y'all, I'm really sorry for this one, I did not mean for it to be this thirsty, I swear

No see, listen--shut up, listen--I was thinking about Troy and then of course the Odyssey we all missed out on, which naturally led to thinking about the various iconic scenes we could've had, and OBVIOUSLY the siren scene is at the top of that list, and I was playing with how to depict the effect of their song, and I've used this look before with Eugenides with pretty good results, but then I was reflecting on how aside from VFX this scene would take a lot of body acting, and how Sean's so good at conveying pain and that would translate naturally into the seduction of the spell, and huh when I write it out like that I absolutely did intend for it to be this thirsty.

Man I hope one of my manuscripts gets picked up soon; being off-deadline is not healthy for me.

i feel like everyone always talks abt how in love troy is w abed (which is true he IS very in love with him, and his love is explicitly stated. cough cough epidemiology), but i don't see as many people talking about how in love abed is with troy!!!

and i think this is because his love is more subtextual than troys is. sure, he never directly tells him "i love you", but he includes troy in everything he does, hes jealous of britta when she starts dating troy, he literally hallucinated lava because troy has to sail across the world without him!!!!! he's just as in love as troy is, he's just more subtle about it

I think it would be really funny if Abed becomes a (mediocre) famous filmmaker and he gets cancelled on twitter for "queerbaiting" and he's like "queerbaiting? this movie is about me and Troy, and we're just friends." then he looks at the callout posts and they're just pointing out behaviors that actually exist in Troy and Abed's friendship that Abed perceived as platonic (but lets be honest here) and being like "see??? that's clearly meant to trick us into thinking they're gay."
