Disney movies aren't real. The Hallmark Channel isn't real. The Princess Bride isn't real. Romance novels aren't real. Adult videos aren't real. Hashtag-riddled Instagram posts of celebrity couples aren't real. 80s love ballads aren't real. And, as much as I hate to say it, The Addams Family isn't real.
Most Americans' (and Canadians') view of love is primarily influenced by one or more of these. Before one gets married, one needs to disavow all of these things as remotely realistic depictions of how couples are to love each other. Loving is an action, and if your concept of the act of loving is based primarily in self-fulfillment and emotion, your relationships are all doomed to fail.

What is your opinion of Walt Disney?
Okay I will warn you this will be a bit long
Walt Disney is an inspiration flat out no matter what you say he is an inspiration to me, I come from humble rural backgrounds just 3 hours away from me lays Chicago where the Disney Family built a house and was starting a life before Elias Disney Walt's father moved them to Mississippi
There's a reason Kansas City claims to be Home of the Mouse because that's where Walt did a lot of blue collar work, from working in ad companies to working in the newspapers while he taught himself how to draw and eventually yes how to animate
You know how he first made his projectors at home with one of those really old-fashioned cameras. I am talking 1920s camera a sheet and some technical know-how,
Laugh-o-gram Studios had just gone up and that's what caused them to move to California, they weren't known, they did not have a penny to their name, they were just some Mississippi Chicago boys with a wish and a dream,
And from a shed in the backyard of Walt and Roy's Aunt and Uncle, the Disney Company would be founded and to go from that shed to the absolute massive company we see now
That only happened due in part because of Walt and yes Roy I will always give Roy just as much credit as his brother because he's much like Oswald quite forgotten in this story
Walt was a man ahead of his time, the original Dreamer no matter who laughed jeered ect he kept pushing the boundaries of what people thought Animation could do,
That is not to say he was perfect ohhh no he was definitely human, he had problems sharing he was known for being unbelievably stubborn on certain things, extremely old fashioned in views (He was Lost Gen After all being born in 1901)
1941 he traumatized himself horribly by ostracizing his crew who wanted to form a union, it lead to Walt getting into an actual brawl out front of the Disney Studios with one of his inner circle as they called it, leading to that one leaving with several others it broke his trust badly, and even worse
It took his passion for Animation away from him
A majority of projects in the 40s, 50s and '60s up until his death weren't really headed by him, sure he was involved in certain aspects but a majority of the times it was somebody else in the Studio that was the main overseer of those movies.
It really is sad because Jungle Book which was released in 1967 gave him his passion for animation back he was actually enjoying himself and had a few projects in mind, just as the cancer unfortunately struck and took him not even 2 months later on Dec 15th 1966,
When people say Walt Disney had so much unfinished business, they aren't lying. He was an imperfect human who believed in Family, Wishes,Dreams and seeing the Wonder in everything, that everything had a possibility to be great,
Did you know Characters in the parks aren't supposed to let go in a hug until the child does because Walt said
When a child hugs you, you don't let go first. Let them let go when they're ready because you never know how much they may need that hug in their life.
He was not perfect. However, he was a prime example of not giving up despite adversity, caring for Families instead of the Profits, Lord knows he danced the edge with bankruptcy multiple times fun fact The Three Caballeros helped save the company in the 40s after Fantasias fantastic flop, the government paid Disney to produce that package film and thats what kept them from going completely under, also thank Disney for your Surround Sound because Fantasia is the first 1. There is a reason some do say Disney is the prime example of the American Dream realized.
Because that's all Walt Roy and Ub had when they walked into Hollywood in the 1920s and founded a company that would become known around the World eventually with a Mouse who's name would come to be known by almost every child.

Meet the Characters of Disney Animation’s Once Upon a Studio
From Our Friends at D23: Suppose we’re going to get through all the characters in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new short Once Upon a Studio. In that case, we’d better get started, because in its rapid-fire nine minutes, some 543 characters from Disney Animation films and shorts make an appearance. If you spend just 30 seconds reading about each one, you’ll be done in a mere 4 hours and 32…

this is it, I'm at my limit now.
of all the countless classics you could've remade, y'all decided to choose the one that doesn't even qualify as a classic, one that's still SEVEN FUCKING YEARS OLD fresh off the minds of today's generation, one that actually touched my heart and had me wishing we'd get a sequel or series like they did with Frozen, Tangled, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia.
BUT NOPE.
it's official, Disney does not give a flying fuck about animation, not even their newer 3D ones, because really they only care about Marvel, Star Wars, live-action remakes, and James Cameron's sci-fi white savior power fantasy franchise because they're the ones giving them money, albeit not much since their stocks have been going down lately
so, I'm out. Eat your heart out, Disney.

Walt Disney thanking and showing appreciation for the work of the staffs who made possible the production of "Snow white and the seven dwarfs" in 1937. It's sad to read this and think about what is happening nowadays with the company.

We are writing this letter to encourage Disney leadership to do the right thing and recognize the demand of Production Coordinators, Production Managers, and Production Supervisors to join IATSE Local 839, The Animation Guild (TAG). This is the same union that represents the artists and TDs we work alongside each and every day. The Walt Disney Company is a massive company with a legacy that spans 100 years. It is time for Disney to recognize the contributions that production workers make to ensure the creative, financial, and cultural success of Disney’s animated features and special projects. It’s time we have the protections of a union like our MPEG editors and artists and TD colleagues in the Animation Guild.
Production is a craft in its own right, and by forming our union we are saying we deserve to have viable and sustainable careers paths, living wages, and the ability to retire with dignity. Currently, our compensation does not provide a living wage nor does it match the value of the work being performed to deliver these million and billion dollar films on schedule, on budget, and at the exceptional standard our great studio is known for. We want equity in our representation and to have access to the same fringe benefits as our artist colleagues.
Production Coordinators, Production Managers, and Production Supervisors advocate for our respective department of artists constantly, and it is past time that we advocate for ourselves to join TAG.
The historic, vast disparity between artists and production workers does not reflect our partnership with our artist peers and the important contributions the studio tells us we make. Including Production Coordinators, Managers, and Supervisors in TAG would be a step in the right direction toward erasing that disparity.
Disney, we demand you do the right thing and voluntarily recognize the IATSE and its Local 839, The Animation Guild as the exclusive representative for all Production Coordinators, Managers, and Supervisors. Trying to exclude half of us based on a standard not applicable to our industry based on current practices is an attempt to divide us. It will not work. The endurance of Disney for the past 100 years is only made possible by the workers who create the beloved films and shows that have inspired generations. Wouldn’t it be incredible if Disney began their next 100 years by recognizing and supporting their workers’ rights to organize?
Sincerely,
Production Coordinators, Production Supervisors, Production Managers, union represented WDAS employees, and additional supporters

HUZZAH!!! I finally completed watching the Clone Wars series! It took me quite awhile since my life has so busy lately. I know, I'm so behind the times, too. Lol 😜 It really doesn't matter tho. I'm just seriously even more an Ashoka fan, now! It was her debut on The Mandalorian series that truly captured my attention, which lead me to watch the AHSOKA series. It was super great casting Rosario Dawson to play the role, and she did an excellent job. ❤️

I'll be starting the Star Wars Rebels series next, which I've been most eager to watch. I now even more wish George Lucas held onto the rights for the Star Wars Universe. Walt Disney Company; Bob Iger truly ruined the love and lore of this wonderful sci-fi franchise with their last three feature films. There's still Hope for further redemption with the success of The Mandalorian series and possibly more awesome Stars Wars series to come. I personally want to see a Season 2 of AHSOKA! 😉 Lol
