YES OFC I LOVE FETCHEN they're so so so soft. softest ship i've ever witnessed

i once read a hc where they said that karen's first language isn't english but it's actually telugu or hindi (i think i forgot which oneee) and so i can imagine that when people talk bad abt karen being not the brightest person, gretchen would berate them and defend her while saying that shes actually v smart in her native language :( gretch actually took the time when they were kids to pick up a few words and phrases just to surprise karen sometimes.

and karen is very very gentle w gretchen whenever she has panic or anxiety attacks. she stays w gretch thru it all and helps her calm down. most of the time when theyre alone, karen sings for her to make gretch's worries go away. like gretchen, karen also picked up spanish for gretchen and shes actually good at it :( (gretchen mentioned once about a song her abuela used to sing for her when she was little and karen made it her mission to memorize that song so she could sing it for gretchen)

I had a whole rant prepared but I felt like my feelings were better summed up in a meme.

#people saying packing premade food to events is trashy or running errands with friends is bad can suck my wiener #that's the point #people who say a car is freedom and not a mode of transportation for emergencies and necessity can suck my wiener too #I will keep biking and I will keep bringing little picnics with me everywhere #I love outside food and I love hiking trails with friends and I love it all #but tbh I would have folded if it wasn't for all the support here on Tumblr #especially with cooking #I used to hate to cook #like 6 months ago if there was nothing to microwave at home I wouldn't eat #but now? Now it's different #I love all the pictures of cooking and fresh fruit #they make me feel much better #yesterday I made some puerto rican inspired chicken stew and it was really good #and I've been making my own boba #but I wouldn't be if it wasn't for the romanticization of cooking #goat talk #even today I had yogurt with banana and pansies and granola which isn't really cooking but I prepared something for myself

hi ! do you have any examples of different body types drawn in your homestuck style ? im just curious as to how that would look :)

ignore the shitty inaccurate anatomy, but the way i draw bodies is the same as i would draw in any other style but with less detail. it all boils down to the, ig the head really..

see same exact bodies just a different head, it doesnt register as homestuck style unless the heads are accurate.

i don't really think that the body stylization is as important as you probably think and ill explain why..

if you look at the hero mode panels for the characters, you see that they have relatively normal human shaped limbs despite them all being big long twigs. they even have five instead of three fingers a lot of times.

and then in other panels their limbs are chubby noodles, their fists being meatballs with three little wieners on em.

all of these register as homestuck styled despite having different body types, its because they all share a common head and face structure.. essentially as long as you don't add too much detail, any body type can be a homestuck body if you get the head right.

i usually limit myself to the tubular style more often because its the easiest, i should play with the realer human shapes some time.

heres a disgusting edit to hopefully get you to see what i mean.. blaaargh

Logan's getting patched up by Oya and monologing internally about how it;s so great to have no powers and could die at any moment...didn't we do this song and dance years ago before you died dude? also, you're not gonna be able to move very easily with that super heavy metal skeleton that your body won't compensate for properly without your healing factor. you know the adamantium poisoning is gonna get you. we've done this before; stop being so blasé about it.

Nekra thinks Logan's plans are dumb. Mr OC tries a psychic tap and freaks out because Graydon is so much worse than Victor? uh...wut. wiener boi, even in new shiny tinfoil mode, is not as large scale of a threat as you're making him seem. i'm sorry, but no. you cannot excuse taking the spotlight off of a main character because the wieners secondary (tertiary even) character is now the big bad and final threat. i'm just...uhg. Graydon is a wiener, and he has his purposes, but this isn't one of them. "extra dimensional tech will make this easy' yeah, uhhu, sure. you know what would've made this make sense; us seeing HOW we got this cool maybe. because you give the wiener a shiny gun doesn't mean we will immediately think he's cool and capable; it just makes him look like a wiener with a gun and make we should duck because he's probably doing to accidentally shoot himself with it.

whelp, this one wasn't so bad (why'd it warrant such a comedic warning idk lol). we progressed a bit, we got some flashbacks, we got a lot of dumb padding/stretching. but Arkady is confirmed still here, and in part 8, so i'll take it. (still not convinced my conspiracy theory that he was originally supposed to be dead in part 1 and it was changed last second isn't true...he has no lines in these 2 pages and could've been added in after the fact...he still isn't in the opening lineups yet Aurora and Northstar are and they haven't appeared in a couple issues)
