If you're still doing this, top 5 ouat arcs and top 5 villains?

I am still doing these! I’ve just been busy over the last week (and also I take ages writing very long winded answers). These were such good asks, thank you so much anon! <3

Top 5 arcs:

1. Season 1

Maybe this will surprise people but I won’t deny that I actually really had to force myself to get through the first season of ouat. On my first watch my fave characters were Regina and Rumple (because at least they were funny and therefore entertaining) and I just wasn’t gripped by any of the rest of them. Then I finished up to season 5 (since s6 hadn’t aired) and...rewatched it. And it is was so much better on rewatch. Yes, there are still bits I don’t like about season 1 (the love triangle with snow/david/kathryn still annoys me and I will never not be furious about the graham situation and just how poorly that storyline played out.) but the rest of it? Incredible. Everything just felt so balanced and well thought through. Yes, it was still a show about fairy tale characters (specifically...disney characters) but in season 1 all their stories felt mature and considered (instead of gimmicky). The wardrobe plot? Genius. And I just love the way they set up Storybrooke as a place and how we slowly get to know who each of it’s denizens are.

2. Season 3A

Season 3A was my fave season for a long time. Why? Because it’s gooooood! Pan is fun. I like the ‘Pan is actually Rumple’s horrible dad’ plot twist. I like Rumple’s character growth in his arc. I like Neal and Henry and their interactions. I like Emma’s character growth and how she comes to a lot of realisations about herself in this arc. I like that turmoil that Snow and David are separately experiencing (David’s thing with the dreamshade and Snow feeling guilty that she feels angry about missing out on Emma’s childhood). And I like some of the new characters introduced like Tinker Bell. I just feel like there’s a lot of good and interesting character development going on in 3A and overall I really like it for that.

3. Season 2

Season 2 is just Season 1 but with a bit more emphasis on the fairy tale part...and that’s why it’s good. I love the vast range of characters that we get to see and how much fun Once has in introducing every fairy tale character they possibly can. Mulan gets her debut! I love Tiny and that he finds a family with the dwarves, Cora is a pretty fun villain and I’m glad we get to see more of Victor’s backstory as well. There are a whole host of really great episodes in this season and I really like it <3

4. Season 4A

4A would be potentially higher on this list if it wasn’t for its pitfalls. The good parts about 4A were the Snow Queen’s arc (which did not get enough screen time) and all the bits to do with Emma’s past and childhood. Loved all of it. The issues I have with 4A stem from the frozen plot line. Now let me just say that frozen is easily one of my fave disney movies, so of COURSE I was pleased to see frozen characters. But I just wish that it had been a cameo instead of taking up the whole arc. And I also wish that they’d changed the damn costuming for the frozen characters as well. Poor Elsa being stuck in that dress for the entire arc was just heartbreaking. The whole thing felt like a cash grab and I just wanted it to be executed so much better than it was. THAT SAID I did still like it and yes I like this arc a lot overall.

5. Season 4B

This is just a FUN arc. I love the Queens of Darkness so I’ll admit that’s a big factor for me but also I love the emphasis on family in this arc. Obviously, you do have the turmoil between Emma and her parents and honestly I’m less keen on that whole plot line but on the flipside you have characters like Maleficent and her broken relationship with her daughter. Or maybe I AM just swayed by the Queens of Darkness

TOP 5 VILLAINS:

1. Jafar (OUATIW)

And yet another reason as to why OUATIW is so good... I won’t spoil too much in case there are those of you that would like to watch Wonderland and haven’t just yet, but..he’s just fabulous, I swear. Genuinely threatening and evil, but also suave and sexy, he makes for a pretty decent villain. But it’s what’s underneath it all that really pushes him to be a great villain. He has one of the most harrowing tragic childhood backstories out of any ouat character but he isn’t given a redemption arc because of it. We have a better understanding of his anger and why he did what he did. We have genuine sympathy towards his character. But it doesn’t change his status as a villain and I just think he has one of the most mature character arcs of any villain in ouat and that some of ouat’s other villains could have benefited from a similar narrative themselves.

2. Cruella de Vil

I mentioned her on my top 5 character list so I won’t ramble but she’s just FUN. I’m sure most of you have already seen that post floating around in response to the new Cruella movie, and how ouat’s Cruella backstory worked so well, and that post sums it up pretty perfectly. The show tries to make you think that a tragic backstory is going to play out...but it doesn’t. And she was just...an evil murderer that likes manipulating people and having her own way. She’s over the top and ridiculous and I never thought I would see Cruella de Vil playing angry birds on screen.

3. Zelena Mills

Zelena! is! a! fun! villain! Idk guys, I just feel like Zelena gets a lot of hate from fandom in a way that almost none of the other villains do. Is she a terrible person? obviously, yes. But she’s so uncompromisingly evil and she has FUN while she does it and I can’t not love and respect that. I think that her villain origin story is a little weak at times (the jealousy angle is obviously a necessity but also a little overplayed at times) but overall I just love her dry humour and snarky little comments and I think she’s lots of fun.

4. Rumplestlistkin

I care a lot less about Rumple post season 3 but I will say that overall I think he’s a really enjoyable character and a fun villain. Imp!Rumple in particular is super fun (although I really like his Mr. Gold alter ego almost as much). He’s chaotic on the surface but meticulous and calculating on the inside and that makes for a thoroughly enjoyable villain. Killing him off at the end of season 3A would have been a better narrative arc for his character...but I won’t deny that I would have been sad to see him go so early on and the show wouldn’t have been the same without him.

5. Maleficent

Mal is a little different to the others on this list because actually I really like (I’m not quite sure that you can call it a redemption arc, per se, but) the sympathy her character is given. She was always a pretty neutral villain. She mostly seemed to just mind her own business unless she was provoked. And then she had her child stolen from her and I really did feel for her. She’s badass, cool and sexy and I hope she and Lily are having some nice mother-daughter bonding moments in Storybrooke or wherever they are. (Plus that suit is one of the best villain looks in the entire show).

A/N: I'm afraid the story is only getting longer, this chapter especially. My apologies. I'm trying to stop. This ball scene of Lady Westford's got away from me. I can only blame myself. On the bright side two characters from Choices: Desire and Decorum make a cameo for a brief moment.

Summary: It is the evening of Lady Amanda’s first ball of the London Season. She encounters old friends and wins over those closest to Lord Thomas. The viscount continues to deny his growing feelings for the lady while his friends both tease and plan.

Chapter 3

"I understand that Lord Hunt escorted you to the opera the other evening." Lady Clara Mills and Ms. Annabelle Parsons smiled at Amanda's blush. "He is considered a matrimonial prize among the eligible ladies."

"Oh?" Amanda handed her empty glass to a passing servant and leaned closer to her friends. "What else have you heard?"

Ms. Parsons lowered her voice. "I have heard that he is not frequenting the local hells like he used to." Her dark eyes rested on Amanda and she smiled. "Perhaps they do not hold the allure that they once did."

Amanda flicked her fan open and attempted to cool her heated cheeks. "Or perhaps he does not wish to waste his fortune gambling."

Lady Clara laughed and looped her arm through Amanda's. "Come now. After all our adventures in Bath, do you not think we deserve to hear what has happened with that particular gentleman.

Ms. Parsons' eyes twinkled with mischief. "I am not above resorting to blackmail."

Amanda's smile appeared. "At Almacks he offered to escort Aunt Lucy and I to the opera."

"Oh the fortune I could have made if I had possessed that information. No one could believe he set foot in that matchmaking arena." Annabelle shook her head in mock sadness.

"Hush Annabelle." Clara whispered when a few gentlemen walked by. Once they were out of earshot she giggled and demanded to hear the rest. "Did anything else occur? What about the night of the opera? Were any promises made?"

"No." Amanda's brow puckered. "I do not think he is looking for a wife."

Annabelle said with a sly look. "What man is?"

The three laughed quietly. Clara looked up and her smile grew when she saw the subject of their conversation walking in. "Are you certain the viscount is uninterested?"

"I am fairly certain. He seemed rather cold with his parting." Amanda explained as she looked over at him talking to Lord Summers and another gentleman. Her eyes shined when she noticed a laughing pair of blue eyes looking their way. "Millie!"

Lady Millicient Rawlings joined their group and pressed her cheek to each. "Oh thank heavens you are all here! I thought I would be forced to go through another season on my own."

Annabelle and Clara shared a glance. "Actually, you two will have to suffer without us."

"What?! Why? You would leave us to fend for ourselves amongst the wolves?" Millie exclaimed.

"We are returning to Edgewater to prepare for my wedding." Clara explained. Her happiness was nearly bubbling over. "My prince is returning in two months and we will hold the ceremony at the estate's chapel. You will come, won't you?"

"Of course we will." Amanda promised.

"Though we will miss you dreadfully." Millie added. "Promise to return to London if you find you do not have much to do."

Clara laughed. "We swear."

The two parted from Millie and Amanda as they had another party to attend. Millie linked her arm with Amanda's. "And then there were two."

She laughed and nodded toward some of the gentlemen. "Who has caught your eye this season?"

Millie blew a frustrated breath. "None. If I have to overhear how my dowry makes me more attractive, I shall take what Father has settled on me and move to another country. Perhaps Italy. My cousin says it is lovely there."

"I had a gentleman call who could only speak about Snowfield. Do they all do that? Is this what I am to expect to happen during my London season?" Amanda asked warily.

Millie shrugged. "Some of the suitors are like that. Then there are those who pretend to compliment you yet are staring at what you can bring them. There are a few who are hopeless romantics, writing sonnets of how the moonlight causes a halo to form about your head, thus rendering the viewer incoherent."

Amanda snorted and quickly covered the action with her fan. "Millie! Did someone write that about you?"

"I might injure myself if I reproduce the groan I gave when Sir Peter did that very thing the other day." Millie replied, smiling at Amanda's struggle to not laugh.

"You do not offer me much encouragement with our choices." Amanda said in the midst of giggling.

"We do have other sets of gentleman to admire. We have the rakes and then the Rakes." Millie stressed the last.

"Oh." Amanda's hazel eyes scanned the crowd and landed on Thomas. She felt heat creep up her face when she found his own dark brown eyes straight at her. He inclined his head in acknowledgement, which she reciprocated.

"Lord Hunt is most assuredly a Rake." Millie decided.

"How can you tell?" Amanda asked.

"He doesn't have to do anything to gain a lady's attention. He never boasts of his conquests yet we all know he must have many. He shuns the matchmaking mothers and they still adore him! It is both vexing and tempting to associate with this type of gentleman." Millie let out a soft sigh as she observed the other gentlemen Thomas stood with.

Amanda cut her eyes to her. "You sound as if you have had your own Rake to deal with."

Millie blushed and nervously twisted the dark blonde curl draping her shoulder. "Indeed. I am well acquainted with this type of gentleman."

"I could scarcely believe it when Ryan told me. Did you truly brave the trenches at Almacks for one lady?" Sir Christopher Winters asked.

"It is not what you think." Thomas muttered, turning

"He's giving the rest of us a bad reputation. Now all the ladies expect us to tow the line and court them." Ryan explained.

"I am not courting Lady Amanda. I had a free moment here and there and--"

"And chose to spend it with her." Ryan reminded him. Thomas became silent with the realization that he had no leg to stand on in this argument.

"Well, I for one would like to meet this lady. After all Summers has shared, I think she might be quite amusing." Chris turned his head and searched about. "Which lady is she?"

Thomas glowered at his two closest friends as his temper reached its boiling point. "She is more than simply amusing. Do not bother her with your idiocy." He stormed off and left them grinning.

"I told him the other day that he could not resist paying Lady Amanda compliments or being by her side." Ryan explained.

Chris chuckled. "That explains why he has remained with us so long and been completely miserable." He continued to observe the ladies in the room, trying to guess which one caught Hunt's fancy.

"I will introduce you." Ryan began to navigate through the crowd. "Damn." He muttered. "Of all people who could latch on to her, why did it have to be that one?"

"Who?" Chris demanded. "I say Summers, point out who you are talking about. After my tour on the continent, I am unable to recall anyone."

"There. The dark headed lady in purple is Lady Amanda Bridgerton. The lighter colored one glaring at me is Lady Millicient Rawlings. Beware of that serpent. Her bite is equal to her venom. My wounds still smart." He mumbled.

"Ah, yes. The lovely Lady Millie. Buck up, man. She will not attack at this ball. Now hurry and introduce me. I promised Father, I would meet him at the club later." Chris pushed Ryan on.

"Ladies." Ryan bowed to them both. "What a delight it is to see such perfect examples of feminine beauty."

Amanda smiled warmly and held her hand out. Millie stuck her nose in the air, only giving the minimal acknowledgement one must to a marquis.

Ryan grinned at the two opposites before him. "Lady Amanda, allow me to present Sir Christopher Winters. Chris, this is Lady Amanda Bridgerton of Snowfield Abbey."

The young man's smile was infectious in his excitment. "Lady Amanda, I have looked forward to this meeting. I have heard much about you." He pressed a kiss to her hand and then focused on her companion. "Lady Millie, how are you this evening?"

"Quite well, thank you sir." Millie responded in a friendly manner.

"Excellent!" They heard the musicians tuning their instruments. Chris smiled and requested a dance from each. They handed him their cards and he wrote his name with a waltz for each. "Thank you ladies. Now if you will excuse me a moment, I promised my mother I would ask after Lady Mardson's father." He bowed and threaded his way through the crowd.

Lord Summers remained with the two causing Millie's temper to nearly snap. She glared at him and flicked her fan open, using it vigorously. He smiled at her inability to hide her annoyance and asked Amanda for a dance. She handed him her card and he wrote his name down for the first one. He then stood there waiting.

Millie realized the slur directed at her when he did not ask her for her dance card. She snapped her fan shut with a loud click and whispered to Amanda she was going to the retiring room. With a final glare at the man, she turned and left.

The music started and Ryan led her to the floor. After a complete turn around the floor, he asked her about the opera. "Did you enjoy yourself?"

"I did, thank you." Amanda answered. "I must also express my gratitude for taking such excellent care of my aunt. That was terribly kind of you to escort her home."

"No trouble at all I assure you." He smiled and noticed Thomas on the sidelines, watching them closely. Actually, it seemed the lady in Ryan's arms was the one his gaze was focused on. "I understand this is your first season."

"Oh dear. Is it that obvious?" Amanda teased.

He chuckled. "Not at all. I believe Lord Hunt mentioned hearing that your debut was delayed."

Amanda blinked in surprise. Lord Thomas had not only found out about her reasons for holding off on coming to London, he had talked to another about her? "That is correct. My parents and uncle passed away within three years."

"My apologies for your loss." Ryan said softly. He quickly searched for a less depressing topic. "Other than reading, what other interests do you possess?"

Amanda's frown eased at his change of subject. "I have a great many. Walking, riding, music...listening not playing. I'm afriad I am quite dreadful."

Ryan let out a surprised laugh that drew attention toward them. "Lady Amanda, you are the first person I have ever danced with that actually admitted they were not talented. How many recitals I have suffered through from ladies lying about their accomplishments." He shuddered causing her to laugh. "On behalf of gentlemen everywhere, I thank you for not making us long to cut our ears off."

"My pleasure, sir." She said between giggles.

"Now then, what else do you enjoy?" He asked with genuine interest.

"Well, I am interested in attending The British Museum's exhibit of Elgin Marbles." She said with a smile. "I have heard that many of the statues are extraordinary."

"They truly are. I admit that when I saw them, I imagined what it must have looked when they stood in The Parthenon." Ryan glanced up again and searched for Thomas. He saw him retrieving some punch and cornered by some matron and her charge.

"Have you ever been to Greece?" Amanda inquired.

"No. Sadly, I haven't. I almost journeyed there when I was traveling the Continent. But, I found myself longing for home and booked the first passage I could to return to our shores." His smile was a tad boyish. "Sounds silly for a grown man to do so, does it not?"

Her answering smile gentled. "Not at all. It sounds honest."

Ryan took her hand and bowed over it when the song ended. "Lady Amanda, it was truly a pleasure that I hope to find repeated in the future." He smiled warmly as she expressed that she looked forward to it.

After returning her to Millie, he walked toward the card room and encountered Thomas. "Up for a hand of whist?" Ryan asked.

"No." Was the terse reply. Thomas scanned the room. "How was your dance?"

"Capital. She is quite graceful. Winters will be dancing with her at some point. I'm sure her card will be filled before long." Ryan grinned at his friend's moody silence. "Well Hunt, cards or are you going to dance?"

Thomas softly cursed before walking away from his chuckling friend. He stuck to the shadows to avoid some of the more pushy matchmaking mothers. He had been cornered by four conniving ladies and their daughters that made him long for a place to hide.

His eyes touched on each lady that wore purple until he saw the one he was searching for. He paused and leaned against the wall, observing as young and old asked her for a dance. His frown formed when he realized a healthy number of rakes were a part of the mix. Without another thought, he approached her side.

Her smile brightened he noticed, a bit placated when that happened. "May I?" He asked, holding his hand out.

She handed him her card. He smiled softly when he saw the supper waltz and last waltz were both avaiable. He quickly wrote his name on the two spots. Propriety's rule that only allowed a gentleman two dances with a lady suddenly irritated him. It left too many spaces available for morally questionable members of the ton to take advantage of an innocent. He bowed his head to her when he returned her dance card.

She opened it and felt her heart race. Two waltzes! "Thank you, my lord. I look forward to our dance."

His frown eased. "It is I who should be thanking you." Their attention was turned when one of the rake's approached for his dance. Thomas watched her perform the steps of the cotillion. Her expression remained pleasant as her partner spoke each time they met.

She in turn would say something that caused the rake to smile and laugh.

"Your frown is quite fierce. No wonder so few ladies dance with you."

Thomas rolled his eyes. "Don't you have some chit to dance with?"

"Not at the moment." Chris replied in a chipper manner. My next dance is with Lady Millie followed by one with Lady Amanda. You should secure some dances yourself before they are taken."

"I have." Thomas admitted.

"Oh?" Chris followed his gaze and grinned the grin that most ladies swore could make them swoon. "I hope they were with a lady who's company you prefer."

"It is." Thomas frowned even more when he realized what he admitted. "Not in that manner." He muttered.

"Are you not tired of the denials yet?" Ryan asked as he approached. "She is a very amiable girl. Marvelous sense of humor. I wouldn't mind getting to know her better, myself."

Thomas turned abruptly on him. "What?!"

"Oh come now. You, yourself said that she was worthy of friendship. Perhaps she shall become my friend also. Who knows? In due course, I might come to see her in a different light." Ryan smiled innocently as Thomas began to turn nearly puce in color.

He sputtered for a moment before leaving them. Chris stared wide eyed at his retreat. "I say! Is it wise to goad him to that extent?"

"That could very well be the problem, young Winters. He has never been pushed to the point of having to make a definite decision on a lady. If what I think is happening is truly occuring, then I intend to see Hunt trussed like a goose and set before the altar with Lady Amanda at his side."

Chris smiled and held his hand out. The two friends shook with plans forming in their minds. "That is my intention too." He walked away to dance with Millie.

As the evening progressed, Amanda and Millie found an alcove to escape and compare views of the gentlemen they had danced with. They each grimaced at having Lord Comery as a partner. The man had stomped on their toes throughout most of the dance.

"Why must men who can not dance have to step with such enthusiasm?" Amanda muttered as she rubbed her slippered foot.

"I believe the man must have rocks in his shoe. No one's foot should be that heavy." Millie let out a soft groan as another gentleman approached. "And now I have the pleasure of Sir Peter's creative genius."

The young man bowed low before them. "At last, my lady. I stand humbly before your ethereal presence to be granted an angelic touch from your gloved hand."

Amanda started coughing to hide her laughter and waved off the couple's concern. "Bit of dust. Forgive me."

Millie covered her mouth to conceal her own laugh. "We will see you in the dining room." She managed to say with a straight face.

Amanda stood up and smoothed her gown. She began to to make her way toward the floor, intending to be more visible for Thomas to find her.

"My lady." His fingers grasped her arm. She turned and smiled softly.

"My lord."

He guided her back to the dance floor and took her in his arms. Amanda could feel the heat of his hand through the thin silk of her dress. Their eyes locked as he led her in the waltz. After a few, tense, silent moments; he spoke. "Are you enjoying Lady Westford's ball?"

"I am. It is how I always imagined a London ball would be." Her lips curved. "Are you having a pleasant evening?"

His serious expression eased. "I suppose I am."

"I can tell. I do not think there is another gentleman in attendance who displays such joy being here." She teased.

A rare smile appeared, his first of the evening, causing those that witnessed it to whisper. "What am I to do with you, my lady?" He murmured. They continued the dance with opinions and smiles. He bowed when the dance ended and offered his arm. When she placed her hand on it he covered it with his.

"I take it this many people is what is deemed as a crush." She observed as they were stuck once again in the middle of a large crowd.

"It will be this way at each ball. Hostesses do tend to invite everyone within England's borders." He looked down at her and his lips curved. "Then they move up into the Outer Hebrides." His smile grew at her laugh.

They sat down and were soon joined by Lord Ryan, Lady Millie (who ignored the marquis), and unfortunately the poetic Sir Peter. Lord Comery also asked to join their group, much to no one's pleasure.

Talk turned to upcoming picnics and balls. A house party that was being organized by Lady Millie's parents in three week's time was greatly discussed. Lord Ryan observed Thomas and Amanda closely while an idea sparked.

"I believe an outing of some sort should be planned for our newly arrived lady. The British Museum and then on to Gunter's for refreshments and ices I think is what we should do." He suggested.

Millie forgot her irritation and smiled at Ryan. "That is a wonderful idea, Lord Summers! Oh do say you wish to go, Amanda!"

"Of couse I do." Amanda replied. "I do not want anyone to go to any trouble, though."

With a flick of his wrist, Lord Summers waved her concern away. "Going out for enjoyment, trouble? I think not. Pick the day ladies and Lord Thomas and I shall come by in the carriage for you."

"To see Lady Millie stand next to renderings of the gods themselves, the muses would surely be overflowing with poetry. I must be there to see such beauty next to the marbles of old." Sir Peter grabbed Millie's hand and placed it over his heart. "Swear to me that I may go!"

Ryan narrowed his eyes at the pair. "Good Lord, man. Get a hold of yourself." He reached over and helped her free her hand from the overly dramatic gentleman.

Lord Comery began to shake his head. "I'm afraid Lady Amanda will not be taking part of this outing. I would be more than happy to drive her in my barouche to meet the rest of the party at Gunter's, though only for tea. No ice, I think."

"I beg your pardon." Amanda said in shock.

Thomas' temper was barely holding on by a thread at the earl's nerve. "I do not see where you have the right to deny her."

The earl sighed as if dealing with troublesome children. "My dear lady, there will be statues there of the male form. It is not appropriate for eyes such as yours."

Amanda's cheeks darkened as her temper rose. "Sir, I am familiar with the classic artistic styles. I have studied both the sculptures in books along with the myths and legends they depict. I am no mere girl fresh from the schoolroom."

Millie nodded in approval while she too glared at the man. Sir Peter cocked his head to the side in wonder. "I understand sir if you do not wish to see such art, but why deny the lady an ice?"

Lord Comery coughed uncomfortably and took a sip of wine. "I am quite certain once Lady Amanda thinks on it some more she will agree with both my reasons for not attending and for not partaking of Gunter's sweets."

They all looked at her when she gasped. "Excuse me." Amanda placed her napkin on the table. "Please. Don't get up." She paused when Thomas stood up.

"I will escort you." He murmured. She shook her head, yet he held fast to her arm and led her out of the dining room.

"You are no gentleman." Millie hissed at Lord Comery. She threw her napkin in his face and rose from her chair. "Sir Peter. Lord Summers. Let us leave and finish planning the outing for Lady Amanda." She took both men's arms and pulled them with her.

"I still don't understand." Sir Peter whispered.

Millie smiled at him, her regard toward his silly poetry softening at his innocent heart. "That is because you are a true gentleman."

"My lord, please do not trouble yourself." Amanda said as she took his handkerchief. She and Thomas stood together outside along the path that led to a sunken garden. "I am simply being foolish in letting Lord Comery's remarks affect me."

He took his handkerchief from her and gently wiped her tears. "He is an imbecile." He placed a finger under her chin so he could look in her eyes. "You have been much sought after this evening."

She chuckled and shook her head as tears fell. "I believe my inheirtance played a larger part in that than my looks." Amanda placed her hand over his that wiped her tears. "You are most kind to try to reassure me, but I am no fool. Please do not think I am fishing for compliments from you, Lord Thomas. I know what is in style and I shall never match it. I am fine with this. I must have gotten swept away with the excitment of the ball and forgot..." She swallowed uneasily. "I must have forgotten."

He stilled and allowed his eyes to drift over her features before returning to her own hazel eyes. "I am not a fool either. Nor am I the type of man who utters compliments because it is something I think someone wishes to hear." He cupped her cheek, his thumb brushing a stray tear away. "When a real man looks upon you, your inheritance does not even cross his mind."

Her lips parted in surprise at his words. His dark gaze focused on them before he dropped his hand. He stepped away from her and his expression became guarded. "Shall we return to the ballroom?"

She nodded and placed her hand on his arm to stop him. "Thank you." She whispered.

He took her hand in both of his and pressed a tender kiss to her knuckles. "My pleasure."

*At a sunny day, Heathcliff had just picked up Fred and Minimax from his comic book club and drives their way to SFIT.*

Heathcliff: I trust your funny book club was illuminating Master Frederickson.

Fred: Twas indeed Heathcliff! We took a deep dive into Captain Fancy!

MiniMax: Fred dazzled with his superior comic insights!

Fred: I was the only one who noticed that the artist A.J Doehertz drew himself into the issue as the nosy neighbor Mr. Cameo.

Heathcliff: Oh, delightful discovery sir.

Fred: Oh you should've seen Richardson's face when-Woah!

*Heathcliff suddenly takes sharp turn as a futuristic blue car sped past them. And in front of the limo is a girl on a moped.*

Minimax: Brace for impact.

*But Heathcliff simply dodges hitting the girl and continues driving, where two new futuristic cars are heading towards them.*

Heathcliff: You might wish to hang on.

*And so Heathcliff zooms past the speeding cars at a wild speed, Fred screaming at the top of his lungs over the driving while Minimax flies through the air.*

Minimax: this is exciting!

*Just up ahead is a mother pushing a baby stroller in the way of Heathcliff's car. With smooth moves Heathcliff avoids hitting the mother and child and getting hit by a truck. Soon they are back to normal driving as if nothing had happened. Like a boss.*

Fred: Whoah.

Heathcliff: My apologies sir. Please, continue your riveting story.

*Fred comes running through the doors of the dining hall towards the gang eating their lunch.*

Fred: Guys! Guys! Guys!

*Even when he slides past them and crashes, he gets back up again and runs to the group.*

Fred: Guys guys(x10)! You should have seen these cars! They look like they were from the future! *Gasp!* Maybe they are from the future!

*During his excitement he slams his fist to the table which spills Wasabi's drink onto Baymax and the floor. A Roomba comes by and cleans up the mess.*

Baymax: Oh no.

Wasabi: Fred that was a 12 dollar cold press juice.

Fred: My bad Wasabi, you know time travel gets me all worked up*Picks up Roomba to clean Baymax*Let me get that for you Baymax.

*Hiro pulls out his phone to see the cars Fred was talking about and sees the news.*

Hiro: There was a bank robbery last night. Maybe those were the getaway cars.

Fred: *Whispers* From the future.

Gogo: Or not.

Cora: But you have to admit they do look pretty advanced compared to every other vehicle.

Hiro: There's only one way to find out. Night Patrol.

Fred: *Whispers* In the future...*regular voice* Wait I mean tonight, lets do this tonight.

Honey Lemon: I feel terrible but I can't make it, I'm throwing a sticker party. Its BYOS. Bring your own stickers!

Gogo: *Mutters* Great, not another sticker party.

Honey Lemon: what was that Gogo?

Gogo: I was just saying how sad I am, to miss it... but duty calls.

Honey Lemon: Don't worry we'll have a sticker after-party! Just you and me!

Gogo:...*Sighs* Fine.

Honey Lemon: Fine is gogo for yay!

*Later on Gogo is cleaning her wheels as a drop of her sweat lands on it.*

Gogo: Ugh... its so hot.

Honey Lemon: Oh I turned on the heat! Warm stickers stick best!

Gogo:*Looking at the stickers in Honey's hands* Of course they do.

Honey Lemon: Also, I just got these mood stickers! They change colors!

*Honey Lemon places it on Gogo's forehead and it immediately changes to black.*

Gogo: Wow. Life changing.

Honey Lemon: Uh oh! Looks like someone needs a hug!

*While Honey Lemon hugs Gogo, the shorter one removes the sticker from her forehead and places it underneath the table. Later on the three futuristic cars zoom out of its garages and into the city, where Gogo meets up with the rest of the team as Baymax scans Gogo's wellbeing as she removes the stickers on her suit.*

Baymax: Gogo, your clenched jaw indicates you are frustrated.

Gogo: That's because I just can't with Honey Lemon's bajillion hobbies.

Wasabi: Oh come on how bad can they be?

Gogo: She also plays the electric harp, has a butterfly aviary in her closet, and don't forget her smile-lates.

Hiro: What are 'smile-lates'?

Gogo: Its Palates, but you have to grin like a nitwit through the entire workout.

Fred:*Testing out the smile-lates workout next to Gogo* Guys I can feel it. My cheeks are getting so swol.

Cora: OK...those are just things Honey Lemon does for herself-

Gogo: Oh and she keeps making portraits of me without my knowledge or permission!

Fred: OK, that last part is a little...overstepping your comfort zone.

Cora: How about you talk to her about these things? You've been roommates for some time so communication shouldn't be a problem right?

*Before Gogo could respond the three cars that nearly got Fred to a car crash zoom by the team.*

Hiro: Baymax! Lets go!

*Hiro and Cora jump on Baymax as Fred and Gogo zoom into the action.*

Wasabi: Wait! Can we go back to the surprise portraits for a sec?

Cora:*Via Comm link* Run now! Portraits later Wasabi!

*When the pink car goes off one street Baymax follows.*

Fred:*To cars* Hey Wait important question! What year are you from?!

Wasabi: Really should've brought my car!

Gogo: Hindsight sucks doesn't it?

*Hiro and Cora looks over the car's design and build to study for any weaknesses it could expose. Baymax lands in front of the car and holds out his hand to stop.*

Baymax: This is an unsafe speed.

*It was then that the car levitates above them and resumes speeding past them.*

Baymax: Good jump.

Hiro: Uh guys? These cars can jump.

Cora: And keep an eye out if they do any other stuff too.

*The blue car zooms through the street as Fred is closely behind.*

Fred: Yeah? Well so can I!

*He gets on top of the car and holds on for dear life as the driver tries to shake him off.*

Fred: Oh I should've come up with a second part of this plan!

*The car flips over and slams Fred into a bullseye billboard nearby.*

Fred: Whoa... my swol cheeks saved me.

*Now its Gogo and the yellow car in the streets. She strikes her disc into the side where the wheels are supposed to be one and knocks it off, leading it to skid through the streets. But up ahead is an elderly lady walking along, unaware of the car skidding towards her. But thankfully Baymax arrives with Hiro throwing his magnetic dics to repel the car away from the old lady and into the ground. Baymax lands as Hiro and Cora gets down, the girl's left fist slowly cackling with electricity just in case the driver means business. Soon Fred joins in.*

Gogo: Ok! Out of the car!

*But when there was no response Hiro goes over to the car and actvates the pod, revealing nothing inside.*

Hiro: Remote driver? huh...

Cora: Who's been operating these cars?

*Wasabi finally arrives at the scene from a taxi and joins the team.*

Wasabi: Sorry guys! there was a lot of traffic.

Fred: Whats that?

*Fred picks up a purple coin with an image of a car engraved to it.*

Cora: Good eye Fred.

Fred:*Reading the coin* Maximum insane driving challenge...*Gasps* Mr. Sparkles!

Hiro: He's back?!

*Meanwhile, Mr. Sparkles is talking to the remotes controlling the cars.*

Mr. Sparkles:*Laughs* Too bad so sad! Wha-Wha-whaaa~ Racer numero uno you are black flagged!

Racer 1: Not fair! Big Hero 7 got in my way!

Mr. Sparkles: Hey! The maximum insane driving challenge is a real time race! On the real life streets of San Fransokyo! There's gonna be obstacles and the occasional super hero!

Driver 1: Still not fair!

Mr. Sparkles: I know! Like life!

*The driver gets dunked onto a pool of water in response.*

Mr. Sparkles: All the winners of the Maximum Insane Driving Challenge win a pair of these fabulous, cashmere lined driving gloves! *To Driver one on the ground* Not you! You go now!

*The ex driver gets off the pool to head home in defeat.*

Mr. Sparkles: I'll find a new driver worthy of these luxurious, cashmere lined driving gloves!

*The other two drivers stare at Mr. Sparkles fawning over the gloves.*

Mr. Sparkles: Hey! this is a private moment between me and the gloves.

*Later on that night, Gogo is heading back to her apartment where she hears the sticker party happening and voices speaking.*

Honey Lemon: This is so exciting!

Gogo: Oh great, the sticker party is still here.

*Gogo opens the door to show instead, the gang with Esme and Miyuki, the two girls being SFAI students.*

Fred: Uh oh! Gogo's in the house!

*Honey Lemon runs up to Gogo and gives her a big hug.*

Gogo: Umm... What's going on?

Honey Lemon: Gogo, I know how much you treasure your space and I know I've invaded it with my stickers and my smile-lates and my surprise portraits.

Miyuki: *Looking at the portraits* Aside from the word surprise, you did a good job Honey Lemon!

Gogo: Honey Lemon... where are you getting at?

Honey Lemon: I asked Miyuki to defrost my dorm room and it worked! SFIT says I'm allowed back to my dorm which means you can have your apartment back!

*The gang cheer as Miyuki throws a puff of snowflakes to act as confetti.*

Gogo: Oh! Wow! Finally!

*But as the words sink in...so did Gogo's mood at the realization of Honey Lemon...not being at her apartment anymore.*

Gogo: I'm free..

*At Joe's diner the next day Hiro, Cora, Fred, and Baymax meet up with Felony Carl and Globby.*

Felony Carl: So, whats with airbags here?

Cora: He's Baymax remember?

Baymax: I am a personal, health care companion.

Felony Carl: You seem extremely huggable.

Hiro: Look, we need some information.

Fred: Globby said you know whats up when down, whats going around, pretty much all of the directions.

Globby: Felony Carl and I go way back. I knew him when he was just Misdemeanor Carl.

Felony Carl:Yeah, and you were still human. *To Hiro* Time flies, carpe diem so they day. Well the romans say anyway.

Fred: *Pulls out the coin* Recognize this?

Cora: He found it in the car we caught last night.

Felony Carl: I may or may not have heard about an emotionally unstable man boy handing them out. Mr. Sprinkles.

Hiro: Sparkles.

Felony Carl: If you say so. The freaks running some drone car race for well to do thrill seekers.

Fred: How 'well to do' are we talking?

Cora: And whats he offering as a price?

Felony Carl: Ascots... and monocles. and the price is a pair of fancy gloves.

Fred: Ascots and monocles...hmm.

Hiro: And all for a pair of gloves?

Felony Carl: Mr. Sprinkles is also working for some big fella, volatile, dry cleans his track suits.

Fred, Hiro, and Cora: Yama!

Hiro: Baymax, can you bring up the map of San Fransokyo?

*Baymax activates the map on his belly and shows the routes the cars had taken.*

Baymax: Tap to zoom.

Hiro: Felony Carl show us where you saw Yama and Sparkles.

Felony Carl: I'm not saying nothing, but...

*Felony Carl taps on the location of the meeting and leaves the table, but not before he looks at Cora.*

Felony Carl: By the way, there's been no funny business happening with your uncle right?

Cora: Nope. Nothing too serious, he is talking more. But still iffy about... *eyes Hiro and Fred* meeting other people.

Felony Carl: Close enough. Also, *Death glare* if I hear him doing any funny business with you and your boyfriend, he's gonna answer to me.

Hiro: *Nervously gulps* We'll keep it in mind Felony Carl.

Felony Carl: Good *To Baymax* Now we hug.

*And so Felony Carl and Baymax hug. Meanwhile Gogo Is studying over her blueprints when Honey Lemon pops by.*

Honey Lemon: Hey Gogo sorry for all the boxes. Hopefully with Esme and Miyuki helping me I'll be out by the end of the week.

Gogo: Really? So you're just going to stiff me for your half of the rent?

Honey Lemon: Of course not! *Pulls out her phone to show the rent money* I already cash-garoo you my half of the rent for three months.

Gogo: Oh! That's really nice of you.

*Honey Lemon smiles at Gogo before she leaves, where soon Hiro, Cora, and Baymax go over to Gogo to tell the news.*

Hiro: Hey we got a lead on sparkle.

Gogo: Yay...

Hiro: What did I say?

Cora: Hiro, could you go check on Gogo's hypercycle blueprints and see if its functional?

Hiro: Sure.

*Hiro walks over to tell the rest of the group while Baymax and Cora stay behind to check on Gogo.*

Cora: Something wrong Gogo?

Baymax: I am programmed to provide emotional support.

Gogo: Baymax, Cora, I'm fine.

Baymax: Your slumped shoulders and the lower pitch of your voice are indicators that you are not fine.

Cora: seriously Gogo, you can tell us.

Gogo: I don't need-

Baymax: Sharing feelings can be difficult, but can lead to a better outcome.

Cora: So spill, whats going on?

Gogo:... *sighs* You're right Baymax. *to Cora* and.. its about Honey Lemon... She's actually moving out... and I just feel...*grunts*.. I'm gonna miss her

Cora: OK, then go do what Baymax says and talk to Honey Lemon about the move.

* And so Gogo goes to Honey Lemon to talk.*

Gogo: Hey Honey Lemon, look it might be a good idea for me to share.

*Honey Lemon blinks as her as Gogo gathers her courage to confess to the peppy tall girl.*

Gogo:... My pencil!... there you go.

*Honey Lemon takes Gogo's pencil.*

Honey Lemon: Oh thanks!~ That's really sweet!

*As Honey Lemon walks away Baymax and Cora look at Gogo. Baymax blinks as Cora purse her lips in judgement.*

Gogo: Stop judging me with your blinks Baymax.

Hiro:*Walking up to Gogo* Hey Gogo! I ran some aerodynamics on your hypercycle and its good to go.

Gogo: Great.

*Gogo walks away as Baymax and Cora step out to talk to Hiro.*

Hiro: What'd I say?

Baymax: Gogo is emotionally vulnerable at the moment.

Cora: And it involves a certain chem genius.*Pulls out her phone and starts texting.*

Hiro: You're texting everyone about Yama and Sparkles?

Cora; Yup... and Miyuki and Esme about a certain Biker chick.

Hiro: Gogo would kill you, you know.

Cora: She could kill after we deal with Yama and Sparkles *Shudders in memory of her being in a bird cage.*

*Later on; Minimax, Wasabi, Fred, Hiro, and Cora are at Fred's room looking at the pictures of Yama and Mr. Sparkles.*

Fred: So whats the plan here?... I always wanted to say that!

Hiro: Normally we send someone in undercover to get more info but...

Wasabi: Mr. Sparkles and Yama would instantly recognize all of us.

Hiro: Exactly.

Cora: And I'm dead meat if I try to go Mystery Angel.

Wasabi: OK, so we need someone we can trust...

Hiro: who looks extremely rich...

Cora: Knows his way around the race tracks...

Fred: And is also a great driver.

*Just then Heathcliff comes through the door.*

Heathcliff: May I be of service Master Frederickson?

Fred: Wait! That's it! I know exactly who our driver should be!

Minimax: I'll do it!

Fred: I think somebody is ready for the nappity nap sleepity boop!

Minimax: I am not ready for my nappity nap sleepity boop! I am ready to defend justice!

Cora:*stern, warning tone* Minimax?

Minimax: I'm sorry Cora. I am ready for my nappity nap sleepity boop Fred.

*Fred picks up minimax and cradles him in his arms.*

Fred: Hush little Minimax, go to sleep. Boop!~

*And like that Minimax is out like a light.*

Cora: *Whispers* That was adorable.

Fred: *Whispers* Thanks.

*Soon all five of them, including a sleeping Minimax, contact Fred's father.*

Fred: Dad, you got any words of wisdom for our boy Heathcliff here before he faces Sparkles?

Frederickson the III: I've always hated fighting screwball villains. No respect for the game.

Hiro: Whatabout going undercover as a rich thrill seeker Mr. Frederickson?

Frederickson the III: Heathcliff doesn't need my advice; he's the best in the bizz. Back when I plucked Heathcliff out of butler school I schooled him on undercover work. Doctor, banker, hot air balloon enthusiast, he could pull the wool over his mother's eyes.

Heathcliff: Oh indeed sir. I relish the opportunity to serve Mr. Sparkles some hot justice underglass.

*That is when Minimax wakes from his nap and springs into action.*

Minimax: I like the way you talk about justice!

*Minimax brings out his fist to Heathcliff for a fistbump.*

Heathcliff: Oh um, thank you, Master Minimax.

*He fistbumps Minimax in return. Back at the lab, Gogo is setting up her hypercycle while Hiro and Cora are with Honey Lemon and Baymax.*

Hiro: Cora and I are gonna help Honey Lemon move her dresser Gogo, you good?

Gogo: Yeah, yeah. Thanks Hiro.

Cora: Esme and Miyuki are coming over soon bringing some lunch here. Just in case.

*With that, the three people leave. Baymax looks at Gogo before he sees Miyuki and Esme enter inside with some yaki tacos.*

Miyuki: Hi Baymax! How's it hanging?

Baymax: I am good. Thank you Miyuki.

Esme: So where's Gogo?

*Baymax points over to Gogo working on her project. Esme looks at Miyuki and nods at her; receiving a nod back the two girls put aside the food and walk over to Honey Lemon, with Baymax following them close.*

Esme: Hey, Gogo. Interesting project you got there.

Gogo; Thanks.. *Looks at Baymax* What now? More emotional support?

Baymax: Yes. Would you like a hug?

Gogo: I'm good. but thanks.

Hiro:*Through the door* Baymax, come on! *Sees the two girls* Oh! Esme! Miyuki!

Miyuki and Esme: Hiya Hiro.

Esme: *To Baymax* Yeah, you should go Baymax, this is something we girls need to discuss... alone.

Baymax:*Blinks* OK. Goodbye.

*As Baymax waddles towards Hiro, the two girls look at Gogo as Miyuki starts speaking.*

Miyuki: Ok, lets cut to the chase. You're being moody ever since Honey Lemon announced she is moving out and despite being annoyed at her hobbies, you're gonna miss her being there right?

*Gogo stops at her work and turns around.*

Gogo: Who told you?

Esme: Cora texted us about this. Said you chickened out telling Honey Lemon how you feel about this.

Gogo; Ugh. I swear I'm gonna kill her for this!

Miyuki: *Uses her finger to create an ice tipped fingernail* Not until you confess whats really going on in your head.

Gogo: *Grunts*...Fine! I... I...

Esme: You know for a chick who says woman up to make someone pull of the bandage and get it over with, you're pretty bad at acting on your own phrase.

Gogo: Fine! You want to know? I'm gonna miss Honey Lemon when she goes back to her dorm! I'm gonna miss her butterfly aviary! I'm gonna miss her electric harp playing! I'm gonna miss her smile-lates! I'm even gonna miss her stupid sticker parties! Maybe its cause I like how Honey Lemon brights up the room even if I didn't want to! Maybe its cause how I'll miss her showing me cat videos at 5 am! Maybe its because I gotten so used to her living with me and saying hello every morning! Maybe its cause I love her-!

*When Gogo sees the shocked expressions of esme and Miyuki, Gogo's face blushes into a giant tomato. She quickly gets up but Miyuki freezes her feet.*

Miyuki: Did you just say.. you love Honey Lemon?

Esme: As in... Love-Love?

*Gogo's glaring yet red face is enough of an answer than they need. Finally Miyuki brings over the taco and shoves it to Gogo. Esme then puts a hand on Gogo's shoulder.*

Esme: Gogo... you know more than anyone else, aside from Baymax, that not sharing these feelings will make you do something stupid right?

*Gogo does not say anything, her face remaining its embarrassed form.*

Miyuki: *sighs* You know what? You can't keep quiet about this forever. And who knows? Maybe Honey Lemon feels the same way.

*Gogo blinks as the frost on her feet disappears and sees Miyuki walk out the door, her eyes ringing with memory... about Tadashi. Esme then hands her a water bottle and walks out.*

Esme: So go out there, find Honey Lemon, and woman up.

*Gogo looks at her food and then to Honey Lemon's chem set, seeing through her minds eyes the memories of her crazy expirements, her joyful laughter, her enthusiasm, how she would attempt to cheer up their friends during troubling times. All this brings a warm smile to her face. Later that night, Heathcliff is with Fred, dressed in his Fredmelian costume in the limo near the place where the street racing begins.*

Heathcliff: Sir, we have arrived at the abandoned warehouse the felonious gentleman identified.

Fred: Great! Now remember, if you get in ant trouble, Fredmelian is nearby.

Heathcliff: Oh thank you sir. I'm sure we'll make a cracking good team.

*Fred activates his camouflage as Heathcliff goes towards the door and knocks on it. The slide eye opener opens to see Heathcliff.*

Heathcliff: Greetings, I am a well to do thrill seeker in pursuit of a pair of a new driving gloves. Cashmere lined perhaps?

*And with a monocle the guy lets in Heathcliff.*

Fred: *Whispers* Nice sell on the monocle!

*Fred slithers inside while the door is still open. Elsewhere Yama and Mr. Sparkles are hanging.*

Heathcliff: Good evening gentlemen. Rumor has it you're organizing a test of competence operating automobiles and high velocities.

Yama:Hmm?

Mr. Sparkles: Uncle Moneybags wants to race! You're in luck! My boyo here, just cranked up our ride so nobody can touch them. Not the heat! Not the superweirdos.

Heathcliff: Sounds peachy.

Yama: How peachy?

*Heathcliff pulls out his case and opens it to reveal it being filled up with cash.*

Mr. Sparkles: Extra peachy. Well well well, well-to do thrill seeker you're in!*Smothers himself in the gloves*

Fred: Ew!

*The two criminals hear a voice but don't see a body.*

Heathcliff: A thousand apologies sir, my monocle is squeaky. Needs Waxing.

Mr. Sparkles: Sure, that'll happen. I guess... Nine o'clock! Be ready for the ride of your life!

Heathcliff: I have dedication to acceleration.

*Heathcliff hands over the suitcase of case to Mr. Sparkles and walks off.*

Mr. Sparkles: Hey! Wax that monocle! Cha ching!

*He then throws it to Yama's face.*

Yama: Ouch!

Mr. Sparkles: Op! My bad, sorry! thought you were gonna catch it!

*Mr. Sparkles then walks into his 'office' with Yama.*

Yama: I'm not your boyo!

Mr. Sparkles: You're right! That gorgeous smile belongs to the world-

Yama: Sparkle! Be serious! Someone's going to-

: Figure out Maximum Insane Driving Challenge is just a diversion! To keep the law busy while we commit crimes? That's the insane part!

*Yama flips the switch on an old fan to show a vault of money behind a painting of money.*

Mr. Sparkles: But this time its going to be worth all the risk! Stealing Captain Fancy number 8!

*Unbeknownst to them Fred is in the room in camouflage mode, and he overheard it all.*

Yama: The comic book? I have a reputation!

Mr. Sparkles: Not just any comic book silly! The most valuable, comic book in the world!

Yama: Where is it?

Mr. Sparkles: Richardson's rare comics.

Yama: You sure the most valuable?

Mr. Sparkles: Ah ha! I knew you couldn't resist! Boyo!

Yama: Don't call me boyo! Freak.

*After the criminals leave the room, Fred turns off his camoflouge.*

Fred: Robbing banks is one thing, but comic books!? Now they've gone too far!

*After many hours, Gogo goes back to her apartment where she sees a majority of Honey Lemon's stuff neatly packed.*

Gogo: Looks like you're all packed up.

Honey Lemon: Yeah, almost! I should be out of your hair by tomorrow!

Gogo:Oh… that soon?... Honey Lemon?

Honey Lemon: Yeah?

Gogo: Look...*Sighs* I don't know how to say this... but-

*Honey Lemon's phone buzzes and so she answers the call.*

Hiro: Yama and Sparkles are hitting Richardson's comic book store tonight. Meet us there.

Honey Lemon: Oh no! I'll go grab my chem purse!

*As Honey Lemon prepares herself for tonight, Gogo sighs at her failed attempt to talk to Honey Lemon.*

Gogo:... Well this is going well...*Pulls out the sticker underneath the desk and sighs*

*The remote controlled cars are up and ready for the road. The first two drivers put on their helmets as Heathcliff momentarily gets confused before Fred gently puts it on his head.*

Fred: Good luck!

Heathcliff: Thank you, invisible sir.

Mr. Sparkles: Ready roadsters? Time to play Maximum Insane Driving challenge! Who will win these silk soft cashmere lining driving gloves?

*The three drivers insert the special coin to start the race.*

Peter:*To Heathcliff* Anyone ever tell you that you look like a butler?

Dereck: *To Heathcliff* Yeah, can you fetch me an ice tea?

Peter:*Laughs* Nice on Dereck.

Dereck: Thanks Peter!

Heathcliff:*To self* I'm going to relish this.

*The three drivers set up their controllers as they prepare for the race.*

Mr. Sparkles: On your marks, get set, Go!

*And so pushing metal to the pedal all three zoom off their cars into the streets of San Fransokyo. Meanwhile, the rest of Big Hero 7 arrive across the street from Richardson's comic book store. Cora looks down and sees a flashlight coming from inside the already closed store.*

Cora: They're here already.

Hiro: We'll catch them by surprise.

*Yama is shuffling through the comic store, thankfully unaware of the mole hole entrance, when the light turn on to which Yama sees is Big Hero 7.*

Hiro: Looking for something?

Cora: A certain comic book perhaps?

Yama: Its not here!

Gogo: Nice try *pulls out disc* hand it over.

Yama: Its not here! I've looked everywhere!

Wasabi: Then why would Mr. Sparkles say it was here?

Gogo: Unless...

Cora: He set him up!

*Yama receives a text just then that confirms their suspicions.*

Yama: That little Freak did set me up!

*Meanwhile the police are after the cars as they drive through the streets. Up ahead being an elderly woman crossing the street. The three cars fly over the woman while the police cars stop barely in time to avoid hitting her. When the old woman turns her head to see that the cops had barely avoided hitting her, she smacks the hood and continues on her way. Which results in the airbags to activate. In an attempt to swerve Heathcliff off course, Dereck nearly knocks out his car before Heathcliff regains control. Heathcliff drives backwards to join the pink car, to which Dereck realizes that in that attempt, he went off course. *

Dereck: Ah F-

*His car drives into the bay, sinking to the deep.*

Mr. Sparkles: Game over loser!

*Dereck is dropped to the pool as a result. Leaving Heathcliff with the other lone driver to compete. *

Heathcliff: Be a dear and fetch me an ice tea.

Hiro: Fred, Mr. Sparkles double crossed Yama. He's gonna get away!

Fred: All good, Fredmeleon's on it!

*Using his tongue he swings over to office only to find it empty.*

Fred: *Whispers* Sparkles isn't here.*Regular voice* Wait Sparkles isn't here I don't know why I'm whispering. *Opens safe and finds it empty.* Oh boy, and he emptied the safe.

Honey Lemon: If Mr. Sparkles isn't there, where is he then?

*Turns out Mr. Sparkles got into the pink car with all the cash and driving gloves with him.*

Mr. Sparkles: *Admiring gloves* Oh like a butterfly's kiss. Maximum insane manual mode!

*He activates the car to be operated manually, leaving Peter no control of his car.*

Peter: I've lost control of my car!

Mr. Sparkles: Thanks for not playing loser!

*Peter is then dunked to the pool, now leaving Heathcliff alone to stop Mr. Sparkles at his game.*

Heathcliff:*Cracking knuckles* This is for all the butlers.

*He sets up his controller to catch up to Mr. Sparkles and land in front of him, forcing Mr. sparkles to skid aside to avoid hitting the green car.*

Mr. Sparkles: Eat my sparkles!

*Mr. Sparkles then summons forth the robotic chicken he had used for his escapes to take out Heathcliff with giant eggs. Although he did his best to avoid the falling eggs, the last one exploded in front of, the force pushing back the green car and destroying it, making him loose the race.*

Fred: Guys! Mr. Sparkles is in one of the cars and just took out Heathcliff!

Heathcliff: *Falling to the pool* Indeed!

*After an unseen battle which left Yama with an aching crotch and a black eye from Aqua Girl and Electro Alpha respectably, he turns to one of the team members and taunts.*

Yama: You'll never catch him!

Gogo: And you're wrong.

*Gogo fist bumps Hiro as soon as Gogo's skymax delivers her brand new mode of transportation: The Hyper cycle.*

Cora: Go get him Velocity!

Hiro: We'll stay with Yama! Sparkles is all yours!

*And so Gogo zooms off with her cycle. Soon she spots the car that has Sparkles inside.*

Mr. Sparkles: Welcome to the party Velocity! Too bad you weren't invited!

*He rams the car to her side to knock her out of the road. When he focuses on the mirror he thought he succeeded... only for Gogo and her hypercycle remaining intact. She opens up a weapon from her cycle which soon fries out the circuits of his car, leaving him vulnerable.*

Mr. Sparkles: Bet your cycle can't do this!

*He activates the eject button, the only one that works, and flies up to his get away chicken machine.*

Mr. Sparkles: You haven't seen the last of me!

*And so the chicken flies off with the coward on its back, leaving Gogo with the car to catch.*

Hiro: Chem Princess! Velocity!

Honey Lemon: On it Alpha!

*Honey Lemon throws three of her chemballs to cushion the car into a bubble, though Hiro pushes her out of the way as it bounces through the streets... which just so happens to be heading towards a mother and her baby crossing the street. Gogo zooms faster to save them as the mother stops in shock of the upcoming car. Luckily Heathcliff comes driving full course and uses the limousine to smack the car bubble to the billboard which so happens to have Mr. Sparkles face on it.*

Honey Lemon and Hiro: Wow!

*As the mother cradles her baby, Heathcliff steps out of the car and is greeted by Big Hero 7, congratulating him and Gogo.*

Wasabi: That was amazing!

Hiro: Nice driving!

Cora: Those were some Sick moves dude!

Yama: Yeah! We did it haha! Team work yeah!

*The team look at Yama before Cora zaps him again.*

Cora: You're still going to jail. Nice try though.

Yama: Not again.

*And the police arrives at the scene.*

Baymax: You failed because you and Mr. Sparkles did not communicate honestly.

*Baymax just so happens to look at Gogo when he said this.*

Gogo: Yeah, I get it.

Cora: *To Baymax* Did you just throw Shade at Gogo?

Baymax: My shadow does not shield Gogo from any lights blinding her.

*Cora shakes her head but smiles none the less. The next day, everyone, even Esme and Miyuki, are carrying the final boxes to move out of Gogo's apartment.*

Honey Lemon; Well, I think that's everything! Lets go!

Gogo: Wait!

*Everyone looks at Gogo, who is holding a box in her arms before taking a deep breath. Realizing whats going on, Esme and Miyuki push everyone else up the stairs.*

Fred: Hey whats going up?

Hiro: Why are we heading upstairs.

Esme: Giving them space!

*And so with the rest of the gang out of the room, leaving Gogo with Honey Lemon, she takes another deep breath before speaking to her.*

Honey Lemon: Gogo? Whats wrong?

Gogo: everyone knows I don't do feelings, but sometimes its worth it to make an exception...I've really gotten used to living with you and if you leave well... I'll feel...

Honey Lemon: You'll feel?

Gogo: Lonely... and not just cause you're not my roommate anymore... I've... *Sighs* I've gotten so used to you waking me up every morning and saying goodnight that if you go... a part of my heart will be empty...

Honey Lemon: *Blushing as she realizes what Gogo is saying* You mean...

Gogo: Yeah...*She then places the emote sticker over her heart, turning it to a bright red as well as her cheeks.*

*Honey Lemon lets out an airy gasp as she drops her box and rushes over and hugs her.*

Honey Lemon: I love you too Gogo! Of course I want to stay!

*This catches Gogo off guard in surprise, her heart pounding faster than any speed she could've imagined in her life.*

Gogo: You feel the same way too?

Honey Lemon; Yeah! Even if you're no-nonsense mood and cold shoulder can be a little off, every part of you that showed that you push others to be at their best and 'woman up' is what made me fall for you too.

Gogo: …*Giggling before laughing happily*

*That surprised Honey Lemon, to which she started laughing with her as well. Its around this time that the rest of the gang saw what happened between them and smile brightly.*

Hiro: Congrats Gogo.

Cora; You finally womaned up.

Baymax: She has finally communicated her emotions to Honey Lemon completely.

Wasabi: So now they're a couple?

Fred: This is the happiest day of my life!

*Cora sees Miyuki sketch out the scene between Gogo and Honey Lemon. To which they finally let go.*

Honey Lemon: Official Couple selfie!

*Gogo looks at Honey Lemon for a moment before she smiles and joins the selfie.*

Gogo: This does not get posted.

Honey Lemon: Sorry, already did!

*Honey Lemon then sets her way to unpack her things to which Gogo sees the rest of the gang smile at her and give their thumbs up. At first she considers scowlding them until she remembers Baymax's and Esme and Miyuki's words and simply gives a thumbs up back. Hiro and Cora then hug each other as they celebrate their two friends becoming girlfriends. And for that moment, nothing in their life was sweeter than now for Honey Lemon and Gogo...*

Mr. Sparkles: I can't even with Big Hero 7 anymore. But alas that's why I'm here.

*As it turns out Mr. Sparkles had went to Sycorax to meet with Liv Amara with a large duffle bag of cash for payment.*

: I hear you give villains interesting abilities...

*Liv Amara looks inside the bag before she gives a wide smile to the eccentric showman. Already conducting plans for his future*

“souls of the departed” impressions

{Quick request to anyone reading: I’m watching OUaT for the first time, and I want to avoid spoilers. So, if you want to discuss something spoilery, I’d be grateful if you could start a new post for that. Thank you!}

Ahem. Anyway. Underworld. Gotta say, I liked this one a lot more than I’d have assumed from the end of the last (half-)season. (Someone mentioned it would be a Regina-centric, so I expected at least some good stuff, but this was still a lot better than I could have hoped.) Maybe not my favourite ever, but definitely a good deal above average. It also serves as what I hope is a good introduction to this season’s theme…

Closure!

Also, “letting go”, I suppose, but I’m not getting my hopes too far up on that count. More under the cut.

OK, first of all, before we get into the meat of this episode…

NEAL! God, I missed you, buddy. Emma, could you maybe pull a Hella Varal here, and just… take him with you? No? Oh, come on, do I have to write everything myself here?

I will also say that I didn’t buy that “I had no unfinished business” line for a second. Neal, you left behind your heartbroken (former?) love, the son you’d barely met and for whom you were willing to throw all your principles overboard, just to meet him again, and a completely devastated father you’d just reconciled with. And none of that counts as unfinished business? Yeah, pull the other one and all that.

Also, nice going on telling Henry that his dad is OK, but not Rumple that his son is. Yes, I know that we’re pretending like the two had nothing to do with each other, ever, but still. Let me get the bitterness out early.

Other than that, this episode reminded me of two things. Well, three. First: damn, but Regina can sure carry an episode when the plot lets her.

Second, Barbara Hershey is a very handsome woman, and third: I want to resurrect Cora, just so that I can kill her again. You kind of forget what an astoundingly terrible person she is when she’s not around for a while…

OK, touching reunion over, now take your hands off her or so help me…

This whole plot did something I really like on this show, which is “take a tertiary character and flesh the hell out of them” (no pun intended). Henry Sr was mostly there to fill a specific role in Regina’s backstory so far, and while we got glimpses of his character, I wouldn’t have called him “well-developed” by any means. Which is perfectly fine! You do need that supporting cast to carry a story. It’s still nice when those people get their time to shine, and this was Older Henry’s opportunity.

…OK, bad example. look, it’s Once Upon a Time. sometimes these things happen.

This episode also reframed his actions during Regina’s childhood in a way that made him more sympathetic to me. I mean, he was always a genuinely nice person, and his death was awful, but while I liked him well enough, I had a hard time respecting him, because… well, we only ever saw him as “Regina’s dad”, and he seemed to fail his parental duties rather thoroughly.

Look, this whole topic is steeped in issues I am in no way an expert on. Living with a violent spouse (meaning Cora, in this case) is hell, and I assume different people deal with that differently. I didn’t blame Henry Sr because he never stopped Cora’s abuse of their daughter, mostly because I don’t think he could have. I blamed him because the narrative made it seem like he never even tried, instead just standing to one side, wringing his hands, because gosh, there was just nothing he could do, was there?

Anyway, like I said, this episode reframed a lot of that, both in the sense that he did, in fact, try, and in that he knew how badly he’d messed up, and wanted to see that made right.

And while the whole thing was obviously subject to time constraints (theoretically, I wouldn’t have minded a three-episode arc where Regina and her father come to terms with the good, bad, and ugly of their relationship and make peace with all parts together, but I realise that’s not really feasible), I really liked that this episode gave both of them... wait for it... Closure.

Even back in s1, Regina killing her father was never framed as an act of malice, but one of desperation, and it was made clear repeatedly how much that decision haunted her. I also just liked Henry getting to meet his grandfather and namesake.

“Thank you, Grandpa. For believing in her like I do.” “Thank you, Henry... for being there when I couldn't.”

I’m vaguely confused about Cora’s fate, I admit. Also about Hades’s zero-mistakes policies. How many hyper-competent evil people do you have around this place that you can send her off to Miller Hell for that one single tick of the clock? Just wondering...

In any case, I’m happy they seem to be picking up the “Regina is the saviour, but coming from the other direction” thing as Emma gets... honestly, who even knows what’s going on with Emma, these days.

In “just little things I liked”: the cameos. Just. All of the cameos. Loved hearing Cruella in the background, loved James in all his sleazy, awful glory, and especially loved the return of this little shit here.

welcome back, eyebrow boy! touch any of the characters i love and i will beat you with a cactus : D

Also, Regina eating pie.

Just. Yeah. Congratulations on finding what is probably the least heterosexual way to eat pie, and that’s saying something.

Oh, and as mentioned in my one liveblog-post: Rumplestiltskin, Dark One and grumpy tour guide to Hell. That man is so Done™ with everything and everybody. He spent six weeks in a coma, got kidnapped, beaten up, chased by bears, beaten up again, had his heart broken, was threatened with horrible death, was re-Dark One’d (which I can’t imagine is much fun, even if it was on purpose), got shagged within an inch of his life (one presumes), and blackmailed into going to the underworld for a guy he hates. What I’m saying is: let this man rest for maybe five minutes.

“I’m out” yeah, i hear that…

And, of course, the short-but-sweet (bittersweet, really) Rumbelle scene in the beginning. Look, Rumple, bud, if you could just tell her? Maybe just this once? …yeah, didn’t think so. You two are still cute and do some of the best goodbyes on this show. Please don’t mess each other up too badly this time around.

Meanwhile, in “setup” news… uh, Hook’s not looking his best, is he? Did he just fast forward all the way to Actual Hell, or what’s going on there? I mean, I’m sure I’ll find out whether I want to or not, I’m just trying to get myself interested in the alleged main plot.

And Hades, my guy, that hairdo is not doing you any favours whatsoever.

The Hero’s Hero (Chapter Three - Memorized It)

Hello Frens~ Guess who managed to write chapter three! Me! *insert jazz hands* A lot more characters in this one, I’m not even sure I’ll be able to tag all of them... Rip my tagging system... And this time we have a secial cameo from @evelinaonline’s Cora!! Also I once again had EvE and @ninjagoruinedmylife preread it... Leave me alone I need at least two of my frens to approve my work... Summary: Lloyd is a dork and his friends are supportive but mock him? I’m so bad at this help

When Lloyd reached his home, the Bounty, he put his phone back into his pocket as he entered the ship. After taking his shoes of he immediately went to the living space and plopped down on the couch. After a few minutes of staring at the ceiling and thinking Kai walked into the room.

“Hey man- Whoa what's with the grumpy look? Was your walk that bad?”, the brunette sat down on an armchair next to the couch.

“No- Well I mean... I'm just confused, don't worry about it”, the green ninja waved of the question. Kai was about to say something else when Zane entered the room.

“I see you have returned from your walk.”, the ice ninja smiled brightly as he stepped near the arm chair Kai was sitting in. Lloyd simply answered with a nod and Zane continued, “Have you acquired the information you said you were going to on said walk?”

The green clad blond looked confused for a good few seconds before he realized what his friend meant, “Oh! The laptop! Yeah I have some stuff from it.”

“Then I think it would be an excellent idea if we discussed what you found with the rest of the team immediately. Wouldn't you agree Kai?”, Zane answered while looking from Lloyd to Kai.

The red ninja nodded and got up from his seat, “Sounds good to me.”

“Alright then”, Lloyd sat up and stretched.

All three of them walked to get the others and all collectively went to discuss the information Lloyd got from Teddy. It took a few hours for everyone to get the information and for them to come up with their next steps. Afterwards they all had dinner together. They were all bantering and laughing about nonsensical topics and how their day was. Lloyd was the only one who didn't really speak of his day until Nya asked him, “What about you Lloyd? How was your day?”

Lloyd looked up from his food but before he could speak Kai already spoke, “He looked really grumpy earlier. I'm not sure what was wrong tho...”

Nya looked at the blond with a concerned look, “You okay?”

Lloyd gathered his thoughts for a second before he spoke, “Yeah I'm good, just worried about... life I guess.”

Everyone was now looking at Lloyd and Nya opened her mouth to speak but Lloyd already was speaking again, “Like I was so deep in thought I almost ran into a lamp post on my way back.” he looked back into his food trying to hide the smile he had about his own stupidity. He took another bite.

Jay snorted and swallowed his food, “Wow what would be a topic you're so deep in thought about that you almost run into a lamp post?”

Cole spoke up, “Yeah that's more a Jay thing to do, so what's up?” Jay gave an offended look and Nya laughed.

“Maybe it's a girl”, the samurai joked.

That's when Lloyd choked on his food. He started coughing while the others laughed. When he managed to stop himself from coughing he spoke again, “No! Why would you even think that?!”

“I'm pretty sure Jay actually ran against a door once, so it wouldn't-”, Kai managed to say before Lloyd interrupted him. “Why do you even immediately assume that if I was in love I'd act like Jay?!”, Lloyd looked even more offended than before. The back and forth continued for a while until everyone was finished with their food. After they all scattered around the Bounty. Zane stayed in the kitchen to clean everything up and Kai decided to help. Nya went to her room to get some work done. Cole and Jay went to the training room. And Lloyd went to their shared bedroom. He flopped onto his bed and started going through the social media on his phone. After a while of scrolling a pop-up saying he had a new message popped up. The blond opened his messenger to check it out. It said “Hi :D” from a number the ninja didn't recognize. He investigated, he opened the profile pic to see if he could figure out who it was. He indeed recognized the girl on the picture, she had bob length auburn hair, dark blue eyes with freckles all over. She was holding a cute blonde dog and had a huge smile on her face. Lloyd answered with one word “Teddy?”.

Almost immediately he got an answer, “Awww how did you figure it out this fast? :<”

The blonde smiled and answered “You have a picture of yourself as profile picture... Also is that your dog?”

While waiting for the answer he saved the number, Teddy answered “Ohh yeah I forgot... -_- And yep! That's my dog, my brother gave it to me for my birthday and his name is Bean!”

Lloyd once more smiled to himself, “He does look like a bean ;)”

“He truly does”, the girl replied in a short amount of time

The green ninja thought for a minute and then texted “How did you even get my number? I never gave it to you.”

“I memorized it”, was the answer.

Lloyd looked slightly perplexed “Memorized it? You only had my phone for a few short minutes...”

“I have good memory ;D”, Teddy replied.

The blonde boy stifles a laugh and was about to answer but the girl sent another text before he could: “I have to go now! My best friend is here to pick me up. See yah!!”

“Bye have fun!”, Lloyd replied and put his phone away with a smile. The ninja stared at the ceiling thinking for a while, just when he had an idea someone knocked on the door. Lloyd absently said 'come in' while still deep in thought.

Nya walked in and spoke: “Hey Lloyd, I need your hel-”, the girl stopped mid sentence when she saw Lloyd just staring at the ceiling with a smile. “What is up with you today? First the whole thing during dinner and now you're smiling at the ceiling?”, she quirked her brow.

Lloyd got ripped out of his thoughts and immediately sat up on his bed, “Ah sorry! I'm okay, did you need something?”

Nya shook her head and sighed, “Yeah I need your help with something...”

“Alright!” Lloyd got up and started walking towards the door, “Let's go! What do you need me for?”

The samurai followed her blond friend and inquired, “You know you can talk to me about anything right?”

“Yeah yeah I know. Now what do you need me for?”, Lloyd tried to change the subject. Nya rolled her eyes and started to explain what she needed help for.

(Meanwhile in a diffrent part of the city)

Teddy had just put her phone away and was putting on her shoes in her small rented house. Her best friend, Cora, was sitting on her couch playing with her dog.

“So who were you texting there”, Cora asked.

Teddy looked up from her shoes, “Would you stop looking through my eyes when I'm texting?” She gave a fake offended look to her blind friend. Cora always had the ability to look through others eyes whenever she wanted. By now Teddy was used to it.

“Heeey, it's not my fault! I just don't wanna sit here without seeing anything...”, the ginger girl lifted Bean into the air and made a dumb kissy face.

“Look through Beans eyes!”, Teddy stood up from tying her shoes.

Cora pouted and lifted Bean closer to her face. The small dog immediately tried to lick her face and she put him back on her lap. Bean jumped of the couch and ran to his bowl to drink something. While he did so Teddy grabbed her jacket.

“But who were you texting?”, Cora continued her pout.

“It's just someone I met at work.”, the auburn haired girl put on her jacket, “Now let's go already. Otherwise we'll be late for our movie!”, she spoke as she unlocked her front door and walked out.

“Fine, don't tell me then.” the ginger rolled her eyes and got up to follow her best friend.

“Beauty of the Sea” Q&A

I re/moved a bunch of unnecessary episodes on Tapas to make more space as we get closer to the end of Beauty of the Sea. I didn’t want to get rid of the Q&A entirely so I’m moving it here!

These are the questions from the Q&A that I got. It’s not a lot because some of the questions spoiled some things, so if your question isn’t there, that’s why. Thank you for sending your questions. I didn't include anyone's name for the sake of anonymity.

"How did you come up with the concept of the culture involving the sea, the greetings with "May the tides be with you" and such, as well as the recurring mentioning of the people whose homes are constantly swept away by the waves and they have to rebuild them every day?"

There's a lot in this question, so I'm going to tackle it one thing at a time:

1.) So, referring to the culture involving the sea. I got the idea from looking at Spanish-speaking countries and their national animals, like Spain's is a bull, Mexico's national animal is a Xoloitzcuintli (a type of hairless dog), and Puerto Rico's is the common coquí (a frog). And while looking at these animals, I wondered what it would be like if they revolved around them entirely. So, I started rough drafts and came to the conclusion that animals seemed a bit too hard for me to write with, thus the sea. I didn't get the idea of using the sea as a part of the story until "Written In The Water" by Gin Wigmore started playing and it happened. The title of the song alone was a big inspiration for everything being apart of the sea. I really wanted to create something that involved the sea in some way.

2.) The "May the tides sway with you" is from chapter 1 and I put that in there to elevate the whole premise that the sea plays a major part of the story. Like, we learn that Aeonia is not only the goddess of the sea but also the capital of Aecor. Is there a relationship there? Maybe, maybe not. You tell me. But yes, Aecorian society revolves around the sea: the sigil, the rhetoric. It's heavily engraved into Aecor but the story doesn't expose you to all of it and I did that on purpose. One reason was to keep the plot going but also because we're dealing with not only princesses and princes but individuals who don't need to use this sort of dialogue. Sure, of course, we see it with the servants in the palace but that's it. As for other interactions with this, we'd need Queen Vitana to go outside of her castle walls and interact with her people. We don't see this with the Coasters though.

3.) The Coasters were inspired by what happened in Puerto Rico. It really hit me that they had to rebuild everything and start over, so I took it up a notch and did it every day. The tide washes away their homes and their family every night. There's a lot of loss there and I show it when Cora arrives to emphasize that because, while it's introduced in Chapter 1, we get to actually witness it for a moment, and only a moment.

Is Azolda ever coming back? I get she died and all but Cora just left her for dead.

She died when Cora touched the crystals and there was that explosion if you remember that. If what you're asking is for some justice done for her, that's a bit harder. She's a really impressive character on paper for me, but if we take a look at her affects in the story, then her death changes a lot.

"What's the whole deal with the rippling water effect on Cora? Is she connected to the sea somehow? Also, what's the whole deal with Cora's dad and Amor's mom? Also, aslo, What's the missing dead parent thing?"

So, if you remember Azolda then you should remember the crystal cave. When Cora touched the crystals in the cave something set off. The crystal cave lit up and everything smoothed over. The next chapter Cora's arms ripple. There's a connection there and you see that the ripples are similar to Aeonia's on the boat that first night. If she's connected to the sea, I won't tell you if she is or isn't. ;P

As for the parents, Amor's mom, well, we know where she's at. But what's the whole story there? I can't give off that much. And Cora's dad, eh, he's her dad? that's all I can give you. I'm sorry.

What's Seran's backstory? What's does he do? I understand he tracks and hunts—sort of— but what does he actually do?

Spoilers, dearie. And what he does? Slow Meal definitely puts that in the open but for further clarification, he's essentially the commander for Fleur. Controls the government and keeps things in order, to say the least.

I'm confused about the hierarchy situation, could you possibly explain?

I'm assuming you mean of Aecor, so that's what I'm going to go with:

First off we have queen Vitana and her King. They did the woohoo and had Cora, so essentially, Cora is next in line when she comes of age (18 years old) or if her father passes, disappears, or is resected from the throne. Unfortunately, something happened to her father but Cora was not of age when it happened, so in the meantime, Vitana rules as Queen Regent. But, Cora is supposed to marry Amor. But, wait? If she marries Amor doesn’t that mean she’ll have to leave Aecor and go to Gillaria? No, not necessarily, that's not how it works in this situation. Gillaria has a different government than Aecor but it still runs on the basic Monarchy setup, but in this world, Aecor is the biggest/strongest nation so by marrying Amor to Cora, Anyel's fate was to keep the alliance they have. So in the end, Cora will marry Amor to make Amor King and Cora his Queen Consort. As for Gillaria...who knows, maybe King Anyel will find a new lady and woohoo.

Why doesn’t Vitana do anything about the Coast? Do the other people know about it?

Remember that wall and that door? The common folk know about the wall and what lies over it but they won’t go through that door. As for Vitana? That’s a hard one to answer. Of course, the last chapter made it seem like she was ignorant to it but she argued as best she could. But, we’ll get into more detail as we get further into the story. :)

What planet is Aecor on? Is it Earth or a whole planet/world you made on your own?

The simple answer is Aecor is on Earth — or derived from Earth. It's not necessarily a different planet but it's not exactly Earth if that makes sense. There's no difference in the makeup of the world. It's got trees, an ocean, animals, everything, the only difference is that some of the little things were changed. If you remember from Sub Rosa pt.2 when they had the feast there was that food: "This day will be feasted on Aecorian Crown Fish plated with roasted lily petals, dressed with Damned Sea Oregian Kelp purée." Everything there is in our world, but it just has a different name. So, in summary, it's the same world just a little different.

Where do you come up with the names for the chapters? And do they relate to the chapters in some way, like Sub Rosa? Do they have a hidden meaning?

Some of them take more time than others but some are just a given like chapter 1: Behind the Palace Walls which sets up the story for the long run, and they do relate to the stories and can act like little hints for any secrets. Sub Rosa was one of the harder ones to name because I wanted to sum up the entire chapter in a way. If you don't know, Sub Rosa is a Latin phrase that means "under the rose" and means secrecy, and if you remember that in that chapter a secret slips out in the garden house. So, yes, the chapter titles have hidden meanings to them, but some are harder to come up with and they go through a lot of changes. Sub Rosa was originally going to be Crowned Confessions but I changed it because of Mondena. Speaking of Mondena...UUHH. Sorry, Fanty can't come to the phone now. Why? Oh, 'cause he's dead. OH.

Is Mondena coming back?

Yes but no. She doesn't make another cameo but she is mentioned.

What happened to Everdeen? Shouldn't she by the queen's side?

Spoilers but, yes, she should be by the queen's side..but..which que— let's not spoil too much.

How's Anyel doing?

He's in the dungeon. With Vitana. They're both miserable.

Is there magic?

Yes! yes, there is. It's not heavily involved but it does its work.

Where's Theyo's boat?

It's in the harbor. Sitting. Waiting...

Are there any royal pets in the Aecorian or other kingdoms of this world?

There aren't any currently, although, Cora did want a cat once but that's for a later date. :)

Do you want to unlock Support with ink drops?

I'd love to! It's certainly a goal I want to reach at some point but we'll get there!

What are the character's favorite shows? Or if they were to watch shows what would they watch?

Cora: Game of Thrones, maybe.

Amor: Probably, "This Is Us," dude's got a thing for the touchy-feely stuff.

Oren: Something on the lines of "American Ninja Warrior" or like "Wipeout."

Vitana: I'm 99% sure she'd be really interested in those docuseries on Netflix.

Leticia: Woman's got some weird fetish for oppressive depressing movies like "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" or maybe "The Handmaid's Tale"

Roman: Do I have to rate this Mature?

Petunia: Not a TV fan but loves movies like "The Help."

Anyel: Does this man have fun?

Soren: He doesn't own a TV.

Are there any other Gods?

Yes. Other than Aeonia there are two others. There's Agri, God of the Land & Animals. And There's Riene, God of the Sky. Gods aren't dependent on people to exist, they just do. Gods have two forms: physical & ethereal. Their physical form is a human body. Their ethereal form is what they are the god of. Aeonia is the Goddess of the Sea, her ethereal form is the ocean, literally. Fleur's is the trees, land, anything to deal with the earth. Ariteum, the clouds, and sky, wind and air. Sometimes, they do make connections in the world but don't stay that long. Usually, when a God makes a connection, they do it cautiously so they aren't hurt in their physical form. A god's physical form is the most vulnerable. They contain a great deal of power in their physical form but are susceptive to attack which can lead to their death. If a God dies- well, none have so it's hard to say, but if it does happen, then the element they reside over will cease to exist unless they've created a failsafe—something to ensure the vitality of their element.

One important thing about the gods is that they only exist through the people who worship them. The fewer people who worship them, they become weaker and, if it comes to this, disappear and become forgotten. The gods thrive on worship/belief, they're stronger with those who believe in them. The more vulnerable a person or people, the more likely a belief in the gods. For Coasters, Aeonia is worshipped and believed in because they want help, need help.

Gods can also be summoned but under specific circumstances and with the right words...

How did Leticia stay alive in the dungeon for so long?

Well, let's see. Vitana made sure she was fed, watered, and treated well enough so she had the nutrition, but she was still weak yet still strong enough to move her limbs. There's a mention in chapter 22 where she mentions something about calling upon "the one true queen of Aecor." That's where she was able to obtain enough strength to stay alive, through the sea, the moon, the goddess.

How long have you been working on this?

A while, actually. I started publishing this story on Tapas back in August, but I officially started BOTS a year ago. The idea was there but I put it to the side to work on other things.

Is your name actually Fanty?

Is this question real? Fanty is just a name I use when I'm online. My actual name is Josh but I go by Fanty because it's simple and I love elephants.

Do you write Beauty of the Sea by yourself?

I don't! I'm glad I caught this question because Beauty of the Sea is bigger than just me. Beauty of the Sea started out as a thought one day in class. I was just daydreaming and then Beauty of the Sea came to mind. I went more in depth with, planning and plotting to see what I could do with this idea and how I could continue it. So, I brought it up to one of my close friends, Gaby, and she said she wanted to help in some way and so she became a part of Beauty of the Sea. With Gaby, the idea became a small plot, the small plot became an entire story and since then I have continued to write Beauty of the Sea. This was a year ago and in that year we have written, edited, and completed over 20 chapters of Beauty of the Sea all revolving around the same idea. A young girl's aspiration to find an ocean goddess. So, essentially, I do the writing, Gaby does the editing, and you do the reading. That's how Beauty of the Sea comes to life. :)

Is there anywhere we as readers can personally talk to you?

I was actually looking for an excuse to mention Discord so thank you. I made a Discord server when we hit 50 subscribers but I never said anything but now that there's interest in it, here we go! I love the new Star Wars movies, I do. But this fic treats Han, Leia, and Luke so much better than TFA does. Please go read this pure perfection of a work and give it all the love it deserves. While you’re at it, check out... Everything else @lajulie24 has written; it’s all golden.

Not gonna lie, this is a behemoth-- two chapters that come out at like 70k which like, damn, most of my one-shots aren’t even 1500 words, you get props for that alone. However, every word is perfect. There’s lot of pining, and hey, Percy Jackson with anxiety? Works. I saw my own anxiety reflected all over the place which... Was not the main reason I fell in love with this fic, but it’s nice to be recognized, you know? No, I fell in love with this fic because it’s about falling in love and making friends and growing up. And it’s beautiful, so go read it. TW: Anxiety attacks (Is that a tw? Oh well)

Miracles, etc. (Wanda Maximoff x Vision, Marvel Cinematic Universe) AO3 [In progress]

My Beauty, My Baby (Gen, Downton Abbey) FF [Complete]

Cora and Sybil share a moment on the eve of the birth of Sybil and Tom's child. This story takes place in Season 3, sometime between Episodes 4 and 5. This is a bit of a departure for me, but the title words were an inspiration.

This is just so lovely. Sybil and Cora’s relationship is, I feel, kind of unexplored, so this was such a lovely treat.

When heiress Mary Crawley finds herself in the headlines for her third scandal of the year, Cora decides that it is time for Mary to turn her public image around. The solution? Hire humanitarian lawyer Matthew Crawley, whose new charity just happens to need a new donation, to play Mary’s boyfriend. (Modern Mary/Matthew!Fake Dating AU)

Were you aware you needed a modern fake dating AU for these two? No. But you do. It cleanses the soul with its perfectness. Go read it. TW: Descriptions of past not quite rape but I think it’s still classified as sexual assault

The Only Crime Is To Lose (Gen, Game of Thrones) AO3 [I think in-progress?]

The series doesn’t have a description, so here’s my attempt at one: The major houses of Westeros are crime families at war. This author expertly adapts the plotting and relationships into this scenario, which takes place after the Red Wedding-- which, in this world, involved Robb getting arrested and put away for life-- and most of the action surrounds the kidnapping of Jaime Lannister, though no one knows who did it. I’m not actually certain if this series is finished or not, but it leaves me reeling from unanswered questions and its overall beauty every time I finish the last story, so you should check it out so we can all share the pain. TW: I mean it’s Game of Thrones so like a lot of that stuff still applies

Treading Water (Annie x Finnick, The Hunger Games) AO3 || FF [Complete]

They don't tell you when you go into the arena that the lucky ones are those who die.

I don’t think I can state enough how amazing this fic is. The beautiful relationship between Finnick and Annie, the breathtaking way Catching Fire is woven into the story, and seeing the Games from the mentor’s perspective is fascinating. Go read this fic! TW: It’s the Hunger Games so anything from the books applies

we got the world (Jesse x Beca, Pitch Perfect) AO3 || FF [Complete]

Did you wish there had been more Jeca in Pitch Perfect 2? Then read this fic. It’s perfect in every way. (Written before PP3 though, so not canon compliant for that).

My OUAT Season 7B Theories

1) Drizella/Ivy is Regina’s daughter

For one, the girl looks JUST LIKE HER. Like dang, right down to the side braid in flashbacks/short dark hair and fire red lipstick with that devilish smirk. She literally parallels Regina in every way. She despises her “mother” Rapunzel/Victoria enough to seek out magic to get away from her just like how Regina was with Cora. Rapunzel/Victoria resents her and prefers Anastasia for some unknown reason the writers haven’t explained yet. Victoria has yet to show any sign of magical abilities, whereas Drizella is just as powerful as Regina despite having hardly any training, so she ought to come from a powerful magical family. Also the show keeps dropping hints, like Rumple referring to Drizella as “Princess” and Rapunzel not embracing Drizella when she returned home in 7x09. 7x10 was the biggest indicator for me when Victoria used “blood magic” to turn Drizella to stone. Eight years later when Gothel turned her back human Regina was shocked beyond belief and even said “That’s impossible! Blood magic can’t be reversed”, thus proving Bictoria likely didn’t use blood magic! Also later in the episode during the battle Regina asked Drizella if she was still having “mommy issues”. I’m not sure why nobody’s talking about this but the odds are stacking up in favor of this mother/daughter connection. My questions are: How is she hers? Did Victoria kidnap her? Victoria must know, that’s why she hates her, so why did she raise her? Does Drizella know? Does Rumple know? Is she possibly Wish!Regina/Robin’s child? If she’s Robin’s daughter, does that make her and Robin Jr sisters AND 1st cousins? How is this going to play into this already extremely complex season? I NEEED to know!

2) The White Elephant Sent Hook on a Wild Goose Chase

So, at the last minute, Hook gave Cinderella the elephant that would ensure Hook had his daughter Alice as his daughter under the new curse. In HH, Hook believes his daughter to be Eloise Gardner, and has a journal of hers with the symbol of the Coven of Eight in it. WHAT IF in the Land Without Magic, Eloise Gardner is Robyn’s alias. That would explain why she knew the Coven of Eight symbol, because she heard her mom and aunt talking about it in 7x10. This would mean he thinks Kelly/Zelena is his ex, which would be completely hilarious. Hook can’t find her yet because something happened when Robyn worked for Regina that made her decide to leave, which caused Zelena and Hook to split, Zelena moving to San Francisco and Hook becoming a cop to try and find Robin/Eloise. He remembers playing chess with her because Robyn and Alice likely played together, and under the curse he’s befriended Alice because she reminds him of his daughter *wink wink*.

3) My Coven of Eight Theory

Here’s who I think will be in the Coven of Eight:

1) Gothel (confirmed, also I’m 80% sure she’s Mother Willow in Pocahontas because she’s referred to as mother AND the witch in Brave)

2) Anastasia OR Drizella (If Drizella takes back her powers, and she’s a badass from a line of powerful witches (see Theory 1), so I expect nothing less)

3) Regina

4) Zelena

5) Robyn (daughter of Zelena AND a hella good archer, definitely)

6) Alice (daughter of Gothel, again from a powerful line of witches)

7) Tiana OR Cinderella (I’m hoping for Tiana because of all the magic in Princess and the Frog, maybe we’d see more Louisiana bayou culture and some of the cool magical medicinal practices, also Tiana’s a badass whereas Cinderella’s a whiny pansyass that annoys me to no end)

8) Tiger Lily/Pocahontas (Slightly OOC, but after that brief cameo in 7x10 I could easily see Native American magic being brought in to the story, that’d be really cool!)

Here’s who I think WAS in the Coven of Eight:

1) Cora

2) Ursula

3) Maleficent

4) Snow Queen

5) Gothel

6) Cruella DeVil

7) Lady Tremaine?

8) Evil Queen? (Could he Wish!Timeline, or honestly it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Regina was in it but isn’t telling, it’d finally explain why Ursula, Maleficent and Cruella all equally hated her, she may have been the reason the Coven was destroyed in the beginning, especially if it’s when she was creating the Dark Curse and was looking for help)

I will say I feel like it’s passing on the baton from the old, classic female villains to the newer ones, which I’m pretty hype about.

4) Robyn and Alice

This isn’t a theory, just a short note to say I personally love this pairing for all of the two scenes we’ve seen of Robyn. I appreciated the genuineness of how Robyn felt uncomfortable and awkward when her mom was gossiping with her aunt Regina in front of her about how she was experiencing “young love”, and really felt Robyn’s awkwardness accurately portrayed the love Robyn has for Alice. Robyn’s the character that would do anything for Alice, and the love and happiness they had for one another in that one scene they had together had me gushing so hard my fairytale/history obsessed gay heart could hardly take it, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this couple ends up!

Overall though, I really like this season and wish people would give it a chance. Yes, it’s EXTREMELY confusing, the time jumps and lack of ageing is driving me insane, and I think Cinderella’s the most whiny/stereotypical damsel in distress/non-badass woman in the entire 7 seasons of the series and makes me cringe because she doesn’t fit the epic feminist themes of the show. That being said, the rest of this season has been phenomenal. Regina and Rumple are fire, I’ve never been so excited for two characters. I was never really a Hook fan until now, and I really think they’ve made his character more likable. I like how with the new realm, ANY character can be brought back and able to cross any racial/cultural/gender/age lines. Suddenly daring thieves like Robin Hood can be a badass girl who happens to like other badass girls, or POC are able to be represented through stereotypical white fairy tale figures. This show likely won’t last till season 8, and it’s really a shame, because I think it’s really doing a great job of bringing in social commentary, and I look forward to seeing where the writers decide to go next!

That said, there are guys who are fighting for roster spots and looking to impress managers and coaches, and teams do factor in spring training performances when making key roster decisions. It’s far from irrelevant, and it can certainly set players off on the right foot for a strong year ahead. Here are ten players who are impressing so far in spring training.

10) Jacob deGrom, P, Mets

The biggest name on the list, deGrom looks like his usual strong self in spring training. That’s not nothing, as many pitchers in particular use spring to test out pitches and work on things without really worrying too much about the results. deGrom is doing that, but he’s getting results anyway to the tune of 15 strikeouts and just two walks in 12 innings. He looks poised for another excellent season, and the Mets should probably get that contract extension done or face the consequences.

3) Jesus Luzardo, P, Athletics

Luzardo wasn’t seen as likely to make the rotation at the start of spring, but he’s making it tough for Oakland to deny him a spot. In just 9.2 innings, he’s struck out 15 batters while walking four. Opponents are hitting .176 against him, and his ERA is just 0.93. A consensus top-15 prospect in all of baseball, Luzardo dominated both A and Double-A ball last season, but struggled in Triple-A. He may end up flying past that if he keeps pitching like this.

2) Hunter Pence, OF, Rangers

Pence turns 36 in April and he looked washed up last season in San Francisco, batting .226 with no power. He joined Texas on a minor league deal, overhauled his swing, and appears to have found something. Pence has the best OPS of all qualified hitters this spring, with a .400 average and a .486 OBP. He’s also hitting for power, with three home runs and four doubles combining for more than half of his 12 hits. He even has four stolen bases. There may be something left in this bat after all.

1) Peter Alonso, 1B, Mets

Forget about service time. Alonso is making himself very, very difficult to ignore in Florida. The top Mets prospect is smashing the baseball through 11 games, with four doubles, three home runs, and six RBIs. He’s hitting for average, too, at .406. All of it was enough for Red Sox manager Alex Cora to dub him “probably the best hitter in Florida right now.” It’s high praise, and there are going to be a lot of angry, frustrated Mets fans if he’s not brought north with the ballclub.

as the year comes to a close (there are forty-five minutes left as I begin to type this post), I’m gonna say a thing, and maybe it’ll make some people unhappy, but I only give enough of a shit to read-more this bitch, because I have a tendency to ramble.

maybe this is stupid/petty of me, but honestly? whatever. bashing/shitting on mass effect andromeda needs to be left behind in 2018.

I understand a lot of people were disappointed by the game for various reasons, whether they be about a story that they didn’t find interesting, or characters they thought were dull, or all the reports about game glitches and bugs. one of my best friends ended up having to purchase a second copy of the game for her console because her PC version bugged out so bad it corrupted her save files and the game wouldn’t even run well. even I had my share of glitches! I remember playing Drack’s loyalty mission and at the end, the three of us (being Drack, my Ryder, and another guy) were all standing out in space and then I got stuck on a loading screen (praise jesus for autosaves). I also fell prey to that awful glitch on the Tempest where you would walk up to that comm area but fall through the ramps into space and then spawn back on the ship with half health and no shields (I was so happy when Bioware patched that out).

but so many people decided andromeda was a bad game because of some glitches, and like I was just saying, I understand some people got some seriously shitty ones, to the point where some people couldn’t legitimately play the game, but how does not being able to play the game because of bad bugs equate to a game being bad? it’s not like the players had any idea their games would be so buggy, and it’s not like there was much of a fix aside from purchasing a new copy (which isn’t exactly a great solution, but it was really the only one available).

how can someone say a game is terrible just because they can’t play it? the problem is you haven’t been able to experience the game! your only argument is that the game didn’t work for you, and you can really only carry that so far. and that kind of thing won’t really stand up to others’ arguments about having issues with story progression or character development or romance options or combat mechanics. and I hope anyone has been reading this through a ‘this is my opinion’ lens, because that’s exactly what this is. this is an opinion post, and y’all are free to agree or disagree. it’s beautiful.

but, since I’m not sure I ever made a serious opinion post/thing about andromeda, I’m gonna include that here. so mass effect as a whole, as a community, has been a huge part of my life for the past handful of years. I’ve made a lot of friends talking about it and roleplaying about it (almost exclusively on tumblr) and it really paved the way for me as far as my interest and love for a good sci-fi rpg, and honestly rpg games in general. the original trilogy were some of the first video games I had really vested any time in, since all my experience beforehand was with educational shit and at the time, I was dabbling in world of warcraft (which is a whole other thing).

I loved those games. I was in them from the second the campaign started. mass effect 1? I was so excited I was Commander Shepard, I was hot shit, I was ready to do some good work for my planet and shit, and then...well, the entire game happened. I was in from the beginning and I just got sucked in further. mass effect 2? I was in from the beginning. I had just saved the galaxy from certain doom and then MY SHIP BLEW UP BUT HEY I’m not dead this is new (mass effect 2, to this day, remains my favorite game of the trilogy). mass effect 3? I was in from the beginning, I had already saved the galaxy twice and I was taking some (involuntary) time off but OOPS WE FUCKED UP time to save the entire galaxy again. and man let me tell you, the first time I finished mass effect 3, I was bawling my eyes out in a chair in the middle of my mother’s living room and she looked at me like I was crazy (which I am). the end of mass effect 3 still makes me emotional because it’s just such a climactic end to a whole series. I had invested hundreds of hours into multiple different characters and I didn’t care I was playing the same story over and over again because the personality and appearance customization didn’t make it seem like I was playing the same game over and over again. it felt like a new game each time and the story was just familiar.

andromeda wasn’t like that. I wasn’t in it from the beginning. I was excited about it, holy shit. it was almost all I talked about from when it was officially announced to when it was released. I waited months to save my paychecks to be able to drop some dollars on a preorder. and I agree that the game was overhyped, but nothing about it was ever disappointing. I found I couldn’t compare it to the trilogy games because a) it had been five years since there had been a new mass effect game and b) this new game was a completely different universe with a completely different cast of characters and a completely new story arc. I appreciated the cameos of old characters and mentions of things that happened in the trilogy games, but the connection wasn’t huge. I was actually kind of happy that andromeda could be used as a standalone game since it didn’t have huge ties to the previous games. it was a branch out in a bigger way that dragon age inquisition was (I use this reference because none of the dragon age games were as closely tied to each other as the mass effect games were, but inquisition was kind of removed from the first two games and only retained some of the same characters, but I’m not gonna get too into that here).

it took me time to get into andromeda. I had to play through some of the story first, and I think it speaks to how profound the previous trilogy was for me, because I wanted to know what happened in andromeda, I wanted to know the stories of all these new characters and this new place. and it only got better. I got sucked in, and when I finished andromeda I was impressed. I didn’t feel ripped off or copped out. fuck, I was proud to have andromeda in with the family of the trilogy games.

yeah, I was disappointed that there’s no longer going to be any work on the game and that it’s not getting dlcs and there’s little room for a fifth installment of the mass effect series, but the games we have are masterpieces. andromeda has just as much replay value as its predecessors. I have that same ‘not playing the same story over and over again’ feeling with andromeda because the customization makes it as though I have a new personality to explore each time, and man did I enjoy my relationships with those characters. my Ryder and Jaal are best buds and I die. Vetra is my space wife and I love her. Suvi is such a cutie and I’m excited she’s got grounds in religion because I feel like that’s not a thing that’s really a huge part of video game characters in sci-fi universes. Peebee is a nerd and she’s great. Cora has such a good arc, ugh.

...seeing as I want to post this before the actual end of the year, I’m gonna leave some final thoughts and just say that the people who played a good chunk of andromeda can come to me with opinions and judgments on the game. and honestly, this goes for any game. don’t make judgments on a game because of the things you’ve heard. have your own experience with it, make your own judgments. and something like bad glitches is not an excuse to make a game terrible. I’m done with all this negative shit about a game that was actually fantastic.
