Assalamu Alaikum

In the present where the kuffār have the upper hand over the Muslims, the Muslims are weak and oppressed, and the blood of the Muslim has become cheap in their eyes, it’s time for the Muslims to wake up and take the lesson as to why we are in this situation in the first place.

It is no secret that the Muslims are divided, disagreement and nationalism flourishes among them and wahn (love for dunyā and fear of death) has entered into their hearts.

Allāh – the Exalted – said:

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ

“And those who disbelieve are the allies of each other. And if you don’t do the same, then there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.” (Al-Anfāl 8:73)

The only thing that the Muslims are allowed to and must ally based upon, is the Tawhīd of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

And the only thing that has caused disunity and disagreement among them, is leaving the Tawhīd of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

Allāh – the Exalted – said:

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَاصْبِرُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“And obey Allāh and His Messenger, and do not disagree so that you will fail, and your strength will disappear. And have patience. Verily, Allāh is with those who are patient.” (Al-Anfal 8:46)

At-Tabarī narrated in his tafsīr of this verse:

حدثني محمد بن عمرو قال، حدثنا أبو عاصم قال، حدثنا عيسى, عن ابن أبي نجيح, عن مجاهد قوله: " وتذهب ريحكم " ، قال: نصركم. قال: وذهبت ريحُ أصحاب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، حين نازعوه يوم أحد.

Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to me and said: Abū ‘Āsim narrated to me and said: ‘Īsā narrated to me, from Ibn Abī Najīh, from Mujāhid (regarding) His Words: “and your strength will disappear.” He said: “(This means) your victory.”

He said: “The strength of the companions of Muhammad (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) disappeared when they disagreed on the day of Uhud.”

So strength, victory and honor lies in unity of the Muslims upon the Tawhīd of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and the obedience to Allāh and His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

You want to aid the Ummah, then learn Tawhīd, learn the Sunnah, rectify yourself, teach your kids and the new generation the knowledge of Tawhīd and Sunnah so they might be a succesful generation, and perhaps Allāh will give victory upon their hands.

Allāh will never give victory until the Ummah returns to the Tawhīd of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Allāh – the Exalted – said:

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

“Allāh has promised those who believe among you and perform good deeds, that He verily will make them successors upon earth, just as He made those before them successors. And He will verily establish their religion which He is pleased with for them. And He will verily change their state of fear into safety. They worship Me and do not associate anything with Me as partners in worship. And whoever disbelieves after this, then they are the rebellious sinners.” (An-Nur 24:55)

This promise of Allāh is not for the zanādiqah who claims Islām but holds beliefs of kufr and shirk.

Nor is it for the mubtadi’ah who belittle the Sunnah of Muhammad (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and base the religion upon their opinions and desires.

Rather, this promise if for the Muwahhidūn who sincerely worship Allāh alone, who reject the tāghūt, declare takfīr upon the mushrikūn, and ally and have enmity based upon this. And those who follow and believe in the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) according to the understanding of the Salaf. And those who after having established the correct belief, perform good deeds sincerely for the sake of Allāh alone.

Resulullah’ın üç nasihati

Hikmet ehli zatlar buyuruyor ki:

Mübarek bir zat, devrin sultanına şunları anlatır:

Peygamber efendimiz, vefatlarına yakın Bilal-i Habeşi’ye buyurdu ki:

Yâ Bilal, ümmetime haber ver ki, şu üç şeyi yaparlarsa, her işte muvaffak olurlar:

1- Ne yaparlarsa, hep Allah rızası için yapsınlar.

İki türlü maksat olur.

Ya Allah rızası için veya nefsin yani insanların rızası için.

İnsanların rızasını tercih edenlerin işini, Cenab-ı Hak insanlara bırakır.

Kendi rızasını tercih edenleri himayesine alır.

Kim Allah içinse, Allah da onun içindir.

Seyyid Abdülkadir Geylani hazretlerine, (Siz ne mübarek bir zatsınız) demişler.

(Nereden biliyorsunuz?) diye sormuş.

(Herkes sizi sevip övüyor) demişler.

Buyurmuş ki, (İnsanlar bizi sevsin diye Müslüman olmadık.

Allah sevsin diye Müslümanız.

Bu insanlara güven olmaz; bugün severler, yarın söverler.)

2- Birlik ve beraberlik içerisinde olsunlar.

Cemaatte rahmet, ayrılıkta azap vardır.

Birlikten kuvvet, ayrılıktan felaket doğar.

Birlik ve beraberlikten maksat, bedenlerin birlik ve beraberliği veya aynı yerde olmak değil, gönüllerin birliği, hedeflerin ortak olmasıdır.

Hedefi Allah rızası olanın yüzü aktır, yardımcısı da Cenab-ı Hak’tır.

3- Asla doğrudan ayrılmasınlar.

Allahü teâlâ doğruların yardımcısıdır. Peygamber efendimiz Müslümanı, (Elinden ve dilinden emin olunan insan) diye tarif etmiştir.

Müslüman demek, doğru insan demektir.

İşi, ameli, sözü doğru, her şeyiyle dürüsttür, gözü gönlü toktur, onda sahtekârlık yoktur.

Doğruluk onun alameti, hem de selametidir.

Bu arada sultan, (Herkese iyilik yapıyorum, ama bazılarından düşmanlık görüyorum. Niçin böyle yaparlar ki?) diye sorar.

O zat der ki:

Sultanım, bunu Peygamber efendimiz şöyle açıklıyor:

(İyilik ettiklerinize çok dikkat edin! Size bir zararları dokunabilir.)

Eğer iyilik edilen kimse, fâsıksa veya din iman tanımıyorsa, bu iyilik onda ters etki yapabilir.

Baklavanın şeker hastasına dokunması gibidir.

Bu yüzden, iyilik ettiğimiz şahıslara karşı dikkatli olmalıyız.

Sohbette bu zatın oğlu da varmış.

Sultan bunları yolcu eder.

Yolda giderken oğlu, (Baba, sen sultana hep dinden bahsettin, nasihat ettin.

Hiç dünya işlerinden, siyasetten bahsetmedin) der.

Babası da, (Oğlum, bizim başka sermayemiz yoktur.

Her kaptan içindeki sızar.

Bizden de bunlar sızdı) buyurur.

Prophet of Islam Muhammad's three advices:

The people of wisdom say:

A blessed person tells the sultan of the time:

Our Master the Prophet said to Bilal-i Abyssinian, who was close to his death:

O Bilal, inform my ummah that if they do these three things, they will be successful in everything:

1- Whatever they do, they should always do it for the sake of Allah.

There are two purposes. Either for the sake of Allah or for the sake of your soul, that is, for the sake of people. Allah Almighty leaves the work of those who prefer people's consent to people. He takes those who prefer his own consent under his protection. Whoever is for Allah, Allah is for him. Sayyid Abdulkadir Geylani said to His Excellency, "What a blessed person you are." (How do you know?) he asked. (Everyone loves and praises you) they said. He said, (We did not become Muslims so that people would love us. We are Muslims so that Allah would love them. These people cannot be trusted; they love today, they curse tomorrow.)

2- Let them be in unity and togetherness.

There is mercy in the congregation, and there is torment in the separation. Unity is strength, separation is disaster. The purpose of unity and solidarity is not the unity of bodies or being in the same place, but the unity of hearts and common goals. The face of the one whose goal is to please Allah is white, and his assistant is Allah Almighty.

3- Never leave directly.

Allahu ta'ala is the helper of the righteous. Our Master the Prophet described a Muslim as a person whose hand and tongue are safe. Muslim means the right person. His work, deeds and words are true, he is completely honest, his eyes are full, there is no dishonesty in him. Righteousness is his sign, as well as his salvation.

Meanwhile, the sultan asks, "I am doing everyone a favor, but I see hostility from some. Why do they do that?" That person says:

My Sultan, our Master the Prophet explains this as follows: (Be very careful with what you do good! They may harm you.)

If the beneficiary is sinful or if the religion does not recognize faith, this favor may have an adverse effect on him. It is like touching the baklava to a diabetic. Therefore, we must be wary of those we do good to.

There was also the son of this person in the conversation. Sultan sends them away. On the way, his son says, "Father, you always talked to the sultan about religion, you gave advice. You never talked about worldly affairs or politics." His father also says, "Son, we do not have any other capital. Every captain leaks inside. These leaked from us, too."

“It has been nearly six months since the genocidal project began unfolding in Gaza.

Muslims across the globe have been glued to their screens, witnessing one of the most significant terrorist atrocities in recent memory.

Never before has such a horrifying genocide been broadcast in real-time for the world to see. This unprecedented situation has taken, not only Muslims on a roller coaster of emotions, but the world, as they witness the heart-wrenching destruction in Gaza alongside the remarkable resilience of its people, (brothers and sisters).

To delve deeper into the thoughts, emotions, and religious responses of Muslims worldwide, a survey was conducted by Yaqeen, reaching out to over 1800 English-speaking Muslims. The results shed light on the impact of the Gaza situation on their faith and spirituality.

The turmoil in Gaza has served as a wake-up call for many, with 78% of respondents reporting an improvement in their relationship with Allah since the crisis began.

The unwavering faith displayed by the people of Gaza, even in the face of adversity, has inspired a surge in religiosity among Muslims globally.

Witnessing the steadfastness of the Gazans has led 91% of respondents to draw religious inspiration from them, with 97% expressing pride in their resilience.

The survey also revealed a deepening connection to the Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ among Muslims.

A significant majority found comfort and solace in reading the Qur’an, especially in light of the verses that resonate with the situation in Gaza.

The descriptions of the afterlife provided in the Qur’an and Sunnah have offered reassurance to believers, with 96% finding comfort in the belief that martyrs are alive in paradise.

Furthermore, the assault on Gaza has sparked a stronger sense of ummah unity among Muslims worldwide.

The sacred significance of Palestine, particularly Masjid al-Aqsa, has strengthened the resolve of 93% of respondents who view its liberation as a deeply personal and religious matter.

The survey also revealed overwhelming opposition to the normalization of relations with Israel, with 96% of respondents expressing concern about the potential harm it could inflict on Palestinians.

The genocide in Gaza has not only tested the faith and emotions of Muslims globally but has also served as a catalyst for a global spiritual awakening, unity, and a renewed commitment to justice and solidarity beyond the ummah 🍉 ‎ subḥāna-llāh

Let us never allow the unity among Muslims to wane. Regardless of what we call ourselves, we are all creations of the same God, Allah. He has taught us to stand up for our rights. Those who side with oppressors want to see us divided; they do not want this unity. Our unity is our greatest strength. Palestine is a nation guided by our Prophet S.A.W, and it will never surrender. We may not have Palestinian blood within us, but every Muslim is a Palestinian. It is a nation guided by our Prophet S.A.W, and whenever he referred to us, he referred to us as a single united Ummah. All these notions of nationality or whatever you may call it are not our concern. We are all one; we are all Palestinians, and we will not surrender to anyone.

"the ummah" is one of those concepts which is great to strive for and which in theory exists too little too often and it breaks your heart. the division into sects from the very beggining. the inter-wars from the very beggining. horrid conflicts between muslim nations and peoples. the placing of nationalism and ethnicity before the ummah. the placing of sects before the ummah. sects wanting to scream that other muslims are actually not the right kind of muslim so apparently opression and murder is ok??? sufi masjids, shrines, and people being killed. shias, so many other sects targeted. were not even allowed to have sects or to believe in them god forgive us. the list is so endless. what a pity. human nature in the face of a concept which calls for unity
