We're all (rightly) talking about heron this, wizard that, sea lady of my heart, oh those birds were really something, the mother is on fire and also displaced in time and space whoops, but can we focus also on the really fucking awesome normal animation? I'm not talking about all the many jaw dropping sequences, it's just... I watched a character cut a slice of bread and i was in tears from it. It was just. Such an ordinary thing. So good. So well made. True to life but also a step away from it. I was crying istg.
