?
Ash was, Zak too... And Elara, somewhat. But also the main character of a fantasy story with dragons I wrote long time ago.
50. Are any of your characters Good Dads ™?
Neal, even though he isn't around as much as he should, but Korben too. I think Din's biological father (and mother!!) was exactly what Canderous would praise against stupid Dantooine farmers whinging about not knowing what to do to protect and save their children, and Korben made a point for Din to remember them and their courage daily. Korben had a son and a foundling before Din, so he knew already what loss and pain could do to a child and how to handle it... even though after his son and foundling left the covert, he wasn't too eager to take another under his care. Until he saw that silent kid mesmerized by the controls of his ship... 😊
68. Are any of your characters intimidatingly beautiful?
Personally, I'd say Juliva and Litti (because Ana Torv and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are just gorgeous 😍). But none has been written to be seen or recognized as such. I'm not sure Isaac (Juliva's brother in arms and now husband) even noticed how pretty I think she is, and Ela just loved how nice and caring Litti was with her.
74.  Are any of your characters associated with flowers?
... none that I've ever talked about here either. (She's called Lily.)
75: Do any of your characters wear glasses, sunglasses, goggles, or monocles?
Elara wears goggles, Leona wears glasses after a long, tiring day and Vivian and Merry wear sunglasses anytime they need. No monocles but I feel like Anton could fit in here too, because of his stupid gunner helmet 😝
77. Have any of your characters had to kill a friend?
I... don't think so?! 😲 But I have a gnawing doubt now.
84. Do any of your characters have gaps in their teeth or are missing teeth?
Vespera had a gap between her front teeth when she was a child. But not anymore.
92. Have any of your characters started and/or led a revolution?
Vivian started a revolution, somewhat. But if not her, then Ash. Not exactly a revolution though. More like raids?!?! It was against bandits and highwaymen so I'm not sure it can apply as "a revolution" though...
96. Which character is The Proudest ™ of their kids?
Crahl, for starters. All the kids he trained are his pride and joy. But Elara too! She's so proud of Jakem even though he's not her son, and now she's so proud of Tip-yip too!!! She doesn't understand SHIT about all that Jedi stuff but she doesn't care all too much either, so... What she sees is that he knows a lot of stuff, and understand even more!! And that's all she needs. 💖
100. Are any of your characters queer?
Well, Elara? Her most loving and lasting relationship was with a woman.
108. Are any of your characters dogs?
Astro and Nerio. The first is [REDACTED]'s dog and the second is Altair's.
114. Do any of your characters insist on going by their fullname rather than a nickname?
Hmm. I think I have more characters doing the very opposite of that and preferring to go by completely different names like Zak using the name of his dead best friend, Ulrik being known under specific names by his snitches and other contacts, Vivian trying not to trigger Lawrence's script by using her college nickname/username in the park, Elara having a heap of nicknames and monikers given who's talking to her because she can't bear to hear people she barely know call her "Ela" like her parents, brother and Din did...
Well! Now that I think of it, Elara would be one of them! She'd rather be called "Elara" or even by her family name than to be called "Ela" by strangers!
115. Do any of your characters have an honorary father figure?
Ash could count Walter (the grumpy asshole who taught her how to become a demonist) as an honorary father figure, I guess?! 🤣
120. Do any of your characters have PTSD?
Sadly, a few yes. Vivian and Ulrik were my only shell shocked characters, and Vespera has been added to the roster now... because of awful things she recently saw and had to run from during one of our game session! 😭
126. Are any of your characters on good terms/still friends with an ex?
Elara! Litti is still a very good friend of her.
132. Who is the precious cinnamon roll?
Answered here! But I could add Mereel too! This kid is the sweetest there is in all the galaxy.
133. Have any of your characters ever been caught in a fire or explosion?
First, there was Zak.....
"There was a mosquito in the basement... so I threw a match in the powder kegs."
Tumblr media
And now, little spoiler for upcoming chapters of Lost and Found, even though he isn't exactly *my* character:
Tumblr media
146. Were any of your characters disowned or abandoned by their parents?
Ulrik, kinda. His mother helped him out of the house because the tension with his *cough* 'father' *cough* was getting out of hand. So she caught him as he was planning to flee on his own, gave him a few aquilas, and kissed him farewell and good luck. 🥺
153: Do any of your characters embody the spirit of a flapper? (Bonus points for style and or lifestyle)
A "secondary-ish" character in my Westworld series: Marge, a colleague of Vivian's. Also Adelaide and Leona.
163: Are any of your characters autistic? (If so, do they have special interests and what are they?)
... according to @hathorik , Elara would be... ?!?! Even though she hasn't been written to be.
She loves numbers and languages, but I don't know if these interests are any special! Speeder bikes, maybe???
165: Who is a “girls just wanna have fun” character?
Marge again! She's boisterous and a very big mouth but I think she's hidding a lot of anxiety behind her behavior... (PUN INTENDED)
169: Are any of your characters married to the sea?
Does Elara count? Not exactly the sea but space... Litti can tell that you can't keep Ela on the ground for too long.
172: Do any of your characters hold a grudge against someone?
Answered here!

57,74 and 75 pretty please?
57. How conscious are you about including symbolism or foreshadowing in your fics?
-> Eh, I add a bit sometimes? But it's nothing really mind-blowing or requiring lots of deep thinking. It's usually like an item or line that can be linked from the beginning or middle of a story, to an event towards the end. Usually while I'm writing something, I get an idea and pause, then add that idea that's usually a minor thing I have to go back and edit in which ends up being the tiniest bit of symbolism or foreshadowing. Like I said, it's never anything major or complicated, just simple stuff that's very easy to brush over and miss.
74. Do you have a fic you wish got a bit more love?
-> Of my stories? Yes. It's called Sent By The Sun, and it's on my Quotev. It was supposed to be a short yandere series about the mc (reader or y/n) waking up in a strange new world. A mysterious entity chooses them as their pawn, and in this environment you're tossed into, you must take the role of sorcerer's apprentice while avoiding a killer. You have no idea who the killer is, where they are, or what they're like, but it's their mission to kill you. And if they succeed, you will never get home. So the mc has to blend in and learn their new responsibilities, while also learning more about this world and trying to decide who is an ally and who is an enemy. For this story I wanted to mc to be sorta morally gray, or at least they don't always do the right thing and they know that but still go ahead anyways. I spent time on this story and really enjoyed writing the first parts, because I based the world off a setting and culture familiar to me. I wanted to share a bit of what I know, and make interesting poc characters (unlike the majority of the stories I see that have a majority white or pale cast). Unfortunately I've sort of lost motivation for it at the moment, so it sits unfinished. It hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as some of my other series, specials, or one shots. But I think one day I'll finish it.
75. Is there a particular fic that readers gravitated towards that you didn’t expect?
-> Uh, all of my twst stuff? Lol. There's two, actually, and they happen to be the specials I'm kinda most known for (on Quotev at least).
-> The first that I made was Buttons (published in 2020), which is basically just a story like Coraline but the Other Mother is instead the Other Husband, and the mc is an adult woman with a neglectful husband. Oooh, boy, some of the readers for that story wanted nsfw scenes and I just was shocked. I didn't write any scenes like that though, but for some reason people still enjoyed the story despite the plot being relatively the same to the movie. Anyways, in one day I put out like twenty pages for this story, and I haven't written that efficiently since.
-> The Devil (published in 2021). I mentioned it before but this series accidentally ended up being somewhat of the problem child of my stories. I think I actually had the idea for this story sometime around when I came up with the idea for Buttons, and it was in the drafts for nearly a year before I began to seriously write for it. I actually wrote it pretty quickly too, almost as quickly as Buttons, but not quite. The problem with this one was that the readers were romanticizing the yandere way too much. Like, honestly, it was brining down my mood every time I excitedly opened a comment only to see it was a reader gushing about the yandere. Not that it's a bad thing if it's a joke or just for fun, but some of those comments felt too... real. I had to put out a whole statement before they finally stopped.

okay so before you read this a note - I wrote this before the BLM protests began
a second note, I had another almost identical slightly crazier version of this written before coronavirus. a minture of both and, bad judgement is leading my to post this.
consider this - the government is shit - why not just build a completely new one without even fighting to dismantle the other.
-----
Planned Land Name : Newski -
change available on suggestion of better name
When the Doctor was acted by David Tennent he had a line that stuck with me, all the ways we as humans could have decided to live, and this is what we choose. It wasn’t really a choice just a platform of life built over all the last ones, run with greed and fear, and a large portion of cruelty.
We took old models and added to them, and in a way if we continue this way we will deserve the destruction we get. On a singular basis most of us are mostly innocent, and yet, we won’t be for long.
I think now is the right time. Now its more blatant and obvious than ever before. Thirty years ago the government would have experimented on you, and left you for dead, without your consent, penniless. Before that they would have asked you to steadily walk into machine fun fire. The only difference now, is you know of that past. You don’t know of the decade that came next, or the one after that because it’s yet to be revealed. More information on this:
usa see:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unethical_human_experimentation_in_the_United_States
uk see
……..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porton_Down
is all i can find, the uk had a wiki list just like the usa, half as long (USA IS LONG) just as bad. all on purpose. this was here.. someones.. removed the wiki article?? Someone please give me the link. It must be on the internet somewhere still. Is it just me or has this … been deliberately hidden. Hidden in favour of articles on corona virus ‘vaccines’ ah.
anyway, this isn’t news, or even the whole point.
The economy, our very life and being is currently ruled by one question, which is always answered, with ease and purpose. What’s more important money, or a human life? Money or hundreds of thousands of people? The money is now what it always was, money. The prime minister of the UK has sent pople with non-vital jobs back to work. Some of these people will catch corona-virus and die, as a direct FORCED action from the government, as it is no longer an ability for people with those jobs to choose to risk themselves, and their familys. They must work, earn money for the economy (endanger their family and possibly die) or they can stay home loose their job, home (and then die.)
But was there ever a different option? Yeah. Just like the current looming global warming crisis, they were told about possible plague outbreaks. Instead of preparing for a possibility, they closed their. We will face this again when global warming makes its first attempts to claim lives.… well honestly, we’re already well past the first few, but when it starts hitting younger people, when not only the old suffer. When the temperature outside reaches 50c do you think you will be allowed to stay in your air conditioned home? Now we know at least. Not only will you be forced into an environment made uninhabitable by rich greedy bastards, but you’ll also be forced to work on non-necesery jobs (umm actually this show store is necessary because it’s technically a garden blah blah blah. Rich people are bored at home. So now, you must die.
But who wants to go war? - Note I wrote this before the BLM protests, and honestly guys, I’m so proud of you but so many innocent people are dying. Gauge their eyes out. Eradicate the police. BLM! BLM!
Who wants to go to prison, risk losing their job, their free time (oh which every second of is ever so precious because of what they’ve done) who wants to endanger their family? (BLM, heroes but you don’t deserve that. Keep up the good work though. They say all the police in the USA are the ones who are burning cars. Burn the police. burn the police.
Anyway: Instead of forcing a shitty government who takes way too long to make changes what I instead suggest is - make a new city.
Like start in the uk and then spread out, keep architecture unique to the area
Goals:
The sustainable continued existence of humans
Land that is self sufficient for all basic needs food/water/energy/medical care.
Sustaining and cleaning the environment
Creating 3 years worth of food back up for every Newski citizen in the event of catastrophe (plague/war/large volcanic eruption, dalek attack, ect.)
Sustaining and helping endangered animals caused by human interference
Developing cures to diseases that attack animals/environment in nature
Developing cures to diseases and ailments humans experience
Researching and developing cure/coping mechanisms for mental illnesses.
To interfere in other cultures that do not allow their own basic rights, for all citizens due to race/gender/religion/sexuality. (I support all different countries having their own way of life, but I draw the line at where a ‘way of life’  injures other humans. Lets not pretend to make this question harder than it is. It isn’t a hard question to answer. Volcano going to blow up and wipe out an entire civilisation of people who can’t help themself? Then help them.
To interfere in other cultures that force child marriages of those under 18. (Yes that includes the law allowing 16 years olds to get married in the uk! You know who mostly uses that now? Pedophiles, and people forcing their children into marriages. Ideally I’d raise it to 21, theres no reason anyone under that should be marrying.
Researching and creating a defence system for earth (dangerous comets, possibly aliens, mostly comets)
To create a bunker in the event of a large catastrophe where one will be needed for shelter
Creating off world self sustainable, peaceful settlements, and making sure the billionaire don’t spread hell to outterspace- can you honestly say with full certainty the won’t bring back slavery? they might even act like its not slavery if they splice humans with some other species…
To continue developing
Living in Newski
Government:
Newski is managed by 1 King or Queen, and a small Government.  (nnnooo don’t be put off by the word king it’s more like a prime minister)
The King/Queen title is passed on to people when they wish to retire.
The King/Queen may train as many people (apprentices) as they wish but they must choose one person to takeover.
In the event the King/Queen is lost before an apprentice is chosen it will be down to the citizens to vote in one of the apprentices.
A King or Queen that has chosen an apprentice may give them the title Prince/Kinglet/Queenlet.
A King or Queen may unchoose their Prince/Kinglet/Queenlet, if they feel they have made a mistake, unless it is proved they are intoxicated or suffering from a severe illness, such as dementia. Other illness such as depression although severe are not just cause for ignoring the King/Queen.
A King/Queen is not required to have biological heirs however, there is nothing wrong with them naming their own children Prince/Kinglet/Queenlet, as long as they have been through sufficient training, and have been educated.
The King/Queen may be removed of their crown, given the government first votes to it with a 100% agree rate, and the citizens then vote with a 90% agree rate.
Only King (me) may not be removed of their crown, no matter the government votes.
On the death of King (me) expect their return with another body- wow I had a whole paragraph here about resurrection. weird.
The King/Queen may be respectfully retired given the government first votes to it with a 100% agree rate, with scientific evidence to suggest that they have a strong illness relating to memory/reality such as dementia. They may keep their crown and should still be respected as such but they are no longer allowed to walk in on government meetings or throw people in the stocks.
A new King/Queen may then be voted in by the citizens from any of the previous nominated apprentices, or a retired King/Queen in good mind has the right to single rename themselves King/Queen, or narrow down the selected apprentices to five individuals.
The Government is set up of twelve people each individually voted. The King/Queen can choose one person who will enter the government regardless of vote. Citizens will be free to vote in the other 11 from anyone who has nominated themselves.
All government nominees will be asked to fill out a list of what they stand for, and do not stand for, to be published in one easy to read leaflet, next to every other nominee, so voters may understand 100% who they vote for. Nominees who have written that they 100% agree with certain ideas but then vote against them may be placed in the stocks for shameful behaviour. They may also be removed from the government if a fair trial proved they have deliberately and with no good reason changed what they claimed to believe.
The government is to be revoted every 3 years, and the process will take up only 1 month.
There is no limit on the amount of time someone is allowed to be in the government, however if they are in the government for 9 years, they must take a 9 year brake before being nominated again.
The King/Queen may nominate themselves for government, but they cannot vote themselves in.
For new laws to pass there must be a 75% agree vote between themselves.
All meetings between the government are open for the public to view, including ones discussing pandemics and catastrophe. Only meetings discussing an ongoing war may be closed of to the public if they deem it appropeit.
The King/Queen may sit on whatever meeting they wish, unless they are not in a sober state.
The King/Queen may force new laws or regulations they want to create to be discussed first on a daily basis. The government may then choose to vote in the law (75% agreeing to it) or suspend it for 1 week, but it must then be voted on. Only 1 person need ask for a law review to be suspended for a week to put forth the motion.
Justice:
Citizens have a right to fair trial.
King/Queen or Prince/Kinglet/Queenlet are only ones allowed to sentence people for up to 2 weeks in the stocks without trial or other humiliating duties for misdemeanours, given they or her guards are witness to it. Most people will be put through to fair trial, this law is only for if King Opusername is about when it is witnessed.
Laws of the land
Human rights exist, many of that already associated with UK right laws will still exist but with the following permanent addition, food, water, medical care, and electricity needed ensure environmental conditions and basic food.
Rice is out
Potatoes are in
You may purchase avocados and other not Newski food as a treat.
Exceptions allowed only for people with many allergies/intolerance where this is not personally sustainable.
3. Basic human rights for prisoners exist, more advanced rights such as the right to vote are not available to prisoners sentenced to life in prison. Humans in the stocks have a right to water and shade/jumpers, and a 30 minute brake every 2 hours.
4.  Criminal justice can vary from stocks and other humiliating duties, to re - introduction to society- to life in jail, and banishment. There is no death penalty…. ….. …. … … .. .. maybe a request for some prisoners to do the honroable thing and kill themselves. (pedos and nazis)
5. Fighting is allowed, but only within the arena, fighting outside is a serious crime, and assault. - yeah i think we should bring arenas back. I mean boxing still exists but I want to see my neighbours across the road fucking hash it out in the arena, I’m betting on billy.
6. False news, or deliberately misleading news is forbidden, reporters caught writing articles with no previous source to suggest they thought they were honestly writing the truth will be banned from journalistic jobs, spend time in the stocks or humiliating duties, jail time, and face possible banishment for being dishonourable.
7. Everyone of the age 14 or over must attend town or government meetings for at least 1 hour, 6 times a year. The 6 hours may not be ‘spent’ with in one week. This rule does not apply to those in extreme mental or physical illness that makes this impossible.
Home Owning/Renting:
All land is rented through the King/Queen.
Some homes can be rented for a monthly amount, with normal renting rules applied.
Other homes can be (“brought”) “rented” for their entire value, for an unlimited amount of years.
“Renters” who had paid the full value of their home will have full decorating privileges of the inside of their house open to them, and the owning of pets would be down to them. The decoration, or painting of outside of the house must first be granted permission, unless it redo decoration that has aged. Only the removal/addition of walls must first be granted.
“Renters” who have gardens have almost full decorating privileges to plant, whatever they like, however they wish. The only exceptions come with:
Large tree to close to houses that could cause damage
Ponds (planning permission need but most likely granted)
Pools (probably not granted.)
Covering the land with cement if forbidden
Covering the land with plastic grass if forbidden
The use of gravel in small quantities may be granted (permission needed.)
Objects that can be moved, tables, are free reign.
“Renters” who have paid in full and wish to sell their home may only do so to the King/Queen, but it being brought back is guaranteed. “Renters” will receive in full what they paid for it, possibly with the addition of inflation, or more if it well decorated. If the house is in need of repair, major cleaning, or some objects need replacing they may receive less for it.
It is down to “renters” who had paid the full price of the house to look after the house, if however the roof or something similar that will cause major damage is in need of urgent repair and they refuse to have it repaired, repairing will be arranged for them and they will be billed.
Cleaning of the outside walls of the house will be free, and mandatory, as these are for aesthetic purposes.
Home “owners” can be removed from their home in the case that they pose a threat, or are wildly mistreating their home. They will receive their money back for it. This will only happen in the case where they seem dangerous, or leave piles of rubbish in their garden, or animal poop (in the case of their own dog, this does not apply to chickens or other smaller animals) for an extended time and, have ignored 3 warnings to clean up.
Royal Businesses :
All business can be rented or “rented” from the King/Queen.
If a business is shite, the King or Queen can shut it down.
If the owners are miserable bastards their business can be shut down. Listen, I try to use small shops occasionally, and I walk in to see some ugly sad miserable bastards, then I ain’t gonna come again bitch, am gonna go to fucking tesco see wanker.
Unless the owners have a mental/physical illness that makes them appear to be miserable bastards. - a fair and just king/queen. No one else is excused, with the exception of book shop owners, and librarians, I mean I’d prefer if you weren’t but you do you. No one else do you.
All people working around food must wear hair and beard nets. Why are fast food places the only places getting this right. stop being groesss!!
OTHER
Guilds
Fish
fish
….fish? fish guilds.
Fighters guilds.
The guards are like police- but they aren’t. ACAB!!! they’ll brake up a fight. help people with shopping, keep an eye out.
detective guild for crimes commited- like the guards are busy doing day to day stuff. It may sound extreme but imagine this. You are in the uk, your stuff is stolen. You phone the police. They come to your house, they give a nod and say, ‘yep thats stolen’ thats literally all that fucking happens. No police. just guards and detectives.
guards are mostly just going to be dragging drunk people to their homes, or holding incase they throw up and accidentally kill themselves.
mental health emergency guilds - listen, you can’t have a man in fucking armour to try and talk a jumper off a roof, or to help calm down a large man have a tantrum.
what if someone takes a jewellery store hostage? Thats… that going to need different different professional people, probably the outside/talking mental health worker would be better for that than any guard.
stop criminal scum - OR PAY WITH YOUR LIFE.- newski guard catchphrase.

I never thought Marie Ndiaye could write something with soft edges but here it is. One of the best writers of our time. In her hands nothing is ineffable.
(The plot in Ndiaye’s novels is incidental to the psychological expose of the characters so knowing a thing or two about it won’t compromise your thorough enjoyment of this book, but beware that some of the quotes below might be deemed to contain spoilers.)
p.16. “The clear, silvery, majestic light of that November morning so precise set off the Cheffe’s head, her hair pulled back and imprisoned in a pitiless chignon on her nape, her long, straight neck, smooth and solid as a young beech trunk, that for a moment I thought it wasn’t the Cheffe there beside me on the passenger seat but only her image, two-dimensional, without flesh or life, but nonetheless captivating, grand, and aloof, as she often appeared in my dreams, or as I saw her, felt her beside me when I found myself in my room after work, alone but because of that never truly alone.”
p.24. “But I still say she couldn’t bear the lack of friendship or admiration for her parents, she couldn’t accept that the few times they’d consented to come to the school for a meeting their exceptional, flamboyant personalities didn’t immediately snuff out all the harsh words the teacher was planning to say to them, that he did say to them, as if they were bad parents, neglectful, crude, greedy, blind to their child’s capacities, or maybe simply indifferent. And to make matters worse they never answered, they left in the same cheerful mood as when they came, having done their duty, docile but impenetrable, bucking the school as they bucked all institutions, yes, submissive on the surface because they were fundamentally easy going people but deep down immovable and obdurate and not even aware of it, like two little donkeys wrapped up in their own mysterious world.”
p.65. “That’s where it all came from, from that blinding white sunlight on the highway outside the rust-red cover of the pines, it came from the heat and the sight of nonexistent but undeniable rippling water on the packed earth of the Joda’s farmyard that summer when the spirit of cooking recognized the Cheffe and the Clapeaus saw it in her and on her, never in them, but they could still see it, that’s where it all came from: the morose winter sun would never have brought her out, The Cheffe always told herself, she would have gone on being invisible, unknown even to herself, untouched by anything, had the summer light of her sixteenth year not been there to reveal the thing in her that could have stayed veiled forever.”
p.75. “And that was something the Cheffe discovered in that little kitchen in the Landes, she discovered her own body, which until then she’d used only as a single thing, like a reliable machine she controlled from her heart: now, moved and joyous, she realized her body was made up of many little animals who’d learned to work flawlessly all on their own, and who, that afternoon, happy, modest, at once obedient and quietly enterprising, showed her all their savoir faire, working as a tight-knit team that in a sense excluded the Cheffe for her own good, working with an efficiency the Cheffe could never have achieved had she gone on trying to control the machine that until then she’d thought her body was.”
p.73. “I could never put the people I was cooking for out of my mind, I always feared they might not be happy, I always tried to tailor my work to what I assumed were their tastes and desires, that’s why I’ve always been average, virtuous but anxious, that’s why I’ve never reigned over anything, nor that it ever brought me serenity, I’ve never been free of mundane cares, I’ve never known peace, never known the calm cold exultation of perfect aloneness in the act of creation.”
p.81. “Now and then, in the lull at the end of the shift, she would express her surprise at something a customer or an employee had done, and we’d laugh and tell her we were surprised at her surprise, we all thought it blindingly obvious that such a person could only do such things, and she would gently shake her head, murmuring, ‘That’s not how it seemed to me at all.’ Then, in a joking tone that was only camouflage for her dismay at finding us young folk so jaded, she would say something like, ‘How could you possibly have seen that? You’d have to be just as debased as he is!’ And we all laughed, and she laughed along with us, we were so happy we’d amused her (we thought we were amusing her), and even happier that we’d taught her something about life, that for a moment we’d had that small superiority over her, who knew nothing of the world outside her kitchen, we thought, just as we thought knowing the world meant never letting yourself be taken in, doubting plain kindness, mistrusting an honest face.”
P.93. “When you first tasted the Cheffe’s cooking and, if you knew nothing about it, assumed that some luscious reward would crown the private efforts you’d put into appreciating each dish as its full, very demanding measure, you might have seen what played the part of the dessert as a discreet test of your merit, and almost your soul, because then, in order to find the delight you were looking for, you’d have to stifle your childish desire for the gratification of something sweet, but you did most certainly delight, if you could find it in yourself to be bold and curious, and as you delighted you felt you’d been elevated, taken seriously, and as you pushed back your chair you sent the Cheffe this thought that would long make of you, in your happiness, her debtor: you brought out the best in me.
Yes, you delighted, and strangely that delight demanded an investment of seriousness and resolve, in return for which you would never forget a moment of the experience. And if you then went back to more obliging desserts, I believe you had to feel something crumbling inside you, a backsliding not into some weakness or eccentricity but into everything that’s more trivial about you, and in time, to be sure, that would fade, with your busy life and its everyday ways, but I like to think a regret would still smolder inside you, flaming up whenever you realized you’d shown a lack of boldness or style, the regret was there and you couldn’t remember where it came from or what it was trying to tell you, no more than you can remember the distant cause of certain sadness that sometimes came over you, on seeing a golden light against a little patch of wall or the glistening chrome of a radiator grille on a dull summer day, the regret was there, the regret that you’d lacked the ability or desire to stay on the exceptional plane that, for the duration of a meal, the Cheffe had raised you to by the spirit of her cooking.”
p.157. “When I asked why she didn’t simply go back to the Clapeaus’ she said nothing for some time, not because she didn’t know how to answer but because she was trying to find the words, I could see her attention turn away from my face and descent into herself cautiously, as if it was afraid it might startle the truth that was hiding there, still loath to be flushed out. Finally she looked back toward me, gave me a strange, insistent stare (and as I shivered with fatigue in the just-cleaned kitchen I found myself wishing, absurdly, that I could lose consciousness and so escape the tyranny of her gaze, and so run no risk of disappointing her with a yawn or a shocked look, she who so rarely felt the need for sleep, and never the desire) and told me the sacrifice she’d resigned herself to when she left the child with her parents obliged her to undertake something far more ambitious than a return to the Clapeaus’ kitchen, she told me her only hope of enduring what she saw as a desertion, however temporary, and the thought of the child’s unhappiness, even if that too was short-lived, was to risk her own security, her own comfort, because it would have been unthinkable that the only price she had to pay for abandoning her child was running to the shelter of the Clapeaus’.”
p.215. “I was nineteen when I started as an apprentice at La Bonne Heure, fresh out of trade school, with a diploma the Cheffe didn’t even glance at when, one springtime mid afternoon, she met me in the dining room, sat me down facing her, and asked me a few standard questions in a voice at once clear and commanding, and soft, regularly running a slow, tranquil hand over her glistening hair, so flattened down and pulled back toward the little chignon that it almost seemed she was stroking her bare, polished skull, I’d never seen such a face, a face that to my eyes, as I felt but couldn’t yet put into words, seemed the archetype of all human faces, unmarked by sex, age, or beauty, I thought that face painfully perfect, and as I held my own face toward it, a face so muddled by timid youth, by uncertainty and ignorance, I feared I could never live up to the moral rigor that must very naturally belong to someone whose dignity had given her such an incarnation – a face impossible to weigh on any common scale or judge by any ordinary standard.”
p.232. “Yes, those were the years when La Bonne Heure became a haunt for all Bordeaux’s VIPs. There was no question it was happening, but the Cheffe was slow to face it, not because she had some grudge against the upper classes (she never forgot what she owed the Clapeaus), but because she didn’t want to see that even if she didn’t take reservations and kept her prices within reach of any budget the chic, well-heeled crowd was driving away everyone who wasn’t like them, not that they wanted that or dreamt it was happening, but simply by the inertial force of their authority, of their innate right, of everything that was exclusive and closed about them, everything cliquish and disdainful, the Cheffe knew it, yes, but she was slow to face it.”

Backstory:
Even as a young Bean, Fawful was always known as the "Trouble Child". Low grades were the usual for him and typically just barely made passing marks.  A lack of empathy at home translated to very poor behavior and receiving at least one detention a week became the norm. As the years went by, he was bestowed with harsher teachers, and more aggressive bullies, and he found himself growing numb to the world.  During his final years of schooling, he found himself struggling with clinical depression, and after showing dangerous behavior, and an attempted suicide, he was placed on suicide watch for the following month and a half.  (You'll notice that he tends to wear long sleeves most of the time.)
Wanting to escape his hometown, he ran away at the young age of 17, taking refuge among the outskirts of Woohoo Hooniversity.  To try and quell the numbness he felt, he took to studying profusely, gaining as much practical, mechanical and magical knowledge as he possibly could.  It was here where he spent his time until his mid to late twenties, before unfortunately running into his old family who promptly made him move back home.  Without his magic, mechanics or reading to serve as a distraction, he fell into another depression/period of nothingness and even began to abuse the pills he used for treating his insomnia.  For five years he stayed like that, waking up tired to disappoint his parents, yearning for the bliss of sleep to envelop him again, then ending all too quickly just to repeat the process.
However, all of this changes when he stumbles across an abandoned newborn Bean during his early to mid thirties.  His parents had locked him out once again for spending yet another day without any Beanish interaction.  His parents while distant and unempathetic were always insisting to meet a girl, or get a job, or at least spend some time outdoors.  Fawful knew that while they had completely given up hope on him, he still knew that they meant well, however by then anything that was even remotely encouraging had simply faded into an annoying white noise.  However, he decided to humor them just this once.  He decided to look on the bright side of things while wandering through the expansive woods.  For a moment he pondered if there were any poisonous mushrooms around that he could chew on to just be able to feel something again, when he heard it.  It was the distinct sound of a baby Bean crying.  He didn't know why, but he became fearful as he desperately searched for the source.  It didn't take long to find out where it was, but a small part of Fawful wished that he hadn't stumbled across the sight he saw.  In front of him sat the deeply distressed child who had been screaming for help.  She was wailing with what little voice she had left, and covered with small patches of sunburnt skin created by what little light managed to filter through the tree canopy above.  She was dehydrated and definitely famished from being alone probably for at least a day now.  Upon realizing this, Fawful felt a deep rage and resentment towards the Beanish people.  He was filled with deafening fury for the briefest of moments until he managed to turn his attention back towards the sobbing youth in front of him.  He decided that he'd never let harm come to the child now resting in his arms, and for the briefest of moments, he felt the smallest bit of happiness return to him.  From one outcast to another, they were to never be separated again.
The second he could, he moved out of his parents home into one of the local inns before he could live in his own dwelling.  He took whatever jobs were hiring (however difficult it may be being the outcast of society) working hard to make ends meet.  Most days he just barely made enough to get by.  Rent wasn't cheap and neither was food, not to mention he had no idea how to even raise a child, so often times he'd find himself staring deeply into his new apprentice's eyes crying to himself, "I can't do this...". However for the first time in a very long time, he had motivation, and he knew that in the end it would all be worth it to raise a child he knew no one else would.
As Cackletta eventually grew old enough to be schooled, she was schooled at home due to her Master having little trust towards the public schools.  There she learned more during her first year than most kids her age would've learned within their next five.
Soon however, Fawful's fury began to manifest itself as he developed a plan to take down the queen using the Shadow Star, and ascend to the throne, taking revenge on the people she governed.  The only thing he needed now was the grating voice of a powerful warlord and he knew just where to find it...

Aphotictale - characters
Welcome Welcome one and all to the character list for the main character of Aphotictale, in this I’ll be covering the backstories and personalities of the...well...main characters. If you don’t want read all of this the last paragraph has basic information on everyone. Also, the second to last paragraph has the backstory of everything in this timeline, yes, this is an alternate timeline, not universe, and you can ask “what’s the difference?”, and the difference is that an alternate universe is on the same plane of existence, while an alternate timeline (what is about to be said is not scientifically true in any way so don’t come to me saying I’m a liar if you go telling people it’s true and then finding out it’s not) exist in the fourth dimension, where everything in the timeline exists in the third, but all the timelines live in the fourth together. Also, in this timeline monsters live an average lifespan of 5000 years, don’t speak English but rather speak “soul speak”, and they reproduce by taking a part of each partners soul and putting them together, which grows into a new soul. Their food is more air and liquid then solid, and they can even eat plasma. They don’t exactly sleep but rather have like a battery that lasts five days and needs to be charged for one with rest, but like a phone battery they can be chared whenever. Finally, they can live without their body, they do feel pain when they get hurt (except the undead) but even if their body dies, as long as their soul lives they can make a new body. Anyways, let’s begin.
We will start off with everyones favorite, sans. In this AT, sans is the son of Gaster, an abusive mad scientist who lost his mind at the death of his wife and beats sans and experiments on him. Lucida, who died in the great war is Sans's mother. He is a heavy alcolic who usually drinks 10 bottles of 75% Vodka before getting buzzed. He is also an apprentice to Gaster and a scientist himself, although no one ever gives him credit for his works. He has a human soul (which will be explained at the end) of Justice, and when killed, will turn into his...de"termination" mode, which was made accidently when Gaster was experimenting on him. He doesn't really love anyone but cares deeply about his brother Papyrus, technical son Napstablook, and Toriel. Sans looks the way he does due to his father, Gaster, injecting his magical dna into child sans in hope that he will become as smart as Gaster quickly, although while it did give him his wits, it also gave him some of his problems like addiction and carelessness. In general Sans is a careless hero. (Echotale sans is made by Yoralim on tumblr and gastertale sans is made by borurou on tumblr) Next we have Papyrus, sans's older brother and Gasters and Lucidas child. He is the golden child everyone loves and respects. He seems very unloving and rude to many, only thinking in equations and strategies. He is the royal strategist of the royal knights, planning attacks and giving orders. He secretly cares about Sans in a brotherly way, his father Gaster in a fatherly way (unless all you fontcest shippers want more, in which I can't stop ya) and he is in love with Mettaton. Him and Mettaton are lovers who secretly had a child named napstablook, but when the child was found they said the child was sans's. He has a soul of perseverance (again, will be explained at the end) and never gives up on his goals, doing anything to achieve them. (Gastertale papyrus is made by borurou on tumblr). In all Papyrus may seem cold and soulless, but deep down cares about many. Moving on we have Mettaton, star of the underground, mother of napstablook (yes in this Mettaton is a female) and Papyrus's lover. She publicly hates Sans for "rape" but in private is very sorry for pushing it onto him, telling Sans all the time of how sorry she is for having to lie, he eventually forgave her and accepted the role of being napstablooks father. She is very compassionate and caring, always willing to help everyone she meets and just wants to make the underground a better place. She has a soul of compassion (a pink soul is a soul of compassion) and in Omega form her soul is cracked. She was originally a ghost monster, but then Papyrus came along and made her a body to her liking, which is part of the reason she loves Papyrus. All in all she is a compassionate soul (pun intended) and cares for the whole underground like family. Now to the son of Papyrus and Mettaton, Napstablook. Napstablook is very shy but yet kind, putting others before himself. He admires who calls his father Sans and tries to live above Sans's expectations and do whatever it takes to make him happy. He goes to a high school with other monsters and tries to help them with there problems, but is usually bothered a lot and constantly has anxiety attacks due to him being the son of Mettaton. Mettaton tries to help him as much as possible, but usually has Sans or one of her employees babysit him. He feels alone and unloved a lot, but acts happy and cheerful, hoping to be like his mother when he grows up. He loves music and makes many songs of his own, usually romance and techno, the romance songs being about his crush Alphys. He has a soul of patience Alphys is a highschooler who is very intelligent and has a crush on Napstablook (sorry everyone but the Undyne x Alphys ship isn't cannon in this). She is short and chubby, usually wearing a t-shirt and skirt with round glasses. She is kind and helping with a sharp mind and straight A+'s, always being called the monster calculator (like someone calling someone else a human calculator for humans). She is very shy and has anxiety problems coming from years of bullying, one of her only friends being Napstablook, which is part of the reason why she loves him, another reason being that she has heard some of his romance songs secretly. She has a soul of integrity and thinks of Undyne as and older sister or mother since she is an orphan that lives with Undyne. The royal knight herself, Undyne. Undyne is a tough soul who isn't afraid of anything except herself and Gaster. She fights for the betterment of her kingdom and will stop anyone in her path. She loves action movies and her trusty katana termination. She has a small crush on asgore and thinks of alphys like a little sister, helping her be strong and teaching her how to fight when Alphys wants to learn. While she may teach Alphys, Alphys teaches her too about science and math, helping Undyne finally get her education. Undyne works for King Asgore and Gaster, although she doesn't trust Gaster due to his closed off nature and how his sons look so much like him and not their mother. She has a soul of determination. Asgore is the older brother of Toriel (yes they are siblings in this not married, when i first played undertale i thought they were siblings due to their resembling looks) and King of his side of the underground. He is a rough and evil person in battle but can be kind sometimes. He is tall and muscular with black hair and a black "goat T" (puns are awesome), a red stripe going through his sleek, pulled back oily hair. He has huge horns that circle around and point up and foward, wearing heavy armor and a red cape. His sister Toriel and him grew up fighting each other and lost their parents in the great war, they ended up growing up to hate each other and even splitting the kingdom in two. Asgore cares for Sans and Papyrus like they were his brothers and cares about Undyne like the sister he never had and always wanted. Asgore has a soul of Bravery, afraid of much but always standing up to his fears and laughing at them. He asked Gaster once to make a son for him so Gaster injected a bit of every soul type into an echo flower and Asgore named the flower asriel. Toriel is the queen of her kingdom and rules with a soul of Kindness. She always helps everyone she meets and always allows people into her kingdom, giving them hospitality and friendship. She is in love with Sans and has told him many times, although sans doesn't know whether he loves her or just thinks of her as a sister. She cares the most about her nephew Asriel, who is a flower made by Gaster and is Asgores son, she tries to help him with confidence although it's hard for him since he is so weak. She does not have her own army but has a peace treaty with Asgores kingdom. All in all she just wants to make the underground a better place for everyone. Asriel is a kind echo flower with a small soul consisting of every soul type and has the only white soul and because of it called a soul of life, made by Gaster because Asgore wanted a prince to his throne. Asriel tries to be normal and goes to school but gets made fun of a lot for being a flower and called a traitor. One of his only friends is napstablook, who he looks up to and tries to hang out with as much as possible. He tries to help everyone he meets but has a tendancy to lose control when people attack him or make fun of his family. He hates politics and violence and either fights or hides when anyone bring it up to him. Gaster is a malicious being with a soul pure black, discomfort. He is cunning and smart, easily manipulating people and hiding many dark secrets. He is the father of Sans and Papyrus and husband of Lucida. Before Lucidas death he was a nice man with a blue soul, but when his wife died his soul turned black and he began to hate everything, beating Sans day after day as he grew up. He soon became the royal scientist due to his amazing schematics for the new kingdom, and ever since has been helping the underground be a better place while secretly experimenting on people for science and his own sadistic pleasure. He hides his black soul in his skull and shows an artificial blue soul, making everyone think he has a blue soul. Now for the backstory. *cue undertale intro music* long ago many tribes and colonies lived in harmony, such as the dead (ex. Sans, mettaton), the atlantians (ex. Undyne), the goats (ex. Asgore) and many, many more. One day a new tribe was discovered called the humans. These colonies treated the humans with kindness and hospitaliaty but the humans were afraid of them so they started a war. The humans won and cast a spell using millions of human souls (because in this monsters and humans has the same soul types) that made it so nothing could ever leave the underground. Present day: 2772. Those who fall underground are said to never return, being eaten by the horrid monsters that ruled 2772 years ago. But you, a human wandered to the hole, whether it was stupidity, hate for humans, or who wanted only for death to come and take you, and fall into the underground...APHOTICTALE. Okay so now we got what happened before the great war and how you, the human protagonist, have fallen underground, let's talk about what happened to the monsters. The monsters first freaked out, war raging against themselves as all hell broke loose. But one day, the undead colony and the goat colony signed and peace treaty and ended the great war that strarted with the humans attacking. Soon a goverment and civilization was built and most of the "first generation" (ex. Gaster, lucida) had died off, leaving the prince Asgore and princess Toriel in power, at the same time Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, and Mettaton had become adults, these were know as the "second generation". Soon a battle broke out between toriel and Asgore, causing the kingdom to be split in two and a peace treaty being made. After that mettaton had gotten a body and had napstaton, while alphys was born and then abandoned, Undyne finding her and taking her in. Alphys, Asriel, and Napstablook are known as the "third generation" and the ones who are in school right now. Sans: son of gaster and Lucida, brother of Papyrus, accused father of napstablook and alcoholicic scientist, soul of justice, 2nd generation Papyrus: son of Gaster and Lucida, brother of sans, royal stratigist, mettatons lover and real father of napstablook, soul of perserverence, 2nd generation Mettaton: mother of Napstablook, star of underground, soul of compassion, 2nd generation Napstablook: son of Mettaton and Papyrus, goes to highschool, musical sensation, has crush on Alphys, friends with Alphys and Asriel, soul of patience 3rd generation Alphys: adopted daughter/sister of Undyne, has crush on napstablook, anxiety problems, smart, soul of integrity, 3rd generation Undyne: royal knight, step mother/step sister of alphys, has minor crush on asgore, doesn't trust Gaster, super tough, soul of determination, 2nd generation Asgore: king of his kingdom, brother of Toriel, hard and tough on outside but is a bit of a softy, asriels father, soul of bravery, 2nd generation Toriel: queen of her kingdom, sweet, kind, helpful, Asgores sister, asriels aunt, soul of kindness, 2nd generation Asriel: son of Asgore, echo flower injected with a bit of every soul type, nephew of Toriel, friends with alphys and Napstablook, prince to kingdom, soul of life, 3rd generation Gaster: royal scientist, father of Sans and Papyrus, crazy, seems sane on outside, has artificial soul of integrity, wife died, soul of discomfort, 1st generation. Thank you so much to everyone who has read this far, this took me a couple of hours to write nonstop and I am very excited for this AT and I hope others are too, so please, tell your friends about this, write about this, even draw fan art about it! Just please credit me if you do, I've been working on this for a while and I want it to work out. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great day, thank you for reading about Aphotictale.

Mine and M's working relationship so far, without legally binding paperwork solidifying things, has been him giving me music toys to play with like a child. I try to adopt a suitably child-like attitude to it, but have no real precedent for infantile play since every homework assignment I was set during school I treated like the court filings for a high-profile murder trial
Even the early projects - to draw a picture of my family and describe each member in three words, say - were so painstakingly thought-through that I would scratch my scalp until I found blood on my fingers (though now after a decade of therapy I realise family is cause for anxiety in any curriculum)
So when M gives me a new piece of equipment to add to my culinary ‘recording studio’, a 1980s Linndrum drum machine, a guitar pedal, and now a Juno synthesiser, I go through the same perfectionist hell as ever
I’m never not surprised by the stark difference in collaboration between the art and music worlds. V would support or critique or suggest anything she thought would be good for me, but would never come to my studio with a tube of oil paint or gel medium and suggest I use it
Technique, to us, is a much larger and longer game than the materials it’s made up of, and any strides I take she lets me take in my own time, knowing I have the better part of 60 years to discover dammar varnish
This if-it-ain’t-broke-don’t-fix-it art approach is at odds with how quickly M wants to add another filling to the musical sandwiches he and I will serve to the world (and by world I mean North America and its territories). There’s an authority thing here, a master-apprentice dynamic which reminds me not only of school but of dads and chefs
Truly on paper I couldn’t ask for a better master, and how much of a hard time I give myself over forgetting both my grade 4 grasp of piano and which settings I like on the synth minutes after I’ve tried them is entirely my issue
I take suggestions as insults and praise as lies, knowing deep-down that there’s no fucking rush, no deadline, no imperatives, but attaching an invisible ASAP post-it to everything
Knowing, too, that with the Linndrum I considered suicide for the first few days of its being in my home, felt like it was mocking me and my penchant for the pre-programmed drums that come with Ableton Live. Because it was on loan, it had M’s name on the back which didn’t help, like those big-ass crucifixes Christians have in their homes to remind them God is watching, that you can always, ALWAYS pray more. Within a week I was using it with abandon
And it could be worse, I could have a UTI, an opioid addiction, I could have contracted scabies from a threeway in France, I could be 75 and in a Kings of Leon cover band, could live in Staffordshire. The worst, perhaps, would be a lack of desire to achieve anything at all. That’s the would-you-rather for my tombstone I think: would you rather be illustrious in pain or unambitious at ease?

Addressing Contravene Your Child Or Adolescent Conveniently, The Third Step.
Be actually inspired to attain your wellness, joy and happiness and riches targets. The Americans had no hat techniques in the 1st 33 activities of the time then had 5 hat techniques in the next 24 video games. The overall from 8 National Finalists were actually selected off 75 groups and 650 apprentices which went into the Problem. A functioning video clip card could be inserted right into the body and also if the show arises, after that the online video memory card of the personal computer under repair work must be transformed. Settlement takes place at the aspect where the authorizations determine that a financial institution is stopping working or even likely to stop working, that there is not one other managerial or even economic sector intervention that could recover the organization to practicality (for example by applying procedures set out in a supposed recuperation program, which all banks are demanded to draft) within a brief timeframe and that ordinary insolvency process would result in monetary vulnerability while having an influence on the general public interest. Trickle Down Economics
She got us to look at trickle-down economics a theory that says benefits for the wealthy trickle down to everyone else. These benefits are usually tax cuts on businesses, high-income earners, capital gains and dividends.
Trickle-down economics assumes investors, savers and company owners are the real drivers of growth. It assumes they’ll use any extra cash from tax cuts to expand businesses. Investors will buy more companies or stocks. It assumes that Banks will increase business lending. Owners will invest in their operations and hire workers. The theory says these workers will spend their wages, driving demand and economic growth.
Trickle-Down Economic Theory
Trickle-down economic theory is similar to supply-side economics. That theory states that all tax cuts, whether for businesses or workers, spur economic growth. Trickle-down theory is more specific. It says targeted tax cuts work better than general ones. It advocates cuts to corporations, capital gains and savings taxes. It doesn’t promote across-the-board tax cuts. Instead, the tax cuts go to the wealthy.
Both trickle-down and supply-side economists use the Laffer Curve to prove their theories. Arthur Laffer showed how tax cuts provide a powerful multiplication effect. Over time, they create enough growth to replace the government revenuelost from the cuts. That’s because the expanded, prosperous economy provides a larger tax base.
But Laffer warned that this effect works best when taxes are in the “Prohibitive Range.” This range goes from a 100 percent tax rate down to some hypothetical rate somewhere in the middle. If the tax rate falls below this range, then further cuts will only lower government revenue without stimulating economic growth.
Trickle Down Theory-Did It Work?- you decide
Universal Income is an idea which is growing.Moving away from means testing and poverty and giving everyone a  modest set amount. Yes there is a lot of uncertainty in society so what about a universal income? well its being trialed in different countries around the world.
    Is it a good idea?
We came across West Cheshire Poverty  Truth commission who had direct experience of poverty and what we can learn from it about trust and wisdom, going beyond sympathy.
The  West Cheshire Poverty Truth Commission starts with a question. What if the people who have directly faced poverty were involved in decisions about poverty? This question comes from the belief that… No lasting social change happens without the people who suffer under the status quo taking a lead in bringing about a change to that status quo. A principle that can be seen throughout the history of social change, from suffragettes to civil rights. And the status quo in parts of West Cheshire is one of inequality. The difference in educational achievement between one of the borough’s richest wards and one of its poorest is dramatic. We have one neighbourhood where more than half of children are being brought up in low income families, while in some other neighbourhoods the figure is under 2%. And male life expectancy is around 10 years more in West Cheshire’s richer wards compared to the poorer ones. But behind all these statistics are the lives of real people, and West Cheshire Poverty Truth Commission aims to give a face to the facts and provide the opportunity for those affected by poverty to tell their story. So, we gather a group of experts through experience who we call ‘Community Inspirers’ – people with direct experience of poverty in its many forms. Together this group of Inspirers spend time sharing their stories and experiences with each other and consider who in West Cheshire might have influence to bring change. Civic and business leaders are then invited to join the commission. The poverty truth commission is not about these civic and business leaders and their organisations providing the solutions, but about developing relationships of trust and empathy with Inspirers and seeing what happens when their combined resources, experience and wisdom as co-commissioners are brought together. The commission recognises that there are experts and wisdom on all sides and seeks to unlock this wisdom by really listening, going beyond communicating mere facts. Sympathy is not enough, we need to see the world through another’s eyes and reach a deep creative level where together individuals can connect to something larger than themselves and open up and commit to new future possibilities. Over time this leads to the emergence of issues and themes which, through a variety of ways, the Inspirers and civic and business leaders begin to explore and address together. Ultimately the poverty truth commission in about culture change. Changing communities, organisations and individual attitudes towards poverty and how to tackle it. And asking ‘How in West Cheshire do we deal with poverty where we all have a responsibility and a part to play?’
You decided.
Perhaps its a time for re-looking at both arguments again and come up with a plan for our societies that works for all.
The Team,
The London Flower Lover
Are we a lonely society because we work too hard? Or is it that we are scared of the poverty trap we ask? These issues flower in our hearts Beloved Flower Lover, Melanie Poole talks about the band aid of holidays that are actually a band aid for the overworking culture we are in she claims.
