To the best of your knowledge, is there any truth to the old story about how video game designers would intentionally put mechanics no one could never hope to figure out in their games in order to make you buy the guide book?
I don't know that I ever heard anything directly that supported that, but I did once have Victor Ireland tell me that the review builds he sent out at Working Designs deliberately had differences to the final version to ensure that any unauthorized guides would be wrong. Never checked to see if the was telling the truth on that one, but it did make me think that I should never trust a review build over final retail for any of their future games.
i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
Welp. Everything else that we've done hasn't worked. So instead of trying to blow things up from a distance, the plan is to blow it up all up close and personal. Which seeing as I've been using napalm the whole game, works for me. #silpheed #ps2 #retro
im so happy for all the ppl who r experiencing lunar the silver star for the first time rn cause of the mobile android port!!! plz troop thru the horrible touch pad controls n stick with the game ... it is a masterpiece!
