Wanted to show off my new Travelers notebook cuz i'm so hype about it. Pictures, plus unimpressed catte :3

I got the camel cover and put on a blue band- then added the bead and the old korilakkuma charm. Also added a couple lil beads to the bookmarks!

Found the teal zipper/pocket insert on Amazon and keep my Kaweco Sport fountain pen in there in the front and a lil notebook for recording new music thoughts in the back. Stuck my fav Black Sails pin on the front (by @siriusbound and available here!)

Pencil board meant for hobonichi planners that i use both for a bookmark and a pencil board/straight edge. It's got a photo by Saul Leiter on it of a man taken thru a foggy rainy window and i really love it.

Big binder clip to keep the inserts from being unruly (I've got a regular blank one for journaling and a sketch insert)

I really like it so far!

I think the best thing about keeping a travel journal is reading them years later and, because you took the time to sit in one place and paint, the memories are so much clearer than if you had just “snapped a photo” and left.

I can clearly remember the crowded plaza where I sketched the clock tower or the sun setting as I sat painting on the Grand Canal.

I wish I was a better traveler. But I’m happy I pushed myself to get out of the Hobbit Hole for this adventure.
