i really want to know what it was about beauty youtube that invented a whole other breed of human because like there are a LOT of beauty gurus and i can't name a single normal one without a list of controversies longer than my arm. i know there's a lot of egomaniacs on youtube and i haven't kept up with the beauty side for a while but i was IN it for several years and at this point it seems like the most normal one left is the OG michelle phan and she's in a quantum physics healing magic cult!!

You know, I don't entirely get where the tension between Virgil and Patton came from.

Like, I get that Virgil didn't like Patton treating him like a harmless little angel, in Virgil's own words, but in the very same video they were still acting like friends??? Virgil didn't seem mad or upset, he was just expressing his feelings and Patton listened.

Then in the next video it was like a switch flipped. Sure Virgil was frustrated the others weren't taking him seriously, but Patton was still making an effort to do as he asked and validate his feelings. Still though Virgil was a bit harsh towards him.

Then it just kinda went downhill from there. I get now why Virgil might be upset with Patton what with him and Janus being friends but before that? I don't get it.

seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything
