Valhalla

En la mitología nórdica Valhalla, el «Salón de los Caídos», es el reino de la eternidad donde habitan los héroes muertos en combate, que las valkirias de Odín han escogido para que formen parte del ejército que luchará contra las fuerzas del caos en Ragnarök. El concepto del Salón de Odín parece haberse generado a partir de una visión anterior en que se imaginaba la vida inmortal de un guerrero como un campo de batalla.

The Valkyries

Are dísir, minor female entities that served Odin under the command of Freyja, in Norse mythology. Their purpose was to choose the most heroic of those who fell in battle and take them toValhalla where they became einherjar. This was necessary, since Odin needed warriors to fight by his side in the battle of the end of the world, Ragnarönk.

Las Valquirias

Son dísir, entidades femeninas menores que servían a Odín bajo el mando de Freyja, en la mitología nórdica.​ Su propósito era elegir a los más heroicos de aquellos caídos en batalla y llevarlos al Valhalla donde se convertían en einherjar. Esto era necesario, ya que Odín precisaba guerreros para que luchasen a su lado en la batalla del fin del mundo, el Ragnarök.

Hey NY Lovers, today we are going to talk about Dior Fashion Week 2023.

For her Fall/Winter 2023-2024 collection, called Valquiria Miss Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted to transport us to a magical universe through an imposing textile installation with lights, made by Joana Vasconcelos Atelier, which incorporates fabrics inspired by the archives of the historic house. It immerses us, thus, in a beautiful garden of hyperbolic dimensions that seeks to pay tribute to Catherine, Christian Dior's sister. She, an elegant botanist, was the designer's first muse in the 1950s and also gave her name to his first perfume.
