i've thought for a while before making this post. if you're not a regular follower, i don't think it makes sense to read, but if you follow me and keep up with my posts, i ask you to read just to know some information regarding the functioning of the blog from now on.

i created this blog because i wanted to combine training my reading skills with my love for k-pop. and that's still true for me; i'm not here to be a people pleaser, a famous tarot reader, or be seen as the ultimate truth. i just want to showcase my work, practice, and gossip about K-pop.

lately, i've been making a lot of NSFW posts, and i want to say that this will continue to happen, potentially increasing. i even thought about creating a separate blog just for NSFW posts based on tarot, but then i thought, "why should i do that when 403tarot is MY blog, my space, and there i can post whatever i want? who am i trying to please by doing that?"

and i don't want to please anyone. i am of legal age, the idols for whom i create NSFW content are of legal age (yes, they are not your little meow meow), and the audience for my content in general is for adults. besides, tarot is a game. nothing that any tarot reader says is necessarily true or false; it's just how a person interprets answers to questions posed to 78 cards of paper.

"i don't think xyz idol acts the way you described" okay! take what i wrote as fanfiction then, imagine that they act that way and have fun. learn how to enjoy things without taking it weirdly too deep. i know some see tarot as something sacred, but in my view, it's just 78 cards made for my entertainment. for me, it's a mere game, and i'll always treat it that way. if you don't like it, and my perspective bothers you to the point of being hateful, you can unfollow me.

i say this because some of you have become too brave in sending me rude asks while hiding behind an anonymous filter. i don't care... i don't know who made you believe that you are SO important, but i'm here to tell you that it's not true. i don't care if you don't think tarot should be used for NSFW or that my readings aren't good enough. i put disclaimers in all my posts, and in none of them do i remember mentioning that i need anyone's approval.

however, anonymous asks are now permanently prohibited. you can tell me hateful things through ask but at least have the decency to show your username while doing so. from there, you can have fun and say whatever you want! you'll probably be ignored, but i know some don't get attention from their parents and therefore feel the need to seek it from strangers on the internet.

briefly speaking, please don't flood the ask. i know it's crucial to know if your idol is dating someone or if the woman he's going to marry is a foreigner, but if you've sent the same ask three times, rest assured i saw it. sometimes i just didn't find it interesting, wasn't in the mood to accept or i don't like the guy. anyway, check the upcoming posts on my pinned to make sure, and don't forget that if you're not paying me anything i'm not a employee of yours.

in summary, i will continue to do whatever i want on my blog, and if that bothers you, the door is open for you to peacefully leave. i've developed affection for some blogs that are frequently here in reblogs and notes, and you are the majority, so know that i like you sooo much and this post is directed at a small fraction of people only.

Assorted thoughts about Astarion's epilogue that I have only seen in video because patch 4 broke my save files and I have to replay the whole thing to get there.

From what I've seen everyone's good endings seem a little... overly good and free of consequence? But at the same time I haven't seen everything with my own eyes and everyone deserves to be happy, so whatever. If I want angst, there's fic.

Sooo... is it that unromanced Astarion disappeared after the scene at the docks and nobody could find him, or did you assholes just not try? I will be generous and assume the former.

Stop stabbing the table you little gremlin. ...although I'd probably enjoy doing that, if I could get away with it.

I still hate that outfit with the ruff.

Not surprised Larian is doubling down on the "no cure" angle. I don't really care if Astarion remains a vampire or if he goes the cure route, so long as he's happy - although I do think in his shoes I'd look for some way to day-walk anyway, on practical grounds alone.

Hiding a knife behind his back while asking an unromanced Durge if they're showing any signs of being under Bhaal's control... I adore a pragmatic bastard.

---"I could've told you that [you can kill people in a socially acceptable manner]" ---"You realise I don't actually pay attention when you talk, right?" ^This is why I both love him with all my soul and also want to push him off a roof.^

Delighted and validated by Astarion feeding by taking jobs as a bounty hunter or something like that. That was 100% what Vel was suggesting to him post game. Like "Hey, have you considered bounty hunting? if my memories of killing people for fun and profit, and the last month or two of everyone suddenly celebrating instead of getting mad when I murder has taught me anything; if you eat the people the majority want dead, you can have all the blood and money you can get your teeth into and nobody will have a problem with it."

And then there's Ascended Astarion... who I will put under a read more to save space and for those who'd like to avoid the uglier side of endings.

So I don't think Larian read the supplement Van RIchten's Guide to Vampires (it's from 1992, but as far as I know it's also still the most comprehensive write up of D&D vampire lore, and some of it still looks to apply here (or at least, it can).)

But the first thing I thought of, watching him constantly turn into a bat, is that it reminded me of the vampire psychological development stages. Stage one is where a vampire is drunk on their shiny new powers and just will not stop showing them off. (Stage two is the "find out" stage of the fuck around process, where the vampire discovers they're not as invincible as they believed and descends into full blown, paranoid monstrosity.)

Then "I will be watching." "I/We need to eavesdrop on everybody."... Oh, the paranoia. How's that thing where the curse of vampirism is twisting the trauma and fear going for you, my dude?

"I'll never forget the time we spent together, though. And I know you'll never forget about me. Until next time, darling." ...might be his expression or the datamined epilogues where he still wants his ex, but that feels like a threat to me? Might just be a jab after being dumped...

And, oh yeah, we're definitely looking at vampire bride/groom tier stuff here: Just sit on the decorative pedestal I built for you and look pretty until I'm in the mood to take you down and play with you. Stop complaining about how you're bored and want freedom!

The PC isn't weak by any measure, they could become a rival.. AA isn't my ending of choice, but I am morbidly fascinated with the concept of Tav and Astarion as toxic vampire divorcees: Two angry, powerful "lovers to enemies" vampire lords "sharing" territory; passing the centuries obsessing over each other; fighting each other; sometimes maybe hate-fucking, and generally making their bad relationship everyone's problem.

Okay so for people in diff timezones, it's around 4am on the 13th April for me, so the 11th was about two days ago

But I've been meaning to make a little post

Thursday marked the year anniversary of Smosh's tntl with Starkid. Now I know to some that means absolutely nothing, but to me it's a little special because this means I've now been a proper smosh fan and on smoshblr for around a year now☹️

I would say I REALLY became apart of smoshblr around November when I became shaynse anon and I don't want to sound cringey but I actually believe that I have changed quite a bit since then blogwise and even personalitywise even though its been a couple of months

I guess I just wanted to make a post to say from the bottom of my heart thank you, the mutuals and anons I've gained the past couple of months is a lot compared to me pre shaynse anon. I really found my footing on tumblr and gained a lot more confidence all thanks to this little community 🙂

I will never forget shaynse day, its still CRAZY to me that even one person thought of me, never mind multiple. I remember when that happened (people reaching out to me), I was giddy for days and I was ready to explode because I had nobody in real life to talk to it about😭 So thank you SO much

1) Started doing some yoga at home in my spare time (in grey sweatpants because it's hotter) and it got me thinking, he'd love watching you do your thing, actually he might even help.

2) So we all agree that he's very observant and if he sees that something catches your eye he will buy it for you. So window shopping with him would be impossible!! You'll also have to explain to him that just because you like how a dress looks, it doesn't mean you want to buy it.

3) While on the topic of buying something, we change things up and buy him a bouquet of flowers? He's all "Oh thank you darlin" smiling and trying to keep his cool but inside he's screaming because his lover?? got him?? flowers??

4) Neck kisses!! He loves giving them to you: lazily laying in bed? Neck kisses. Not paying attention to him? Neck kisses. Taking a bath? Neck kisses. Just imagine his lips, slowly leaving a trail of kisses all over your neck, he's in no rush.

5) How do you think he'll act if one of his mission takes longer than promised? And it's not like a week or something, but 2 MONTHS. I feel like he'd definitely get more agitated and snap more often than usual. And when he finally gets home? He's all over you.

6) Plus, since we're talking about missions and being easily agitated,... sending him some photos? Not revealing too much but just enough to make his pants feel tighter. Add a "Sitting here, unkissed." comment and you're in for a ride once he gets back.

7) I noticed I don't write his full codename but I really just like Tan. He also gets used to you calling him Tan/Tang so one day you hit him with the "What page are you at, Tangerine?" he'll stare at you like :O

8) You said he makes heart eyes at his lover, could you describe more on what his gaze looks like? (I love 'soft for his girl only' men)

9) ALSO the 'says he's not thirsty when you need to pee' post made me cry bricks that's SO HIM!! But like how would you even react to that? I think I'll just look at him in disbelief.

Assassin!reader 1) First I want to say if I was on that train and saw him tossing that cig on the ground he'll def get an earful from me. Anyway,

2) Reader getting injured while on a mission, like she got stabbed. The moment he hears her scream, Tan is grabbing the guy by the hair, throwing him on the floor and starts beating the shit out of him. (hot)

3) Speaking of getting injured, if reader ever gets hurt beacuse of his occupation (someone wanted to get back at him) he wouldn't know what to do with himself. So, I did Latin for 7 years. WAIT, STOP HEAR ME OUT!

I did my final school exam on Ovid's "Metamorphoses" and the one thing that significantly shaped my view on media was Ovid's understanding of love.

When we think about romance and romantic love today, we tend to think of it as a saving grace, something that completes you. Falling in love in fiction implies a positive bond, something that will eventually help you. There are whole subgenres on the idea that "Love can save you"; "The Power of Love" is a pretty famous trope, right?

Now, Ovid also saw falling in love as a strong but, alas not always one that saves you. In almost every myth he reinterpreted in his "Metamorphoses" love creates - but only through destruction. Here, love is a force of nature, something even the gods aren't immune against. Love is rapturous and terrifying, more an uncontrollable forest fire than a tender candle flame. Love is complicated, the very act of falling so big that no one can even measure the effects it will have on the individual, the community, the world.

One of my favourite scenes in the poetic cycle tells the story about Apollo arguing with Cupido (son of Venus, basically her right hand). It goes like this:

Young Apollo just slew a beast. Standing on it, bloody bow in hand, he spots Cupido and brags: "Look at my skill, my power. I am the element tipping scales in wars, only one hit with my arrow is enough to kill the most gigantic monsters. What can you do with your weak bow, your mediocre arrows? Love, this feeble thing? Forever I will be the better archer between the both of us."

And Cupido, angry, just smiles: "My arrow may not kill any beast in one strike, but it'll strike you. And it'll destroy.

And it does. Apollo gets hit by an arrow and immediately falls in love with the nymph Daphne. Cupido also hits her with an arrow, not one for love but for eternal hate.

Long story short: Apollo runs after her, she begs her father, a river, to help her. He transforms her into a laurel tree, causing Apollo's heart to break. This is why he gets portrayed with a laurel crown in mythological pictures. He wears it to never forget his first love.

This, btw, is one of a gazillion stories where Apollo falls in love with someone and that person dies, gets transformed into flora or eternally hates him. Just because he messed with Cupido once (1)! Cupido and his mother Venus are incredibly petty and power hungry. Ovid's message is rather clear: do not fuck with love! Do not underestimate it! Don't try controlling the forest fire, you will burn yourself.

Love and the loss of it, in Ovids works, is more often than not associated with pain, sometimes implied to be worse than death, sometimes implied to be better than heaven. It creates, it destroys, it lets you learn and fall and stand up again. Love isn't something positive (or negative) - it just is. And you have to deal with that, whether you like it or not.

And I love the implications with this conceptualisation, because love hurts although it may be right, it may be cute, it may be essential. "Uwu such a cute romance sto-" NO. Cute? Love isn't cute, love is bigger than your tiny, short, pathetic life. Love is uncontrollable. Love is chaos.

Sooo, this is a fandom post after all, so I'll get to Stolitz now. If you're just here for me fangirling about Ovid (love that guy, we stan someone that knows his metrics), you can check out now. Hope you had fun reading!

If you think about love like Ovid things about it, isn't it oh-so-understandable why Blitzø fears it so much? It ties you to someone, you float in an ocean and everywhere you look, you see only horizon and waves. And for someone that only has experience with how love destroys (flashback with Fizz birthday, also whatever the fuck happened with his twin sister Barbie) falling of course feels like fucking drowning. You try to act normal, as if there would be normal ground under your feet. You don't try to swim (why bother? Never worked out anyway) and because you don't even try, you start sinking, choking on your own infatuation, with no safe haven, no anchor, no land in sight. You're alone, lungs filling with water, slowly losing consciousness while the sounds of the earth above you are getting quieter, the world desaturated of its colour.

"Are you afraid to love people, Blitzy?" - Of course he is? Why wouldn't he? Are you afraid of forest fires?

And to add on that: he feels completely alone in his own conscious, his emotions for Stolas. Because like hell he'd be vulnerable in front of his friends or crush. He's way to deep anyway, everything is dark blue. No one will hear you and even if: you would not want them to listen. Blitzø wants to drown in silence, not having a say in if he drowns at all because, like I said, love is way too big for you to control.

Similar with Stolas, although his view on the fire isn't that pessimistic. He knows how powerful emotions are and doesn't even try to contain them. At first, he almost revels in the waves. Did you ever swim at night, the stars above you multiplied by the water below you? There is nothing but the waves and the stars and the sky. There is nothing, there is everything. Stolas likes loving, he sees beauty and contempt in it. But eventually he sees that there isn't land in sight, that you alone cannot survive this vastness of nature also.

You cannot control the Ocean, cannot control the forest fire, but you can try to coordinate. This is the only way to survive this terrifying ordeal called love.

So he swims, tries to swim at least and he looks for Blitzø, realising they'll both go down with this relationship if they won't find the other between the waves. And he swims and swims, screaming, while Blitzø drowns him out. He cannot hear him, because he cannot accept that pretending there is land under your feet won't magically make the ocean disappear. He'd need to swim, but what good did that ever cause him?

Salem advised a lot of Bhaalists, but never directly trained a special apprentice. He preferred to leave initiates to their own devices. Given his relationship to Orin, it’s probably for the best that he didn’t have a bunch of other well-trained Bhaalists gunning for his position.

Prior to the Nautiloid, Salem wore the fear and hatred of Bhaal and Bhaalspawn as a badge of pride, and masked the small bit of shame he felt. During BG3, he disowns both his father and his heritage. I haven’t really thought about how he deals with it post-BG3. Would he be open about it? Would he shamefully hide it? Maybe he only brings it up when he knows his old life and impulses might put someone in danger?

He was simultaneously pissed and gracious about the impromptu lobotomy thing. Pissed because he got shoved off of his throne, gracious because he never wanted it in the first place. He could do without the permanent brain damage, though.

If we're talking about if he lost his NEW memories, he'd be pretty broken. He likes the new memories he's made. (Most of them, anyway.)

Oh, he’s sooo bad at coping with everything to do with his past life. If he didn’t have Astarion and the gang to guide him, he’d probably drink himself to death or just fall back into the cult. He’s doing his damnest to make up for everything, but he never feels like it’s enough. It’s a shame Larian doesn’t want to do DLC. I would love an in-depth look at how things play out for a redeemed Durge in canon lore.

I don't think he's had any major outbursts since Alfira and Kressa Bonedaughter, but I could see him relapsing.

It's completely normal to have periods in your life where you feel so unbearably lonely and sad -- granted, our lonely period has been. like. forever lmao but like -- we WILL be surrounded by love and acceptance and one day we will forget how it felt to be in our current situation we're in rn. It's gonna get better. It feels super impossible and really hard everyday but dude it WILL get better bc that's how the universe functions, everything is temporary, eventually something will shift and new opportunities will come, or new people who bring you joy.

In the meantime, I am mentally holding your hand through any bad day you have. Thank you again for empathizing with me, bc honestly I hear sooo many stories about how people have... great experiences with the subject you wrote about, and it just makes me feel so bitter and resentful bc like... I'll never have that. And of course I am SO sorry that you go through the same feelings as me and the same, uh what's the word [squints] situations? events?? I don't know how to phrase it. but your message brought me a little bit of comfort to know I wasn't the only person who has to deal with that. I am surrounded by so many ppl who are so, so close with their families and watching that kind of thing makes me feel so bitter sometimes, and it just makes me wanna walk directly into the ocean dfshlfhslfksdsfd

I also want to say thank you SO MUCH for telling me Ken would patch up my wounds 😭😭 that was nice of you to take the time to do that for me ;-; I always beat myself up so much after I hurt myself, bc as you are aware of uh. [gestures to our unnamed topic] I've had bad experiences where i've hurt myself and have just gotten yelled at or ignored altogether, so. I just assume my F/Os would hate me for it. I get extra sad with Ken especially bc he's a doll and he's never seen human blood before, so my thoughts are always "oh he'd be scared of me and grossed out and hate me sooo much" but you were the first and only person who said "hey actually he'd be concerned!!!" and I just. wept. in a good way ofc!! but dude I just bawled after reading that, it was something I needed to hear so badly. Especially the lines "Ken loves you, Keri" "You know he doesn't half-ass things when it comes to you" and my favorite "He would draw you a little horse on the bandage, if you asked him to (he hopes you ask him.)" Ofc I will ask him I will PLEAD with this man to draw a very sparkle horsey in a pink glittery pen :] anyway I hope you don't mind I saved that particular paragraph so I could go back and reread it to cheer myself. I read it again today while I was at work actually!
