Hey Rose! Mind if I request a romantic fluff fanfic about werewolf! Lawrence Talbot (The Wolfman, 2010 remake) x Reader? If not, sorry.
Hello anon👋😃I just saw your request😅 Anyways, I will admit my mom and stepdad are more into horrors movies than I am, especially with Wolfman movies😅 However I definitely will write this fanfic to see how this turns out😅 1 more thing before I write this, I will be writing "character x any gender reader", because I noticed that you haven't specified what gender you would like me to write with the reader😅 Hopefully you will enjoy this fanfic despite of me writing the reader as "any gender reader"😃👍
Tumblr media
🐺🌕👨‍💼Metting Your Werewolf (or Wolfman) Who Is Your Shining Knight In Werewolf (or Wolfman) Armor👨‍💼🌕🐺(Lawrence Talbot x Any Gender Reader)
Genres: Romantic Fluff and Head Cannon(?) (Warning ⚠️: Depending on the reader's imagination)
*Your first encounter with Lawrence Talbot, while he's in werewolf (or wolfman) form, was when he saved your life from a bunch of criminals (depending on the reader's imagination what the criminals tried to do to the reader and how Lawrence Talbot saved the reader's life). After he saved your life he would run away. You would then discover his foot prints, as you then decided to follow him right after you discovered his foot prints.
*Once you followed Lawrence back to his hiding place, he would realize that you were following him right away and he will be skittish of you. However once you comfort him, assure that you're not going to hurt him and not afraid of him, and you letted him know that he saved your life, he would come out of his hiding place and come to you. He would even let you hug him.
*Time passed by as both you and Lawrence got to know eachother (especially while he's in his werewolf (or wolfman) form. Another thing that has been happening is both of you have developed feelings for eachother. And those feelings the both you have for eachother are definitely mutual romantic feelings.
*Lawrence would definitely try to win your affection by cooking, protecting you, getting you flowers, (depending on the reader's imagination about anything else he would do to win the reader's affection, otherwise it's etc...), which he always wins your affection. However anything you do for him, especially taking care of his wounds, making him food, and anything else you do for him, you win his affection much easier. It's a bonus if you set up a surprise date for him with candle lights, and table set up with some food you and him like with a rose (in a vase) in the center of the table.
👨‍💼🐺The 🌕 End🐺👨‍💼
I hope you had fun reading this requested fanfic my Tumblr Peeps👨‍💼🌕🐺👍I also hope you enjoyed reading this fanfic you requested as well, anon🐺🌕👨‍💼👍I figured this request was definitely differently and I would come up with some ideas for this fanfic, I as could think of which I had fun doing😃👍

"WHATEVER DID IT, IT WAS BIG, HAD CLAWS, AND DIDN'T MIND A LOAD OF BUCKSHOT."
PIC INFO: Spotlight on a promotional image of the Wolfman, from the American period horror film "The Wolfman" (2010), directed by Joe Johnston. It was a remake of the classic Universal film "The Wolf Man" (1941).
"It was about twenty-five years ago now. My pa found him: Quinn Noddy and all his flock. Brains, guts and God-knows-what lying across the moor. And the look on Quinn's face. Like he'd been eaten alive. Whatever did it, it was big, had claws, and didn't mind a load of buckshot. After that, me father went home. He melted down my ma's wedding spoons, and cast silver bullets off 'em. He wouldn't leave the house on a full moon from then on."
-- MACQUEEN (played by British actor Clive Russell), screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker & David Self

For Jenny: you've mentioned your godfather is mothman and your partner's father is Santa, do you know any other famous extranormal folk?
So, point of order, and I hate to be a pedant here, but Norm was the one who said that Mothman is my godfather-
Yeah, my bad. Didn’t mean to out you like that.
-It’s fine, Norm. Mr. Kringle said that Reggie, my girlfriend, is his daughter. I don’t know if the vibe came across during his interview, but Mr. Kringle is not the kind of person you correct.
I’m actually a little self conscious about my connections with the community, I get really bad imposter syndrome, and the knowledge that my grandfather got me the job I have right now doesn’t help with that, so I try really hard not to namedrop.
Listen, your grandad is a good judge of character on top of being a friend. He wouldn’t have brought you up if he didn’t think you’d fit. I was in the…hospital when he visited. “I have….just the…per-son for the…..job,” he said.
My grandad also hijacked a- wait, are the records on that one still sealed?
Yeah, anything in the 70s we can’t–
Right. Beyond that, uhhh, my ex claimed he was the mocap actor for Benecio del Toro’s werewolf form in the 2010 Wolfman remake?  And that they asked him to come in because his grandfather was Lon Cheneys body double?
Which, we know who that was, we have the files. I could bring them up right now.
No, yeah, I’m almost a hundred percent certain he’s full of ████.
Rudy could have been the body double in 2010? He was at least that old, so you – he –
Can we not talk about my bad relationship decisions on a public forum please?
Yeah, sorry. Just, you know.
I know.
If I can chime in, I know her grandad as a friend. Hadn’t met Jenny until she came here, but he and I had worked together in West Virginia, being a Virginian myself. I was friends with Yth’Wa before her metamorphosis and appointment as leader of the Yellow Circle. Dogsat for her a couple times. Oh, I also met Gef the mongoose when I visited HMES that one time when I was a junior agent.
Oh I met Flatwoods once!
Oh, really? What’s she doing now? Modeling on Glammr, right?
Yeah, she has millions of followers.

Okay, so I don't think I've done anything for this guy yet. Probably cuz not many people know about him. Hell, I didn't even know about him or the film he's from until recently. So Imma do a character x reader fanfic with Lawrence Talbot AKA the Wolfman from the 2010 remake "The Wolfman" but it will be all about the reader's encounter with his wolf form.
The Beast's Gentle Side (Lawrence Talbot, the Wolfman, x GN! Reader)
Tumblr media
Genere(s): Fluff, comfort, fanfic, slight thriller
Rating: All ages
Warning(s): Just some slight thrills followed by fluff cuddles and kissing :)
Fandom: The Wolfman (2010 remake)
Word Count: 815
It was a cold night in the forest and you were just walking through to get home as fast as you could. You had been walking for at least an hour or two when your legs started to hurt and feel tired. So you stopped to take a rest and gaze at the night sky. It was beautiful up in the starry heavens. The stars were twinkling their radiant glow and the full moon was just-
You paused, frozen by fear at the sudden realization. Full moon? That wolf-thing shows up every full moon. This was bad. You began to panic, trying to think of how you could possibly escape the Wolfman's wrath. But every possibility you could think of always led you to one thing, your death. You had no way out, you were going to die in this forest if the Wolfman found you.
You desperately looked for a place to hide until the sun rose or until the beast left. To your own astonishment you found a small secluded alcove that looked to be big enough for you yet too narrow for the monster to reach you so you hid in there and just bit off your time. Waiting for the nightmare to end before it had even begun.
You heard howling in the distance. The beast was close, very close. Your heart was now pumping blood throughout your entire body faster than ever before. You heard the rustling of leaves and the snapping of twigs on the ground as well as wolfish growling. You kept still and silent so as to hopefully escape the beast's notice. And there he was, standing right in front of you. On the prowl, more than likely for food. You were terrified, and rightfully so.
You had kept quiet and still for upwards of about a minute and you thought the beast was about to leave, but then he turned around and looked down at you. You dared not to break eye contact so as to stay safe and attempt to assert some kind of dominance over him, to no avail. The beast grabbed you by the arm and pulled you out, causing you to scream in terror, but he didn't pull with the force that would rip off your arm. He then had you pinned against the rock wall behind you and he leaned in close and did something you didn't expect of the monster. He started to nuzzle your nose and cheek with his own as well as taking short and rapid sniffs of your scent.
You were still afraid, but you were also, and understandably, confused. The legends said the Wolfman was a violent murderous creature of the night that would kill anything it perceived as prey, an enemy or a threat. And yet, here he was behaving like a little puppy that was excited to see their owner again after a long day. Regardless, you knew that if you showed any sign of resistance or made any sudden moves, you'd be killed.
You slowly raised your arms until you could wrap them around his broad shoulders and neck so you could hug him. As such he reciprocated by wrapping his arms around your waist and abdomen gently, clearly knowing how much stronger he is than you. He continued to take small sniffs and pressed his nose into the crook of your neck and your hair to really get a good whiff of you. When he nuzzled your nose with his, you attempted to kiss him. Your lips made contact with his and at first you thought you were screwed given that he stopped. But then as you pulled away he chased after your lips to kiss them. Guess he likes it. You then ran your fingers through his fur and you were surprised by how soft it was. It looked messy as all hell, but it was as soft as a cloud should be.
Most would've wanted to flee in terror or possible embarrassment at this, but not you. You wanted more. You saw the Wolfman not as a monster, but as a misunderstood creature that is just as capable of feeling and understanding emotion as any human being.
Once you both had enough of the kissing, he picked you up and saddled you on his back as he ran towards an empty cabin. Probably abandoned by the previous owner. He set you down on a bed and climbed in with you. Clearly he too wanted more of that sensation. He held you close and you wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders and fluffy neck and gave him a smooch on the cheek while gently stroking it and wishing him goodnight for what little time you had left with him. And when the morning came, Lawrence knew what happened, and was head over heels for you as you were for him.
The End
Thank you guys for taking the time to read this. I may not fully understand the character of Lawrence Talbot, but I just love the design of his werewolf form. The practical prosthetics and makeup was a nice touch and a clever way, in my opinion, to mesh CGI with practical effects for the transformations. (I've seen clips on YT) Regardless, if you guys want me to do another Wolfman x Reader story, let me know!

Looking at the scrapped dark universe movies and what they became and I don’t think there’s a greater example of divine reward. What would’ve been a creature from the black lagoon remake turned into the academy award for best picture winning film “the shape of water”. What would’ve been a movie that employed johnny depp turned into leigh whannell’s “invisible man”. dwayne johnson was nearly given a wolfman movie. This year we have a frankenstein movie and a bride of frankenstein movie in the works and they are completely unrelated. You can’t keep a classic universal monster (cum) down

Benicio Del Toro as Morbius the Living Vampire
Tumblr media
The director of Morbius said that Jared Leto is the only person who could've played Morbius.
That, in my personal opinion, is utter bullshit.
I personally think Benicio would've been a MUCH better choice. He's just got that look to him, y'know?
Even though he's Puerto Rican, I think he could've played the part of "diseased scientist from Greece" pretty well.
Plus, he's been in both the 2010 remake of The Wolfman, and in Guardians of the Galaxy as The Collector, so he's not new to the superhero/horror movie landscape.
Overall, I think he would've been the perfect choice for Morbius, he's not only got the looks, but he's got the acting chops, too.

Confession: I like the 2010 wolfman.
That does not mean it's a technically good film, but I like the score, the atmosphere created by the sets, costumes and make up. It oozes the Gothic horror vibe I want from Universal remakes. I also love that a fictionalized Detective Abberline is there hunting the wolfman.

Dracula and Wolfman are lesbians in love
//Vampire!Arias outfit is the original Bela Lugosi Dracula, whereas Werewolf!Micas is the 2010 Wolfman remake. uwu She wasn't too fond of how the original WM clothing covered most of her body, so we went with 2010 instead, which works!
Arias tiny 5'1" ass staring up at her 6'2" girlfriend You can basically hear the "Haha! I'm in danger!" meme.//

the /co/ castlevania nocturne leak thread has been archived. for the sake of preservation, here's the information that was given:
~
this show is somewhat of a soft reboot of the original series, it ignores a lot of what happened in the first show other than the general idea of "Dracula was defeated by Trevor and ever since the Belmonts have been fighting him for centuries
it's also adapting both Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night with the first half being Rondo and the second half being Symphony
There's a quick and really lame montage showing the Belmonts that came before Richter but it's literally only a couple of seconds at a time and they just sort of stand there
Richter spends most of the show being an actual cuck, Annette willingly chooses to go with Dracula because Richter is le incompetent privileged white man because French Revolution and a big point of the show is him proving he isn't but there's barely any payoff to it
Ricther does get cool moments but Maria gets 90% of the screentime because the director is a big simp for a Castlevania fanartist that likes Maria so expect it to be The Maria Show guest starring Richter
There's also still barely any action because Powerhouse is incompetent and had to outsource most of it to other animators
Richter has to kill Annette and this is what actually starts his corruption that leads into SOTN
timeskip happens
SOTN segment starts with Alucard waking up and the show is now basically a very very brief summarization of what happens in the game because they only have 6 episodes to work with
Alucard very quickly goes through locales of the game in a very rushed way and meets Maria and learns about Richter
they fight and Ricther has his redemption and Dracula just shows up after Shaft dies to have their fight
Richter, Alucard and Maria fight Dracula together (meant to mimic the sort of "teamwork" Trevor, Alucard and Sypha had in the original show
Alucard has a very sloppily handled emotional moment with Dracula and then Dracula dies
Ending is the same to the game pretty much, arguably the only thing that's faithful to the game
Overall presentation looks very dark and washed out, they tried too hard to emulate the artstyle of the Rondo remake, Dracula X Chronicles but it looks really sloppy
in the SOTN segment they go through the Castle Entrance, Cavern, Alchemy Lab, Library, Colosseum, the Bridge to Dracula's Throne Room and the Throne Room itself
Still no recognizable enemies other than Slogra and Gaibon as well as generic things like a wolfman and the mummy, Shaft doesn't even use Frankenstein's monster or Medusa
Alucard and Maria have an awkward sex scene in the caverns
the French Revolution plays a part in resurrecting Dracula and affects the character they made out of Richter. Richter doesn't care about it and thinks his family won't be affected by it because the Belmonts are always needed
They basically took what Richter said in the game literally, about how the Belmonts are pretty much useless and unneeded when Dracula isn't around so they make Richter a much more insecure guy than he is in the games
~
i would advise taking these leaks with a heavy dose of skepticism. the official information that we have on nocturne right now is very little, and we don't even know if it's going to be coming out this year. there's no saying how far into production the team at powerhouse animations is. 4chan leaks are often bullshit, and this could very easily be ragebait, or someone with a grudge trying to make their enemies look bad. don't take everything you read at face value.

Ten Characters * Ten Fandoms * Ten Tags
Before I list the most impactful fandoms in my list, a huge shoutout and thank you too @confettipetticoats for tagging me. =D Please go watch her (Non)-Disney crossovers on Youtube as she both so talented and such an awesome pal of mine. :D So I am ranking from 10 to 0 as why not my list, so why not include zero. >:D I tried to choose fandoms I can say I am still a part of, yet not just like, but either been a fan for a long time or the given product means a lot to me.
10. Universal Studios Monsters: Now this a confusing entry as I am not someone who seen all the monster movies, but the impact and the handful of films I have seen from original to remakes, I am a huge fan of. I mean if it was not for my special interest in Mythology as is, this fandom adds to it. Does not hurt most of the bigger or well known monsters have roots in Victorian gothic literature. Favorite monster is hard, as all of them are fun their own way, but I guess my inner psychologist would choose Wolfman/Werewolf.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. The Simpsons: Yes I agree it dragging on but still one of few shows that my full family and I bonded over, next to select shows that some family members all liked (Bones was very close to being on this list, but I never finished it). It along with other animated shows plus movies made me really want to consider voice acting for a future job. As well, I am not sure why Lisa not featured in the gif below. XD Favorite character though is Apu, plus in the video games, The Simpsons: Hit& Run and The Simpsons: Road Rage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. The Addams Family: I only watch the 90's movies and plan watch the original show and animated movies too, but from what I can tell of this fandom, very creepy, spooky, and kooky . XD Sorry too obvious to reference. Favorite characters are tied for the love birds (or bats would that be more in character) Morticia and Gomez. I try to avoid looking up to other people's relationships as everyone is so different, but I can deny these two are what I hope for in a relationship. If not that at least, I adore the just what the two stand for in a couple that is rarely depicted, friends and lovers, who do not settle and hate each other. Sorry but so many relationships especially parents seem to hate each other but stay nice for wanting a family. At a young age this trope I hated.
Tumblr media
7. Avatar: The Last Airbender: Such a great show, from world building, character arches, animation, voice acting, and much more. I rarely find myself wishing if I could voice act in something, but this a show that and overall franchise I would be so happy to be a part of. Plus Aang such a well done character and often I do not relate to a character's personality as much I had with him. If from his trying to best to see in others but grows to be selective of who to open up to, being seen as both so young but an old Soul, awkward but willing to laugh at himself, and wants to hear a different point of view or at least learn more of life are few of other traits I can relate to in him. That being said I also can relate to Iroh for similar but in his own way, traits prior. He the supportive, fun, but heartfelt uncle I hope I can be. Yes I am tied between Aang and Iroh. XD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. Owl House: Yes, a newer product on my list, but can anyone blame me? XD I am still so sad it was short as was, but hopefully come back. It had so much to offer, my newest comfort character is Eda and I am so picky of my comfort characters*, but dang this show you can tell had so much thought and carefully planned, and more. Eda the character I like most from the show too. Yes my biggest ship if Eda x Raine :P .
Tumblr media
5. Hellboy: I need to read more these comics, as the movies ugh such a great twist of fantasy, a hero who really wants to do the right thing, but you do not blame him for feeling outcasted by those he protects, and more. Bonus introduced me to my current favorite director, Guillermo del Toro. As well one of my favorite hero quotes of all time. However favorite character goes, Red/H-e-l-lboy.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
4. X-Men: I know the movies' timeline is all over the place, the X-Men Evolution Wolverine seems so hated (even though a guilty pleasure of mine), the first two are the best in the full series along a few standouts, but dang it this movie series was and still holds so much meaning to me. I mean the not so subtle message of being yourself and use what makes you different as a power felt even more powerful as when younger I was diagnosed with ASD in elementary school and only found by high school from being told, but prior I felt like a mutant, like I felt so pity (yes I had former friends who only became pals because pity), teased for things like special interests, and more, but these movies made me felt there was at least somewhat others like me. Lastly, for a kid, I respect the beliefs of the leader of the "good" and "bad" were so complex, as simple narratives on morality felt so demeaning as a kid. I mean as I get older (@little-bloodied-angel and I talked about this recently) I really consider Magneto one of the best 'villains' I have watched and read (I need read more comics in general). Bonus this franchise seems so awesome the earlier films had so many people who are in the LGBTQ Community: Anna Paquin (bi woman), Ian McKellen (gay man), Elliot Page (trans man), Alan Cumming (bi man). To be fair the Mutants being a metaphor for those wanting more civil rights or equal rights is well known. Favorite character goes, of late again Magento again just the appeal he more complex and even though violence if can be avoided please do that.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
3. 90's Sailor Moon: I am aware such a case of nostalgia goggles on tightly, as I have heard the recent new version more closer to the manga. However the 90's one felt so more fleshed out and bonus the titular character herself one of FEW characters I have ever related to as a kid that was not just comedic relief or a side character. XD Yes I related the awkwardness of Thief from The Thief and the Cobbler, Flower from Bambi (if anything as a trans guy it feels so telling I wanted to liked a guy character who just happens to be comfortable being mistaken as a girl XD). Bonus one of my friends who sees me as found family, we bonded over adoring the 90's version. Favorite character the "protector of love and justice" herself.
Tumblr media
2. Disney, mostly the villains fandom: I do adore the heroes/heroines, yet the campy nature of the former hand-drawn villains so great. As well, yes I am not sorry I have a shirt with this design below. >:D In regards which one is my favorite, Maleficent.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
1. The Last Unicorn: The animated feature and the book (to be fair I have the graphic novel) both hold such introduction to Mythology for me and the writing (Peter S. Begeal I hope read more of his work) so similar to J.R.R.Tolkien in ways, that it also helped me love the fantasy genre too. Plus the sequel Two Hearts is not required reading but it does add more too. Favorite character is maybe a surprise Schmendrick. I just appreciate his confidence and overall character arch most of the main cast.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
0. The Lord of the Rings: Besides the 2001-2003 live action movies, the extended cut too, the books, and the animated movies, this franchise I can not explain enough the impact it has had on me since as far I can remember. As well yes, The Hobbit book, films (including animated movie too) are worth their thanks too. Now in regards of The Rings of Power show on Amazon, I am unsure to watch, yet that is if The Hobbit is a C at best, I worry what that show is at best. Favorite character is so hard to say, but if I had to really choose Pippin (fun fact met the actor Billy Boyd at a comicon once) as he most audience surrogate I had related to growing up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*= My other comfort characters: Eda and King
Tumblr media
Thief:
Tumblr media
Psyduck
Tumblr media
Cubone
Tumblr media
Flower:
Tumblr media
I am curious of what: @little-bloodied-angel @impossiblepeggy @airasora @geebs96 @0chaotic-queer0 @thenamelessdoll @jujubee-edits @theevilsquirrelqueen @animagix101and @wardisahi would say are themes in my choices. Plus, your ten fandoms and ten characters you peeps like. Also was unsure mythology counted as a fandom, as if it does that definitely my biggest favorite fandom.

I heard it on the grapevine that Oliver actually replaced Johnny Depp on The Invisible Men. Is it true?
i've seen this said around social media lately too and the answer is kind of complicated! basically yes and no.....
back in maybe 2015-2016 universal studios saw the success of the marvel cinematic/shared universe and decided to do something similar with its iconic horror characters like dracula, the mummy, the bride of frankenstein, frankenstein, the wolfman, the invisible man and so on. universal called this future series of films "the dark universe."
at that time they also announced a few preliminary major stars to headline the planned films, including javier bardem as frankenstein's monster, angelina jolie as the bride of frankenstein, tom cruise in a reboot of the mummy with sofia boutella as the mummy which would also introduce russell crowe's dr jekyll/mr hyde, and, yes, johnny depp as adrian griffin in a planned remake of the original the invisible man. here's the promo pic that went with that announcement.
Tumblr media
the idea was that each character would all get their own films and then do crossover/ensemble films like they did in the original 1930s.
unfortunately the first film they did was the mummy in 2017. as we know now, that film was a huge box office failure to a degree that universal pretty much immediately canceled all their plansfor the dark universe films including any sequels to the mummy and the depp - attached the invisible man. here is a list of all the canceled projects from that fallout.
instead they sold off the rights to the characters individually to other smaller studios. jason blum of blumhouse productions ended up with the rights to the invisible man and ended up getting saw's leigh whannell to write and direct the film in which oliver ended up appearing as adrian griffin.
so to answer your question: yes johnny depp was at one point attached to star in a remake of the invisible man as adrian griffin, but he was never attached to the blumhouse project that oliver was in.
so i guess oliver did "replace" depp in the grand scheme of things with classic universal horror monsters remakes in general, but they were 2 totally different projects, and depp was never attached to star in leigh whannell's shoestring budget version. that film was always going to star oliver as adrian griffin.
