｡ﾟ•┈୨♡୧┈•ﾟ｡𝒂/𝒏: i've been listening to espresso on repeat these days and it's so denji coded i just had to write this.

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who has a massive crush on you, his favourite singer. he learns all your songs and choreographies, the tv in his room stuck on a music programme just in case your music videos are played so he can watch you.

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who keeps up with the latest news about you– the trips you take and fan meetings you host, the dramas you're involved in and knows the dates of your upcoming concerts by heart. he knows he could never afford going to one, but he still memorizes them

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who thinks about you day and night. he's completely smitten with you, dreaming about meeting you one day and asking for your autograph. you'd give it to him, right? of course you would, you were the sweetest girl ever

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 whose heart skips a beat when he spots you inside a café, prettily seated at a table as you scroll on your phone and sip from your cup. he rushes inside the coffee shop, brimming with anticipation as he comes up to your table. he doesn't spare you the generic "god i can't believe it's you. i'm like your biggest fan" talk before asking for an autograph

you've been through this before a thousand times, it's a given when you're a popular idol. still, there's something about this guy that's just adorable. he's so flustered, stumbling over his words and toying with the end of his black tie. you ask him for something to write on and he checks his pockets, his pretty face dropping when he realizes he doesn't have any paper on him. so you simply sign your autograph on a napkin you find on the table.

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊, who's quite literally about to faint when you pass him the folded napkin with a wide smile on your face. his fingers brush against yours in the process, his heart beating ten times faster. half afraid he's going to make a fool of himself if he stays any longer, he mutters a thank you and bows, rushing out of the café. once outside, he eventually regains his composure and unfolds the napkin, his eyes shooting open when he sees you didn't only give him your autograph, but also your number. was he actually real? nah, he must be dreaming, right?

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who waits a few hours before texting you. he doesn't want to seem too desperate (though he is). he waits all day by his phone, checking it every five minutes just in case he missed the notification sound. when you text him back he's thrilled, grinning from ear to ear like a lovesick idiot

thought you gave me a false number for a second haha

aww, you can't possibly think i'm that cruel

course not, you're so nice, really. can we meet one day? i mean, i'd like it if you're down for it. i don't mean to intrude though

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊, who actually thinks he's dreaming. he's getting a date with his favourite idol, it feel so surreal. still, he makes sure to put on the nicest clothes on to impress you and ends up arriving at your meeting spot half an hour earlier.

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who somehow manages to fall head over heels for you after just one date. you were even nicer in person, so caring and sweet and attentive– surprisingly normal in the best was possible. he knows he's a bit awkward, gushing over how much he loves your music and how lucky he is to be able to meet you irl but you don't mind it. if anything, you find his behaviour adorable.

by the end of the date you have him wrapped around your finger. he walks you home, his hand loosely holding yours, thumb caressing the back of your hand. denji hopes you didn't notice how sweaty his palm is, how nervous he is. god, you were driving him crazy

𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒃𝒐𝒚!𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒊 who swallows the lump in his throat, shyly looking down at his shoes when you ask him for a goodbye kiss once you get in from of your apartment building. for a moment he thinks you're joking, but it soon becomes apparent that you're dead serious. hesitantly wrapping an arm around your lower back, he presses his lips against yours.

you taste like strawberry chapstick and he loves it, eagerly deepening the kiss, his hands gripping your waist in a desperate attempt to keep himself in check. but you can feel his growing bulge pressing against your navel when he pulls you closer.

he's a blushing mess after you break the kiss and wish him goodnight, thanking him for the date before you disappear inside your apartment complex.

hey there pretty boy. did you get home?

yea, all safe and sound

good, good. thanks again for today. i had such a great time. can't wait to see you again♡♡

The Dream Lord stiffened in his seat as he banished away his thoughts to the darkest chambers of his mind, afraid they would return otherwise. But they still do, every time. The colours swirling in the glass pane that framed his throne cast vibrant hues of light on his poised face, accentuating his features that were sharp enough to cut skin. Promise Dream the words come back as a whisper, evoking a chill on his neck that travelled through his spine. He shut his eyes willing his mind to quiet, trying to-

"My lord." Lucienne's welcoming voice pulled him to the present.

"You have a visitor," she announced.

Morpheus raised an eyebrow imperceptibly at his failure to come up with someone who might visit his realm, especially when he was not expecting anyone.

"Little brother.” The voice was accompanied by a woman with black curls and a skin that glowed before the light from the glass pane even touched her.

"Death," Morpheus stated, bewilderment tucked somewhere in his tone. After all, he hadn't expected to meet her again so soon.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I am truly well sister, what brings you here?"

Death knew how much truth his ‘truly well’ held but let it pass for the moment. "Lucienne would you please excuse us for a minute?"

"Ofcourse my lady," she dipped her head and pursued the command, closing the colossal doors behind her.

"Something...something has happened." Death wasted no time in speaking.

This time Dream did not try to hide the raise in his eyebrow. "Whatever do you mean?" His calm voice floated through the room.

"Dream,”

Before she could follow the sentence, turmoil had already begun growing within him, Death was using his name only to soften the blow.

"It's here."

“Bloody hell, that was one hell of a case!” Charles exclaimed as he shut the door behind you three.

“Charles you know Edwin suffers from serious ptsd please stop using hell so much around him. It’s not like the British lack in creative curses,” you reprimanded him as you shrugged your jacket off, draping it over the couch.

“Haha you’re hilarious,” Edwin stated monotonically while Charles started chanting ‘hell’ in the background just to spite the both of you.

“Thanks hon,” you winked, “and Charles shut that hole up or if the ghost didn’t get you I surely will.”

“Hell hell hell hell hell- ow what was that for?”

You grinned in delight as your boot contacted with his abdomen, “for being annoying.”

Another “ow” escaped Charles as he sent glaring looks at you. “And that?”

“For being you,” you beamed, devoid of both your boots now.

Your smile was quickly wiped off your face as Charles began his incantation right in your face.

“Get away from me!” You groaned flailing your hands to push his bloodied face away.

“Okay now I don’t know about you both but I for one am seriously tired after the events that have transpired during the day. So if you will excuse me and please take whatever this is,” Edwin gestured at the both of you with a foul expression, “somewhere else because I need to rest.”

“Hell hell hell.” Charles resumed being annoying as if nothing had happened.

“I swear if even a droplet of that ghost’s blood drops on my t-shirt I will fucking kill you. Again.”

“Hell hell- you love me too much for that-hell hell-”

“Yeah? Go on and find out- NO!” You let out a scream that would have for sure woken up your neighbours if you had any, being a secretive ghost agency and what not.

“You bitch! That was my favourite t-shirt!” You looked down at the once white fabric now bearing an impression of Charles right profile with blood.

“I know.” He had the audacity to smirk at that.

You went for his throat, fully determined to give truth to your previous threat when Edwin pulled you from him.

"Enough! Both of you!”

Charles and you stared at each other, your ears still hot with fury.

“Charles go wash up that face please! And Hazel you need sleep, unlike us so go retire to your bedroom.”

“Like you can just order us around,” you rolled your eyes.

But Edwin’s one look in your way got you scrambling for your jacket.

“Yes boss.” Charles made his way to the bathroom.

“Goodnight Edwin, fuck you Charles.” And you departed with your wishes.

You sighed as you switched on the lights in your room, and plopped down on the single bed. Not even mustering up the courage to change into your night clothes, you let sleep engulf you and enter the world of dreaming.

This time, I think I'll go ahead and do Lexi!

Are you named after anyone?

“Not that I'm aware of. My parents just really liked the name Alexia. And honestly, I can't blame them! It's a good name. I mean, there are so many variants on the name Alexander. Like I could've gotten Alexandra but that seems a little...I dunno, much? Much. Alexis doesn't...feel right. For me, like, I think Alexandra and Alexis are fine names for people who aren't me. Regardless, I definitely prefer the name Lexi. Alexia feels a little awkward to be called on, like, a regular basis. Again, for me. I'm rambling. The point is, no, I don't think I'm named after anyone.”

When was the last time you cried?

“This morning. I couldn't find my pink pen. Yeah, I know it seems stupid and immature to cry over a pen, but, like, it wasn't like I was upset that my pen was missing, it was the fact that I was stressed over losing it because my pink pen is used to color-code my English assignments. And there's a lot of English assignments, y'know?”

Do you have kids?

“I am in middle school. Middle. Schoooool. Who's even thinking about romance? That'll come with time. Like, high school. And kids much later. Like, after college. I don't have to worry about that right now.”

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

“I dunno. I don't have a record. Sometimes?”

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

“...everything? I dunno, I look at them, and I see them. The whole of them. Is this an attraction question? I already said I was in middle school! I guess height. Like if I look at them, it's either up, down, or straight ahead. Height.”

What’s your eye colour?

“My eyes are brown. Not much to say about them. They're pretty dark brown. My sister has bright blue eyes that really standout against her skin and hair. I'm not jealous, actually, it's just an observation. I happen to like my dark eyes!”

Scary movies or happy endings?

“Happy endings, of course! I love a good happy ending. I mean, sad endings make me sad. Scary movies can have happy endings, I guess. This is a strange question haha. But happy endings.”

Any special talents?

“Well, I am first chair, first violin in my orchestra class! I think I'm a good leader. Usually take the lead on group projects. Um...oh, duh, I play the violin. And I also can organize stuff really well. Good color sense, I've been told. Uh, I gotta garden! It's small, but I wanted to have an out doorsy activity. Brings my anxiety down.”

Where were you born?

“Uh...here in Texas, I think. At least that's what I was told. *Gasp* There's a chance I was born in Alium! I need to ask my pia about that...”

Do you have any pets?

“No. I wouldn't mind one! A dog or a cat would be awesome. Maybe both!”

What sort of sports do you play?

“I don't actually play sports. There'd be a few issues to convince those in charge, anyways, to get me a different uniform. I have haphephobia - I don't like people touching me - and the more skin I show the higher the risk and my anxiety goes up more. So for now, no, we don't want to deal with that. I ride my bike sometimes. If I were to play a sport, it would be either volleyball or tennis, and definitely cheerleading - those girls are so nice!”

How tall are you?

“I am 5'1, meaning I'm about average for my age!”

What was your favourite subject in school?

“Oh! English! I like learning new words - I always have. Phonics may have been my favorite in elementary school! We don't do that a lot anymore, but we still learn a lot more about language. Also, may be biased because all my friends are in my class this year. Well, not all of them. Three of them. Mr. Flanagan also let us choose our groups at the beginning of the year, so I'm always with them!”

What is your dream job?

“I. Am in. Middle school. Why would I be thinking that far? *Sigh* I guess...I dunno, maybe journalism or counseling? I feel like that'd be fun.”

Chapter 5 was a wild ride and it was so good! The trial constantly had me guessing. I am relieved Saiki survived but the cost was just as damaging to my soul. This fic has made me ship Hayasaka/Kurumada so hard (and this chapter also made me ship L and Brian a little oops lol). I love your characterization of these characters.

The artwork for this chapter was also incredible! I can tell you and Rexx worked really hard on it! I'm looking forward to chapter 6 once you feel ready to work on it some more!

This time I really tried making them explore a whole bunch of different avenues in terms of the killer just to make the truth that much harder to accept when they got there. Also because no L = everything is now emotionally complicated /j

(In fact basically everyone was suspected at least once except Latte (and Moony) lol)

It was also interesting having a case where two people were involved, but neither knew who the other was (unlike in case 2 where Yuri knew Kaidou had killed Retsuko before messing with the crime).

Honestly it’s been nice being able to share one of my favourite pairings with you all in the fic, and seeing a lot of you come to like it as well ^^ even if I turned it into tragic yaoi hell for my own suffering

I appreciate the comment about the art as well! I’ve been really inspired by the art in Project Sekai, and I wanted each CG to have the same feeling I get from looking at any of the cool ass cards (so it has definitely inspired my shading/lighting technique going forward) 💪

cant do anything but watch tv and play games and i finally beat sonic 1 the other day and parents were like “how many years did that take you” and im like well i never really played sonic 1 as a kid but i guess technically as long as ive been alive hahahaa

then i start playing sonic 2 and im like “wow this is harder than i remember” [doesnt recognize a single level after chemical plant zone]

me: ah... once again it seems that the only games I played seriously as a kid were ones with knuckles in them... i see.......

I love watching LilSimsie’s videos, even though we play different editions, and I particularly enjoy her shell challenges - where she uploads empty exterior walls and others have to make a lot out of it. I especially liked this one, referred to lovingly by LilSimsie & her followers as the “Big Mistake Shell Challenge” - because all the exterior walls are 100% diagonal.

This is just as difficult to work around in TS4 as it is in TS2, so I wanted to join in the torture! The (wonky) red lines mark the untouchable shell. I ended up really happy with the results, so I’m sharing this fully-furnished, cleaned, play-tested, CC-free apartment building in the hopes you’ll enjoy it too.

🚨 PLEASE LOAD THIS LOT BEFORE MOVING SIMS IN 🚨

When you move Sims into an apartment, it’s difficult to safely alter anything outside, so please make sure to check that everything is as it should be before you move Sims in.

You do not need CC or mods to play this lot. However, it was made with a few common mods in mind, and if you don’t want to use them, please tweak the lot before playing:

Rugs have been placed off-grid. Either make sure you have Rugs Off The Grid, or delete/move rugs to avoid graphical glitches as seen in these previews.

If you don’t have Water Inaccessible Flowers and Trim Inaccessible Bushes then you may need to move/delete some landscaping and/or fences.

The ground floor was designed for use with Apartments & Shopping On The Same Lot. If you don’t use this mod, nothing bad will happen, but the bottom floor will not sell anything except via the vending machines & electronics kiosk. You can replace the convenience store with a common area such as an indoor pool, computer room, etc, or even another apartment; I honestly recommend leaving the cafe as-is, because your playable Sims can still work there as a barista.

There is no CC in this lot, but there are some deco "accessory” items not normally accessible by players (e.g. a saucepan). If you delete these you may not be able to replace them. Similarly, some items were placed with Shiftable Everything. If you delete some items you may not be able to replace them in the same positions without this mod.

A corner counter in the top apartment may not corner properly when the lot is placed. This can be fixed with moveobjects. Although it clips, it is considered within the apartment, so you can put objects on it without apartment cheats.

If you don’t use Shiftable Trash Chutes, your chutes may appear glitched (see below). This is harmless and can be fixed simply by replacing the chute. Note: the chute on the second floor was originally placed with the cheat setquartertileplacement on.

If you play with CC, then I also have some suggestions for where it might improve this lot:

The expensive computer in the cafe (I hate that hideous thing) would be much better as a laptop.

The flower plots on the rooftop would also make a great produce garden with Honeywell’s placeable garden plots.

You can replace a corkboard in the lobby with a jobs board.

The signs for Cafe Urele might look nicer with a recolour or swapped out for a cute sandwich board.

The bike racks by the basketball court look a bit bare without some deco bikes.

The bare brick wall at the back of the building is prime real estate for some graffiti.

The busker’s guitar out the front will look a little more appropriate with an invisible amp recolour and maybe a decorative case.

If you find all the lights overpowering, don’t forget to turn some off.

And of course, don’t forget to add fences, hedges, etc. that will make this lot blend in better with the surrounding lots in your hood.

The first apartment has two separate bedrooms; Currently, it’s furnished as though occupied by two unrelated roommates - one sewist and one musician - but it could also work for a parent and a child. It has this kitchenette common area as well as a small balcony.

The second apartment is the most “luxury”. It’s a cozy open-plan studio with a double bed, a small but quality kitchen, and its own balcony. This is ideal for a D.I.N.K couple or perhaps a single Romance Sim.

The top apartment is the smallest and cheapest, barely fitting a kitchenette and single bed, but there’s space to move out on the building’s largest balcony. Perfect for an artsy single Sim working or studying in the big city. (The little reading nook bumpout is my favourite detail.)

All bathrooms are more or less identical, with a toilet, basin, medicine cabinet, trash can, and shower. The second floor studio has a shower/bath combo.

I wanted the lot to have free skilling opportunities, so all residents have access to the rooftop garden and free use of the crafting station & chess set there. There’s also a bookcase in the cafe, a guitar on the street for busking, an outdoor gym, and a basketball hoop.

Sims should be able to access everything (except the flowers/hedges - see above) without routing errors, though of course, with such an “interesting” layout, your Sims might get a bit cramped and fussy. The only issue I ran into is that there’s nowhere on the second floor for the newspaper to be delivered, so it often glitches into the apartment on the left, regardless of which apartment you live in. You can retrieve the paper in buy mode without cheats. This is not an issue on the top floor.

Like that was the only place they would reliably fit #because all the bathrooms were so weirdly shaped because they all needed straight walls. so they all had little pockets #meanwhile the rest of the apartment typically didn't have space for a bin where it would be accessible in normal gameplay #I never put trash cans in Sim bathrooms normally because there's no need for one there even tho IRL it's probably like #the most common place to have a trash can after the kitchen #BAM. Lil bit of realism for you. Two sim birds with one sim stone #anyway I'm rambling. oh adi you do not know what can of worms you've just opened!

my favourite wip is honestly really hard to choose! but i've been really enjoying working on my jedi!padme au recently because there's just!!! so many little plot threads to connect!!! and i've been having so much fun layering it all together!!!

i think my favourite thing about it, though, has got to be padme herself. setting her as a jedi with a very complex background (i refuse to elaborate but. i am having fun creating Lore for this (deep magic from the dawn of time, if you prefer)) has been really interesting, especially with how she perceives things compared to others. she struggles with her identity as a jedi, especially as she sees the order doing things she disagrees with. in the flashback in chapter two, we barely brush the surface, and yet she's just so angry. her angry comment about being the sith they're looking for doesn't come from nowhere.

she also has such fun relationships with obi-wan and qui-gon! putting her as obi-wan's lineage brother just gives them such a sweet relationship, if very silly at times, and they both have a very deep-seated struggle with the idea of being a jedi. yet they go about it in very different ways - anger vs. striving to be the best. and qui-gon. look. i do love him. but he's not exactly the best at dealing with this stuff? he does care, he truly does, but he's not got the best track-record, let's say, at actually showing it.

and we haven't seen much of it yet, but knowing anakin and his family is going to utterly mess padme up more (in a good way). they are everything padme craves. spoiler alert! the clone wars is about to begin! and padme is going to have a horrible time because the clones are slaves. that is a fact. the jedi using them is a betrayal, especially to padme, and she will not stand for it. i have very complex feelings about the jedi, so i warn you in advance. we also have padme and anakin falling in love, which is as fun as it usually is

my jedi!padme au, at the end of the day, is about family. it is about the complex families and relationships they all have, and how they end up playing out. it is about the family padme came from, the family she joined with the jedi, the family she finds along the way. it is about trust and betrayal. it is about choosing what you know is right, despite everything. it is about choosing light over dark.
