MAAAAAAANNN. Why writing background characters with just one trait as their personality is so difficult, worse if they just have one appearance in the canon...

My struggle for my new fic is the question of why will a character do a thing!! Just anything!!! I literally have to write whole backstories for Sierra and Vince!!

No one told me that writing was this difficult...

The worst will come when I start writing chapter 3 where the pain fun begins...

Ughh I feel you. Underdeveloped characters are both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, you can shape and mold them however you like, using their barebones character as a simple skeleton to build off. On the other hand, YOU have to do all the work! My advice would be to maybe draw inspiration from other characters while crafting their personalities. I would HIGHLY recommend using Dirk from The Last Kids On Earth as an example of how to write a jocky jerk turned good guy.

Maaaaaaannn it has been a year. I apologize for the very unexpected hiatus, and to clarify that yes, I am still in it as I am not quite ready to get back into writing yet…a lot has happened peeps but I am definitely doing better now so let’s get to this question:

Ummmm at first I was kinda skeptical of a Joker movie, let alone a sequel to Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, being a musical but the more I thought about it the more I was like, ‘wtf do you mean it makes sense’.

Singing, dancing, the fast pacing, storytelling, anything that comes with a musical could totally fit into his psyche. And possibly having Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn? I’m excited af to see it

Granted that doesn’t mean I’m not on the fence about the project but am still pretty eager to see it. I hope you see this anon and I thank you for asking! ❤️
