So Ross Scott has been trying to build a strategy for how to combat the Games as a Service model where games you bought can be unceremoniously stolen from you by shutting down some servers. I feel this is somewhat important, and here's the video shared on Tumblr!

This is such a 4am thing for me to do, but I'm thinking about calling for Lunar Week sketch requests ahead of time this year...

(....since it took me 9 to 10 months to finish last year's requests.... I mean, my pride in my speed has been hurt, but to be fair there really was just a lot of extra crap to wade through in 2023.)

Also we good on second to last week in June for LW2024? I feel like usually a lot of stuff tends to come up for folks around that time. Should we move it back? Forward? Aim for a specific significant date in Lunar history?

I honestly and truly believe all good AUs should be a little “”””ooc”””” in the sense that good characterisation involves understanding that changes a characters backstory and circumstances will have an effect on how they respond to the world around them

Good characterisation isn’t about creating a perfect 1:1 canon replica it’s about understanding why a character is different in your work and about grounding the changes you do deliberately choose to make in canon character traits

Oh what the heck, might as well plop this on the original post, via my Ghaleon-centric blog while I'm at it, just to increase the chances OP eventually sees it. :3

So, um. I've been sitting on this drawing for over a year I think. ///o_o/// tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow (I'm shortening that to tx3 for the rest of this post) kind of influenced my subconscious mind to start writing my own "Ghaleon in gay elf jail" fancomic project. When I realized that, I was overcome with a NEED to give back to the fic that inspired me in the first place.

...the thing is, it's part of a set of 3 illustrations, and I kinda wanted to finish the other two drawings before I shared any if them, but then... time kinda got away from me.... ^^;;;
