"I can't say I'm surprised to see this is where you ended up."

The voice, familiar but like a distant memory, produced a startling involuntary effect; goosebumps rose all over Negan's body. He was immediately up off his cot, on his feet, and then at the bars of his cell. You hadn't come into the light yet. Your silhouette was still in the doorway. "You're shitting me..." Negan murmured, more to himself than you. He thought sincerely for a moment that he'd finally cracked, lost his gourd, gone completely batty from staring at those same walls. Surely, he was imagining you. He reached out and gripped the chill iron bars of his cell. "You're not here," he said into the space, asserting it as a fact.

Echoing footsteps and the vision of you stepping into the light, the same but changed, told him he was wrong. You had a scar on your chin that you didn't have before and you were older, like he was of course. He could still picture you exactly the way you'd been when you'd walked out of his life, and it didn't entirely match this version. "You think you're imagining me?" you asked him.

His breath left this lungs in a rush. "Fuck me. I thought I was. Now I see that I'm not," Negan said, his hazel eyes fixed intensely on your face. "Where in holy fucking hell have you been?" He was drinking you in with his eyes.

You gulped. "You really think I'm going to tell you?"

Negan laughed dryly. "You see where I am, right? What's the harm?"

You still didn't answer, just seemed to study him. You hated to admit it, but your heart still raced at the sight of him, even all these years later.

"I looked everywhere for you," he said, leaning against the bars on his forearm, stretching his tall, lean frame out.

"Trust me, I know," you said plainly.

Negan's voice was lower, had an ache in it when next he spoke. "Do you have any idea what you runnin' off did to me?"

You nodded. "Some."

Negan sighed and shook his head vaguely, unable to pull his eyes away from you for even a split second. "Baby, I would have burned the whole world for you."

A shaky breath left your lips and you fought the tears burning in your eyes. "I never asked for that."

"I know. And I still would have done it."

So, there is something that I would like to be done within the story of Arknights. It is something that I am sure many of you would agree with me on. What I want to see is what the freak happened to Reserve Ops. Team A1. What happened. I need to know. We know a bit from Lava the Purgatory, Kroos the Keen Glint, and Hibiscus the Purifier. But what about the other two? What happened to Beagle and Fang? All I know about it is that I'm pretty sure that Beagle is in a coma, and that Fang left Rhodes Island(I think), but I want to know what happens.

I've made a fanfiction about it already on Ao3, and I'll share a link to it here if this post gets some attention because I'm lazy right now, but I headcannon that Fang lost the use of her legs, either in an accident or injury of some sort, and left Rhodes Island because she felt that she couldn't do anything to help us anymore. In my fanfiction I wrote basically a reunion between Lava, Kroos, Hibiscus and Fang in RIM Biliton at a Logistics company that Fang made and runs.

But please, I want to hear your theories and thoughts on what happened to Reserve Ops. Team A1, and what you think might happen next for them. Either head cannon or supported by details in the game, either is fine. But please, I need more people talking about this.
