Haku's so. . .normal, it's kinda cute? Lol. But yeah I'm pretty down for that! I wanted to share one of these things but held my tongue lolol but since you're asking here're some of the ones that were more interesting or otherwise appealing to me!

Affinity 4:

"...Hate to be the one to tell you this, but there's something untoward lingering behind you. Don't look!

Hah, I was just kidding. It was just a little dust, see?"

Affinity 10:

"Your parents ever tell you ghosts would get you if you don't go to bed?

For some reason Zenji's the only one who gets spooked when I say that..."

Affinity 11:

"All these geniuses and their lectures are giving me heartburn.

Wouldn't mind hearing the woes of someone long-suffering instead every once in a while."

(this sounds cruel but from what i can tell in Japanese he says he'd rather hear stories about hard workers/people who struggled from the bottom than prodigies. Basically he's more interested in, y'know, ordinary folks than people who're really special.)

"That video I took of Zenji today?

I'm just going to do some quick editing and post it. I don't know why he doesn't just focus on content that's more his style..."

Spring(March-May):

"I've been noticing more birds in the garden lately. Is that a bush warbler? A white-eye, maybe? A lot going on during spring in Hotarubi."

Boy knows his birbs.

"Must be nice being a ghost—no hayfever, and no hangovers. Spring really is the embodiment of human weakness."

He's former Frostheim! He does have a voice line that mentions not having spoken to Tohma recently too, but that he seems busy as usual.

"You're not going to wear a yukata?

Eh, I just thought it'd be cute to see. That's the kind of thing guys think about, don't know what else to tell you."

It reads like he's a little disappointed the girl he's into friends with isn't gonna wear something he thinks is cute lol (i'd see if he sounds disappointed in the audio but since i don't have haku's sr the game didn't download the audio for me lol)

Autumn(September-November):

"They say fall is the season of the arts, but I'm a really mediocre flute player. I'm about as uncultured as you can get."

Winter(December-February):

"You'll catch a cold dressed like that. It's already pretty chilly out there, you know...

Here, take my coat."

When you haven't logged in for at least a day, between the hours of 5am and 3pm(? I've gotten these messages with Taiga after being away for like two hours so i may be misunderstanding the condition):

Those're the ones that're most interesting to me I think! 'u' there are some that aren't up there though, like some of the ones that show him being responsible and worrying about his teammates haha. Hope you don't mind my little commentary here and there!

More tf2 ships lets go

Soldier x Demoman / Boots n Bombs

Starting off with a Demoman ship cause this man does not get enough love I think. These two enable each other's stupidity to an incredible degree. They're both geniuses in the art of reckless stupidity, and with their brains and hearts combined they could be making new inventions like "ultra turbo sticky-nade launcherator" and it flings them 8 miles in the air and they die instantly (but they both cheer and think it's awesome once they're revived and they do it again. Medic doesn't care, but he's getting a bit bored of piecing together the same two bodies over and over again). These two would become masters of destruction. I also can imagine them passed out on the couch on top of each other, or Soldier waking up to do drills at 4 am and Demo telling him to fuck off (Soldier can't help it, his love language is explosives and boot camp </3). I like them a lot.

Scout x Sniper / Speeding Bullet

I will admit, I am a bit of a Scout hater when it comes to ships... Actually I'm just a Scout hater in general. However, I do think the dynamic of "annoying little shit" plus "gruff weird guy" works. Scout is the type to press his partner's buttons for the funnies (although he does this with his friends as well) but given how he was in Expiration Date as well as the Cold Day In Hell comic (if I remember right), then he would be genuinely caring and considerate toward his partner's feelings. Scout would push his buttons, but an hour later he'd be splayed out on top of Sniper and rambling about his day. Sniper is more blunt and to-the-point with affection, I think. He'd bother Scout right back, of course, and he'd just as happily sit there and nod along to whatever the hell Scout is talking about. These two would stay up until 5 am together several nights in a row.

Heavy x Pyro / Bear Grill

Since it's such a rare pair, there's some debate on what the ship name actually is. "Russian Wildfire," and "Heavy Fire" are the alternatives I've seen after scouring the tags. I'd like to toss my own suggestion in with "Firing Squad," although that could probably work for other ships too. I personally really like the hc that Pyro is (maybe aro?)ace, and I think that works well with Heavy (I also hc it/they Pyro but any pronouns work for this lil guy tbh). Heavy would support his little maniac's vested interest in fiery homicide just ignore the fact that he says he's scared of them in Meet The Pyro that's not important right now, and I think Pyro would really like watching Heavy use Sasha (the muzzle flash would be really neat in Pyro Vision). Outside of battle, I can imagine Heavy taking care of his guns while Pyro talks to him and tells a (very muffled) story. Heavy would listen to it when it talks about all the wonderful things it sees during their battles, and Heavy would maybe defend it when the other mercs start talking about how terrifying it is... Maybe. They're still very concerning.

Engineer x Heavy

There is no damn posts about this. "Heavy Metal" is a slightly popular one but "More Gun" has been suggested a lot, as well as "Mechanical Literature." I personally like More Gun(s), and I honestly really like this ship, and I feel like it works really well for the same reason that they both work well with Medic--they're both relatively calm and amicable compared to the rest of the team. I feel like Engie and Heavy would be the parents of the team, telling people to go to bed before 3 am and not to explode things in the house (it doesn't work but they can try) (and Engie probably has been the source of one or two fires but not necessarily on purpose). These two would be sickly together. Engie'd be going "good morning Misha ��✨" and tap Heavy's shoulder until he leans down far enough to let Engie kiss him on the cheek, and Heavy would give a quiet happy hum as Engie whistles away and they make me sick. I love them so much.

I also think that Engineer would give Heavy some absolutely monstrous artillery as a gift. They absolutely enable each other's horrific acts of bloodshed. More Gun <3

Do you think petunia dursley deserve redemption?

Now a days many people say she was manipulated by Vernon or James insulted her( she saw james in harry) and they try to excuse her actions because she was woman.

After the war Petunia will divorce Vernon and harry will forgive her. They even say Petunia secretly always cared about Harry.

Please share your thoughts(only if you have time/want to ofcourse)

I think young Petunia is a character it's easy to feel compassion for.

I can't really blame her for not wanting Lily around or not wanting anything to do with magic.

As a child, she is quite close to her younger sister and she has to witness that younger sister all of a sudden going on an adventure without her because her sister has magic and Petunia doesn't.

I dare anyone to not feel resentful and envious in that situation.

And the fact that she is the older sister makes it worse because when Lily goes to Hogwarts they are still in that age where the younger sibling tends to admire and still wants to follow the older and out of the blue that dynamic radically changes.

When in DH we find out that Petunia sent a letter to Dumbledore asking to go to Hogwarts, my heart absolutely breaks for her every single time I re-read it.

And then when Lily enters the wizarding world, Petunia is left to her normal life, which is probably not that great. The Evanses aren't poor but they are definitely not rich. And she is still very much a girl in the 70s, not as bad as the 30s but not as good as today. All of this is to say that she is not left in a situation of privilege and luxury and therefore has nothing to complain about.

Petunia is also left to deal with lying to protect Lily's secret, probably having to say something about how she was sent to some special school for very talented kids, therefore having to make herself appear as the stupid sister. And so everyone would be super curious about this brilliant sister of Petunia, forcing her to live in Lily's shadow even outside of the house and with Lily in Scotland. It's also implied that Lily is the beautiful sister, which I'm sure doesn't help Petunia's resentment. It writes itself a scene from a summer in 1976, where Petunia's friends are eager to meet/see again her beautiful brilliant sister, and Petunia dies of envy.

It's true that Lily enters a world in which as a muggle-born she is subjected to discrimination but I doubt Petunia knew much about it:

Then Lily ends up marrying James Potter, rich, athletic, and good-looking. While Petunia marries Vernon. Tell me you wouldn't hate Lily even more. Lily marrying a wizard so soon after Hogwarts also adds to the separation of the two sisters into two different worlds. Other factors are the war in the wizarding world and the death of their parents.

And speaking of the devil, Petunia seems also resentful towards her parents for showing, according to her, a preference for Lily:

I was the only one who saw her for what she was -- a freak! But for my mother and father, oh no, it was Lily this and Lily that, they were proud of having a witch in the family!" She stopped to draw a deep breath and then went ranting on. It seemed she had been wanting to say all this for years. -Chapter 4, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, JK Rowing

If you notice, Harry doesn't know anything about Mr and Mrs Evans, one thing is him not knowing about the Potters but if Harry doesn't know anything about the Evans grandparents, it means Dudley doesn't either, it means Petunia doesn't talk about them, doesn't have photos of them. Frankly, seeing the relationship between the two sisters, the Envases mustn't have been geniuses at the whole parenting thing.

And for all of this, again, I can't blame her for hating magic, especially when you consider that the first and one of the only experiences with wizards she has is Snape [how hilarious it is that those two know each other?], someone that hates muggles and literally made a tree branch fall on her. Then there's the sister that seems to live to outshine her and Dumbledore who tells her she is not special (not in those terms obviously, he is quite kind actually, but how is a young girl going to perceive that letter if not like that?). By the time she meets James, she already hates magic too deeply.

This Petunia is someone that makes you wish life had been a little kinder to her, and maybe then she could have been better.

But the Petunia since she takes Harry in? She is a monster. What she does to Harry should have put her in jail, and there's no indication that it's Vernon who forces her to behave like that. Like there's no indication that Vernon and Petunia don't love each other. If anything, the fact that Vernon agrees to have Harry in the house despite hating him seems a testament to how much he loves Petunia.

Harry does seem to hate Vernon in particular but the more fitting explanation seems to be that Vernon is a man and therefore more intimidating.

As wrong as it would have been, I could have even forgiven Petunia if she had just been a little colder towards Harry and shown a preference for Dudley. She is substantially forced to take this boy into her house, a boy who has a genocidal maniac after him and therefore potentially puts in danger her, her husband and her son, and she is also forced to see the dynamic that brought so much pain to her repeat again. Dudley is Petunia, and Harry is Lily. Dudley is a muggle, and Harry is a wizard. It's pretty reasonable for her to hate the idea that one day her son will feel like she did. Maybe she was even planning to not have more than one child just to avoid that. Petunia hates Harry because she sees Lily in him, not James. James canonically never insulted Petunia, the only reasons Petunia has for hating him are that he is a wizard and Lily's husband. At best she may have reason to not find him particularly likeable:

The first meeting between Lily, her boyfriend James Potter, and the engaged couple, went badly, and the relationship nose-dived from there. James was amused by Vernon, and made the mistake of showing it. Vernon tried to patronise James, asking what car he drove. James described his racing broom. Vernon supposed out loud that wizards had to live on unemployment benefit. James explained about Gringotts, and the fortune his parents had saved there, in solid gold. Vernon could not tell whether he was being made fun of or not, and grew angry. The evening ended with Vernon and Petunia storming out of the restaurant, while Lily burst into tears and James (a little ashamed of himself) promised to make things up with Vernon at the earliest opportunity. This never happened. Petunia did not want Lily as a bridesmaid, because she was tired of being overshadowed; Lily was hurt. Vernon refused to speak to James at the reception, but described him, within James’ earshot, as ‘some kind of amateur magician’. -from Vernon and Petunia Dursley by JK Rowling

But what Petunia does to Harry goes way beyond anything that could have been excused. And of course, we are also forced to re-read a younger Petunia through that lens, you don't become someone that could do that to a child out of the blue. Was there really ever a time in which she could have been saved?

As for redemption, the personality that is presented to us is not remotely complex enough to consider a redemption arc. Nothing that could be considered in-character. Among the established core traits of her character, there are being envious, and full of hatred.

But even if Petunia decided to become a better person for who knows what spiritual awakening, I don't see why that should become Harry's problem. Each person may have a right to become a better one but that doesn't mean they stop being the person who did the bad things. Even if Petunia became a saint who volunteers in children's hospitals, she would still be the woman who abused Harry, mentally and physically, throughout the first two decades of his life.

I do think that Harry would probably make some sort of attempt to hear her out if that were the case (as much as I also think Ginny would absolutely hate the idea and refuse to let him go alone) because Harry is too compassionate for his own good, and shows more than once to have a problem when it comes to setting boundaries in favour of his own emotional comfort. But I also think it would cause him a great deal of pain and distress and they would never be able to be more than just civil to each other.

In light of that, but also as a general statement in regards to this morbid obsession a lot of people seem to have for redemption arcs, I'd like to say that there's no acceptable reason for the redemption of the abuser to become the punishment of the abused.

[I would advise reading the piece written by Rowling on Vernon and Petunia, there it's made very clear that they love each other]

Clavis’s 3rd Birthday Story

Clavis’ POV in purple

That time of the year's approaching again.

Clavis knows that Emma and the others are up to something this year for his birthday. After the surprise from the previous year, he can't help but wonder what they have planned this year. He has to resist the urge to follow Emma into town and instead throws himself into his official duties. He doesn't even pay Cyril any mind when the knight points out that he's smiling. Every day feels like he's on cloud nine. That is, until a certain letter arrives.

Gilbert: "Hi Clavis, how have you been? I've been good. Today, I'm scouting a fortress by the border. Your territory's just next door. By the way, it'll be your birthday soon, right? I'm not so heartless as to not celebrate a friend's birthday when it's coming up. So this year, I wanted to give you a present. Ah, of course I'll be giving you the present on your birthday. I wouldn't do something as uncouth as give it to you before then. I hope you'll like it. Your secret friend, Gilbert"

Just what the heck is Gilbert thinking? Clavis is going to shred the letter into confetti. He asks Cyril where he got the letter and the knight replies that it got mixed in with the other letters addressed to him. Perhaps planted by a spy. Clavis will suggest cleaning up the castle to Chevalier. He'll never understand the minds of geniuses. Can't believe the World's Calamity is going to give him a birthday present. What a way to ruin his mood. The worst case scenario, one that involves Emma, comes to mind. It's possible that Gilbert will kidnap her and give her as a present.

Cyril: Have you decided what to do? Clavis: Yeah, I'm going to need a shovel. Cyril: Yes, a shovel's a must! Wait, shovel?

Clavis plans to dig a pit for Emma and a pit for the court chefs. Regardless of what the World Calamity's planning, Emma needs to be protected at all costs. He tells Cyril to go to Emma, he'll take care of the rest. Cyril gives a salute and runs off.

The "Birthday Damage Control Committee" consisting of the Rhodolite townspeople that have been frequent victims to a certain someone's pranks, Jin, Luke, Yves, Rio, and Emma have banded together to make a lot preparations for said person's birthday. Differnt teams check in with her and a regular at the bookstore gives Emma a letter to give to Clavis. They must not let their guard down until that day comes because there's no telling if "you know who" will fall for their trap this year.

Emma: Everyone, let's keep our guard up until the end! Birthday Damage Control Committee members: Yes!

Emma's convinced that if she keeps it up, they'll succeed.

And yet...

Emma finds herself in a pit trap. When she had returned to the castle, she found a letter in her room written in Clavis' handwriting asking to meet the gardens that night for a date. Though she had told everyone to stay alert, she ends up slipping.

Luckily, there's a net to cushion her fall, but the depth makes it hard for her to climb out by herself. She hears laughter coming from above and sees a smiling Clavis bathed in moonlight.

Clavis: Did you let your guard down my lovely fiancée? Emma: What do you think you're doing?! Clavis: It's my love trap of course. Emma: This is just a pit!

Clavis laughs and asks for forgiveness. He's just in a good mood because his birthday's approaching.

On the dawn of Clavis' birthday, he brings Emma to his trapped villa where they'll be able to have some alone time together. Emma exclaims that they already had their fun yesterday. Just remembering the things that happened because she was stuck in a net makes her blush and she hides her face. Clavis says they'll be doing more since it's his birthday after all. But there's a place Emma wants to take him to today. Too bad for her though, she should've taken action first. Emma wonders if he's found out about their evil plan (present).

Suddenly there's a commotion outside. Looks like whoever they are arrived sooner than Clavis thought.

There's an angry mob gathered outside of the villa. Yves yells that he knows Clavis is hiding Emma in the mansion. Rio suggests storming the villa and the townspeople agree. Luke tells everyone to calm down; Clavis wouldn't hurt his own fiancée but Yves says she's in danger because she's his fiancée. Especially because it's his birthday. Luke looks to Jin for an explanation.

Ever since Clavis was a kid, he's always wanted to be celebrated. He'd play pranks for attention. As he grew older, his pranks increased and now he attacks anyone in the country without question. Rio adds some incidents he had heard about relating to Clavis' birthday pranks. Jin says that now, he'll be focusing all his attention on Emma. What does Luke think will happen? Luke replies that it should be the same as usual since Clavis has been pranking Emma all the time since they got together. Yves says that the birthday pranks are special. There's a whole set of pranks involving multiple things. Looks like Luke's convinced now. The mob moves to rescue Emma. And they fall into a trap.

Meanwhile, said person's been watching the whole thing from a window. There were at least 200 people rushing the villa. She can't believe news of her disappearance got around so quickly, but perhaps Clavis intentionally told people. Yep. But he didn't think the plan would work out so well. And having Emma by his side, Gilbert can't do anything now.

Clavis wonders who'll be the one that saves Emma. She begs him not to take things further and cause more damage. Why does he want to do this on his birthday. Clavis pins her against a wall and asks what she thinks. Time for a secret weapon. The way she looks up at him takes his breath away. But as a gentleman, he has to restrain himself.

Emma calls him cruel. Isn't being pranked supposed to be her privelege? She pouts at him and he tries to soothe her with a brief kiss. His fiancee's just too cute. Wait, is he blushing? Clavis says he never thought that Emma would get jealous but Emma exclaims that she isn't. He says that there's no need for her to be embarrassed. If she celebrates him with everything she's got, he'll let the mob go. Of course, he doesn't want a normal celebration. He wants one only she's capable of doing. Now it's time to show her love. Emma agrees to his request. First, she'll need to borrow his kitchen. Actually, before that, she grabs Clavis by the lapels and presses a kiss against his cheek and asks that he goes easy on everyone. Restraint! Restraint! He's a gentleman! Clavis promises to only play his serious pranks on her. Like a gentleman, Clavis takes Emma's hand and leads her away.

Cut to Emma in the kitchen, in Clavis' lap, yelling in frustration. She had baked Clavis a cake, sang him a birthday song, gave him a kiss, and even let him touch her legs to his heart's content. Her legs are smooth to the touch, just the right amount of elasticity, a beautiful shape, and elicits adorable reactions whenever he touches them... She's done everything she can think of to celebrate his birthday but the screams outside never stopped. What else does she need to do?! It's not like she's not enjoying celebrating Clavis though. Clavis asks if she's giving up so soon. The fate of the people outside depends on her. He's satisfied, but he's being greedy.

Clavis: No "that" this year? Emma: "That"? Clavis: Yes, "that". Emma: What's "that"? Clavis: "That" is "that".

What did they do last year? The childlike sparkle in his eyes makes Emma unable to ask what "that" is. But it's something he clearly wants. She tries to remember what they did last year. His present's in the castle so she can't give it to him at the moment, but he knows that so that's not what he wants right now. Incidentally, he's been wearing the ascot tie she embroidered for him almost every day. Emma continues to think through the events from last year and comes up with something. When she had showed Clavis how much she loved him with her entire being. Just thinking about it heats up not only her face but also her body. she doesn't tell Clavis what currently on her mind and instead tells him that she knows what "that" is. But she won't give it to him. Clavis stops mid-sentence and asks why she'd deprive him of this once-in-a-year pleasure. Emma replies that if she does give him her love now, it'd feel like she was doing it to help others. She'll give it to him after because it's so important.

Clavis covers his face and mutters that he forgot to prepare himself for how she kills him slowly with the agony she puts him through.

Clavis: I'm currently dying. Emma: Please live. We can't celebrate if you're dead.

Looks like she convinced him...? Calmdowncalmdowncalmdown. He's more relaxed now, now hiding behind his usual smile. Clavis agrees to disarm the trap because of her loveliness. But his expectations have increased. She can't give up now.

Clavis then leads Emma to the living room where she all the people caught in a trap are gathered. Looks like a party's going on since the people are enjoying delicious food, alcohol, and honey. Emma asks Clavis to explain. It's his birthday party. Emma asks if he's hosting his own birthday party. Yep, he thought he'd surprise everyone with a surprise after they outwitted him last year. Of course, he'll be receiving her presents later, he whispers to Emma but he's more of a guy that likes to give rather than receive.

Emma can't take it anymore. She swallows the words about to spill out and hugs him instead. She squeezes him tight. It's frustrating how even though it's his birthday, everyone else is getting bamboozled.

Emma mutters to get ready for tonight.

After the party, the two return to Emma's room in Rhodolite castle because hers is the one with a bed. He's in such bliss it's as if the letter from Gilbert never happened. Emma appears to be in a good mood. Her adorableness and post-bath look has Clavis check if his nose is bleeding. Nope. Clavis asks if she's falling even more in love with him. she answers that she is. She then kneels in the middle of her bed and pats her knees. With her approval, Clavis immediately gets on the bed and sets his head on her lap.

Their current position makes her blush. She really likes the view of his face from above. Emma stutters out a "happy birthday" and can't bring herself to look directly at him. But it looks like Clavis has the same reaction. It's embarrassing for the both of them. Clavis clears his throat to ease the awkward tension and brings up that it should be time for "that" now. Emma runs her hand through his hair to calm herself but he takes her hand and pulls her closer before guiding her hand to where he'd like to be touched on his head. She's ready to start now.

Emma: Everyone had to deal with Clavis' terrible birthday prank this year...but it seems like we all had a good time. I got to see your true self and...I liked that. Clavis: More Emma: I...I love you? Clavis: More Emma: I love you so, so much! Clavis: Not quite there yet Emma: I'm getting this sense of deja vu, but fine!

Emma takes a deep breath and meets his expectant gaze.

Emma: He's the one that tries to look good, causes trouble, and wants to be celebrated the most on this whole continent...Still, I love Clavis who's also the most earnest, sincere, handsome, and actually has a good personality more than anyone else!

Emma gives Clavis a peck on the lips and he pulls her closer by the back of her head. Every time Emma expresses her love for him, he feels just a bit more confident about himself. There's no better birthday present. After the two make out for a while, Emma asks him to warn her first because her heart can't handle it. Clavis tells her that it's still not enough. Emma kisses him again. Clavis feels like he's getting greedier with each birthday. He just loves her too much. Emma's glad and lets him do as he pleases. He's in for a long night. He pushes her down onto the bed but Emma stops him with a hand on his chest. There's still something she needs to give him. She give him a letter that was on the side table. He wished it was a love letter, but the moment he saw "To Clavis", his blood ran cold. The handwriting... He asks Emma what this letter is. She replies that it was a regular at the bookstore. He had asked her to give it to him.

Oh how he hates geniuses. Clavis hides how upset his is with a suspicious smile and opens the seal.

Gilbert: “Happy birthday, Clavis. Thanks to me, you got to spend the whole day with the little bunny this year. You enjoyed yourself and had fun. That is my present to you. By the way, there was no ill will behind your friend's congratulations so don't try to find a hidden meaning, okay? Even though you're royalty, you take care of my precious things without ruining them. Stay the way you are. I have eyes on you. Don't become the kind of person I'd want to kill okay? Your best friend, Gilbert. P.S. My birthday's on December 21st.”

What's with that guy? Was that all? No matter how many times he rereads the letter, he can't find any other meaning to it. He tells Emma that everything's fine when she asks him what's wrong. He tosses the letter aside, out of Emma's sight. It's annoying how he did exactly as Gilbert had planned. But he can be the happiest guy in the world just by being with Emma. He tells her that he loves her so much that he can't contain himself.

Ninjago post crystalized HC

-Therapy (I was considering only writing that and posting lol)

-Everyone starts finally settling down and a couple of the ninja are even looking into college courses since a lot of their technical skills revolve around fighting and they're kinda sick of that.

-I like to think Jay and Nya open up a mechanic shop together with some silly name like Electric Wave or something along those lines.

-Pixal starts working with Cyrus Borg again

-I think Zane should be an EMT or something like that, since he can asses wounds and work really quickly and has endless knowledge in his database so I think it fits

-Cole probably takes a bit to figure out what he wants to do but I could honestly see him going into psychology since he's pretty empathetic and a chill dude (bestie literally made friends with a snow monster and some dude who'd been a ghost for centuries I think he's got the skill)

-Kai was kinda hard ngl but I think that since he's seemingly ending up with Skylor maybe he helps out at the noodle house? Honestly I'm not sure Kai is tricky for me.

-Lloyd goes into law to some degree, HERE ME OUT, he totally seems like the type who still wants to defend innocents and those who have been wronged and what better way to do that (that doesn't involve ninja powers) I could totally see him fighting so hard for like kids and stuff since his childhood was pretty jacked up too.

-Wu and Misako probably start adventuring again, though more for fun and not looking for answers to anything, it's just to learn more about the world.

-I think it would be funny if Garmadon got a painfully mundane job in an office, like a data entry person or some shit like that would be so funny (like imagine "Oh you need that done? Yeah go ask Folson" and then you find out "Folson" is fucking GARAMDON who's just like chilling at his desk with coffee like "What do you want?")

-Lloyd reconnects with some of his old friends and while they're still a little bedazzled by him but still

-The ninja probably do a couple interviews after Crystalized kinda finally sharing how they really feel and people are shocked how scared their hero's have been this entire time.

-The ninja totally compare scars, like "Dude I got my face scar from literally being turned into a ghost, it's cooler than yours" or "Are lightning scars cool if I accidentally did it myself?"

-Lloyd starts reconnecting with his father again and slowly but surly the man Garmadon once was begin to shine through bit by bit, not fully but clearly he's there.

-Cole helps with reconstruction once his powers start coming back

-They all meet up when they can to do something fun together

-In addition to the last prompt: Sometimes they need to get some energy out and they're like "I need to fight" and they get together to absolutely pummel each other to get the fight out until the next time (Zane has totally recorded a couple of these fights, a particularly flasy one between Kai and Cole is in fact on the internet and people go nuts over it)

-They all pick up hobbies to relax a little: Kai-wood burning Lloyd-felting Zane-baking (he still does it to wind down) Cole-crocheting Nya-knitting (her and Cole fight over which is better by) Jay-skating Pixal-drawing

-Garmadon get's more plants, him and Vinny's new place has the nicest front and back garden and the oxygen in their house is CRISP

-Cyrus Borg kinda adopts Zane like "I already have one nindroid child, what's one more?" they totally have family dinners and I'd like to imagine Pixal's partner (idk who but it's not Zane cause like sibling dynamic> anything) and Cole just kinda siting there with three super geniuses and the two are just like "I forget what I have for lunch sometimes"

-Everyone starts to heal and the world is better... at least until this new show (whether I think of it as cannon is dependent on how much I like it lol)

Jazz time, baby!

Jazz was always my favorite character, I think that she added a lot to the show, so she's more or less unchanged, apart from some tweaks to fit her into the slightly different dynamics of the series.

Kindhearted and emotionally intelligent, but sometimes a little self-important, Jazz is the only member of Danny's family who knows that he's a trans boy. However, she does not know about Danny's ghost half at the start of the series, because while Danny confides in her about his struggles in the closet, he has a pretty good reason to not trust her with his ghost identity.

See, while Jazz does everything she can to support her brother, she doesn't always support him in the way he needs, and can be a little pushy if she feels like she knows better. In particular, in the start of the series, she is nagging Danny about when he's going to come out to their parents. Counter-intuitively, Jazz's desire to help her brother has made her somewhat tunnel-visioned. The way she sees it, the stress he feels is because he doesn't know how his parents would react, so the obvious solution to her is for him to come out and then deal with whatever happens after. She doesn't understand that Danny just isn't ready yet, and that it's okay to not be ready, and Danny has reasonable paranoia that she's going to out him to their parents to get it over with. While Jazz would never do that, she hasn't made herself trustworthy enough for Danny to believe that.

Jazz: How long are you going to keep this secret from our parents??? Danny: Which one? Jazz: What? Danny: what

Jazz means well, but needs to learn that her perspective isn't always the right one. She also doesn't get along with Sam too well, as she's the sort of person who believes that you can still work within the system to make progress, while Sam wants to dismantle the system. A huge part of her arc in the story will be to learn that change doesn't come from playing by the rules, and that there are many things in the world she just won't see or experience due to her place of privilege, and that she needs to make a concerted effort to lift people up rather than try to "save" them. Like in the OG show she'll learn about Danny's ghost half by mistake, without Danny knowing she knows, and this will be the catalyst for her to start trying to see things from his point of view, as she wonders why he wouldn't tell her. Sam will also radicalize her, and the two will end up becoming good friends late in the story.

Also like in the show Jazz won't believe in ghosts at first and harbors a lot of resentment towards her parents for not pursuing a type of science she considers to be useful, especially after the accident. Eventually it'll be too obvious for her to ignore the existence of ghosts, but even when it turns out they were right, Jazz can't let go of how she feels about her parents right away.

The Fenton's have always been geniuses in one field or another, but Jazz is the only member in the family who isn't interested in science. She studies therapy and thinks of herself as good enough to basically be a therapist already (she is not correct,) but begins to develop a fascination with ghosts and how they work both biologically and psychologically. She is deeply embarrassed by this, worried that her parents have started to "rub off on her," and does her best to hide it, but secretly begins to journal and catalogue certain ghosts that she witnesses, trying to figure them out. She is off-the-mark with a lot of her classifications, but makes an equal amount of useful observations and theories, and once she joins Team Phantom proper her research will become extremely helpful.

As for Vlad... I have thoughts and ideas for him, but I wanna wait a bit before I share it all... 😉

Oof okay, work pissed me off and I've been thinking about the Bad Kids a lot so here we go:

This season is so good at capturing the sheer Rage of realizing that being exceptional gets you NOTHING.

You can be fucking perfect on paper. You can be LITERAL ROCK STARS AND SAINTS AND GENIUSES. You can go to Hell and save the world and people who didn't do a fraction of what you've done will say it's not fair to them.

This season has been poking at one of my sorest spots since it started, but today I've boiled over.

Allow me to share a personal rant for reference

I am a person who has always been just kinda...good at shit. I learn quickly, I can synthesize information and put it to use very easily. Generally, if I've done something once, I never need to be shown how to do it again. I don't tend to need a lot of help with things - most of my best learning is done through me teaching myself things. I move fast, I usually get things right on the first try.

This isn't meant to be a brag, it's just the fact of how my brain works.

So, watching my fucking coworkers, the ones that I HELPED, the ones that had to fail three times to get their paperwork to even go through the submit portal, get fucking BONUS POINTS is infuriating. They get fucking speed tracked while I sit here and wait for someone to get around to my submission - the one I completed and submitted DAYS earlier than theirs. The one that was approved on the first try and dropped onto a desk, never to be acknowledged again. I did it the day we got the assignment. I buckled down, I did the work, and I turned it in.

So why is their trying more reward worthy than my doing?

Why are we acting like this approach is more fair????

"Yeah, the entire family pressured you to go to be a perfect student and go to college. No, your brother doesn't have to graduate high school - but at least he tried!"

"Yeah, you did 80% of the work on this project but at least they showed up for the presentation!"

"Sure, you've done everything in your power to pursue your career of choice, you've followed every fucking step anyone has ever said you had to take to get there - unfortunately not everything works out. Oh, her? Well, she knows a guy who has a friend who's just going to hand her a job. No, she's not qualified for it at all!"

Over and over I've been told not to be too good too fast because all it gets you is more work and less reward. I should have learned this already.

I just don't know how many more times I can go to the job I got for displaying skills and abilities I was specifically asked to have, just for some guy to tumble in thirty minutes late with no clue what's going and get a fucking parade just for showing up.

And please, can we let go of the assumption that more time spent = more effort applied?

Bad Geniuses AU

Posting my fanfic draft based on Bad Genius the Movie and Bad Genius the Series. (Intro Song: "Follow Me")

Summary: Flug infiltrates P.E.A.C.E. academy to get intel on the heroes but ends up helping GoldHeart cheat on an exam and they start a business together to help heroes cheat on exams in exchange for money.

This fanfic explores two types of geniuses:

Those who are smart at studying (Flug) and those who are smart at influencing people (GoldHeart).

During his high-school years, Flug infiltrates P.E.A.C.E. Academy as a part time student to get intel on the heroes.

Being a genius he can balance both his studies at Black Hat Institute and P.E.A.C.E. Academy at the same time.

He decides to join the tutoring program in order to gain more connections with heroes. That's where he meets GoldHeart, one of the students who needs tutoring.

Against all odds, despite their own secrets, and contrast in personality, the end up becoming friends and Flug ends helping GoldHeart cheat on a pop-quiz by secretly passing is eraser to GoldHeart with all the answers.

GoldHeart then convinces Flug to help him and his other "friends", The Golden Rule Members cheat on the upcoming mid term exams in exchange for money.

Flug: Alright, here's our deal. In exchange for cash payment, I will give the six of you answers for 13 subjects for the mid term exams.

GoldHeart: Flug, there are seven of us.

Flug, smiles: You are my friend GoldHeart, just think of it as a 6 for 1 promotion.

After the success of cheating of the mid terms, they start a business together to help other heroes in the school cheat on exams in exchange for money, which is more complicated but more profitable than just cheating amongst a group of friends in the same class.

Flug would answer the exam and distribute the answers. While GoldHeart will help Flug find clients for their business. And both of them would come up with strategies and plans to distribute the answers as well as alibis and reasons if they were ever caught and split the profits accordingly.

Both of them have their own reasons Flug wants to create the next generation of incompetent heroes while GoldHeart wants to make him, his Golden Rule Members and followers move up the ranks to become the top heroes at P.E.A.C.E.

Secrets become too much for Flug and he comes clean to GoldHeart that he is secretly a Villain.

Of course GoldHeart is furious, but after he calms down, he tries to convince Flug to leave Black Hat Institute to become a real hero.

Flug says that it's not as easy saying that what the school hates more than heroes are villains who become heroes. So they will definitely hunt him down if he transfers for real.

GoldHeart says he will do whatever he can to protect him because he cares about him and doesn't want to lose him and Flug says he feels the same way but GoldHeart has no idea what he is up against, before he leaves.

Flug thought of it long and hard. Should he become a real hero, which he thinks is not too bad, with a group of people who actually appreciates him or continue to pursue his passion of evil science to achieve his dream of becoming a villain in a community that always bullies and treats him like garbage.

But if he leaves, he will incur the wrath of the school...

Flug goes the next day to GoldHeart to tell him his decision. He says for now has to play according to The Black Hat Institute school rules and graduate. The school doesn't care about what students do after they graduate. So they will pretend the revelation never happened and will just do what they are doing as per normal until then. GoldHeart agrees.

And that's not all. Flug says he will have to be a Villain after he graduates to avoid suspicion. During that time he can gather Intel on the Villains (such as how they operate and their secret dealings with Black Hat Organization and locations) and relay as much information to GoldHeart in order for him to gain the upper hand amongst the Villains and for him to be the top hero. When that happens and the time is right he will redeem himself.

GoldHeart: What if we have to fight each other?

Flug, smirks: Then just make it look convincing, who knows maybe we will end up becoming Arch-Enemies in the meantime.

That gives GoldHeart an idea. He adds on to Flug's plan and says that P.E.A.C.E. has a rule that a hero with an assigned Arch-Enemy, can decide how they should deal with the assigned Arch (such as their punishment and how they want to defeat them in battle.) without any outside interference with P.E.A.C.E.

So it would be easier to control the situation if they were Arch-Enemies, as GoldHeart can help Flug by making sure he does not get in too much trouble with P.E.A.C.E., make the act look more convincing, and help with Flug's redemption. As it would seem more natural if a villain was redeemed by his Arch-Nemesis. Flug agrees.

Flug agrees but asks GoldHeart how can they ensure Flug will be assigned by P.E.A.C.E. as GoldHeart's Arch-Enemy?

GoldHeart says the easiest way a villain is assigned as a hero's Arch-Nemesis is to attack the city the hero is assigned to. Especially in places that pushes P.E.A.C.E.'s buttons, which GoldHeart will relay to Flug. Flug agrees.

Have more Biddleford AU!

This is in specific reference to my AU where Fiddleford tried meditation instead of inventing the memory gun, and consequently met and began to worship Bill.

So, I opened that piece of fanart with Fiddleford reaching out a hand to Ford, and telling him that he was welcome.

"Why," you might ask, "is he welcoming in Ford? Doesn't Ford already worship Bill?

Hehehehehe, that's where the fact that Bill is extremely manipulative comes in. More under the cut.

So, in the ficlet that I included with that picture, you'll note that Bill set himself up to be the golden magical savior that would protect Fiddleford from evil spirits and bad luck. Well, Fiddleford falls for it and he falls for it hard. Bill can be very charming and convincing when he wants to be. (...sort of. He does a lot of, like, giving people upsetting gifts and terrifying compliments and stuff. You kind of have to be a little unhinged already to fall for Bill-style charm, basically. Fortunately our pteratron-building man is.)

Fiddleford now belongs to Bill. Great. You'll remember that Ford is not actually able to build the portal himself - he needed help from Fiddleford because his math wasn't strong enough. Okay, so Bill was using Ford to build the Portal, and Ford was using Fiddleford... but now Bill can use Fiddleford directly, so he has two geniuses under his thumb. Even better: Bill had to manipulate Ford by keeping him isolated and paranoid. Fiddleford, on the other hand, we know to be charismatic and sociable. We know that he tends to seek out people who are suffering from problems similar to his and that he can get them to open up. He's also very convincing, and can convince them he has a solution to their troubles. Ivan, whose recruitment we see in Journal 3 and who is the eventual leader of the Society of the Blind Eye, is a great example of this.

So, now Bill has two patsies: a genius nerd who's convinced everyone is out to get him, and a big-hearted but very odd duck guy who wants nothing more than to help people. The second one, the charmer, has a habit of proselytizing.

And, oh, how Bill loves to be worshiped.

So, he still needs and wants Ford, but why would he settle for Ford? Bill starts occupying more and more of Fiddleford's time with the cult, and while he's at it, he himself start to breadcrumb - and eventually ghosts - Ford. It sends Ford into a panic. Ford is getting increasingly stressed and overworked, he's barely making progress, his only friend is spending almost no time with him and acting weird even when he's around, and his muse has seemingly abandoned him. Oh, and by the way: Bill hasn't told Ford that he's in contact with Fidds, and has instructed Fidds to keep the secret.

One day, Bill returns to Ford's dreams.

He's snide. He's cold. He asks for progress, and then makes like he's going to leave. Ford leaps at him, begs him to stay, asks what happened, and what he did wrong.

What are you talking about, Sixer? Aren't you doing fine without me? I thought you were some kind of genius. Well, I'm - I could never do as well alone as with your guidance, Bill! You're my muse! Oh, yeah. That. What is it? What's wrong?

Bill goes on to point out that, well, yeah, Ford was fine, but Bill was really starting to feel lead on. Bill's not just some broad you can expect to keep around forever and never bother pop the question. Like, Bill's a god, not just a """MUSE,""" and it was just kinda getting old, right? Like, you're clearly fine without me, so whatever. What? What's wrong? No, seriously, it's fine if you don't want to commit, you have commitment issues since you abandoned your brother and all. What, you want another chance? Seriously? I'm not really convinced. Oh? Okay, fine. Fine. We'll talk it out. But you are on thin ice, Sixer.

So, Ford is given some pretty strict instructions for the next couple of days, and then he's sent to meet up with Bill's other worshipers.

Ford didn't know about the other worshipers, and he's really embarrassed about this. (Never mind that they didn't exist.) He's angry, he's frustrated, but most of all he's desperate for approval.

So he goes, and he meets...

Fiddleford.

Bill's been talking to Fiddleford. Bill explained everything to Fiddleford. He explained that Ford is coming, and he's to be the co-ruler of the cult or Fiddleford's right-hand man, but that he needs to behave himself. Ford hasn't always been totally committed, Bill explained, but he's being given another chance.

But it's okay! Fiddleford believes in Ford! Fiddleford one hundred percent is vouching for him, Ford's such a swell guy, always goes the whole way in everything. Fiddleford would never doubt Ford, and together, they're going to prove to Bill that Ford's serious.

Ford... isn't convinced. Ford is having doubts. But Ford has to make sure to never, ever, ever voice those doubts, because that would be proving that he has doubts, and that he's just like Bill was afraid he would be, even though Fiddleford trusts him unconditionally like the good friend he is.

Anyway in this AU the world ends

Stranger Things AU where Chrissy doesn't die (why? Because I love her and she deserved better okay)

How does Chrissy not die? Stick with me on this one folks as I'm sure this will have plot holes but I'm sleep deprived and don't care! So when Chrissy goes to Eddie's trailer, Eddie puts on one of his records to give him some confidence, Chrissy is cool but he still feels pretty on edge dealing his product to "The Queen of Hawkins High." He puts on the newest record he got: Metallica Master of Puppets.

Chrissy is waiting for him to find what she asked for but can't help but listen to the music and honestly she didn't think she would like it but she did. She really did. But Eddie comes in and sees her staring at his record player and thinks she is annoyed by his music and stutters out apologies as he turns it off and continues in his search. She of course gets pulled into her hallucination and Eddie is freaking out but when she starts to levitate he bumps into his record player and it starts playing his album again.

Chrissy hears the song and it saves her, she didn't know it had become her favorite song that fast or in that moment, all she knew is that she heard it and she ran.

The song was Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

Her and Eddie are freaking out when she snaps out of it and they don't know what to do but Eddie knows a group of little geniuses and tells Chrissy and look she's desperate. She told Eddie what she saw and that she heard the music and look Eddie may have been held back but he is smart and hey if the music helped then he's all too happy to lend Chrissy his Walkman with the cassette of Master of Puppets.

The other victims happen and some other third person idk who, maybe one of Jason's friends.

Anyways Chrissy gets close with the whole Party and though she's scared she wants to help with the plan. Max offered to be bait but Chrissy firmly shut that down and offered to be the bait, her and Max got pretty close. She doesn't admit that she sees Max as a little sister.

Eddie and Chrissy are the next Platonic Soulmates with a capital P. "Eddie, my Dear Edward, I love you. You know I love you, but for the love of all that's Holy go shower. You think Steve's attracted to the stench of weed, the leftover smell of room of nerds and whatever you stepped in during today's lunch speech?"

Steve and Chrissy are bffs, former mean girls who love to gossip. "Steve you will never guess who is dating who now after just breaking, hint it's teachers not students."

Chrissy and Robin have a tentative friendship where Robin may or may not have developed a crush on Chrissy and Chrissy appreciates how real Robin is and is always ready to compliment the girl. "Oh I remember you worked at Scoops! You really pulled that uniform off, not many can do that believe me."

Chrissy lives! And gets adopted by the group and yeah her parents are assholes but that's just another thing for her and Steve to bond over. Sometimes she stays over at Steve's just to spite them.

Chrissy lives and learns to be comfortable with who she is while also learning who she wants to be with this ragtag group of amazing people who fought for her, with her, and would do so again without hesitation.

Random thoughts on We're in Love (or "Your average Italian girl has had an awful week and Boygenius' love saves her ass again"):

So, I've been listening to the Boys and to their solo stuff the whole week (for the past 5 months, to be honest... but who's counting?) and I've been going crazy lately for the beauty of We're in Love.

I think we can all acknowledge that that song is one of the greatest songs in "The Record" and one of the best ever written. And then I started bawling, when my mind got stuck on its lyrics and realised just how heartbreaking and beautiful it is.

This will be kind of my personal analysis (also inspired by some suggestions here and there... thank you to all the geniuses around that have noticed certain things. I wish I could write down all your names, but my memory is awful), so if you disagree with it or feel the need to add something, do it. I'd be happy to meet more Boygenius fans!

Ok, I'd like to begin with the third and fourth line of the first verse, where Lucy sings: "I don't need the symbol of a scar/ So put down the knife, we're not swapping blood". And yet, in "The film", Julien still takes a blood oath with the young versions of Lucy and Phoebe. I think that this was such an interesting choice to make, considering the difference between the words and the actions. This actually makes sense though, when underlining that 20$ is Julien's song and these words belong to Lucy.

Julien, as her solo albums readily witness, has no real problem with hurting herself ('Cause I'm so good at hurting myself - Brittle Boned) both physically and psychologically. We also know, from 20$, that she does believe in being connected to Phoebe and Lucy in every universe or life (In another life we were arsonists). Lucy does too with them (And I told you of your past lives; In the next one [life], will you find me? - We're in Love). Same goes for Phoebe, even though it's a little more subtle with her. In fact, more than believing in other lives, she seems to believe in changing herself in the present life, so much that, even though Emily I'm Sorry is her song, she has decided to sing it with her best friends, because, maybe, she'd rather be someone that can be loved by them in particular and not someone only Emily "could want".

To better understand the scar line/imagery, I think it important to notice that Julien doesn't take the blood oath with her adult friends but with their younger selves. In my opinion, it's like a machine has brought them in Julien's universe or timeline to help her get out of her home, which, listening to her music, is a synonym of recovery or at least of a better state of mind (in Go Home and Please Stay, it is quite clear: "I wanna go home, I'm sick", while in Graceland Too she finally gets out once she's feeling better). But, not belonging there (and we know they don't thanks to Julien's surprised expression when she sees little Phoebe), pehaps she's afraid that she'll lose them once they're done with the car, therefore asking them to do that oath. Childhood scars never fully leave us, so Julien might be convinced that it'll help adult Phoebe and Lucy to remember her, once they meet as intended or hoped.

When you think about it, the layers here are so many that it's scary. Scars have always at least a touch of negativity, even when you get them for something not negative per se (I have so many scars I got from running around as a child...), because they always follow pain. Julien and Phoebe have dealt with it their whole life and have actively put themselves through it more than once, so of course Julien chooses to use a knife (which also brings us back again to Please Stay: "The hunting knife you kept by your bed". I don't think the mention in We're in Love is a coincidence) against herself if it means being sure Phoebe and Lucy know it's her. But Lucy stops her for two main reasons:

Julien won't have to wait for them to find her, because she and Phoebe will, according to Lucy, be the ones going to her, if they want to (Will you find me?);

Instead of remembering each other through something painful, they could use the happy and positive memories they've shared in this life. Lucy once again wants to do everything in her power to dismantle her friends' self-destructive tendencies and replace them with something good (even the "happy" in Letter to an Old Poet was her suggestion).

Moving on to the next lines (Isn't it enough that we stripped down to our skin?/ Cold and porcelain like bathers in a painting), the beauty of this specific portrait delivered by Lucy kind of proves the point just made. Saying that the skin is "cold" and "porcelain" delivers a poetic image of extreme fragility that could be both literal or figurative and it shows just how much they trust each other. What Lucy appears to be pointing out is that she doesn't need any more pain to believe they're in love with each other, since they've already done the great sacrifice of showing themselves when they were most vulnerable (something they're still learning to do, according to recent interviews).

In Lucy's specific case (And I told you of your past lives, every man you've ever been/ It wasn't flattering, but you listened like it mattered), I'd go as far as to think that she did that by letting Phoebe and Julien listen to the stories of her past friendships or even relationships, telling them whom she had had by her side before them. She sings that that tale wasn't flattering: why? If I had to express myself on that, I'd guess, by her albums, that, just like any other human being, even Lucy has had a lot of troubled bonds with people she might have wrongly thought were as true and loyal to her as the Boys are now (take Strange Torpedo, Nonbeliever or Brando as examples). My personal take on this part is that she hasn't tried to tell Phoebe and Julien who they've been in the past, but to confess them who had had their roles in her life previously, feeling perhaps embarassed by it. But they're in no way bored or mad at her for that, listening, however, "like it mattered" (quoting True Blue: "It doesn't matter anymore", 'cause they're together now, but it is still important to her that they are paying attention to this part of her story).

She also admits being open to them about her own insecurities, especially the fear of being or seeming crazy (I feel crazy in ways I never say/ Will you still love me if it turns out I'm insane?/ I know what you'll say, but it helps to hear you say it anyway), making herself vulnerable by exposing this side of her she usually keeps hidden in hope of being reassured by them, which they've probably done a thousand times already.

Long story short, coming to the end of the first chorus: Lucy loves and values them for the trust they've put in each other and no scar will ever match that feeling. I have a lot more to say about the rest of the song, but this is mostly me ranting about it, so I'll see how it goes. Sorry for all of this :P

I have a problem in my private life and I don't really know what to do about it. If you want, read what I wrote below and express your opinion whether I am being oversensitive and what you would do in my place.

My husband's mother is a psychotherapist who tends to analyze her family - unfortunately, because it is very unhealthy and unprofessional. On the one hand, she treats her sons (my husband and his younger brother) as geniuses (which they are), her most beloved, best boys, sometimes referring to them as if they were still five years old.

On the other hand, she convinces my husband that his devotion to church affairs comes from his problems, that he denies his need to go to a psychologist in favor of talking to a priest (bullshit).

My husband told me that she interfered a lot in his private life, with whom, where and why, to such an extent that he did not want to tell her for a long time that he was with me so that she would not bother him, he also hid my letters from her under his bed .

And finally I showed up. When I first came to their house, she welcomed me like a queen, baked me a cake, praised my beauty and intelligence, told me how much my husband and I fit together, how glad she was that we met.

It was nice until a year later when my husband proposed to me and announced that he didn't want to wait long to get married - I had no objections either, but it was his decision to hurry. My husband's mother wanted a big wedding, but I did the opposite. Then my little hell began.

When I was in my city and my husband was in my house, his mother told him that I was manipulating him, that he was making a mistake by wanting to marry me so soon (she got married early and they separated from my husband father because they couldn't be together withstand).

My husband was devastated, but he stood by me, saying that it was our wedding and our comfort was the most important. It ended with the wedding being exactly as we wanted, but my husband's mother personally organized a grand reception.

There had been tension between us since then, but it seemed to be getting better. I tried to help her, be nice to her, simply treat her as if she were my second mother (even though neither I nor my husband call our in-laws 'mom' or 'dad').

My mother treats my husband as if she just magically had a second child. She is strict and demanding, but she also always thinks about him, what he says and what he needs is important to her, she would like to see him as often as possible and is sad when he doesn't come to their place for coffee with me.

In the case of my husband's mother, I always feel like the third wheel there. When I confided in her about my fear of pregnancy and of the baby turning out sick, she then used it against me during another conversation and said - after you confided in me all your phobias, I already knew that I would never have a grandchild.

Which was like a slap in the face because that's when we started trying for a baby and it turned out that I had hormonal problems.

I told her this and she felt ashamed, but the milk had already spilled. She couldn't understand how my husband and I could not want to go everywhere together, give each other so much space, she said that I was denying things, that I was behaving like an amazon and trying to prove something to everyone.

Of course, she said all this when my husband was not around.

When he came back in the evening after a party with friends and found me in bed crying, I told him everything. That I told her that I didn't want to have an uninvited therapist, but a second mother and I was sorry that I would never be her third child in her eyes.

He said that what she was doing was because she was jealous, that she knew that I was the first in his eyes now and that she couldn't come to terms with it.

But is it my problem?

Since that conversation, she has calmed down a bit, because I told her some bitter words of truth, but I will never trust her again, I thank God that she lives so far from us. I get stressed thinking about when I have to go there (like next week, because it's a holiday in our country and there will be days off).

I just try to be nice, not to express my opinions or interfere in the discussion, but if I do something that she thinks I could do differently, she still blames me and bothers me. This is my little hell (and then she has the nerve to say she's an awesome mother-in-law).

I'm sorry, I had to share this with someone, my husband knows it very well and is trying to protect me from her, but he can't be with me 24 hours a day, and she's his mother.

We wondered if he should talk to her about it, but we're sure in her head she'll explain to herself that I manipulated him and I'm turning him against her because she's not doing anything wrong.
