Appearance: She has long wavy brown hair that reaches her calves. She has purple eyes. She has a large scar on her eye. She has many scars on her body and her tail is purple but it also has wounds and is a bit damaged. She is about 5'1". She loves her flower choker, but is not allowed to wear it.

The Sea Serpents (Info Dump)

Warnings: Violence, fighting, piracy, etc.

Echo - The Vigilante

Personality: Echo is a pirate that acts as a vigilante, taking on criminals and annihilating many of her foes. She is witty, tough, and fearless. She is extremely difficult to kill and exhibits no fear in the face of danger. She is resourceful in the face of danger and isn't hesitant to speak her opinion and be as clear as possible. She has fought tyrants and broken apart corrupted communities. She, on the other hand, is a little naughty and enjoys pulling pranks on odd individuals. She's rude, and her bite is as nasty as her bark. She enjoys mocking and upsetting her adversaries.

Appearance: Her hair is naturally blue and her eyes are red. She has a scar on her right eye that is very noticeable and nearly took her eyesight which she didn’t lose. She just wears an eye patch for convenience. She takes after her father in human form.

Her anthropomorphic monster form is a sea serpent/fish. (Kinda like Undyne.) Her natural monster form is a sea serpent, like Viper. She is about 6'6" in human form and 7'6" in anthropomorphic monster form. She’s a huge sea serpent in her natural serpent form.

Eris - The Scholar

Personality: Eris is a pirate on the lookout for her mother and father. She is courageous, kind, and soft-spoken. She is careful in risky situations, but she also understands when to become dirty and emerge out of hiding. She, like her older sister, idolizes a strong fighter. She has eliminated a swarm of pesky pirates and, while assisting her sister, she has left more important concerns (tyrannical kings, etc.) to her sister. Because of her ostensibly innocent and lovely attitude, she generally joins in her sister's pranks and serves as the major diversion. Her bark and bite are both vicious, but she defers to her older sister.

Appearance: She has red eyes. Her hair is a much lighter blue, than her older sisters. She seems to take after her mother in human form. Unlike her older sister, she no scars on her face whatsoever.

Her anthropomorphic monster form is a sea serpent/fish. (Kinda like Undyne.) Her natural monster form is a sea serpent, like Viper. She is about 6'0" in human form and 7'0" in anthropomorphic monster form. She’s a huge sea serpent in her natural serpent form.

Dextera - The Mother of Eris and Echo

Personality: She is astute, caring, and brave. She is happily married to a wonderful man and remains serene in his presence. She has a calm and motherly exterior, frequently acting as a mother hen and watching out for others. She is a teacher for children and takes special care of them. When it comes to adversaries or a former flame, she is rude and cold. She is incredibly intelligent and knows what she is doing. She has a powerful voice at times and frequently finds herself reading. She is more bite than bark because she is so calm.

Appearance: She has blue eyes. Her hair is a light blonde. She has a scar on her left eye.

Her anthropomorphic monster form is a sea serpent/fish. (Kinda like Undyne.) Her natural monster form is a sea serpent, like Viper. She is about 6'8" in human form and 8'8" in anthropomorphic monster form. She’s a huge sea serpent in her natural serpent form. She is an incredibly light blue in these forms.

Viper - The Redeemed Traitor

Personality: Viper is a thoughtful, polite, and cautious man. He's also a little impulsive and contrite for his past mistakes. He is a gentle giant, despite his outward aspect. He is quiet and concentrated. He watches after everybody and especially his adopted daughters. He is perfectly capable of murdering people in order to safeguard what he values. He admits to being unintentionally selfish and admits to being more concerned with survival than attachments in the past. In truth, he is a paid pirate. He adores his sister and is usually concerned about her well-being.

Appearance: Viper has many forms. In his anthropomorphic form (he is 8'9" in this form), he just looks like a dragon monster while missing an arm (he has teal skin in this form). He also has a prosthetic arm.

He also has a human form. He’s about 6'9" in this form. He has green eyes and long black hair. He, like his anthropomorphic form, is missing an eye and an arm. He also has ear piercings. He is very muscular in human and anthropomorphic form. He has tattoos on his arms of an anchor and compass. He has a butterfly tattoo on his left shoulderblade.

Eowyn - The Doctor

Personality: Eowyn is a caring individual who sincerely cares about people. She works hard to better herself and is very kind. She worked so hard to be a kind person, and she still strives to be one, despite how readily her generosity is exploited. She hates herself and is indifferent about her own health. She puts the well-being of others ahead of her own. She cherishes her brother and will never expose family secrets for his sake. She is burdened and regularly loses her will. She pushes herself, but when she pushes herself too far, she falls.

Appearance: Eowyn, like her older brother, has many forms. In her anthropomorphic form (She’s 8'0" in this form), she just looks like a dragon monster and she has more teal skin, leaning towards the blue side, unlike her brother who leans toward the green side of teal. In her natural form, she looks just like her brother in her sea monster form. She has purple skin compared to her brother, though.

She has a human form, the same as her brother, which she often uses as she carries her spear everywhere. She is 6'0 in this form. She has tan (borderline rich) skin like her older brother. She also has long black hair like her brother. She also has heterochromatic eyes with green on the left and blue on the right.

Still Here (A Hydrangea Sea's Song Story)

Warnings: Mentions of violence, pain, blood, alcohol, etc.

Hydrangea's hands stroked the pages of her books as she flipped them. She scrutinized every paper, every note, every picture… Her hand trembles as she comes to a halt. She shuts her eyes and sighs. She saw the notes her former crew members would leave for her, playfully teasing her, adding to her stories, and providing additional information.

"Musing through memories... Losing my grip in the gray..."

Hydrangea sets the glass down in her hand. She shuts her eyes and reflects. She was losing hope. She recently lost her home and is currently in a different location far from home.

"Numbing the senses... I feel you slipping away...'

Hydrangea sinks her face into her hands. She shuts her eyes as she recalls joyful moments, but the happy memories are replaced with pain, screaming, and blood… The frigid water when she stepped into it.

"Fighting to hold on... Clinging to just one more day..."

Hydrangea firmly closes her eyes. She lets out a quiet sigh as she feels her consciousness fragment…

She had returned to the ship. She was looking around the room. As Aerwyna dragged her up to the deck, she smiled. She grins as she takes in her surroundings. Calder drew her in as they examined the group. Her eyes welled up as she saw a storm approaching, and her stomach dropped. She tries to speak to her group… But she can't fully understand what she's saying as she watches the flames burn and the storm rage.

"Love turns to ashes... With all that I wish I could say."

Hydrangea had returned to the ship. She was watching her pals struggle for their life, wanting to help but being powerless. As Aegir shoved her out of the path, she couldn't move. She awakens when she hits the water.

"I'd die to be where you are... I tried to be where you are!"

Hydrangea hums while she sings in a slightly slower tone. As the tavern turns towards her, she leans back. She sings with her eyes closed.

"Every night I dream you're still here... The ghost by my side, so perfectly clear!"

Hydrangea sings as she recalls wonderful memories and dreams she wishes she could save. She was with the gang, and they were having fun and winning…

But those were just dreams, weren't they?

"When I awake, you'll disappear~... Back to the shadows... With all I hold dear... With all I hold, dear..."

As the group begins to sway to her voice, she sings. She wished she could be with the gang. She wished she could get out of here.

"I dream you're still here... (I dream you're still here~...) I dream you're still here..."

As she finally leaves for her inn, the audience applauds. She was still thinking about them. Their chuckles, their smiles, the way Conway would join in, the way they all did… Despite the fact that some of them couldn't sing to save their lives.

"Hidden companion... Phantom be still in my heart..."

As she walks to the burial, Hydrangea's hands trace the mountain trees. She buried her friends beside the graveyard. She noticed the flowers she had planted herself. When she sees the grave, her hands quiver.

"Make me a promise that.. Time won't erase us~... That we were not lost from the start..."

As she collapses on her knees, Hydrangea half-begs for the gravesite. Her hands shake as she touches the grave. Her eyes were blurred by tears. Her soul ached. She wanted them here.

She wanted to go home.

She wanted to be with her family.

"I'd die to be where you are... I tried to be where you are..."

She cursed the Gods silently. Why was she spared? What did she do wrong? Why was she cursed? What did she do wrong? Was it only the fact that she was born? They couldn't even offer her death as a mercy. As she sobbed, she closed her eyes.

"Every night I dream you're still here... The ghost by my side, so perfectly clear~..."

She sang quietly to the tombs. She recalls times when she was alone and had a dream that they were close to her.

"When I awake, you'll disappear... Back to the shadows! With all, I hold dear... With all I hold, dear..."

Wynter encourages her, Aerwyna teaches her social tips, Delmare uses her as a model, Tethys' words of encouragement as they prepare her favorite meal, Calder teaches her how to use her rapier more effectively, Aegir scolds her as he heals her after a mission, and Conway assisted her in performing when she needed it... But then that memory ends as she thinks back to that stormy night.

"I dream you're still here (every night I dream you're still, every night)... I dream you're still here...."

She was quietly writing the fictional stories of the Sea's Song. She made them brave and strong; she would dream they were there. That they're alive and looking for her.

"Ever slightly out of reach! I dream you're still here..."

Hydrangea's hands tremble as she begins to tear up more. She closes her eyes as she gets back to her dream realm.

"But it breaks so easily!"

She was dreaming of the Sea's Song. She was out in the middle of the night. That dreadful night so long ago. She attempted to change the story by reaching out to the organization. She trembles as she watches the group battle. She was in severe need… So despondent. She wept and called, pleading with someone, anything, to save them.

But nobody came.

"I try to protect you-! I can't let you fade!"

Hydrangea makes an attempt to stop Aegir. She tries to protect them from harm. She tries, she really tries, but it's too late. She noticed the blood as she felt the ground sink. She was powerless to act. She takes Delmare's hand in hers. A solitary change in this night's story. Delmare was attempting to assist her. Hydrangea was trembling, quivering, and closing her eyes.

"I feel you slipping-!"

When Hydrangea imagines Delmare's voice, her eyes expand, but she only sees her friend smile for a split second. She bursts into tears. This was still a nightmare. It wasn't real. Why?

Why?!

Why wasn't it real?! What did she do wrong? What did they do wrong?

"I feel you slipping away-!"

As her hand's slide, Hydrangea calls back to Delmare. As she approaches the ocean, she notices the ship fading into the darkness. She was back in the chilly water, barely holding on, but what was the point?

"Every night I dream you're still here... The ghost by my side, so perfectly clear!"

Hydrangea awakens in an instant. She was the only one in her inn room. She started shaking, trembling, and then sobbing. She sobbed at the top of her lungs. She covered her face with her legs and sobbed. Her sobs were shaking her very soul.

"When I awake, you'll disappear! Back to the shadows... With all I hold dear! With all I hold, dear..."

She could feel the soothing touch of her friends, but what used to comfort her now disturbed her even more. It was freezing and unreal. She was aware it wasn't genuine, but she was desperate. Wishing, hoping, and dreaming, it was all true.

But it wasn't.

"I dream you're still here (I dream you're still here)! I dream you're still here (every night I dream you're still)! (Every night I dream you're still here)."

She was dreaming, it was never real. It's gone, they're gone. She needs to accept it.

"I dream you're still here (every night I dream you're still)! (Every night I dream you're still here)... Ever slightly out of reach (I dream you're still here)."

She had no home to return to. No family to reach out to. No one. Nothing. She had no one left.

Not a single person.

She was alone. Again.

"(Every night I dream you're still). (Every night I dream you're still here)!"

"I just want to go home." She sighs and pulls her legs closer to her chest. She shuts her eyes. Her stories, her exploits, everything were spread out on the bed…

"But it breaks so easily."

She is preoccupied with assisting Hydrangea and dealing with the opposition. She isn't afraid to get a little sloppy. She possesses a silent anger capable of destroying villages and cities.

Appearance: She has long purple hair and red eyes. She is abut 5'7". She is a shapeshifter mermaid.

Llyr - The Quartermaster

Personality: They're a careless, yet lethal foe. They do not pause. They are speedy with their kills. They are otherwise quite nice. They're extremely perceptive and astute. They can effortlessly deceive others and understand how to read people. They almost never make a terrible decision. They genuinely care about the workers and do whatever they can to assist with problems. They have a strong throat and may completely roast you. They know where it hurts, and their bark and bite are extremely painful. They are, without a doubt, the smartest members of the crew.

Appearance: They're a skeleton monster with deep red eye lights. They're about 5'9". They have two large scars on their left eye.

Nixie - The Carpenter

Personality: He's a gentle and caring man. He's a great dad pal. He is concerned about people and takes his job and his employees seriously. He is continuously worried about them and frequently stressed out about them. He can be quite loving, but don't be misled; when necessary, he is a lethal opponent. He prefers to talk things out, yet he is a frightening and forceful menace. His bite is far more dangerous than his bark, and his serenity can be lethal. In general, he is rarely furious. He prefers talking about issues though.

Appearance: He is a sea monster. He's about 6'7". He usually prefers his sea monster form. He is covered in scars and his right eye has a large scar on it.

Thalassa - The Boatswain

Personality: A remote but chatty individual. She is a social butterfly who appreciates good music and conversation in general. She takes after the crew like a mother would and is constantly concerned about the group. She, on the other hand, is the sort to go for the neck. She prefers to fight rather than communicate. She is mostly bite and no bark. Her nasty insults are frequently covered up by the group. She is an extremely charming lady, yet she cannot, for the life of her, disrespect anyone. She likes cooking and painting as she does it in her free time.

Appearance: She is a ghost monster. She's about 5'3". She prefers her Blooky ghost form. ShShe has pink hair and blue eyes.

Atlantis - The Fighter

Personality: 90% of the time, they are sleeping. They are, however, incredibly cool and quiet while they are awake. When it comes to insults, they go for the throat and aren't afraid to fight. They are one of the most powerful combatants. They are exceptionally gifted in magic. They watch after others and are abrasive to anyone outside of the crew. They're blunt and direct about everything. Their bite is more powerful than their bark, but don't dismiss their bark. They frequently let Nixie handle the negotiations because they are largely there to help as needed.

Appearance: They are a human. They're about 6'3". They're a muscular, but lean individual.

Merwyn - The Lookout

Personality: She is a pleasant and lively individual. She enjoys crafting and keeping an eye out for individuals. She is quiet and thoughtful. But don't underestimate her; if you injure her crew, she can and will murder you. She takes after people and enjoys sewing and mending her crew's clothes. She is concerned about others and enjoys keeping an eye on things. She is extremely perceptive and never misses anything. She has a keen sense of observation and intuition. She is more of a barker than a biter. She despises fighting, but she will not back down if necessary. She tries to help others as much as she can.

Appearance: She is a skeleton sea monster who stays in her anthropomorphic form. She has golden eye lights. She is about 5'9".

The Queen of the Deep Sea (Short AU Story)

Short! Short!!!

Warning: Death, dust, etc.

Nightmare began to gasp and disintegrate into dust as Hydrangea hardly moved. As she regarded him, her eyes were cold and emotionless. She came over and drove her heel into his chest, causing him to crumble quicker. She gave a chilly glare. When he opened his jaws, he was nothing more than a skull. But then she kicked it against a wall. He shattered into dust.

"That's for everything you did." She hisses coldly at the ground. She can sense the other crew members' gaze on her as well as their emotions.

The fear, the confusion, the anger, the sadness... The look that could kill.

Instead of feeling guilt or pain... She felt joy.

After all, they deserved it. Why should she feel any remorse? But she wasn't finished. She wasn't going to stop until they felt every ounce of misery they inflicted on her…

And she wouldn't care, not even for a moment.

Hydrangea moved to the bow of her ship, her heel turned away from the group. She was known as the Deep Sea Queen. She murdered any foe within reason. She wasn't unreasonable in any way. She assisted many in need, but in the end, she had adversaries. Unfortunately for them, she never felt much guilt when she put them down.

"Captain, another group has foolishly approached you." With a frustrated tone, one of her crewmates said. Hydrangea hummed as she ran her fingertips along the ship's hull. She tensed as her icy look met hers as she faced her fellow monster. She, however, walked over with a soothing grin.

"Thank you, Marina." Hydrangea smiled calmly at the younger monster. She took a step around her. She returned to the deck, where she could see the opposing ship across the way. She groaned as her fingertips tapped the ship's hull. "Surely, you just want to talk." Hydrangea smiled, but the group braced themselves for her cold stare.

"W-Why would we want to speak with someone like you?!" The captain yelled back, foolishly but bravely. Hydrangea let out a sigh.

"I truly hoped you'd be wise… So be it…" As her team prepared to tear them apart, Hydrangea snapped her fingers. The fighting commenced.

"Drinks are on me." Hydrangea cooed to her companions. Marina grinned enthusiastically next to Llyr. While Atlantis napped at the table, Nixie was cleaning up a mess. As refreshments were served around, Thalassa was cleaning up her needlework. Merwyn was assisting her in cleaning.

"You're our hero, captain." Llyr smiled as they took the cup, followed by Maria. They started drinking. Nixie shook his head at the cup, and Atlantis slept away their lives. Thalassa and Merwyn decided against drinking. Hydrangea hummed as she sipped her booze. She hummed while the group laughed.

She made her home this time.

And this time, she'd kill to protect it.
