We're all (rightly) talking about heron this, wizard that, sea lady of my heart, oh those birds were really something, the mother is on fire and also displaced in time and space whoops, but can we focus also on the really fucking awesome normal animation? Eddie, even Steve and the others, would of helped throw the performance together with minimal complaint because after everything they’d been through it’d be nice to just see the kids having silly fun together.

Years in the future after most everyone has made a notable name for themselves the old home video footage they’d made of the party messing around, laughing, and goofing off to the performance gets leaked online and spread around. It goes viral when people realize who these teens/young adults actually are in this random yet hilarious amateur parody music video made in the 80s out of someones garage.

there is one thing I am particularly salty about concerning the gotg3 movie though

adam keeps having his plots stolen from him.

I'm not even joking. tbh the characterization was too little to see what they're doing with him, but it was very "just-released-from-his-cocoon" adam. but his plots? they keep giving them to other characters!

he was a pivotal and prominent character in the comic infinity gauntlet saga. not anymore.

he is directly linked with the soul gem and was the first one to appear with it in the comics. infinity stones did not exist in comic lore before adam.

his first real adventure was set on counter-earth and dealing with the high evolutionary. he stops the high evolutionary from destroying counter-earth! but he's barely a footnote in the movie and now it's going to be associated with rocket. high-evolutionary was basically adam's father figure, rather than him having a mother figure.

tbh, I don't mind the rocket bit so much, I just wish they had let adam have his own relevance to the story. give him man-beast! let him help the guardians more! something!
