How do you think Simon would react to reader asking to be spanked? Like she wants something a lil rougher, but she doesnt want Simon to actually be upset enough at her to punish her. So instead of acting up, being bratty, she just sits by him or kneels at his feet and asks. Maybe really polite, maybe really hesitant, but definitely unsure. ghost would know something was up as soon as she started being a little clingy, staying right in his shadow - especially considering johnny was "napping" and he only ever napped alone when he couldn't work out his frustration in some other way. he figures they got into another little fight, something he'd have to soothe in bed that night if he decided to avoid punishments

but then he sits on the couch, and she sinks to her knees in front of him, hands folded politely in her lap. it takes her a bit to work up the nerve to ask for what she wants, but ghost gives her the time to put the words together, relaxes back in the chair and guides her head to rest on his knee

and she glances up at him, nervous and so so pretty, and says "will... will you spank me sir?"

ghost feels his heart melt, works hard to keep his face neutral so she doesn't know how weak he is for her already. he shifts a bit in his spot, then speaks. "do you need to be punished?"

Arab nations were never accepting of British or French presence in the area, way before the establishment of Israel in 1948. In fact, there was a big revolution against British presence in Palestine in 1936 (look up the 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine; plenty of sources. I don't want to limit you but be careful doing research and consult multiple sources. A lot of sources are deeply racist, calling any Arabs resisting against British colonialism "gangs" and "peasants." Anyway, here's one source).

In summary, the British killed Shaikh Izz al-Din al-Qassam in 1935. His followers started an uprising. It started with a strike but escalated quickly into attacks. Of course, most people ignore the violence inflicted by the colonizers in their narrative but there are sources that detail how cruel the British were to Palestinians. One instance that describes it is the AHC telegram of June 18, 1936: "Army men beat unarmed Arab villagers [and] destroy[ed] furniture [and] food supplies" (source).

Obviously, Arabs were against this violence and brutality and colonialist takeover of their land so they resisted. Palestinians and non-Palestinians attacked British installations (Jewish installations created by British powers were also attacked; it was not because they were Jewish, but because they were created through colonial British brutality).

Did Val get a redesign? On your chibi examples she has an orange straw and bracelet?

I did!! I changed one of her straws to a cookie straw and gave her a cute golden bracelet :)

I also made her shoes pink (they were black before) and I made the yellows in her design darker, which is present in her foam and the fluff on her shorts, but those are more subtle changes.

I wanted to incorporate more orange into her design so they and Boba would feel more like they belong together. I also wanted to fit more pink into Boba's design (likely making his browns more pink? haven't decided yet)!!
