Synopsis - Just some general Headcanons for one of my favorite game series and characters!!

Tags and Warnings - Harm Towards the Reader, that's all I got.

Authors Note - THIS IS SO CRINGE (please don't unfollow me I'm going through a phase (I'm working on BTS reqs rn I swear))

Kratos

Literally is known for killing, and will gladly do it again

Your like family to him and he's seen too many of those he considered family betray him and die

Pre Norse Kratos would be at his absolute worst peak. Any little thing would result in someone else dying.

Looked at you wrong? Cut in Half.

Someone told you something? Eyes Gouged out.

And the worst someone did to you the more serious Kratos would punish them, or really kill them.

His rage is met with something that calms him, makes him feel grounded, aka you.

But my god is he gentle with you, no matter what. He touches you almost like you'd break if he used anymore force.

Even with the little words he uses when talking to you, he truly loves and cares for you. All he wants is for that love to be recognized and given back to him.

But one thing for sure, Kratos kidnaps you. Just to keep you in his sights and a place he knows and can see you whenever

Post Norse Kratos is much more pleasant to be around. He's more stern, more calm, much more approachable, even if needing a much more deeper urge too.

Plus if your good with Atreus, that only makes things better. He sees that maternal aspect in you instantly

However no matter what he keeps is past closer off to you because he doesn't want you to think any different of him.

(HE LOVES BIG WOMEN GUYS I SAID IT. HE GOT TOO. (all his dead wives are skinny (let me be delusional)))

You yelled out running into the middle of of snow. It was freezing cold but you couldn't stop anytime soon. Or else you'd be trapped back in that house, never to see the light of day.

You heard him.

Heavy, labored breaths behind you.

You ducked down behind a rock, trying to slow your breathing. This was hopeless, but you had to Atleast try. Maybe Freya would help you or something, she does a have a thing against your captor.

“Do you wish to die out here.”

A hand went to your mouth, refusing to give in to the fear that overtook you.

“You cannot survive the cold. Come back. Do you not want to be home? With us?”

His footsteps grew louder, he knew what he was. He was intimidating, scary, deep down a killer.

And did he know how to use those aspects to his advantage.

A hand grabbed at your ankle and you were pulled up by your foot. You made direct eye contact with the wall of muscle that you'd grown to fear. His breathing was labored but he took a deep breath in, and sling you over onto his shoulder.

“We are to talk about this later. Understand?”

All you could do was sob silently and nod your head.

Freya

Man when I tell you shes reminded of what love feels like, she is reminded hard.

She's already broken, having almost everything taken away from her by Odin. But you mend those tears in her soul, binding them shut with your mere existence.

Freya would've instantly been drawn to you, seeing as all you wish to do is care for the people around you, being free from Odin's eye, as your inconsequential to him

She would grow to envy your freedom, as you traveled the realms as freely as you wished. Your absence would plague her, growing to be that without you she feels empty.

And it gets worse after Bauldur dies.

Once he's gone you flee quickly seeing what she's turned into. Fueled by rage and regret, she would have these outbursts of just heavy emotion. And so you left, avoiding Midgard at all costs.

It wouldn't be long until she finds you, being free from her curse. Freya would tackle you to the ground and capture you, vowing go nrver let you out of her sights again.

And she doesn't, she wants you to either be locked up and with her. And majoirty of the time it's with her. She wants a new spouse, someone to actually call her love and mean it.

“There you are!”

You were tackled to the ground, bound by vines that were never apart of the vegetation of the realm you called home.

The sight of a angered Freya came into view as your eyes opened. Her breathing was labored as she moved her hands, the vines still keeping you stuck. Her hands came to your cheek and you winced at her cold touch. A paled man stood over in the distance watching silently.

“Your just as beautiful as the day you left…” She mumbled to herself bringing your attention back to her. Freya's hands pressed against your cheeks as she leaned in, kissing your forehead passionately. The action almost mimicked a mother, trying to clam her new born baby.

But this wasn't the situation for that.

“Freya please we can tal-”

“So you know how much you hurt me?! You left me alone. Alone with my thoughts, I spiraled without you.” She yelled at you. This is one of the reasons you left in the first place, her mood can switch so easily. “But that's in the past, and all I care for is the future. One where you and me spend eternity together.”

Atreus (But in a platonic crushing way cause ya know he a minor)

He's crazy, literally whipped for you. He's considers you to be his best friend, and does a bunch of harmless flirting.

Of course he thinks your pretty, one of the prettiest people he's ever encountered and has he seen some things. But he knows that staying friends keeps him happier, and less stressed

Being a mortal really didn't help your case, if anything it made Atreus more protective of you and your safety.

Any situation he deemed to dangerous and unsafe for you, he'd make you stay behind (he takes after his father a lot.)

You often are the subject to which he vents too, it's rather unintentional, everything that's happened and is currently happening to him is just so stressful. And god knows he couldn't vent to his father or Sindri.

He has this thing for showing you the world through his eyes. Like he'll tell you what animals are saying and how they're just like him and you. The beauty of nature is something he just has to show you

One thing that's worrisome is how impulsive he is. He's so quick to stand his guard and protect you when it comes to you and your safety. Key example is Heimdall, in which he never liked. Atreus hates how the blonde talks to you, in fact he would immediately pull out the wolf when Heimdall even mentions you.

Off note, Atreus will bring you to Asgard with him. No matter what you say he'll want you to be there with him. His excuse is that you'd make a great duo, but in reality he doesn't want to be alone.

“What is wrong with you!? Your trying or at least considering to go to Asgard?!” You yelled once inside of Freya's abandoned house.

“Its the next best lead I have. But I need you to go with me, I can't do it alone.” Atreus said as if it was the most simple thing ever. You furrowed your brows at the half god.

“Let me break it down for you. I'm a mortal. A mortal in a realm built for gods? Yeah your fucking crazy. Oh let me add this. I'm a child, your a child, WE'RE CHILDREN!"

“I'd say young adults, shit maybe teenagers. But the thing is we have to, we have to save my dad.” Atreus tried to reason with you.

“Since when is it a WE thing? Atreus this is your prophecy not mine. Hell not even Atreus, this is Loki's prophecy."

“Wait don't go I need you!”

“Goodbye Loki.”

“No!” He yelled before shooting a arrow at your arm, cut forming at your forearm. You hissed out and grabbed at the wound, the cold hitting your blood. “Your not going anywhere hurt like that. Step out there and the cold will infect the wound. If you come with me, Odin can heal you.”

“I'm-”

“Make a choice.”

“Fine. I'll go….”

omg what happened with the Snape fans?

mm. man. okay here we go 😭

so i made a post last year that was kind of poking fun at how snape fans ‘baby’ snape. which is not in the stereotypical sense where they characterise him as someone submissive or meek, but in the way where they destroy any nuance to his character and characterise him as a martyr or a hero in the face of the “terrorising, popular bullies” or what have you. which totally gets rid of the point of him— showing how lonely and bitter boys can be taken advantage of by redpill rhetoric and lose the things they cared for the most. its funny because snape fans will bitch and moan about marauders fans who do the exact same thing.

i didnt word it like this, i worded it as a sort of snarky joke at them. i had like 60 followers at the time. i didnt think it would get much traction at all bcuz i had criticised the marauders fandom MUCH more at that point and hadnt gotten any flack for it on tumblr so i assumed it would be the same for “the snapedom” or whatever cringe name they go by.

i got called a bitch, idiotic, stupid. they were pulling old posts i made of silly headcanons about the marauders and reblogging my post saying i was just another delluded marauder fan who just hates snape and reads too much atyd. which is SO funny because i have never read a marauders fic but i have tried to read snape-centric fics and most of them i had to drop because of the lily-bashing in it. and multiple of them tried to gaslight me in reblogs and the notes and tell me that snape fans were not like that AS THEY WERE LITERALLY PROVING MY POINT. they were saying “its so clear you havent met a snape apologist and just want to bash us” like ??? they had a serious case of victim complex and it suddenly made sense to me why they characterise snape the way they do. someone said i was trying too hard to be “not like the other girls” for criticising both snape and marauders fans, and when i proceeded to block them they made a pinned post about me thats still pinned on their blog 💀

when i tell you these people were like a hornets nest. i used to feel bad for them for the flack they get for simply liking a character— but after that i was so done trying to defend them. i remember at the time i had a more detailed criticism of snape i was going to post but after that i was too scared bcuz if they reacted like that when i never even insulted snape, i knew i was going to be absolutely cooked if i decided to actually say something of value.

and that was just from one post. there have been others who have tried to convince me things about the marauders characters that are simply not true. like james sexually harassing lily into dating and marrying him, or how sirius and remus are terrible for wanting to kill peter pettigrew themselves instead of sending dementors to him. such stupid ‘arguments’, if you can even call them that.

theyre like delusional james potter fans, which is hilariously ironic. both claim to hate the other for doing the exact same things they do.

first impression: like i said i will have the hardest time with this one because i watched it when s1 was airing and i have goldfish memory. but i remember thinking she's such a capricorn and an ex friend saying something about not liking her in a way that made me just think. well do you like ME cause you just listed my traits lmao oh and i was worried about what they plan to do with her after s1 finale ngl

impression now: this might be a great moment actually to discuss my feelings on s2 tai. i'm so very torn between like. agreeing that they didn't spend enough time on tai and there are issues with how her character is handled this season and.. connecting with tai so much more than ever before. like yes modern timeline tai was very much losing her grasp on her life from the very beginning of the show but she was so deeply in denial about it and was otherwise so successful and in a way that i just can't relate to because - sorry to slightly overshare (but hey what if someone needed to know that) - i dropped out of uni and my life very much didn't and isn't ever going how i planned it so i sometimes avoid characters like this because it can ignite a bit of.. shame. i guess. in me. with that out of the way. taissa who is so afraid of falling asleep? who doesn't trust her own self and is afraid of parts of herself? tai who represses to such a degree but can no longer hide it and it's getting out of hand and she's lost and she's reaching for the person who made it better years ago? oh THAT hits

favorite moment: HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE. i mean that's what came to my mind first. the actual favourite moment i think is when she says "we hear the wilderness and it hears us" while shauna is giving birth. i think it's such a beautiful moment and it's so special and devastating and beautiful. like. i saw people call tai selfish and idk maybe i just relate to her too much and i'm just also selfish but i don't see her as selfish. she's a pragmatic and she oftentimes uses cynicism as a shield and she's really opinionated in a way that can be hurtful (like when she talks to van in s1 finale and at first is kind of shitty after van tells her about her near death experience. it's a scene i always cringe at because oh my god i was totally taissa in that moment many times in my life and i very much try not to be but yea it's kind of insensitive and kind of a know-it-all behavior and it's a character flaw that is so good i love you taissa) but like she is so protective and such a leader and she loves so fiercely when she lets herself and nothing devastates me more than thinking of her so scared for shauna's wellbeing that she's willing to do anything and pray to anyone who might be listening

idea for a story: oh i have one i am not sharing. only jas @lesbiantahani knows about that one because i'm still delusional and convinced i will write it eventually. anyway it's a wilderness tai pov thing is all i will say

unpopular opinion: idk if i have any? can't think of anything that i think is Unpopular necessarily

favorite relationship: VANTAI oh my god. i remember exactly when i decided oh i Love them when i first watched the show and it was doomcoming with tai making masks for them both to wear. i think depending on how they handle both their characters in the next seasons it could be one of my favorite canon wlw relationships really. because they are both such interesting characters in their own right which.. doesn't happen often tbh like i very rarely find both characters in a canon lesbian ship interesting enough SEPARATELY. like yes their dynamic is amazing but they'd be just as interesting if they weren't together because. how do i put it. their complexity as characters doesn't rely on each other? which i think last time i even said was about root and shaw

favorite headcanon: that tai was there for shauna when shauna was giving birth to callie <3

hiya! thanks for asking!

1. Why do you like or dislike this character? Garu- i like how horny he is and how he pursues eiden. he's a sub that knows what he likes & acts on it. he is also very cute and i do appreciate it.

Karu- xD i kinda like how dumb, delusional, and feisty he can get. but also i really like his mysterious backstory and lore. i mean technically its part of garu too, but garu has amnesia. karu may or may not have amnesia, and possibly was the one fronting through all the traumatic backstory stuff. i will say, i did not like karu when he was introduced in ch 7, he was kind of annoying & cringe. (which btw, does anyone realize that eiden met karu 1st??? garu didn't appear until a while later. while i didnt time it, if we dont count garu's H scene, it feels like Karu had more screen time in ch7)

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

Karu - Oh my, I've written a lot of noncanon theories about him. My most unlikely to never happen headcanon though, is that one day Karu will fuck Eiden. or someone else. >:( even though in Japanese Karu is mostly complaining about being physically above Eiden rather than penetrating Eiden.

Garu- He can be super slutty and if Eiden wants a clan orgy, he is the 1st to volunteer. Or 3rd after Olivine and Morvay.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?

Like- shamelessly slutty horny subby Garu. Angsty horny Karu in heat who hates when he's horny. And selfcest/twincest. (i also like dead dove do not eat fics soooooo that entire can of worms) that one fic where garu & karu get railed by the entire clan? every phaerlax karu fic ever? the fic where karu fucks garu? :chefs kiss: But also, i like whenever a writer expands offscreen moments or remembers ~LORE~ details that most fans overlook. so like remembering that Garu&Karu are survivalists and can sort of fight.

Dislike- whenever they're *too* OOC.

i have to say, you guys are relentless, i only need to post one helaemond-related ask and it inevitably brings all the boys to the yard :))

don't get me wrong, i enjoyed reading your takes & i'm posting them under the cut for anyone who wants to read such rants, but, at this point, with so little content, i feel like there's not really a lot more i can personally add to fandom critique that i haven't already said (discourse and metas anyone can find if they go through my designated tag).

so i hope you won't feel offended & this is 100% a helaemond blog but i am going to pause the shipping wars topic for the time being unless something fresh hits our port or we get some kind of news / additional content (maybe like scripts? would love to see those!)

it's been more than a year since the season ended and we've made all the arguments we could possibly make, but we can't control if there are users who still rehash the same three talking points over and over

Anonymous asked: The kids theory was always a long shot and to be fair, their paternity doesn't really matter for the ship to happen. Helaemond can still have romantic feelings to each other without the kids being his, but like you said, if the ship doesn't get confirmed as canon antis and Aemondwives will all be like "We told you so!!! You were all delusional and you should've stopped shipping it!!!!"...okay? It still doesn't change the fact the writers most likely played with the possibility. Setting up potential storylines and not picking them up in a later season is something that has always been happening in TV especially when the team behind the show changes in between seasons like it happened with hotd this time (maybe those who speculated that Sapochnik came up with the idea of Helaemond were right?). Idk how many chances the ships still has if the leaks about B&C being at the end of episode 1 or in episode 2 are real (I doubt there can be a romance after the event), but whatever happens people won't stop shipping it. Non-canon pairings have always been a thing in fandoms and sometimes they may even be more popular than canon ones. It's still baffling to me how hated this ship has become in the fandom though.

Funny to point out that expectation isn't even the correct word to use here, as Helaemonds by and large were completely fine with no type of canonical confirmation, and were mainly excited for any Aemond and Helaena interactions we may get in the new season. It's a non-canon ship, people are drawn to all of the potentials they personally see in this dynamic, and how it can be explored in fan content. Shippers like this very rarely care about canonicity - not to say they wouldn't welcome it of course on the off chance it happened, but that is not a priority of their engagement in fandom.

Hey sweets, fellow Yandere hetalia writer here ( I also write for other fandoms too ). This is my own headcanon of a Yandere America, the 1p one and the 1p Nyo one too. I feel like the both of them has a southern accent, especially the male counterpart. I also headcanon them as the ones that will move their darling deep in the south in a big open secluded area where not a single soul lives for miles. So the darling won't be able to escape very easily. Even if they do, they won't be able to get help since the closes locals that lives near won't really believe them. They see Alfred and Amelia as some really good people who wouldn't hurt no one, plus they told them the darling has a tendency to be delusional and they're schizophrenic; so chances are they won't be in the best state of mind when the darling comes to them telling them these "lies". Alfred and Amelia also told the locals, if the darling comes to them and said something similar to what I said above; call them because the darling forgot " To take their medication ". But in reality when the first chance they get back to their darling, they'll punish them. So yeah Alfred and Amelia are manipulative like that, I'm a firm believer that their "Hero" and "Heroine" is a facade and a mask to hide their more calculated and sinister side. ( Also this goes for both separate and Poly. But if the darling was in a Poly-relationship with the BOTH of 1p Americas..... I pray for them )

First of all, I would like to say that your writings are beautiful, love them. And these headcannons are on point, would love to hear more from you 🤧🌸.

Regarding your headcannons I am gonna say that I whole heartedly agree, it makes sense for them to have southern accents since I headcannon them as being grown in that culture and see them loving the whole cowboy/cowgirl thing (I am not American so I am not sure how to phrase it) Amelia would probably have a valley accent.

I think they would only speak in standard American accent in front of other nations. Imagine them getting emotional/angry and their accents spill out. It’s kinda charming and humorous actually. They aren’t ashamed of it, it’s just hard to understand what they are saying sometimes (especially to new english speakers).

And they definitely call their lover variety of nicknames, especially if you fit the damsel stereotype, they would call you- sweetheart, peach, pumpkin, honey, sugar, cutie pie, baby doll, even darling (kinda like old southern ladies). They will only call you by your real name when they are really pissed probably.

No matter the nationality, they are going to treat you as their ‘American sweetheart’. They definitely own a huge plot of land in the countryside and have the whole mansion with the picket fence and all that ‘American Dream’ stuff. And that mansion definitely has top tier security due to Amelia’s paranoia.

Basically they planned the whole scenario and you are throughly damned in the countryside where the community is tightly knit and love these two American psychopaths in the middle of fucking nowhere.

I like thinking most of the few people around you, would be a closely knit society or a yandere cult themselves or mostly veterans who are very close with the nations or some other agents or so on. But they would definitely notify the nations if you do escape. And would probably think you aren’t quite right in the head.

Also depending on the darling, if they are very rebellious then they will be kept in an old fashioned house until they start to behave. If they are rather timid then the house would be modern and they would have certain privileges.

“Oh mah sweet peaches!”, Amelia exclaimed as she hugged you close to her chest, suffocating you as Alfred chatted up some made up illnesses with the closest neighbors you could find, the woman’s harsh hold on you a reminder of what was to come once you got home.

Btw if you did make them angry, you surely are in for it, one of them is a nightmare alone but the both of them? Hun you are done for.

Basically Amelia’s bat will come in handy although I feel as if she’s more emotionally abusive, making you feel like shit while Alfred is more physical and sexual as well. Amelia will probably cuddle with you afterwards the ‘lesson’, the other tending to your wounds and giving a lecture.

Also they will definitely deploy some security team or some agents to patrol around the area, time to time if they are really paranoid (prob Amelia) and put a tracker on you 🥰. And if that wasn’t enough there are security cameras watching over you.

Their hero mask is definitely a facade which goes away when you act out of the line, they might prefer being the villains if you don’t appreciate their ‘heroic acts’. They have a way to twist people with words and also their fists if it is necessary to do so.

These both can be pretty intense, sadistic and unstable so yeehaa you are screwed, not to mention they are pretty experimental and kinky af too, while also being a superpower who have powerful influences all around the western world.

Arrowverse Re-Watch: Arrow season 1, episode 1 “Pilot”

***Disclaimer: I recommend you read the tags before digging in to this review.

So I’m doing my annual Arrowverse re-watch (where I go back and watch all the Arrowverse shows in chronological order) and this year, I decided I would make these reviews/commentaries about each episode as I re-watch them.

So here goes... WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Oliver: The name of the island they found me on is Lian Yu. It’s Mandarin for Purgatory. I’ve been stranded here for 5 years.

Okay, don’t get me wrong, the main reason I love Arrow is because the characters are great and real and the stories are so interesting. And Stephen Amell is a fantastic actor, definitely one of the best in the Arrowverse...but hot damn just look at that body

I really don’t like objectifying anyone (of any gender), but art deserves to be appreciated and this body right here is art.

Okay I literally couldn’t find a gif of it anywhere, but that shot of Oliver looking into the mirror and the lightning flashes and you see him in the hood for like a split second...that shot...yeah I love that shot. Ugh it’s so amazing and just chilling.

Okay so apparently a lot of people hated the flashbacks...which I don’t understand??? But I loved the flashbacks. Mostly because I just love flashbacks in general. I mean, they weren’t always super interesting and a lot of the time the flashback storyline wasn’t really as interesting as the main storyline, but I still really liked the flashbacks. I actually kinda miss them sometimes.

TOMMY!

Like basically everyone else in the Arrow fandom, I miss Tommy sooo much. And I know, I know Colin has Chicago Med now, but I gotta be honest...I still haven’t quite gotten over that Tommy (any Earth version) wasn’t Vigilante. Like honestly, what was even the point of making him Vince (or Vinny they literally changed his nickname). God season 6 was such a fucking mess...but more of that later.

Okay so I have a bone to pick with this little moment where Oliver speaks Russian to Raisa. So like I guess it was supposed to demonstrate how Oliver has changed and all that...but like, Oliver’s not stupid. He wouldn’t be so careless as to speak Russian in front of his family and friends when he knows that they know he didn’t speak Russian before the island (thus revealing something about his time away when he’s usually so careful not to let things about that time slip).

I just don’t really like that moment because it seems a bit out of character for him.

Oliver: I didn’t realize you wanted to sleep with my mother, Walter.

Tommy: Have you noticed how hot your sister’s gotten?

It does kinda make me cringe a little though tbh. Although, full disclosure, the first time I ever watched this show, I did kinda ship them. I thought they had great chemistry. Better chemistry than Tommy and L*urel (but we’ll get to that later).

Tommy: So what’d you miss the most; steaks at the Palm, drinks at the station, meaningless sex?

Oliver: L*urel

Oh god here we go with this bullshit...can we just skip to the part where the writers realized that L*uriver was awful and they all jumped on the Olicity train?

Oh look it’s L*urel L*nce, the Queen Bitch of Starling City.

Okay that was an exaggeration...and I don’t actually hate LL, well at least, I don’t hate the idea of her. (Alright, strap yourselves in.)

I feel like LL was only the “real” LL in the first like 3 episodes of season 1 and then like the last 2 episodes before she dies. Every episode in between those she was like the off-brand version of LL. In the first couple episodes, she’s a pretty great character. She genuinely wants to help innocent people, she’s independent, she fights for what she believes in. Other than her being a totally soulless, cold-hearted bitch to Oliver, I actually liked her. But the whole Oliver drama really ruined her. And I blame the writers for that (namely the notorious misogynists Kreisberg and Guggenheim).

So first, they thought that “you cheated on me with my sister” was a great beginning to an epic love story. And then they made her totally cold to Oliver. Like look, as much as I dislike LL, I will always take her side on this issue. Playboy Ollie was a grade A fuckboy jackass and LL has every right to be pissed at him. But...then he spent five years in literal hell. Whatever mistakes he made before the island, he paid for them and then some. Now I know LL doesn’t know all the particulars of what went on in those 5 years, but she must’ve at least seen the movie Cast Away, right? I mean, from her perspective, Oliver spent 5 years completely alone on a deserted island. In that situation he would’ve had to teach himself to hunt and kill animals for food, he would’ve had to learn how to build shelters, he would’ve had literally no one to talk to or interact with for five years. She would’ve had to know that he probably has PTSD...and he comes back and she says “I’d hoped you’d rot in hell a whole lot longer than five years.” Like, are you fucking kidding me?! Why in the fuck would the writers think anyone would ship them with this kind of beginning? How are we supposed to have any sympathy for LL when she won’t even let Oliver try to apologize? And saying that he deserved what happened to him on the island? Jesus fucking Christ. God I couldn’t be more anti-L*uriver if I tried.

I get what (I think) they were trying to go for with LL, but they completely fucked up the execution.

LL: ‘Cause her body was at the bottom of the ocean where you left her. It should’ve been you.

“It should’ve been you.”

Okay bitch let’s go. No one talks to post-island Oliver that way. Ever. Oliver Jonas Queen is a gift to the world and I don’t care what dumbass Ollie Queen did you do not get to say that to Oliver. He has lost and suffered so much, too much. JFC where the fuck is Oliver’s unconditionally loving and supportive wifey when he needs her? Don’t worry bb, only two more episodes and you’re home free.

Mercenary Dude: What did he tell you, Mr. Queen?

Oliver: He told me I’m gonna kill you.

God yes where has this Oliver been the past couple years? Not the kill-happy Oliver, just the intimidating hardcore Oliver that can take down half a dozen guys single-handedly. That’s one of the things I hated about season 6 was how they wrote him so out of character just for plot. Ever since they introduced the newbies in season 5 they’ve written Oliver like he literally can’t even function without having like 5 other people out in the field with him. I don’t mind having a team (I love Roy and Dinah for example) but the team is just too big. (I’ll talk about that in much more detail when we get to seasons 5 and 6 [and that bullshit “civil war”])

Mercenary Dude: You’re delusional. You’re zip-cuffed to that chair.

Oliver: Not anymore.

*shivers*

God the MUSIC! Ugh I love the music in this scene when he’s taking down the kidnappers.

Oh yeah...and this incredible stunt...

And I love that you can tell that Stephen did all these stunts himself. But I especially love the above stunt because it’s so incredible, but like he just does it and it’s as if it’s no big deal because he’s just that physically fit.

QUENTIN!!!

Oh Quentin deserved so much better than all that nonsense the writers put him through in season 6. But I’m getting ahead of myself here.

I’m just so happy to see him! And to see the journey that he took in the first 4 seasons. (Seasons 5 and 6 [especially 6] weren’t the real Quentin. It had to’ve been one of his doppelgängers because the real Quentin is smarter than to be fooled by BS’ bs).

Ahh did you see what I did there?!

I love Raisa and I’m so happy they brought her back for season 6! I hope she returns again in season 7! I love the way she takes care of the Queen boys!

John Thomas Diggle is in the building ladies and gentlemen! This man is a gift and honestly I sometimes think we don’t deserve him.

Okay I kinda miss seeing Oliver in regular clothes. It seems like, ever since he became mayor, the only civilian clothes we ever see him in are suits. Don’t get me wrong, that man can fill out a suit, he looks delectable...especially when he’s just wearing a button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up (those arms!)

But I also kinda miss just seeing him in like jeans and a t-shirt. Maybe once he gets out of prison we’ll see more of that (since he won’t be mayor).

The whole workout/training sequence is just...

We were completely deprived of shirtless Oliver in season 6 and I just cannot stand for that. We better get like double the amount of shirtless Oliver in season 7 to make up for it.

Tommy: Now, by my rough estimate, you have not had sex in 1,839 days.

Yeah except for Shado and who knows? maybe Sara or even some random girl in Russia.

LL: I’m sorry about saying that you should’ve been the one who died. That was wrong.

Nice apology, LL (this is the real LL I was talking about earlier), but you’re gonna change your mind in like 2 episodes. @jbuffyangel calls this phenomenon “as the Lances turn” (referring to the crazy inconsistencies in how the Lances [especially LL] are written). And I love that phrase I’m totally gonna steal it because it’s so true, but I’ll discuss that more when it flares up in later episodes.

John: I would believe you, Mr. Queen, if you weren’t so full of crap.

John Diggle, ladies and gentlemen, taking none of Oliver’s shit since 2012.

Please, someone, give this man a medal.

Okay but did John and Oliver ever talk about Oliver putting John in that hold and knocking him unconscious? I don’t know why, but I kinda have this headcanon that they never actually did talk about it until like years later (probably after Oliver and Felicity returned from Ivy Town and Oliver and John made up) that John was just like “remember when you knocked me unconscious at your welcome home party”.

Okay I know that it’s Yao Fei’s hood, but I kinda wonder why Oliver didn’t get it lined with Kevlar from the get-go. I mean it’s not like he trained in medieval times and then time-traveled to the 21st century to start his crusade, like he’s aware that guns exist and that a lot of the people he planned to take down would use guns. I mean, he could’ve just gotten Anatoly or someone else in the Bratva, I’m sure they know people who know how to do that.

But at the same time, I guess it kinda fits with his whole persona and his plan. When he first starts out he’s not really waging a full-on war against all crime in the city, he’s just trying to take down the corrupt one-percenters and once he does that he hangs up the hood and moves on with his life. So it makes more sense that his suit is more “raw” because he’s more raw. He doesn’t have a team, doesn’t consider himself a hero. It’s just him and his bow and his list.

So I’m watching the scene where Robert kills himself and it makes me think of the scene in season 5 when Oliver is watching the video that Robert left him and Felicity comes along and is like “wow no prssure” and I’m like yeah! I mean, what a crazy and horrible burden to put on your child. I mean, there they are, Robert’s made all these mistakes, but instead of trying to fix these mistakes himself he’s like “nah I think I’m just gonna tell my son to right my wrongs and then blow my brains out right in front of him leaving him traumatized and completely alone”.

I just don’t get what Tommy sees in LL. I mean, throughout the season they just go on and on about how much Tommy and LL love each other, but I just don’t see anything between them. I mean what did they even have in common besides losing Oliver? I mean the only thing I kind of get about their relationship is LL encouraging Tommy to be a better person. Once again, it’s the idea of LL, but it didn’t really work out that way in execution.

And honestly, you know what the worst part about M*rlance was? Knowing that they only did it to create even more drama between Oliver and LL, but then the fact that the writers ended up dropping L*uriver in favor of Olicity made all that drama pointless. Now obviously I know that the writers didn’t know that L*uriver would be a total bust (though they should’ve) or what Felicity and Olicity would become at the time, but still...hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

Ah Moira, being shady af.

I miss her. I always loved her character and Susanna Thompson is such an amazing actress.

I miss her pretty much for the same reason I miss Tommy: the potential. Both Tommy and Moira never really got to see Oliver become the true hero that he is today. They never got to see Oliver fall in love and have his own family. I feel the same way about Quentin. They could’ve done some great things with him. I always wanted the writers to explore his relationship with Felicity more. They had a great father-daughter kind of relationship in season 2. And especially knowing that Felicity’s father abandoned her and Quentin had lost his daughter, I thought it made so much sense that they sorta would’ve adopted each other as a surrogate family. But no. Instead, the writers went with that BS bs (hehe I did it again). And now Quentin is dead; another great character wasted.

Ew, just saw something in the tags and thank the lord for the holy block and blockpost button. I don't know what's worse. BL dl ships that have no evidence whatsoever, or BL incest dl ships that have no evidence whatsoever supported by delusional ppl who don't care about the characters they supposedly 'love' in dl because putting bros together gets them hard. They strip away what makes those charas who they are and you can c+p new faces on them cause they are no longer who they are in canon.

Okay so im REALLY sorry. I wrote a LOOOONG winded ass post to respond with and my phone died. Im sorry if you feel like I neglected your points. You wrote me an essay and the logical thing to do would be to respond back with one but I wasn’t able to. Im SOOOOOOO SORRY. :’(

Basically it addressed that i totally agree with you and that the reason the fandom is so toxic is because people don’t understand how to see a new opinion or back up their headcanons with canon and that having headcanons and things like that are fine but protraying it as canon is not and forcing people to believe it and calling them names if they don’t, is also not acceptable. When people see a new substantial opinion that contradicts theirs they just hit block right away. But, if it’s really annoying you and you have a deep seeded problem with the issue they talk about for a reason and they aren’t open to talk with you about in a substantial way, that it’s fine to hit block. But i will never block a blog. Unless it is straight harassment with no substance.

This fandom hasn’t the damndest clue how to accept the fact that other headcanons exist. The toxicity rises when people argue about headcanons and the refuse to see anything else. They compare their two headcanons like absolute fact and nothing is resolved. The people in this fandom LOVE to just spew flaming shit and venom everywhere when something contradicts them. And that’s literally where the toxicity is born. Other than the occasional art thief. I really don’t care about that either. It’s so petty. People won’t change their ways after a stern talking to over the internet.

Anyways the fandom has a lot of SWJ type people which is fine. But policing people for thinking out of your line and calling them names is abysmal. Especially when you are in a famdom about Rape, Abuse, manipulation, misogyny, sexist men who probably are worse but who knows. Policing people for writing about gore and rape and abuse and whining because it triggered someone is unreal. It’s next level petty.

I also feel as though there is a lage disconnect between authors purpose and the western fandom. The western fandom is probably dramatically different from the Japanese fandom. And that wouldn’t suprise me one bit. In fact i’d like to hear from the Japanese audience what they think of the show and the western audience.

There’s a reason the fandom is dying and it’s 90% due to the fact that nobody is capable of staying true to the story. And that headcanons rule over canon.

Im here for translations and friends that can tell me why they like the canon characters. Im here for fan art and drama cd’s im here for your opinions of the games and their development. It’s weird how people can’t see why some people don’t like the fandom and leave. It’s not Diabolik Lovers anymore.
