Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5C4R is to be given standard foundation living quarters as well as appropriate meals when asked. SCP-5C4R is allowed to cook or bake in the commonplace kitchen. He is also allowed to freely roam and interact on the Safe Sites of the foundation. He is not permitted near the Euclid Sites and especially not permitted near the Keter Sites. There is no need for special containment procedures, just the standard rules and regulations (he is to be given no weapons, no information, etc). SCP-5C4R-1 is also permitted anywhere SCP-5C4R is. Be careful not to let her in to dangerous sites; she is fast, she can and will run between foundation members legs to get somewhere.

Addendum SCP-5C4R-1: If you encounter SCP-5C4R-1, please do not feed her any treats. SCP-5C4R gives her enough treats. She has already had to go on a diet, which SCP-5C4R was very upset about.

Yes, foundation members are permitted to pet SCP-5C4R-1. She is just as safe as SCP-5C4R.

Description: SCP-5C4R appears to be a twenty six (26) year old Caucasian man of American decent, approximately two (2) meters in height. He has brown hair with green eyes and wears any of the clothes the foundation provides to him. He doesn't seem to have a preference in clothing and often changes his style. Sometimes, he will allow his hair to grow long. Other times, he will keep his hair short. Because SCP-5C4R interacts with the foundation members often, there is no need to put a restriction on this.

SCP-5C4R is very kind and cooperative with the foundation members. He doesn't seem to mind the foundation, nor does he seem to care about the questions we ask. He answers them very honestly, even cracking a few jokes, or he explains how uncomfortable he is and doesn't answer.

SCP-5C4R seems to be a normal man, however, he is completely immune to everything. With permission, we have tested the following objects to see if it would hurt him.

Knife: Used to create lacerations on forearm

Sword: Used to attempt to remove arm

Acid: Used on hands

Gun: Used to shoot

Nothing hurt SCP-5C4R. He only complained about the acid, saying it merely "felt uncomfortable." Along with being unharmed, anytime a wound was afflicted on SCP-5C4R, a scar appeared on his body. The scars are not permanent, they only stay on SCP-5C4R's body for six (6) months, which is the only indication that he has been harmed.

Along with SCP-5C4R, there is SCP-5C4R-1. She is an American Shorthair cat. She is SCP-5C4R's pet and follows him almost everywhere. She, like SCP-5C4R, is also immune to everything. We have not tested any objects on her, she has just gotten in the crossfire of incidents, but was left unharmed. SCP-5C4R has also confirmed that SCP-5C4R-1 is immune to everything like him.

jon: common raven

this was a choice i made before i even finished listening to the podcast back in 2020. jon's 1000% a bird to me, and the curious nature of corvids works well here. plus, i think a bird so universally ominous as a raven works perfectly as a horror protag :P i used to draw raven!jon with a couple troodon traits, mostly just cus it was fun, but i wanted to make my designs more grounded for this iteration. made them plantigrade, didn't get silly with body styles like i have with mp100 designs.

martin: tan jumping spider

if you've been here for a while you'll know that my furry martin has gone through about two million iterations. he started off as a european pine marten, to bold jumping spider, to chinese pangolin, to nine-banded armadillo, finally to nurse shark.

out of all of these the spider and the shark are my favorites. i wanted to go back to the jumping spider though- the design is really fun and i wasn't able to get the expressions right, but i'm more confident in my skills now and i'm having fun with the design. i may revisit nurse shark at some point. i switched from bold to tan jumper- i originally chose bold just cus they're my favorite jumper, but their stark black/white and iridescent aqua coloration just doens't work for martin. so, the tan jumper!

sasha: southern flannel moth

another old choice. species chosen because of a friend's fic, pharos by right (another i'm planning to reread now that i'm dipping my toes back into tma..)! southern flannel moths are poofy and orange, and their caterpillars are those super painful teddybear ones. i really like the design.

not!sasha: red postman

wanted to have her be another lepidopteran, and with all the many examples of mimicry among the group i thought red postman was a fun choice. doesn't look anything like a southern flannel moth, but that's sort of the point.

tim: jackson's chameleon

yet another choice from the oldtimes- most of the main characters are, i've mostly switched around the more secondary chars. first suggested, i believe, by @/ofdreamsanddoodles. i think there's something very fun about chameleons being basically a living mood ring & tim's Descent s1-3 showing physcially not just through the worm scars but through like, constant stress coloration during s3.

melanie: eastern copperhead

one of my favorite choices. i have a young copperhead specimen named after her. this one is quite vibes-based, but i do really like the copperhead as a viper that is not deadly. and i'm always a sucker for the "animal perceived as scary and violent that in actuality only strikes when under extreme stress" thing in furry assignments.

georgie: triceratops horridus

another favorite choice. visually, i really like how this works out, and trikes as a social and protective animal works well. she's literally got a shield on her face. horridus was chosen because i like the shape of the head and horns better than prorsus.

basira: domestic cat (calico shorthair)

got a little cat/dog thing going on for dasira. i like the inversion of the usual cat/dog dynamic with their unhealthy devotion instead, and visually it just works very well for them both.

daisy: domestic dog (german shepherd)

yeah i know this one's an exceedingly obvious choice.

elias: barn owl. jonah: eurasian eagle owl.

it's the institute logo! it's him! barn owl for elias specifically because of its very sleek look, designing him went fantastically. also, i can make the eagle owl's face disk work as a mimicry of ben meredith's muttonchops, which i think is a fun design bit to give to magnus.

gerry: domestic dog (black doberman)

certified gerryguy @/gerrydelano's choice. to quote a discord message from 3 years ago (sorry ron): "i feel like.........my INSTINCT is some kind of canine because like. the whole symbolism thing about being either an obedient or rabid dog. something something muzzled all your life. being a dangerous figure if people only see the silhouette but you just want scritches and nobody'll get close enough to you." black dog symbolism + breed which has ears cropped and tail docked, unecessarily molded for a Purpose which the dog has no say in

annabelle: white-booted racket-tail

sort of my original choice- she used to be part white-booted racket-tail, part anna's hummingbird. kept with the racket-tail cus it's fun and very cute. i've had a couple people express surprise that she wasn't a spider, but i think that's way too obvious. hummingbirds, though- they steal the webs of spiders to use as material to make their nests, but can sometimes become trapped in the webs and eaten by the spiders themselves. which is probably the metaphor-via-fursona-assignment i'm most proud of in this whole list

jane: cabbage white

the cabbage white is a butterfly whose caterpillars are routinely parasitized by the parasitoid wasp the white butterfly parasite. in case you're not familiar, parasitoid wasps lay their eggs on (usually) caterpillars, which hatch on the still-living caterpillar, devouring it from the inside before eventually emerging from the consumed husk of the host. also, i really liked the image of parasitoid wasp larvae emerging from an adult butterfly, rather than a caterpillar.

michael: spiny softshell turtle

for michael and helen, i wanted to choose animals which were, in some way, their own home. turtle is an obvious choice- and spiny softshells are a favorite of mine, and sufficiently strange-looking.

helen: common hermit crab

oliver: black vulture

bit of an obvious choice, but i adore vultures so i had to. black vulture chosen because i think the monochrome color scheme + straighter face work better than a turkey vulture for him

peter: risso's dolphin

i really like the idea of a cetacean for peter and the lukases as a whole, a famously social animal for the seemingly contradictory nature of this lonely-but-huge family, plus with so many cetaceans being endangered getting that lonely angle (risso's specifically are not, though, as peter is lonely through his own choice, not by circumstance).

mike: caelestiventus hanseni

it's a dimorphodont. he feels like a pterosaur to me, and i like the idea of a vast avatar as a usually short-flying arboreal species, for the unnaturality/contrast of it.

jude: black kite

black kites are one of the species of kites known to intentionally spread fires by picking up burning sticks to flush out prey.

vaguely russian animals that are large and imposing but remain somewhat generic. which is the hog and which is the bear is not consistent.

dekker: mouflon

dekker has very much mammal vibes to me. the mouflon is a neat species of wild sheep. i think the noble, imposing but kind image of the ram works well for dekker as that sort of true-good hero figure, and mouflons in particular are very nice looking with good shapes. the statement giver in distant cousin describes dekker as "though he was slightly shorter than I was, it seemed like he towered over me." which i think this sheep works well with.

gertrude: great tit

i wanted all the main eye avatars as birds, just like how i give them all glasses. just a fun little treat for me. great tit was chosen for gertrude as a kind of classic british bird, and as tits in general are VERY fiesty despite their round and adorable appearance. i really like this image of a great tit posing with a dead mouse like it's a hunter with a trophy deer. the cheek markings also work really well to bring to mind the image of old person jowls.

leitner: domestic cat (persian)

vibes. also i like the idea of him as a spoiled domestic animal. if i remember correctly, this was also @/ofdreamsanddoodles' suggestion

manuela: gray long-eared bat

she's a bat. what's to say. WELL actually okay there's the perception of bats as blind but actually having quite good vision which i think meshes in a fun way with the dark, and the way manuela does her sciency stuff.

largely design-oriented, suitably scruffy. ocean animal with strong social bonds, it was a slam dunk soon as i thought of it.

He doesn't look unlike a lynx point siamese to me? But I don't know enough about siamese rescues to be confident that all the cats there will actually be siamese and not just random colorpoints.

any more alice facts? i really like your take on her!!

Of course! They're a bit lengthy. But these are just a few thoughts that I've had about her on some days.

Other than her chemistry fixation in her youth, Alice's other hobbies were insect taxidermy, a hobby she got from her adoptive mother. She liked to mount and frame butterflies and moths more than any other species. She still has a few hanging up on her room walls.

She picked up a bit of poetry in her adult, pre-Alice years and took up writing a bit of her own. She has never shared these older poems however, because she made them as a ways to vent and is full of abstract and pretty frustrating, lonely thoughts. Now her poems are very surreal and chaotic, but with a sense of innocent curiosity to them.

Alice learned self defense ever since moving to Gotham, but she learned how to use a gun from her ex boyfriend. She doesn't really use one in any of her weapons, but she knows how to use one if the need ever arises.

At some point in their life, Alice would get a pet as a gift from Jervis, which later on becomes like a companion that helps her in plans. I cant decide which one atm, but it would either be a white rabbit (a typical American White) named Jasper OR a cat (a brown british shorthair), whom she'd also name Dinah.

Alice has more than one dress in many different colors, but she would always say that the yellow dress was just the one that spoke to her the most. The yellow dress was inspired both by the first colored versions of Tenniel's "Nursery Alice" illustrations AND by the 1999 Alice in Wonderland movie (one of my fave adaptations btw) 💙

Other than making things bigger and smaller, Alice has also made other early formulas for personal interest, like being able to change the natural taste and smell of things, eyedrops that form an outer coat that helps see twice as clearer and protects around foreign bodies like water, sand, dirt, etc, and even a temporary outer layer of skin like armor inspired by the exoskeleton of bugs, among other things. But, as you can guess, those things never really got far off the ground or approved of by her higherups.

Removed his ankle stripes and simplified his tail for a more animator-friendly design.

Changed his mane to be more fire-like.

Altered his proportions and face shapes to match the breeds.

General Notes:

Cobby body shape. Body is roughly as long (excluding tail) as it is tall (excluding head & tail), and is bulky.

Wide head. Muzzle does not break oval when mouth is closed.

Face and neck fur should always point upwards.

Tail should point upwards unless necessary for emotion.

Wide set, large ears like the British Longhair.

Eyes are big, wide, and a round rectangle shape. Friendly, approachable look.

Heart on head is replaced with star after he receives his nine lives.

To start, Kaneko is the fusion of @nintendoneko64’s OC Neko and my Fix-ItFelixJrAU!Kane Candy.

To understand at FFJAU!Kane Candy, he is Turbo if he didn’t try to delete Vanellope and he instead became the glitch of Sugar Rush. As the same case is with FFJAU!Turbo, FFJAU!Kane Candy still suffers from PTSD and he is very reserved socially, but he has made progress in separating himself from his past.

In the same way that FFJAU!Turbo does in fusions, Kane also brings the element of his PTSD into his fusion, making the bond slightly tensed. The reason Kaneko has an arm more than the Dib and FFJAU!Turbo fusion Cassette is because Kane’s preferred anti-social lifestyle actually conflicts with Neko’s excitable personality. Though the fusion isn’t so dangerously unstable, it’s not the most compatible either. The bond is just right there in the middle of stable and unstable.

Functionality wise, the upper arms are controlled by Neko, while the lower arms are controlled by Kane. It should be noted that both the hands on the lower arms only have a total of 4 fingers, thumb included. As for the features of Kaneko’s cat ears and tail, they are designed after the American Shorthair breed of cat.

It should be noted that Kaneko leans more feminine in their fusion. If she were to have a voice actress, it’d probably be Tress MacNeille- preferably her Dot Warner voice.

Welcome back to Hypokits! @fernstarsblog asked for black tabby British shorthair!Gray/Maine coon and colorpoint!Silver/ginger American longhair!Sand, @littlewolfo asked for Squirrel/Jessy/Leaf, and @thebluemc asked for SpottedScourge!

In the first AU, Gray and Sand are dating when Silver rescues Gray from the river. The three are excited when Silver gets pregnant, but tragedy strikes and Silver passes into Starclan. The kits are brought to Thunderclan but visit their grandfather in Riverclan on a monthly basis. When Sand becomes pregnant they two nearly have heart attacks but Silver descends and assures them it’s cool. Antkit grows up with a mom, a ghost mom, and a dad.

The second AU, I’ve been told in the ask, is a weird story, so this AU will be a guess. If I’m right @littlewolfo, message me please! So, perhaps Squirrel left with Jessy, and they made their way to Skyclan. Perhaps a love connection happened. Perhaps ;)

And in the last AU, Bluefur brings an injured Tiny back to camp, and Tiger and Thistle are Grounded immediately. Tiny is taken in by Sunstar, Thrushpelt, and Bluestar, and grows into a fine warrior. When Spottedpaw starts getting Creeped On by Thistle, she talks to Thrushpelt and Coldcry overhears, and he Yeets Thistle into a tree, nearly bodying him before Sunstar intervenes. Thistle is banished, and Spottedpaw becomes the first cat to Dual-Wield rolls - she’s a healer and a hunter, but does not fight other cats. The two dance around each other until Bluestar and Redtail shove them together and say Now Kiss

Yume Neko Sumairu (AKA Dream Cat Smile) (AKA Hasbro FurReal Kitty Cat) Sega Toys, Tokyo, Japan (2006). This robotic American Shorthair cat was developed in collaboration with Hasbro. "The robot weighs around 4.5 lbs and is covered in incredibly soft life-like fur. It can blink, move its mouth and neck, rear up and lie down, and make purring, meowing sounds. If you mistakenly upset it by squeezing its tail, it will even produce hissing sounds. … It has five touch sensors located in different places on its body, allowing you to engage in tactile communication with it. Petting the robocat on its head will make it start purring and flicking its tail. Stroking it on its back makes it sleepy. And if you need to get on with your life and leave Yume Neko alone, it will fall asleep, snore and conveniently settle down into a low-power mode. The cat is nearly perfect, except for a few downsides such as you can hear the motors whirring inside its body, and unlike the real thing, Yume Neko provides no warmth when you cuddle it. Still, the cat is said to be effective in helping ease tension. As stated in the blog description I am not affiliated with any of the organizations whose adoptable cats are featured here. The information presented in the posts is publicly available, I am only drawing attention to it.

I encourage you to always do your research before you adopt or purchase a pet. Just as there are bad breeders there are bad rescues and shelters.

* Breed will be listed based on apparent breed and not listed breed, as rescue and shelters often mislabel cats under the assumption that their breeds function similarly to dogs. Unless I have reason to believe it is a genuine breed or breed mix I will label them as Domestic Shorthair or Domestic Longhair.

I may occasionally share retired breeding cats.

** The majority of adoptable cats will be from Canada and the United States as these are the countries where Petfinder is available.

I will consider cats to be seniors and eligible for sharing here when estimated at 10+ years.

Here is an incomplete list of qualifying disabilities: Allergies, Amputation, Blindness, Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Chronic Kidney Disease, Enucleation, Deafness, Diabetes, FeLV/FIV+, Hyperthyroidism, Manx Syndrome, Neoplasia, Scottish Fold Osteochondrodysplasia, Seizure Disorder.

I consider declawed cats to be disabled due to having multiple amputations which often result in chronic pain, inappropriate elimination and increased quickness to bite.

You are welcome to submit cats you would like to see featured, but please include a link to their original adoption listing.

You are welcome to make requests to see more cats from a particular area, of a specific breed or color, with a particular health condition, and so forth. I cannot guarantee these requests will be met.

Due to the time sensitive nature of these posts this blog will rarely use a queue and will instead posts in spurts.

You may make requests to see more of a particular breed, location, or health condition. These will be answered in the body of the ask instead of as seperate posts in order to avoid clutter.

My Characters

Darian (#darian📚)

Age: Twenty-four Race: Lucern (child of the night) Breed: Maine Coon Appearance: He has bat-like wings and ears. Black fur with wispy grey edges. His eyes glow light grey to match, as does the webbing of his wings and his paw pads. Outfit: He has a pair of round, silver glasses and wears a set black and flexible leather armor. On the front is the goddess' symbol. Personality: Stern, professional, harsh, and secretly very motherly.

A loyal guard of the goddess herself, tasked to care for her assets...chosen pupils. He carries out his tasks in the capital city, though is known to travel quite a lot. He does not believe forces in which he can not see (including the elements, not believing they have wills of their own).

So he came to the one force in this world he does know exists, The Goddess, to conduct change within the world. He trained hard to get his position and leave Society Luna for good. He sees the people back home, worshippers of the moon, as foolish cats who are simply holding onto false hope. Though the goddess' actions are cold, he justifies them as cruelty sometimes being necessary. Which is interesting considering he avoids outright cruelty himself.

Selene (#sel🌙)

Age: Twenty-five Race: Stell (child of the constellations), The Shades mix (child of the shadows) Breed: Bengal cat Appearance: Has a deep, dark blue and translucent body. His constellations, stripes, and spots were black in hue, as are his eyes. Both constantly flicker. The lack of coloring extends to the tips of his tail, ears, and paws, making them difficult to see in certain lights. Outfit: A hood and cloak. Personality: Shy, curious, and, though he is gentle, he has a fierce side.

Darian's husband, a dim Stell that fell from the celestial plane and has been weak ever since. Now lives in the capital city. Rarely talks but treats those around him with kindness and patience. Most would never guess the darker magic seeping through his veins, the infection of the shade not showing outright in his form, other than his eyes, which suspiciously glow in the dark.

Sel and Darian having their wedding rings on their tails respectively. They are both silver and ornate looking.

Crackle (#crackle🦋)

Age: Eighteen Race: Molten (child of fire) Breed: Ragdoll Appearance: Orange in color with more yellow markings around his mouth and eyes, and on the tips of his paws and ears. He has yellow eyes. Made out of lava. Short in stature. Outfit: Protective gear consisting of a strong suit and helmet with glass so he can see. Personality: Skittish, shy, and extremely caring to a fault.

One of the goddess' pupils, currently being looked after by Darian and comes with him on many of his travels. Never knew his parents or his birth name.

Exspir (#exspir🌱)

Age: Twenty-two Race: Radius turned Glade (child of the sky, child of the day) Breed: American Shorthair/steller's jay Appearance: His eyes are dark blue. He has black talons and feathery wings. The bottom of his body is a stone blue, while the top is black with slightly brighter blue, feathery accents, including his stripes on his back and tail. There is also blue at the edge of his wings and dots like freckles on his snout. He has black feathers sticking up from his head. His sunlight shows from his ears, which radiate white light, as does the fur on his chest, the webbing of his wings, and the edges of his ears.  Personality: Distant, a bit gruff, lonely and depressed, secretly self conscious with faked pride, and has paranoia issues. 

Exspir is cursed with a corrupted seed of magic, its power running off pure emotion and requiring most of his energy. He does not remember how he got them, he was simply born with this condition, which caused him to be a major concern from birth.

Diana (#diana💜📔)

Age: Twenty-one Race: Crystalor turned Beloved (child of the sky, child of the goddess) Breed: Birman  Appearance: Long haired cat with a gray coat and purple, crystal accents along her chest and the side of her thighs. There are also some at the end of her tail and her beloved horn/wings are made purely of crystal as well. Her eyes are purple. However, upon being sent to The Nowhere Isles, Diana is stripped of her magic, with scars replacing where her horn and wings once were. Personality: Shy, kind, and clever.

Previously being one of the goddess' beloved ones, she gave up her position to study The Nowhere Isles instead.

Q: I like Lost Universe, and I watched the manga and anime as well as the original. I think it's probably the first time I've been hooked. My question is, do you have any plans for a sequel? It's probably a long time ago, so I think it's too late now, but I think it would be nice if it came out.

Kanzaka: ``It's difficult to create new enemies, and if I do, it will ruin the work, so there are no plans.''

Q: I have a question about Lina’s sister. In an interview with Reading, it was said that demons "pretend not to see" her, but is that the existence of Ceifeed Knight itself? Or is it in recognition of the existence of Luna Inverse as an individual?

KANZAKA: "As a demon tribe, they don't need to draw that line, they judge it as 'an existence that is best left untouched.'"

Q: When Zel was human, before he was turned into a chimera, did he ever think of disappearing from Rezo's life, saying, "No, he's going to eat my life away.” It doesn't seem like such a difficult thing to do, since Lina in the Specials is traveling alone at the age of 13.

If it is possible that the teenage Zel didn't have the ability to travel alone like Lina, I, as a Zel fan, can't stop crying, but what do you think, Mr. Kanzaka?

KANZAKA: "Zel realized that 'you did a lot of things to me!' ' and it was probably only after he was chimerized that he realized it. 　Zel: ‘I’m unhappy!' 　Rezo, 'Do you want some power?' 　Zel: "Yes, give it to me. 　And so on.

Q: Regarding Zelgadis' physical strength, I know that normal swords and other blades can't pierce it, but are blows and strangles effective? Other than mental attacks, are there any other attacks that do the most damage?

KANZAKA: Only the surface of the body is hardened, and the internal organs are intact (it feels like it has both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton), so hits and joints work well. Impact damage is particularly effective."

Q: Are there events like Valentine's Day in the world of Slayers?

KANZAKA: There is no Valentine's Day per se, but there are various anniversaries. However, anniversaries (royal birthdays, etc.) vary from country to country, so the only common one throughout the country is the year-end and New Year's holidays.

Q: Is the character of subordinate S in the postscript that of Lei Magnus?　Or is it that of Shabranigdu, the man who hijacked(?) Lei Magnus?

KANZAKA: "I'm not sure which is his basic personality, but I think he's having a good time since he got his turn."

Q: This is about shadow binding. Lina-san explains in the work that "it requires technique", but what kind of technique is this? Personally, I had thought that a technique that interferes with the opponent from the mental world aspect would require skill, but when I was talking with a fellow Sule fan, I got the suspicion that knife throwing requires advanced skill, a physical skill that I never thought I would have. What is the technique of shadow binding, Senseiー!

KANZAKA: "Of course, knife-throwing technique is a minimum requirement, but it also requires subtle control of the astral plane in terms of influencing the opponent from the astral realm."

Q: Due to the image of the anime, Lina's magic seems to be fireballs and dragon slaves, but putting aside how often she uses them, what magic does she think she is "best at" and what magic does she "love" the most?

KANZAKA: "If you ask her what she is [good at], she would say 'dragon slave'. If asked what she [likes], I think she would answer 'Lei Wing'."

Q; Which type of purebred cat do you like? I like mixed breeds the best, but if I'm purebred, I like Munchkins. I can't get enough of that long torso and short legs.

KANZAKA: ``My favorite purebred cat is American shorthair. It's an orthodox answer, but I think it's wonderful because it has a good balance of cuteness.''

Q: From the description in the postscript, it seems that the Demon Blood Talisman was originally owned by Lei Magnus, but how did Lei Magnus get it?

KANZAKA: I believe that he first obtained the demon blood ball of the Red-Eyed Demon King who was close to him, and then used its magical power as a foothold to obtain the other three by using extensive ritual magic."

Q:  Many people in the Slayers world live middle class level lives, but is the social system more advanced than one might expect? I think you once said something like, "Because of magic, there is not much research on the scientific side.

KANZAKA: "Aside from science, there has been a certain amount of development in the area of magic, so I think that food production is stable to a certain extent.

To give an example, there is magic to produce water, so extreme water shortages will not occur. Of course, self-sufficiency is not completely stable, but deadly famines are rare."

Sept 2011 

Q: In volume 4, it was mentioned that if you are a demon, you can tell the other's magic capacity just by looking at them, but the fact that Sherra is trying to find the Demon King using Dulgoffa and the demons who made a contract with Rezo are unaware that the Demon King is sealed means that even if they have a piece of the Demon King, their magic capacity is the same as other humans unless they awaken?

KANZAKA: "In the first place, just because a person has a large magical capacity does not mean that he or she is a Demon King. Besides, the demon tribe does not exactly know the margin of error of the human's magical capacity. There are also cases of mixed race."

The rest of the questions are not Slayers, Lost Universe or cat related.

Q: Have any demons died of boredom?

KANZAKA: "Let's put aside the question of whether they feel boredom in the first place. Just as there are people who describe themselves as 'dying of boredom,' but no one actually dies, there are no demons who have died (or disappeared)."

Q: My cousin's cat won't play with me!! Do you have any recommendations for how to play?

KANZAKA: ``The pattern differs depending on the cat's personality...if there is a way to get any cat to interact with me, I would definitely like to know as well.''

Q: In volume 15 of Slayers, when we saw Rubia's greenhouse, Lina said that high quality glass requires a craftsman with a certain skill in its production, making it an expensive object. On the other hand, in the last scene of DEPESHARU vol. 12, "The Pearl in My Hand," Lina used a "cheap glass ball" as a dummy for the orb. If a glass sphere is good enough to resemble an orb, it should be close to a true sphere and have high transparency, but is it possible to make such a sphere cheaply with the glass processing technology of this world?

KANZAKA: "Naturally, glass that resembles an orb has a cheap price. I only mean that it is much cheaper than the real thing.”

Q: There was news that neutrinos were faster than light, but what do you think about that? I remember you were complaining before about whether there was a way to break the speed of light...?

KANZAKA: There are rumors that the accuracy of the measurements is questionable at this point.
